The Cash Code - oh snap!

so out comes Michael Jones's new product the Cash Code. I've read some pro's and cons in this forum about past products he's done (mostly cons).

Are his products really worth the time and investment?

No his products never seem to be worth it - he' is mostly a smooth talker who tries to fill it with teaching you the art rather than the specifics fluff that many terrible ebooks do and his new product Cash Code is no exception. A friend of mine bought it earlier and I had a quick sift through it and it was classic Jones cons.

Don't waste your time on his products. If you are looking to learn new methods etc then try and focus on ebooks that are no crap and too the point. There are only a handful out there but those are the ones that will help you turn your IM hobby into a career

    Cheers,
    Bruce

It doesn't seem like anything that promises tons of money with no work is effective. Learn the basics of be business and then learn to grow that business. Very simple concept but it takes work.

Well, I have bought and it has been a couple of hours, and I still can't get in. I'm not so sure this is the same Mike Jones as other products I have seen. This guy is from Ireland.
I will update here if I ever get in...or not.

Ugly Dog, actually this may be a good package for you. I finally got in and it is a good package for a beginner. And this is the same Michael Jones from the ClickBank code.

I won't mention his name here, but he is a famous guru who uses pen names sometimes.

If you go to the Cash Code home page and then exit, you can get a 10 dollar discount.

You will get three full PLR packages with auto responder messages, squeeze pages, sales pages, and all the psd files.

Also videos showing how to set it all up, and some videos on traffic.

All in all, I think it is worth the 67 dollars, if one is just starting.
When I started, I paid $300 for much less!

Well I've looked at his product and I think if you're new you can have a lot of stuff set up for you but after the initial 3 webpages you have to pay to get more but if you've made some profit on the $77 then who cares if its working for you. Check the review at reviewthecashcode.org

What are your thoughts on saturation? Looks pretty good so far, but what happens when all of these people embark on trying to market them while using the same methods...do you think they'll be "bumping elbows?"
There are Upsells with this product "4 irresitable upsells" to be precise so that should tell you everything! Affiliates are offered upto $195, thats 60% commision for life i.e membership scheme aswell, new plr packages every month etc, Total purchase price $325. Expect to get bombarded with this offer as there are big cash bonuses for the best selling affiliates, this is where you make your money, selling the product not buying it. My advise, build a list, set up an adword campaign - sell the product.

well purchased cash code three days ago and still I am not up and running, I am very new at all this but thought when he said it would be up and running in two hours, I should be good in 5 or 6. not so.

then there is the no money needed thing, one of my bonuses I got with mine was to be free hosting and domain well that didnt happened took a few hours to set this up and 70.00

then I need yet another 99.00 for a law site to have a privacy and disclaimer page made. this took a day to get and set up

the 300.00 worth of upsells were terrible, makes you feel like if you dont buy them you cant do this system right. I left the site after I did this for awhile. never bought the upsells and i never will.

still working on setting it up will keep you posted

well its been a couple of weeks. I finally got to the last video in module one. everything is set up like websites, domains, hosting account, filzilla account (html), kompozer account to move files. my head is spinning. 200.00 later and a lot of monthly charges to come. just hope this makes money first. after all of this I really want this work.

But this video ended with all you need to do is send traffic to your squeeze page.
HOW HOW HOW do I do this.
I thought on his sales page he said he supplied high quality traffic.
                I have emailed customer support,
                will keep you posted.
its been about three weeks now and I have worked a few hours every day. so much for two hours
I did not buy the upsells thank God.
But the few hundred and all the time I have invested I need this to work.
I have been trying this stuff for a year now, cannot seem to find anything that works can someone help.
                what am I doing wrong.

I have never tried any of Michael Jones stuff, I can say that i
get tons of emails from him every single day. I also get just as
many emails from affiliates promoting him, so he must be doing
something right. I do hear a lot of bad comments about his work
but it dosen't seem to hurt him any.

I have wasted my fair share on useless IM material, i have just
about got to the stage where I hope i can sort the good from
                  the bad.

But here's to the next time.

I think we all know that MJ is a great marketer. He knows all the right buttons to push to get people to buy his products, and there is always some good information in his courses.

The real issue here, that so far nobody has proven, is that his methods and strategies actually work-AS ADVERTISED. His sales page says that you can have this set up in 2 hours. We already know that this is FAR FROM reality, from other warriors who have posted in this thread.

And we haven't heard from any warriors who are making that $106,235 in 29 days. In fact, nobody has claimed to even have made 1/100th or even 1/1000th of that amount.

If the products he gives you to sell are supposed to be your OWN products, where you keep 100% of the profits, then why is he showing his CLICKBANK account income?? If your're supposed to drive massive traffic to your own website, and collect 100% of the profits, then what does Clickbank have to do with any of this?? Shouldn't he be showing his PayPal account, or his merchant processing account income?

Still waiting for someone to prove to us that The Cash Code works as advertised, or even works at all.

But so far, there isn't a single person who claims to be successful using his products. Just because he may be #1 on Clickbank, still has nothing to do with the quality of the information. There are a lot of desperate people out there trying to make a living, and when someone tells them they have a way to make $106,235 in 29 days, it's very tempting. Of course, many buyers are thinking.....if I could just do 10% of that, I would be happy....... So far, we haven't heard from anyone in this thread that is making even 1% of that amount.

Many so-called "money making opportunities" prey on newbies, and target the wannabe IMs with no experience and very little money. I hope you can prove to us that The Cash Code is not just another of those products.

Ya'll have saved me sooooo much money.

Anyone have any good recommendations for a product that is solid, and would realistically enable me to make some money online? I worked at a university and was recently laid off, so I need to get busy pursuing this this internet marketing thing, or I'm going to be in some trouble. I have a fairly solid fundamental understanding of how all of this works, but have absolutely no technical skills. I am a little intimidated as I know that there are some of the brightest minds in the world doing this, but from what I gather, with some hard work I might be able to make a run at it. I could also use a good mentor, if anyone feels up for the challenge.

Again, thanks to all for keeping me informed...

          Hey,
I haven't bought the cash code but I studied The Affiliate Code.
I must say that the training is excellent, especially if you are a beginner.
However, his main traffic techniques might be too old for today's online marketing.

For example, I posted tons and tons of content on wordpress MU blogs with links pointing to my blogger. But I still get no traffic from any of them.

However, his affiliate evaluator excel spreadsheet is really worth the money. Doing what he suggests you can easily find out whether a product is going to be profitable or not. I still go back to those videos to make all that knowledge sink in.

Finally, if you are looking for a good mentor, you should try David Guindon.
He has some excellent trainings on CPA marketing, which is WAY more cost effective than traditional IM. You can do CPA marketing without having a website, sticking your affiliate links on sites that get tons of traffic already...

          Good luck

I am deciding whether to take up an offer which involves buying this product. I am sure it has some value for an absolute beginner but many will not find it so easy to get the income talked about. There will always be the 2 or 3 percent who will have a certain amount of luck and succeed.

Should I buy this just to be given $100 to spend with a certain CPA network?

      Hi mrdanderson,

Thanks for your review. One thing I would really like to see in this thread is someone who actually made money with ANY of Michael Jones' products.

It seems that on WF, we are constantly hearing about the "potential" for certain products. Many people review / bash them even before buying them, others review them before implementing them. And others review them because they are selling them. It's really hard for me to believe that a "review" is unbiased when it has an affiliate link attached to it. (No offense Simon )

We almost never hear about anybody truly making money with any of these programs. Why not? Either buyers don't take action, they fail miserably, and don't want to admit it, or they are making a killing and don't want to share their experiences, due to potential increased competition.

I found it a bit unsettling when in the sales page video, "Dave" starts talking about an affiliate product he had success with, but said that he wouldn't share the niche. It makes me wonder then, how valuable are the niches that he IS sharing with us? He claims to be 100% transparent in the video, but he is not willing to share a niche that he has proven to be successful.

My first experience with MJ was with The Affiliate Code. I thought it had a lot of great information, and was well-presented. HOWEVER, in The Affiliate Code, he claims that it "will generate Instant Income, Crazy Conversions, and Tens OF Thousands In Commission Checks For Anyone".
He also stated that his is a "FREE Marketing System".

Did anyone here make ANY money with The Affiliate Code?
Was anyone here able to use his "FREE marketing system" to generate insane conversions? My guess is that your answer is "no". MJ makes a lot of great claims. However, his FREE marketing system in The Affiliate Code just plain does not work.

He claims that when you use Blogger.com to create a blog about a product you are promoting, that your blog site will be indexed "within hours". He claimed that not only does this work to drive FREE traffic to your blog, and then to the offer on your site, but that it could also potentially get your website on the first page of Google in as few as 16 hours, which would then drive huge organic traffic to your site. Sounds like a great strategy, right?

Does it work? No. His "Free" traffic method doesn't work as he describes because Blogger.com has "NoFollow" links, which prevent Google and other SEs from following the Blog to your site. Therefore, no indexing of your site occurs. If you do a search for "blogger.com nofollow" you will see this.

Furthermore, after putting up several blogs for different products, with good content, I could not even find the blogs I posted by doing a Google search, even 6 days after I posted them. This semed pretty weird, because when I signed up for Blogger.com, I used my Google login information, which they requested.

Bottom line, and I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get there is that if the whole basis of MJ's last product turned out to be "misleading" at best, where is the PROOF that The Cash Code will be any better.

Let's face it, if any of us could make 10% or even 5% of the $106,235 supposedly made in 29 days, we would all jump on it. I hope that someone here can prove to all of us that The Cash Code works!

Just to answer Jim's question; the $100 I took as being offered by the coach out of his own pocket or on his account. However, I have been made to think that the $100 might come another way. The $100 will definitely be in the form of credits and not cash in hand.

I am now surprised and somewhat disappointed that this offer is being made on the back of such a criticized product or at least the owner of said product. It now makes me question the judgement of the coach in other ways.

What's up everyone? Just found a pretty useful review... but I couldn't paste the URL in here since I've only posted a few times. lol.

so here's the copied version... (hope this isn't out of line... let me know if it is)

BTW, his website is called Promoted Profits (dot com): Internet Marketing, News, Strategy, Reviews

You can probably just google search him and you'll find him... or type in Google, "the cash code honest review" and he's the first result. Be warned though... when you exit his site, it'll bring you to a sales page. You can leave it easy.

quote removed by mod. I think there are copyright issues.
It's not my website, and they're not loaded with hype. I honestly think for a review, they did a pretty good job.

I've decided after reading it, that this product isn't for me. I know a lot of this stuff already, and it's made something click inside me...

"I know the stuff... I just need to DO it."

              Wow.. how liberating.

        Ross

Ross, if you buy, make sure that you do your due diligence on this potentially new CPA network. There are some great networks out there. I would stick with the ones that have good ratings by other WF members.

Just as the CPA networks need to be very careful about who they allow to be affiliates, due to a huge amount of fraud, we as publishers / affiliates need to know who we are doing business with too. There is always the potential for them to be victims of fraud, but there are also some horror stories of affiliates who never made a penny on qualified leads they generated for the company.

Another concern is when you read the Terms Of Service for many of the CPA Networks, they are only responsible for paying YOU if they get paid from the advertiser. It would be a bummer to spend a few $$ thousand on PPC traffic, then have the CPA network tell you that none of your leads really converted, or that they never got paid from the advertiser. How could you prove it? You can't.

My advice would be to only work with networks endorsed multiple times by different WF members. In fact, I will start a new thread so that we can all share our experiences with the different networks, and know who to work with, and who to stay away from. To be continued....

          Hey All,

Well, to update my experience with The Cash Code, I still believe it would be a decent deal for a beginner. Remember, you can get it for 57 bucks. (just exit twice)
I would suggest however, that you totally rewrite some of the content, and re-do the supplied pages, so yours won't look like everyone else.

Also, I read the sales page for the breast cancer book, and I am very uneasy about suggesting an almost cure for breast cancer. At least that was how I read it. But then again, you can rewrite everything.

And, I will have to add this about any guru products you may buy. There is no magic button or secret. You do have to work and you do have to take action.

          There's my 2 cents.

          Good luck everyone.

Hi David, CPA networks are supposed to pay YOU. Did you mean to say that you will get a $100 bonus from a CPA network when you sign up, if you buy TCC? Or did you mean to say that you are getting a $100 credit to advertise your products from one of the advertising networks, such as Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, etc? If that's the case, you will find $100 credits given for Google Adwords when you sign up with many hosting companies.

I think I might buy the cash code as it sounds good for newbies like me and I found a pretty good site that lets you know exactly what is in each module. They have also put the fast fat loss package out there and will let us know what kind of results they get from ppc ads for it

Hey all! I just signed up @ the forums here, and this will officially be my "first" post. Please be gentle (don't light me up based upon my own naivety.)

I purchased The Cash Code yesterday, and I must say, it wasn't what I expected. Great sales letter! Sub-par product. I haven't made a cent online, but I haven't exactly tried either. Simply put, this is an ok beginner product. The information rides the line between becoming a vendor (not through clickbank, but on your own using PLR products) and actually becoming an affiliate marketer & promoting products through Clickbank, CJ, etc., The information is most likely mind-blowing to the right person, but it left me asking one question: "So, why would I want to get slapped around by Google, promoting a product slightly re-packaged using 3 pre-made templates/sales letters?" Long term? Nope. Not for me.

...I'm new here, but I wasn't born yesterday.

I do believe this has some real benefit if you dream of being a successful vendor. For example, it certainly points you in the right direction with opt-in lists, and it also provides the first 5 promotional emails for each 3 PLR products. (Something that really appeals to beginners, even though it mentions almost nothing of article marketing)...If you're thinking of becoming a vendor, you can see how good promotional emails are written, but you can do the same on your own by signing up for email lists of successful vendors @ Clickbank.

You really can get a nice-looking website up, but then again, so will every other beginner who has bought the product. I currently work at an Ad agency as a Copywriter, and although the sales page was well-written, all of the copy for the PLR websites and promotional emails were hastily set up. I wasn't impressed with the headline copy or the email copy. Even if this product is only good for "Modeling" the vendor process, I'd still use alternative vendor email list samples to set up my own product & marketing campaign.

If I were to create these websites, following the steps, it leaves out a few huge parts that a lot of beginners might not pick up on.

"How do I get traffic?" There's a nice insert about Twitter marketing & automation which can be helpful if you're not already promoting through Twitter, but one can't expect all of his/her website traffic to come from Twitter alone. Automation, yes. Will they convert to sales like the copy claims? Probably not.

"All I need to do is write 5 articles & fuhhh-gettaaa-bout-it" - A lot of people will be disappointed when their new product sites aren't getting any traffic, and they won't understand the complexities of article marketing, bum marketing, SEO etc., (Stuff they'll need to research on their own w/out the Cash Code)

"Affiliate marketing sections discusses SEO" - Look. If you're a beginner (to whom this product is obviously pitched to)...stay away from PPC. Your $ is already spent on the product, and now without the traffic, you might consider looking for other good traffic sources like PPC---and I know, you can throw away dollar after dollar when you first start.

How do I feel about everything? I think it's a great start if you are relatively new & haven't read forums for the last 4 years. This offers someone just enough to do something stupid. You can follow the process, and you can see his process, but at the same time, the advice just isn't solid enough to make a successful run. (At least I don't think so in the long term.) You can automate everything successfully, and you can follow everything w/ Aweber. Heck, you can even continue doing this process re-packaging PLR products until you hit 100 different websites. But, you still need to find a way to get TRAFFIC to your website. I don't care how good your email marketing is, an opt-in list isn't going to get you sales "hand over fist" with The Cash Code.

I think I've gone on too long, but since this is my first post, I really wanted to be thorough. I hope that I haven't offended anyone, and I hope it's not too biased. I look forward to contributing more on this forum. See y'all out there!

He keeps comming with rehashed stuff.

    The Adwords Code
    The Clickbank Code
    The Affiliate Code
    The Cash Code.

I'm pretty sure what's next. The List Code.

    Or maybe The Product Code.

Someone better register these domains before this guy comes up with another launch. I'm pretty sure he is going to launch a new product a couple months down the road.

Seems like the only legit way for these gurus to make thousands daily is to launch new products everyday.

That's just the way I feel.

How well did The Affiliate Code work for you? Are you too making $65,000 a month like MJ? Did you use Blogger.com to get massive traffic, massive sales and get on Google's first page in less than a day like MJ claimed? No? Ok, how about in a week? No? A month?

Fact is, TAC's whole premise was how to get massive traffic for FREE using Blogger.com to drive traffic to your website / affiliate offer. The other claimed benefit was that you would get HUGE organic traffic also, because Google would follow the link from Blogger to your site, then crawl it.

The problem is that Google does NOT follow the link to your site, because Blogger, like many other blog sites has NoFollow links. I can assume that you probably got close to zero traffic to your website using this "strategy", and based on my experience and others' feedback on WF, you probably got no traffic to your blog either.

I am really hoping you can provide some proof that you are successfully making money with any of the "Code" products. I think that's why we are all on this forum: to learn from the experiences of others, to share what we know that truly works.....and to get help separating the SCAMS from the true opportunities.

I bought the cash code out of curiosity, due to all the hype. If you are a newbie it does tell you pretty much step by step how to build a website in 2 hours. Does it live up to its claims or hype, not even close. There is nothing new here and I should have known for 57.00 I wasn't going to get anything new, but in all fairness if you are a total newbie it may be worth it, but it is a far cry from the actual claims.

I had a glimpse of the product and I definitely agree that its not anything special for more experienced folks out there. But for those who are just starting out.. there maybe something useful. However I think if you're looking for information, you can get a lot of it for free on this forum, or if you want to spend $50 on WSO's you can get a lot more.

I do agree that the promotion job on the Cash Code launch was done very well.

As for indexing the sites with Google fast discussion.. I use 2 things. XML Sitemap submission + a couple social bookmarks. Digg or Stumbleupon or alike. You can get your site indexed within 24 hours

bought it, looked at it, tons of spelling mistakes in the PLR products (which is what I bought it for), individual files very badly organised, overall too much hassle to make it work.

    instant refund request.

    hope this helps

Michael Jones' products were the 1st two products I ever bought when first getting into IM. And they were both the biggest waste of $ I've ever spent. Excellent copywriting, videos are well done, and a phenomenal sales job. And that is where it stops. I seriously (before I knew what I was doing), tried to put his systems together and never earned 1 penny from either one.
The first was the "Clickbank Code" and the second was the "Affiliate Code".

Now, in both of these products he pushes a hosting service called "Mattie Blaze Hosting". Come to find out, he is involved with MBH as well.

Soon after setting up a couple of sites at MBH, I started to get auto responder emails from a "Ken Walker" associated with MBH. When I watched the videos, there wasn't a person but a voice and Powerpoint presentation. The voice was none other than Michael Jones.

I thought I had opted out of his emails until I got one the other day. This time, there was a video with a person. That person was the face behind the voice of MJ and KW unless he put on a great con job.

Bottom line is Micheal Jones is Ken Walker and both are associated with Mattie Blaze Hosting. This person is the typical scam IM'er who pushes this big IM product that will not work and you won't make money. He does push that the products will earn you money really fast with not much work.
He pawned off developing a website in "Clickbank Code" and suggested you use Dreamweaver. I had no idea what DW was at the time. When I finally saw it, that was the big clue. You basically had to learn HTML and CSS and try to learn this awfully hard HTML/CSS editor to build a website.

My sincere advice is to stay away from any Michael Jones and Ken Walker product and look for the legitimate guys in the business who are "real". They do have products that work if you put the time and effort into it. Travis Sago is one person who comes to mind.

Sorry for the rant guys! That MJ character ticked me off pretty good back in the beginning.

Teez, it has been so long, I would have to go back and see the video. Now granted, there were a couple of techniques that worked to a point. But, when you put the whole package together, there were so many gaps in the process. Plus, MJ wasn't telling you the upfront truth. Such as, he would say something in such as way that you didn't think it was a big deal. I remember the part about building a website. MJ would say, oh there are many simple ways to build a website and Dreamweaver is one of those ways. Now we don't have time to go into learning DW in my videos but there are tutorials online to learn DW.

Man, when I saw DW the first time and what an advanced program it was, I was like.....ok, that's it...I'm done.

You can tell the real honest guys from the ones who aren't. The honest ones provide you realistic expectations with their material. And MJ (KW) wasn't one of them.

If you spend some time reading the other posts on this forum, you will have most of your questions answered.

      1) "Is it worth its price?"
---Read the above posts and decide for yourself

      2) "I wonder how will someone promote my product without jv's"
---If you read the above posts, you will learn that The Cash Code is not a JV product. You need to promote it yourself. It's YOUR product, and you need to find your own sources for driving traffic to it.

      3) "the guy in the video makes it sounds so easy"
---That's what Salespeople are supposed to do. MJ is an excellent marketer, and great with copy writing and video. Does it live up to its expectations? Read the post above and decide.

4)"but recruiting affiliates is not easy...Has many factors"
---I have not purchased The Cash Code, as I am waiting for a single person on this forum to tell me that they are making "real" money from this. However, I do not believe that your success with this depends on your recruiting any affiliates. The easiest place to find affiliates, when you are promoting your own product is on Clickbank itself. But certainly there are a lot of affiliates who bought The Cash Code on Clickbank that are already trying to do this. I do not think this is your key to success with The Cash Code.

    Hello,

I was tempted to buy this product, but, by reading the reviews, it looks like it is one of the many promises to become rich in a short time without much work.

I found many products like this which promise quick and easy cash, but I have just realised that you always need serious work and persistence to succeed on the Internet.

Well , i believe cash code is a really helpful product for beginners because it does what most of the products out there avoid to do..He explains how to build your business with step by step videos and 3 free PRL products to sell. You just have to copy and paste what hes showing you on the videos which is less than an hour work.

Hi guys I have a question on one of the techniques used on M.Jones affiliate code (I don't know if it will be in clickbank code aswell I'm thinking it most likely will be tho)

    It was a traffic generation in module 6 on Aff code in which M.Jones was building backlinks and traffic via ''wp mus'' aka word press multi users. I thought it was extremely good and I have a question on it ;

Say I have a blogger that ends in blogspot.com

    eg Teez.blogspot.com

and then custom domain it to teez.com via blogger

Then would I be right in thinking I can still use the traffic generation techniques in module 6 of the clickbank code where M.Jones uses ''wp Mu's'' to drive traffic to his blogger page.

Cos I understand he says don't ever do it for a .com but if its technically a blog which I just custom domained into a .com is that alright?

Or should I use the traffic generation whilst its still has the ''.blogspot.com'' and then after a couple of days when Im done building the site then customdomain it from teez.blogspot.com to teez.com

    Thanks guys

You know, I have to come in here and contest that a little bit.

Now I haven't bought the Cash Code so I can't speak from experience there but I did buy his last product "The Affiliate Code" and I feel like I gained a TON of value from that course. I learned a lot about SEO and link building from that course and I ended up making a lot of money from implementing the tactics I acquired there.

Maybe the Cash Code is different, I don't know, but I would be willing to give good ol MJ another shot to deliver some value.
