adf.ly traffic does it convert?

adf.ly - let your links take flight I found this traffic source and was wondering if anybody knew if it converted? There's a review below

Super cheap like $1-$3 for 1000 views. but only let's you target by country so no demographics. Thought it might be good for listbuilding

Anybody use it and get conversions?

    Kind of an old post... but I've been messing around with this the last 2 days. I've had about 170 new subscribes from about 15,000 visits. No upsells though, so I don't think the traffic is that high quality. They're at least interested in product creation though... so who knows, they might end up being buyers after all.

        It converts, kinda. Theyre relatively low-engagement users, so anything that blocks them will have them bounce. My 2 step form got a decent number of conversions to step 1, but step 2 cause 80 or so % of people to bounce, wheareas normally only 20-30% of people fell out of the funnell.

        For me it wasnt worth it, however it was far more successful than stumbleupon traffic.

        The other problem is relatively static user base, you will get some people coming back several times if you broadcast for a continuous period.

    I tried 5000 visitors and only got 10 double opt-in subscribers. The other 30 are only single opt-in. It's not targeted at all. You get what you're paying for

      Hello,

      I have a campaign on there right now, well over a thousand eyballs but no conversions
      yet. It's been live 36 hours though and every offer doesn't convert, that's the point of
      testing traffic sources.

      You should seriously jump in and test it, because it's too cheap not to. The traffic
      is not that targeted but there are offers that convert almost anywhere.... think
      Amazon products, free trials, etc.

    In the past 3 days, I got 21,900 adf.ly views to my squeeze page here: My Quick Profit Formula

    only 243 subscribed - 1% conversion rate

    out of the 243 that subscribed, 360+ actually made it to my CB aff link (due to the link at the bottom of the squeeze page)

    no CB sales so far

    but I got 243 subscribers that are interested in making money online, and they only cost me 10 cents each... so I am pretty happy with that. I am sure they will convert eventually because I know they want to make money online... it's just a matter of sending them the right offer

    now I am tweaking my squeeze page to get higher conversions hopefully.

    Early in 2010 I purchased 5000 views and received about 100 opt-ins. No conversions to various products over 9 moths. Really a small sampling to make any final conclusions.

    I ordered 10,000 clicks and got about 150 optins but no OTO orders so my conclusion is that it's low quality traffic.

    I bought 2 campaigns with adfly recently just too see how well it would convert.

    One i purchased 12k visitors and I had about 30 optins Worldwide traffic

    The second campaign I used a different squeeze page and I only bought 7k and I had about 50 subscribers.

    I guess I know which squeeze page is converting better lol. It looks very promising some good cheap traffic.

    I agree, the traffic seems low quality and non-responsive. Of course I guess that is to be expected seeing how we are picking them out of thin air and not developing a relationship...

    Sending out emails to them and getting like a 1% open ratio! horrible... almost not worth my time unless I can find a way to connect with this list so they know who I am and read my emails LOL!!

      Sounds like the traffic you are getting are using trash emails and probably never even see the emails you are sending them. Makes me wonder if people aren't being paid to opt in...sorta like the "paid to read email" programs that are out there. To bad...adfly traffic really isn't any better than safe list traffic if that is the case.

      You must be really lucky. I make from Adsense barely the same amount it cost me to pay for the traffic. Tried it out and did get some hops but no sales.
