Anybody using Tweet Adder?

I've been looking into this product and it seems on the surface to be a pretty good program, but there is one thing holding me back from purchasing it. My experience has been that when you target by keyword, I presume you will get the same types of results you get when you type in a search on Twitter by the same keywords.

Every time I've tried that with any decent niche, almost 100% of the tweets that come back are from other Internet Marketers selling the same kinds of things I want to sell. Doesn't seem like a very good basis for a follower base.

Anybody have an input on this?

    Hi remotedb,

Find a top guys in your niche and click on "search by Followers of another user" I think it's the easiest way to do it.

P.S Tweetadder works really good and they offer a free trial

Well, that's what I thought too but the problem with this approach is that Tweet Adder will crash if you try to do this with someone with a large following, it's right there in their FAQ they make no secret of it, therefore the "top guys" strategy would be impossible to execute. Additionally they specifically recommend against this strategy, calling it a "shotgun" approach.

Besides that, who's to say who the top guys are in the niche anyway? Just the ones with the most followers? Anyone can build a large list of followers with this tool, it's the quality of the followers that matters. How do you know who the "top guys" are?

Don't look for them on twitter.
Google your keyword, find some good blog with lots of people leaving comments, some of them they will have a "Follow me" Button, finally, look at their tweets to be sure it's relevant.

Even if he's not the "top one", He will still have some good followers from his blog.

    hope it's help

    Ben

if you want to find real twitter people by keyword then use the following format in the search

    keyword -http -https -www -com

if you have two keywords then type as follows

"keyword1 Keyword2" -http -https -www -com

They have a 7 day "refund policy" ... I purchased 2 days ago and their software has been down... I requested a refund and they told Paypal not to refund me... How do yo think I feel after paying $55 down the drain... I usually never curse... but this people should not be steeling money just like this...

I use Tweet Adder this way: I narrow my list to people who have very few followers and they follow very few people. I set it to un-follow them if they don't follow me back within one day to eliminate people who don't check their account every day. Add in my keywords and I get followers who look at their Twitter feed, but have very few things to read. As long as my older posts interest them, they'll follow me back.

Don't do anything stupid -- like try to sell them something without providing good content first.
