Well, obviously this guy is a very good marketer. When i saw the price was $39 I knew it was loaded with upsells and sidesells and what not! Obviously, he wanted as many people as possible to buy the main product for the $39 which is great value for the money. This is the hook to get lots of eyeballs to see all the upsells where the real money is made. Hope everyone sees that! or am I the only one? Hope not!

I also purchased it along with a few friends of mine off my facebook page. So far after reviewing it for the few hours I have had it seems quite informative and genuine. Unfortunately I am at work so I haven't implemented any of the techniques yet but most certainly will soon.

The only thing I don't care for is the many upsells once you purchase. It would be fantastic to be able to buy a course or product that you don't need to purchase upsells to unlock this or get more info on that. You know what I mean?

This marketers products are definitely genuine though.

I just read a few accounts off of google including the table of contents for CPA Instruments...

Basically it doesn't look like anything new for CPA. Plus his last offering Profit Instruments received reviews that suggested it was a rip off product. I can only suggest that I would expect more of the same. I would like to be wrong... But reputation is key here.

    Speaking of reputation...

If you're new to CPA or want to learn about CPA, I can't recommend fellow Warrior Kenster's WSO, Rags to Riches high enough. Excellent introduction and a genuine offering at a fraction of the price and zero demeaning page after page of upsells...

I purchased this because I don't know anything about CPA. I do know quite a bit about building websites and affiliate marketing though. For a newbie, this is great step by step stuff. For someone a bit more experienced, some of the module videos are boring to watch.

Just bought it. Three upsells: OTO #1 membership @ $57 per month for 7 free traffic videos plus new videos techniques/testing results every month. OTO #2 for wordpress plug-in to streamline landing page creation process, plus landing page templates @ $197, OTO #3 coaching videos @ $297. Frankly, I am put off by all these upsells and cross sells and downsells. If the prices were more reasonable, I would have considered the OTO's, but without knowing how good the material is and also with the somewhat negative rap his last product, Profit Instruments received, I figure $37 for the basic course isn't much to lose, if it turns out to be a bogus product.

I bought CPA Instruments based on the experience I had with PI Instrument. I haven't yet started the process but if the information is as detailed and easy to understand and the videos as complete and well done as the info in PI Instrument, then I can't lose.

I'm not a techno whiz and consider myself, maybe, an intermediate marketer but I know a whole lot more after working in PI Instrument than I did before. Now I just delete emails pitching seo and and backlink info cuz I got it in PI Instruments.

I will post again once I start using CPA Instrument.

Upsells are fine as long as they offer something that shouldn't reasonably be expected in the main product.

For example, an upsell of a membership that provides a forum would be helpful, or an opportunity to easily outsource some of the work involved might be valuable.

But if the main product promises a solution to our "problem", and then we find out that the solution isn't complete without the extras, that's different.

To use a very poor example off the top of my head, it's a little like buying a car and then being told that we can't drive it faster than 30 mph (or 50 kph, if you prefer) without buying one little extra engine part.

    Fortunately not everyone does that.

I'm interested in this product itself, not the extras. Can anyone offer any more information about it?

All guru's products are mostly filled with same basic info...

The seller of CPA inst. says he lives in India, yet his name is Ritoban C. and the way he speaks English looks perfectly American to me... Just a selling trick or is he really from India? ... (Though I am from India lol)

Yeah, thats what I was thinking... One thing which is common in all guru's products are long videos, instead of making long videos, he can make one solid ebook having one solid method/way to make money...

But they can't do that because it is a tradition to make long videos and fill them with basic stuff and then sell them at $xx and make $xxx, xxxx and get famous by selling them and become a guru if you are not already and in next product they will teach how they made $xxx, xxxx and so on....

Do you know why product creators can't do that?

Because if they simply made a product with the method, they would have 1,000 emails, hundreds of support requests, and floods of people on forums saying that they didn't include all of the steps, and that it isn't newbie friendly.

As a product creator myself, I can flat out tell you that making videos and screen shots of how to install wordpress each time we put together a product, or showing how to use FTP over and over again isn't my cup of tea...but, the majority of the market for the most part demands that you include the smallest minute details possible.

As for the product itself here...

If you have experience with CPA, and are making money with the networks, you likely won't learn a whole lot from the course.

          BUT

If you are just getting involved with CPA and consider yourself a "newbie" you would probably benefit quite a bit by going through the material.

The information it contained wasn't anything new to me, but the way that it is laid out, and the way that the information is presented is REALLY GOOD.

Disclosure: I am not now nor have I ever been nor will I ever be an affiliate for CPA Instruments. I don't know the product creator, or anyone associated with the program in any capacity.

I created my first real campaign with multiple paid traffic sources about 2 weeks ago. I used a educational offer from SmartEOffers.com. I used a PPV network and spent $25, POF for $25, and Google Adwords using a Free $75 voucher. I know there's money to be made with this but traffic seems to be my biggest problem. I ended up with $67.50 in revenue. I didn't really track to well even though I used Tracking 202 after I ran the campaign(Bad choice) and decided to put more money into the traffic source that I thought was converting(explained in next sentence). Being that I thought that the PPV network I used is what sent me the leads, I spent an additional $25 on that PPV traffic source and didn't get ANY results! POF sucked and only allowed one banner size which was a 110x80(Terrible) and they kept rejecting my ads so I gave up on them even though they were just fine. So it seems to be google adwords that sent me my leads. I got 1,499 clicks and 15 conversions using all traffic sources. And I'm thinking those conversions came from google adwords even though most of the clicks came from the PPV traffic source. The only bad thing is that my cpc was high though. The offer only paid out $4.50 per conversion which is why I didn't make a lot of money.

PPV Traffic Source: Adon Network(Got tons of impressions and clicks but maybe little to no conversions)
POF: Plenty of Fish( Crazy Demographics but hardly and impressions and no clicks)
Google Adwords: Spent $75-$80 Google Voucher(Would have made more if I had picked an offer with a higher payout)

I have been using different PPV traffic networks and I'm starting to weed out the ones that don't work using my own money and looking at reviews of the networks. I'm doing this with other traffic sources as well.

SO THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE WITH CPA AFTER MONTHS OF TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT. I"M GOING TO TRY TO KEEP AT IT TO GET SOME RESULTS. BY THE WAY, I DID ALL OF THIS WITHOUT THE CPA INSTRUMENTS COURSE. I'M THINKING ABOUT BUYING IT BUT I'M SKEPTICAL. IF IT'S FOCUSED TOWARDS NEWBIES THEN IT'S PROBABLY NOT FOR ME.

You see i started promoting it in my signature. But this is an honest review.I bought this product.I haven't implemented yet the methods described there but from what i ve seen so far, i think that is money well spent.

Yes -- but you can't post in a review thread if you're blatantly promoting the product being reviewed. You can temporarily remove your sig by looking at "Additional Options" below the message window and unchecking "Show your signature."

Also, it's against the forum rules to have a direct affiliate link to the product site. You can have a link to one of your own sites which contains an affiliate link, though. So I'd change or remove your sig before someone else does it for you.

Awesome...I just purchased the course to see if there is anything else I can add to my CPA arsenal after seeing the feedback here. Will write a review as well after I get time to look it over!

Sumaryan85 - I've been doing CPA for a while and I can tell you that similar to other directions one can take under the internet marketing umbrella, CPA requires a a boatload of action. My personal biggest "break" was realizing that CPA is about taking action on every idea I had, no matter how crazy, how stupid, and how left field the idea was. Most of these ideas will be miserable failures but CPA is about finding that one little gem that works. Then you take that gem and scale it into a massive diamond and thats how CPA millionaires are born. All about ACTION.

Also, you need to break out of the mold and be a little creative.

So, like I said, I havent looked over the product yet, but make sure you aren't relying on this or any other product to "make you money". Use the guide to "help you make money" but its you that is actually making the money. A subtle difference that separates the winners from losers in this game!

Excited to delve in and will write a review upon completion!

Here are my two problems with this.

    1. These are the people he was in bed with on his last launch:

    Anik Singal
    Michael Rasmussen
    Mike Filsaime
    Erica Douglass
    Chris Carpenter
    Mark Ling
    Matt Callen
    Ewen Chia
    Daniel Tan
    Clayne Keegan
    Saj P
    Russell Brunson
    Matthew Carter
    Stephen Pierce
    Eric Rockefeller
    Alok Jain
    Andre Chaperon
    Rob Selaney
    Matt Bacack
    Keith Wellman

    Standard "guru" list, right?

    2. He talks all about how EASY this is. There are ONLY FOUR STEPS! But this is the product photo:

    http://cpainstruments.com/sales/images/collage.png

WTF? It takes 8 modules to teach me FOUR steps? BS!

    3. Bonus problem...

His "most recent" stats, for the month of August, are only $330/day, not $700.

My opinion is that there is better information available for free here and elsewhere.

This isn't really as bad a product as a couple people have suggested, it's just that it has a specific audience that is perhaps a bit more novice than many of the people who've commented so far.

It's really for people who are newbies in both CPA and Internet Marketing as a whole. There are a lot of videos that address many of the basic CPA and non-CPA areas that plague beginning IM'ers along with accompanying PDFs and assignments and so on.

With quite a lot of basic information, presented in an organized fashion, I can see it as just the thing for inexperienced marketers.

I don't have the previous product, Profit Instruments, but I suspect this program draws heavily upon it. There are several clues which make me think that some of the videos may have originally been part of that package. For one thing, Ritoban refers to example sites as www (dot) yourpisite (dot) com, and the videos are in varying formats, flv, wmv, and MP4. I don't definitely know that this is the case, of course, but it appears to be so.

A small but irritating problem is that the audio on the videos isn't uniform. It changes in volume periodically which, I assume, is a result of editing problems.

For those who might have a problem understanding Ritoban with his accent, there are several videos with descriptive captions. His accent isn't really that heavy but the captions are a nice touch and shows some desire to present a complete product. And anyway, the PDFs are pretty complete.

There are actually nine modules plus a couple of extras such as an included CPA WordPress theme.

In short, even though CPA Instruments may not be for everyone (what is?), there are many who could benefit from it.

    I bought CPA instruments.

About me: I have moderate general internet marketing experience, haven't done any CPA before. So compared to some of the folks here, you can just call me a newbie

As far as the product goes, it is organized pretty well and the CPA portion I think has a lot of good detail, stuff I didn't know.

He talks about his experience with different CPA companies, which ones to apply to first and easiest to get into before you go higher up the CPA food chain. He also talked about the different CPA offer types, and which technique works best for each CPA offer type. I thought that was all good info.

What I thought could have been done better: The videos themselves while having good info could have been done better. The pdf transcripts also could have been done better. For example he basically is talking and as he's talking he's typing in notepad what he's saying. Other times he has a google page open and he's typing what he's saying in the search box. The pdfs almost look like someone just typed out what he said, it's not organized well like some of the ebooks I've seen.

That's really just cosmetics though and I was more amused then upset by it.

That being said, I still got a lot out of the CPA info, mostly because I'm new to CPA - but I have seen some CPA ebooks here on Warrior Forum and War Room and from various opt-in pages. And I think the CPA Instruments producted added quite a good bit of info for me and I don't think I'll need to look at any other CPA product for awhile. I think what I learned was worth the $37 (or whatever it was that I paid). I continue to listen to the videos (yes listen, not watch) while I'm in the car or on the train and it is good info.

Right now I'm in the middle of some other projects but when those are done I plan to use this for a project and I'll let you know how it goes.

  • It's not a bad course, but after going through it I didn't feel I'd learned anything new (though I'm not at all a newbie). So, though most newbies and slightly more advanced people could learn from it, they won't likely come away feeling that they've found everything that they were hoping, based on the sales copy. With a little effort a person could go through this forum and get at least as much information from the cheap (or free) offers.
