Blogging to the Bank PREMIUM BLOG Made For You

So I got this email on July 22 (5 days ago) about having the people over at Blogging to the Bank and Rob Benwell saying they would make you your own blog and you could make money in as little as 24-48 hours. It was only $24.95 a month so I thought no big deal to try it out the first month for that much and I can always cancel. I bought that day and have not heard a word from them since. Last thing I got was an email asking me certain questions about my blog and the domain name I would like for them to buy. I've been checking everyday and they haven't even bought the domain name yet. Nothing has been done at all. I've emailed them, got no replies from them at all. Wow. I guess they're swamped because they're number 1 in Clickbank right now. Has anybody heard anything from these guys or gotten a blog from them?

I also purchased the blog setup and heard nothing for 4 days. Then found support link and submitted a ticket. Also received the questions regarding domain, cb id, etc. Heard nothing, but kept getting sales letters for numerous other products. Finally gave up and went directly to Clickbank for a refund. Not a word from the blog setup people.
A friend did exact same thing and had exact same outcome. It appears if you don't take the upsell you are ignored. I should have known better because exact same thing happened with BTTB2010 coaching program. Absolutely no response for over a week, then after several dips into the support site, I received an email that said to read the BTTB2010 book to be ready, which of course I had already studied. So after several more days without coaching contact, I again requested and received refund from clickbank.

My biggest concern is getting a reputation from clickbank for refunding. So, of course, no more Benwell products for me. Maybe they are overwhelmed, but I know I did order my blog setup before it went public for affiliate promotions.

Just a note to say, although BTTB2010 is not totally detailed with how to info, the concepts are great.

lrl, do you know anybody that took the $350 upsell? I would be interested to know what the process is and how fast they set them up. I would consider it if everything worked fine but to put down an investment that much I gotta see something. Which I haven't yet. If you're going to upsell at least show potential with the initial product that we ALREADY bought.

I did get a response back to the ticket I submitted and this is what they said:

      Hello

If you have taken up the Premium Blog offer and are waiting for details of your blog then please accept our apologies as we are experiencing some technical issues with our new server and there will be a slight delay in setting up your blog.

Firstly.....please make sure you sent your blog requirements to this address:

      blogsetup@bloggingtothebank.com

and NOT this support desk as we do not handle the blog set up at this support desk.

In the meantime while you are waiting for your blog details, please download a copy of Blogging To The Bank 2010 from this link:

And start to familiarise yourself with the traffic generation and backlinking techniques explained in the manual as this will come in useful when you need to start generating traffic to your blog.

      Thanks for your patience

      BTTB Team

So the issue is technical issues with their new server. Yea right, we'll see. They could have let me know that before through email or at least bought my domain name already. And lrl as you see they said the same thing about studying the book first...

They emailed me back and this is what they said:

        Hello

First of all we would like to apologise for the delay in response.

If you have sent your information regarding your blog there could be delays of up to a week or more while we sort through the orders.

We will be working on first come first served basis.

Unfortunately this email address is not a support desk it is to get the blog information to the team, if you have sent any questions/queries to this address I'm afraid they will not be replied to.

If you have any questions please direct them to the support desk below who will try to help you:

      Peter,

it's costs them nothing to send you a digitial download of a book. I wouldn't let that be a reason for not refunding. You paid for a service, a blog to be created, right? You didn't get what you paid for, period.

      Regards,

      Dave

Ron also has a hosting product that is just as discombobulated. You buy the domain name and get the hosting and you never get the information to get into your hosting account set up. I think that sometimes success can cause some overwhelming consequences. Nothing intentional just unable to meet the demand.

Perhaps the refunds will jolt someone to take action and satisfy the customers's request in a timely and efficient manner.

I have had the same issue. Two emails and a support ticket with no replies.

It is starting to get a bit unnerving with internet marketing products that I have purchased recently. I can only say BUYER BEWARE.

I have been involved in IM for 5 years now and have been very disappointed with some of the products that are being promoted by very will know marketers which have failed to deliver.

The Warrior Forum should be a good place to start before purchasing any IM products by doing a search on the product name to get any feedback before buying.

Guys just be careful as I think this is not the end of bad products/support etc.

I'm in the same boat, ordered over 2 weeks ago and no response to emails. When I open a ticket at support desk, I get the same automated message everytime.

Today I even had an email from him marketing the same premium blog that I have ordered and am still waiting for.... I actually laughed out loud!

I will not buy another product from this guy ever again. I despise bad customer service.

Rob, if you happen to read this; look after your customers!

The same with me, no replies and still no product!

I ordered this on the 30/07/10.

No replies to emails, so I have just requested a refund from Clickbank.

Same thing happened to me, After having no response from the BTB team I asked for a refund before re-bill time (I haven't any intention to pay $27 monthly for a product that didn't receive on a reasonable time).

I can't believe what I am reading here... You're supposed to be warriors not pigeons. I am sorry to come out so harsh. Unless I am missing something here I take it non of you know how to set up your blog which is free. All you need is a hosting plan. Most of them have fantastico in their cpanels which can install WP for you. learning how to do this is essential to IM.

Other essentials are Keyword research for finding the niche and A good marketing plan.

Don't get me wrong I do believe in out sourcing, but this not how to go about it.

I am glad I am not alone, I am still waiting after two weeks,
I also got a not from support after putting in a ticket telling me about delay, but I bought a domain name as they asked at godaddy and sent back with all other
details. So I guess I should now ask for a refund if all you guys are.

Thank you for this thread as I thought I was the only one.

guess I'm not alone..but I don't like being in company that's full of misery re" this benwell product.

I normally or usually check out WF or imreport before anything.

Don't know why I didn't and went on impulse with this,.

Anyway emailed them a number of times ..and no answer.

Went to the site and found support at the bottom.. sent in 2 tickets.

First was marked "urgent" and inquired into progress and received a reply that basically spoke of a backlog.

My second was certified "critical" and requested a status/progress report along with a timetable -- I did emphasize my intention to refund my order depending on their response.

I received the ff reply to my second ticket(to their credit, they pointed the way for ACB refund in great detail):

      Hello

Apologies but we are unable to make any estimates on when blogs will be ready due to the huge workload we have.

If you do not wish to wait any longer and would rather have a refund please follow instructions below

      TO CLAIM YOUR REFUND

If you wish to claim a refund you can do so by contacting clickbanks support system.

They can be contacted by either following the link from within your ClickBank receipt under the heading: CUSTOMER SERVICE

      OR

      Simply follow the link below:

      http://www.clickbank.comxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

To make a claim, make sure you have your ClickBank receipt number handy (this will made up of 8 characters including letters and numbers) your card details or the email address you purchased with to make a claim.

Input the details and then click on the green 'submit' button.

On the next page, click on the left hand graphic of a person and a question mark in a speech bubble which says 'Click Here To Get Support'.

From here you can choose a range of options from the drop down menu entitled 'What problem are you having?'

If the option you need isn't present then click on 'more options' and you are given a choice of more options including refunds.

Tick the 'Refund Request' option and leave a reason if you wish to.

We would also like to point out that the refund period only lasts for 60 days from date of purchase.

Hi. Glad I visited here. Bought this system. My experience same in every way.

Canceled the recurring payment today and requested refund from CB. This is my 2nd bad experience with Mr Benwell.

As they say -"block and avoid".

I asked for a refund Today and canceled my monthly subscription.
What I don't understand is on the video Rob says twice that the blog will be set up within 48 hours and that he is only offering this to 50 people because of the work involved.

Well with all of us canceling I guess they will not have too much work on now and those that chose to wait will not have to wait so long.
