What do you mean like it used to. It is still the same; except for that beta test page they are testing. If you want to use the old tool then it is still there.

Yup - market samurai for me too. You get to keep the keyword tool even if you can't pay for the whole system (which I didn't want anyway)!

I have to admit I dislike Market Samurai. From my limited use of it, I find that much of its keyword data mismatches horribly with stuff such as Google, and I can't really trust the numbers it gives me. This is the best part of a year ago though so perhaps nowadays it's better?

Google Keyword tool is the best till now. May be there is no other free keyword tool as like google. May be google into search engines, so you can get some website list.

I agree - Google's own keyword tool is GREAT.
Even if you will use others, it's a good idea to
also use Google's own keyword tool. Remember,
    it's Google's,

Thanks for the link to the working version of the tool, it's a great help. I thought that the tool was lost forever.

I still have no good answer BUT I do like Market Samurai overall.

If I am doing PPC I like Keyword Blueprint.

If you have never used Traffic Travis it is pretty good for what it is

For fast, quick and dirty the wordtracker tool works well to get inanchor/intitle info quickly

I always seem to go back to google search tool and then to the wonder wheel to verify any results I get from any of the other tools. Go Figure.

the problem with market samurai is price, however I personally use always only google keyword tool because simply it is from the people who created the search engine itself so can someone convince me how they would be wrong about their tool, I mean they are the creator for SE and the tool so in my opinion they are the best who know how their tools are functioning so I trust them more.

It depends on what I need the keywords for.

If I'm getting keywords for an autoblog where I've already defined the niche, Keyword Snatcher by Jonathan Leger works great, as you are going for quantity of related keywords over exact match keywords in autoblogging.

If I'm looking for keywords to buy domains, to write articles or posts and as a tool for general niche research, then Micro Niche Finder or Market Samurai.

Google keyword tool is the best as the majority of these tools get their results from Big G. Paid tools put it in a format thats easier for you to work with. No tool s/b looked at no more than a guide in determining keywords.

Your brain is the best tool.
All these SW are mainly based in Google's external tool, which is clearly and purposedly not complete.
If you own a site with some traffic and watch the analytics you will clearly see that... You'll find hundreds of keywords that got people to your site, however, you will never get those keywords as a suggestion when searching on these tools.
But hey, we are humans... We need to believe those magic buttons exist, and we keep paying trying to find them...

I have a ton of keyword research tools and I still go back to google keyword tool. It's fast and easy to use.

Especially if we're talking free, google keyword tool is more than enough.
