Kudos to Dennis Becker.

I've had his ebook on my hard drive for
years and finally read it.

(5 Bucks a Day)

Truth be told, the more money I've made
from IM the more bored I've become.

How bored?

We just bought a damned farm! bored.

I'd rather be outside digging holes to plant
fruit trees in.

Dennis' book brought me back to what
I originally loved about IM - doing the
small project that might lead to making
$5 per day . . . or $60 . . . or nothing.

I was always working on something new
and interesting.

As the projects have become bigger,
I've become less happy. My income has
become more volatile. My edge has grown
a little dull.

And now? Now I know why. The last
10 days I've been doing what I used to do
everyday and having a really good time.

And who knows . . . maybe I'll make a buck
or two while I'm at it.

So I just want to publicly thank Dennis (who
I don't know), recommend his book, and
speak from experience that you can indeed
build a six-figure income by consistently
producing projects with the goal they produce
just $5 per day.

X

    Hi X,

Thankyou for sharing your experience. I've been chewing this one over as a 'hobby' for some time and trying to find some definitive truth.

Money is important, but so are other things. Lose sight of either or the general balance and you have to go back to the drawing board, because it just doesn't work.

Two sides of the same coin -

    Farm

    Money

    Two quick thoughts.

    1. It's all about balance. Sounds like you're doing the right thing.

    2. Dennis' stuff is great. Not only does he know his stuff, but he's also very generous. Thanks Dennis.

    All the best,
    Michael

The small projects are kind of like gambling - except that unlike the larger projects, your mortgage isn't on the line.

Your OP is exactly why I keep doing small niche stuff in addition to my consulting. It's like a hobby that pays.

I think the capacity for lots of small, reliable earner projects to add up to a healthy income would surprise a lot of people!

It's Dennis Becker, which may help your research. He's having a special sale this weekend for his 65th birthday, which is a great opportunity to pick up several of his products dirt cheap; I'd give you an affiliate link, but I sort of can't. Forum rules, you know.

I did just cut a video on YouTube about that special, though.

while it is not possible to read every ebook we come across but it is good if we can identify a MUST read book.

My boss in the bank where i formerly work, have had "Awakening the Giant" for close to four years and have never taken the time to read the back page.

One day, when we was on annual vacation and was practically getting bored, he started ransacking the for something to read just to while away the time and he stumbled across "Awakening the Giant".

To cut the story short, when he resumed office and called for a meeting, he told us that he would have been a "human being" if he had read the book long ago.

You can imagine X if you have read this book long ago.

I'll never forget, George. That report was gold in the right hands, I'm surprised that others got credit for starting the offline marketing craze. And your report was fun to read, to boot.

5 Bucks A Day is a must read. If you are all over the place and having trouble sticking with a project until it it is finished you really owe it to yourself to give this book a read. If you pay attention it really can open your eyes.

Dennis, I was amazed at everything that came with the guide. You have put a lot a work into this. Some really great advice. $5 bucks a day defiantly hits home to the main issue that has held me back.
