How well does Unique Article Wizard work?

Does anyone use this software, and how have the results been?

Does Google get pissy when an article is submitted to that many directories at once or not?

Thanks

  • I use AUW on a daily basis and I get pretty good results.
For a regular submission I get around 50 backlinks after a few weeks (using yahoo site explorer to check).

It's a bit expensive though and I'm thinking about trying SEOLinkVine out to compare results...

    • As it stands today UAW is heads and shoulder ahead of the linkvine in terms of stuff getting published. I am using article ranks and the publication rate is very good compared to MAN or SEO linkvine. Try article ranks, it's only 39 a month.

  • I use UAW as part of my promotion strategy for all of my main sites. I hire workers to write content for it. It works great. Very happy. Check the blog in my sig for some details on how we use it.

    • I use DigiXmas, which works wondefully for me.
  • I think UAW has lost a lot of value. There are better alternatives out there.

    • Not a particularly helpful comment.

      - How has it lost value?
      - What are the alternatives you like and why?

UAW works for me. It's getting my sites ranked for the relevant keywords.
  • UAW does support spinning. I just put 3 of the same spin article in all 3 boxes and hope for the best. It should just have one box though.

I am just going through all of the article submitters to see which one actually works because I've heard good and bad about all of them.

I know first hand that seolinkvine has the potential to be very good because I am also on the free content publisher side and as soon as my articles came through, they got indexed within 1 minute, literally... because it's wordpress and google's new caffeine has ultra fast indexing. That was in regular search, not blogsearch.

My favourite to use is SEOlinkvine, the way the spinner works and the concept behind it are just awesome. Very user friendly too.

  • It all depends on how many articles you submit per month. If you submit just 2 or 3 artilces, you can find cheaper services here on this forum. However if you're doing 10 or more articles per month, the monthly fees are justified.

  • hjalte81: I can't imagine why you only get 50 links from an article? I get 700-1000 with every article. It's a fabulous service.

    • What do you use to check the no. of ingoing links?
  • Just to add to the whole "backlink" discussion I think we won't every really get an accurate count of backlinks. That said here is my process and guesswork:

    - Submit to category lists and use category descriptions that are ACCURATE.
    - You'll probably get articles submitted to 5-700 directories / blogs
    - Probably at least half will be accepted

So you should end up with a couple hundred links per article. The links on their own are not the only thing that matters though, guys.

    What else matters:
    - It is easy to create a thousand resource boxes that are all different
    - you can change anchor text in those resource boxes easily
    - You can have a bunch of titles that get used for your articles
    - You can have your own article submitted to your own blog, saving you a step.

I agree this service should be used MANY times per month, not just once per week.

  • just to update this thread - is anyone still using this? are there any better alternatives out there? love to hear some thoughts :-)
  • I am currently using UAW. i submitted 3-4 articles with drip feed and at the end i got around 200 submissions only. They say their network consists of 30,000 sites, and the reason why you get this low number of submissions is because you dont choose the approppriate keywords and categories.

Maybe i should change the niche i am trying to penetrate

However at the end of that month my site's ranking went to 60s from 90s.

I read some reviews about blog networks and Traffic Kaboom seems have a good portfolio. But the reviews were written around 1 year ago.

Has anyone heard from or had an experience with Traffic Kaboom recently?

    • One concern I have about UAW, especially post Penguin is that it submits multiple copies (post spun versions) to the same site, and for those publishers that don't pay attention and publish then all that is a huge risk and looks unnatural.

I know this happens because I am a publisher for UAW on several sites, and I get several copies of the same article in different variations from same author on same topic.

  • From my experience its working very well as long as i follow their guidelines and vary my anchor text/link diversity I have no issues

I too have multiple sites in the same niche(s) that are receiving content, used to have this issue sometimes with UAW but I hardly ever see this occur anymore not to mention they keep updating their services and such, been kinda bombarded with updates lately but thats ok, rather get more frequent updates than less. Heard some rumors on a uaw pro type service offering... anyone hear of this?
