(ex: Salespage > Registration page > Access) The only way you can get to access page is if the "MEMBER" is "REDIRECTED" to the Access page, OTHERWISE, the "NON-MEMBER" is automatically re-directed back to the Sales page.

A bit complicated, but, I try to think of it without content.

2) The customers information gets deleted from the database after 24 hours (not intentially).

Take a look at "LENGTH OF SUBSCRIPTION" for your Membership Levels. If that box is clicked, it means there membership expired for that period of time. Not sure if this is particularly your problem however. It could be some other conflict. Also, take a look at your Sequential Upgrade.

3) IPN issues with paypal. Then they manually have to make the person an account or cancel them
There are very specific steps between PayPal & the WL Plugin. It could be a number of issues -- Have you done any sample testing? How many customers has this happened too?

My first guess would be either: 1.) You probably have multiple levels & didn't set the proper Subcription ID to the correct product selection. 2.) Not having multiple pages for the specific Level section. I think that if a person selects a certain level, you must have a different page or different button for each level. You may have some conflicts.

Overall, these are my best guesses based on my knowledge of the plugin, and without seeing your specific site & not seeing the specific issues first hand.

But overall, I'm sure of the 1st one. Overall, you probably won't get much help from their Support team. I'm really pissed about their Support staff.

I provided a simple detailed explanation on what I needed on Monday, even providing exactly what I was going to do, but needed there help -- and today is Saturday, and I have absolutely gotten nowhere with the incompetent responses & lack of actually reading my issues -- they simply regurgitated what I wrote to them. Yeah, they turned around a response in about every 35 hours, however, I don't think there support staff is really analyzing a request & actually putting in effort to solve problems. I really hope Stu McClaren jumps down there throats cause, I can definitely see support going down the tubes -- and if they are getting paid......that's a VERY big problem.

By the way, I was ping-ponged between two support reps who couldn't provide any support!!

The first issue was the only one I found across all three people I spoke with so far. But the second two really concern me if other people are having these problems. Plus 2 of the people said they weren't able to get any response for support for 45 days so far.

Basically would be a deal-breaker.

Any input on this?

Overall, I do have some deep concerns, as it's not as quick to setup as people thinks -- especially if you want to do it correctly, and especially if you are not a programmer. But I have been trying to speed up my process by setting it up without content & think of things page by page.

Hope this provides you a bit of insight on your issues.

I have experienced #1 & #3, too. Like every other customer was NOT redirected and I had to create an account manually (!?).

I'll try what Darrin said and see if that works. :-)

I use WishList Member with WordPress. When I upgraded to 3.0 it deleted me as the admin and I couldn't login. I informed support and they responded within about 2 hours and they helped me fix the problem.

I also had the problem that I had to register my customers manually after they made a ClickBank purchase. Again, I contacted Customer Service and they looked at my account and found that one of the plugins I was using was causing the problem. I removed the plugin and everything worked fine.

So the bottom line is that customer service was very fast to respond and helpful in my situation. There have also been about 3 or 4 updates to the WishList software since 3.0 came out and I think that has solved just about all of the problems.

If customer support was slow to respond right after the upgrade it's probably because they were swamped with customer problems right after the upgrade. During this time I'm sure they were also scrambling to make the software completely compatible with 3.0.

1. What was the plugin that was causing the conflicts on your site that was removed?

2. What was the specific solution that fixed the problem when upgrading so that you won't get deleted as admin again?

Darrin,

The plugin that was causing the problem was "DB Cache Reloaded". After deleting it members who joined by ClickBank were able to see the registration page after purchasing.

After customer support helped me fix my database to make me the Admin again I was able to login to my WordPress dashboard and upgrade to the latest version of WishList member. This alone, fixed the admin problem.

I think most of the problems that people were having were solved by the several updates that were made to WLM.

  I am having problems with WLM not registering all of my customers.
  
  I have 3 CB accounts using the same WLM website with different membership levels for the different CB accounts.
  
  Two out of the three work fine but one CB account occasionally has problems - the customer does not get to register ... instead gets redirected to the home (sales) page.
  
  This doesn't happen with every sale from this account but it is always this account that it happens to.
  
  The problem just got handed off to the developer, Andy.

  Just wanted to chime in here. If you're using Db Cache Reloaded it's probably because it's a BAD ASS plugin that will make ANY WP site way FASTER!!!!!
  
  However, because of the way Wishlist Member is developed you'll need to use Wrapper Mode and you should be set.
  
  I spent 5 hours today figuring this out.

I am also having problems with Wishlist.

I am confused about why when non members try and view members only material, they are shown a registration form.. After filling it, the customer is not redirected through to PayPal.

I am going to be contacting WL soon and hopefully sort this out. I have heard good things about Support so I hope this can be resolved shortly. Membership plugins are giving me the sh*ts.

I use WLM and WP 3.0.1.

The only problem I've had is that, after someone registers, they (on occasion) will not be able to see certain pages 'behind' the login area.

So if one of my pages is called "Videos", they can see 1 or 2 of the videos, but not all of them.

Also, on occasion, I need to reset someone's password even though they use the lost password option.

However, every single time I have ever had an issue with WLM, their staff has been quick, supportive, and courteous in helping me get resolution. I absolutely love those guys and can't imagine using any other membership plugin!

This might be a limitation of your video plugin. Some video plugins can't show more than 1 video on a page unless you change each video's DIV ID when pasting the video embed code.

So far my WLM sites are ok. I had the WP 3.0 migration bug but it was fixed quickly.
My recent problem was my own fault...support helped me out quickly. And the community at Zendesk is a huge help.
