What web hosting do you use?

I need the works, 'unlimited' bandwidth, diskspace, and preferably emails (or at least 10).

I'm close to purchasing iPage hosting (iPage | Web Hosting, Unix Hosting, E-Mail, Web Design), but it's running me up to $64/year. Which isn't terrible, and it's the cheapest I've found so far.

Other requirements I need is they have to support Zend Optimization and PDO Mysql.

Hope this is the right section

Not sure if is of any help, but I use HostMonster and have had superb service from them. They even fixed a virus that was in one of my blogs for me which is not part of the deal and it's only 5.95 a month as a special on right now.
    Here's what they give you:
UNLIMITED Site Bandwidth Host UNLIMITED Domains Unlimited Pop/Imap Email Accounts SSH Access (Secure Shell) SSL, FTP, Stats CGI, Ruby (RoR), Perl, PHP, MYSQL Front Page Extensions Free Domain Forever Free Site Builder Best Support in the Industry

Unlimited doesn't mean Unlimited in any sense, if you start running up high band and high disk they will tell you they cannot support you etc (I've heard stories), plus there overselling you on there server (you don't know how much space they think you'll use), it's always best to get a fixed one, so you know how much they have assigned to you.

That's just the way I look at it, a lot of people will look at it another way. There are many hosts out there, just google for horror stories first, because you never want to choose a bad host.

Yeah, I've heard the same, which is why I quoted 'unlimited' bandwidth .

      I'll check Hostmonster out.

There nothing called unlimited , if you think so , check out terms and condition of your web hosts, the limit on inodes are equal to disk space and processing is equal to traffic and resource usage.

Nothing is unlimited, not in life, not in marriage and certainly not in hosting. Unlimited is when you are dead.

I use HostGator and Justhost among others, but whichever provider you select, make sure that they have fast and immediately available upgrades, to allow for your business expansion, without the hastle of your website(s) being shut down, albeit temporarily.

The latter criteria also applies if you have VPS or a dedicated server.

      Just my thoughts,

      Jeff.

I agree with Jeff. I had an unlimited host (Dreamhost) and it was nothing but problems for me. Same with every other cheap hosting company I've ever tried.

I have a couple hosting companies I use, but the two I recommend most often are Lunarpages and LiquidWeb.

LiquidWeb is awesome... I think the longest it's ever taken me to get a tech support reply is 15 minutes. In the 2+ years I've been using them, there hasn't been a single website-related problem, including trojan attacks, that they haven't fixed for me within 24 hours.

They're not the cheapest but they're the best. I sleep like a baby at night knowing that their advertised 100% uptime is the truth. Besides my Aweber account, it's the best decision I make for my online business every month.

Check webhostingtalk.com for promo coupons for whatever hosting company you decide to go with. That's how I got a sweet deal on a VPS account with LiquidWeb.

        Take care,

        Mike

The other choice is uing the coupon code “hostgatorcoupon1”, You will only pay $0.01 for the first month.

When I chose my hosting, I researched potential hosting providers in Web Hosting Talk - The largest, most influential web hosting community on the Internet web hosting forum.

Believe it or not, but almost all major hosting companies had tons of bad reviews about their services. One company that everyone seemed to be satisfied with was Stablehost, so that's the hosting I chose. Here's the thread on Stablehost in that forum. So far I've been very satisfied with them.

You can get 50% off for life if you use code WHTUS, so their offer is really good, I'm paying only $3 a month.
