I purchased earlier, but it's not recognizing my login info, so I can't access anything. I'm sure it will get sorted out eventually. We'll see how it works out then.

After purchasing though, it seems that Alex was lying about his software. See, on the sales page, he tells you that he contacted a competitor who kept beating him in the rankings, and found out the kid was doing it using this software. So, they team up, and Alex shows you all these rankings he is getting using his software. Then, after you buy, you are taken to an upsell where he tells you he contacted(I assume) this same guy, and the guy tells him he is getting all these rankings by using a secret method that he outsources for $500.00 a month. Then Alex goes on to show you mostly the same examples from page one, and claims this other secret method is how he really gets those rankings.

So, which is it, Alex? Are you getting the rankings using your software, or are you getting them using the "secret" method in the upsell? It can't be both.

Just to update, I can access it now. Checked it about an hour later, and the login was working fine.

It seems like a similar version to EVO II but it is my understanding that these link wheels it creates is frowned upon by google and doens't work as well as it used too.

As he mentions that the name of the kid is Maulana and that he is from Indonesia, this is either a white label or a rebranding of Link Builder Pro, which indeed was renamed to RankBuilder with the last update.

Alex Goad Rank Builder is simply a rebranding they did to Link Builder Pro.

Simple as that.

I personally don't know much about link builder pro but I thought you should know this is the same tool.

I've heard a lot of good things about LBP, and I don't really care if this is a rebranding. I just want to know if it works. Right now I'm using Article Marketing Automation (AMA) for $47 a month and Linkvana for $147 a month. If this really works, it would do more than both of these for about 1/3 the cost.

Thats true Lsamarketer, you would save quite a bit for usre. What I want to know is do linkwheeling strategies still work after googles "Mayday" update or since caffeine rolled out?

I have heard and obviously I don't believe everything I read, is that google now frowns upon linkwheeling as we used to do it.

I jumped in as well and am going to give it a shot. What has me a little ticked is that I just found out I only have 1 license (1 computer). Generally it's 2 and I wanted to hand this over to one of my outsourcers to learn and implement. That means I'd have to uninstall my copy.

Trish, I bet if you sent them an email telling them what you are going to do by means of using an outsourcer they might be able to let you do that. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I already received 2 emails from a couple of well known Warriors who I subscribe to pushing this product and talking about how great it is. Funny they don't mention the fact it is LBP just re-branded. I'm sure they well know it is LBP.

Everyone is so quick to wanna make a buck of you now a days it's getting a little ridiculous!

I'm new to SENuke and have watched the videos and all but have been a bit frustrated with it. A lot of failures, sometimes when you submit (especially to videonuke) you really can't tell how to link. Some sites accept BB Code, others HTML, some only hard links and found a few nofollow.

Also seems the sites they use have been cracking down. Not sure if I will renew past the trial period. Wonder if this revamped software might be better as well. Real reviews would be appreciated! Just tired of getting the review with affiliate link via email from people who might not have even used it.

Thank you all for you're comments. I am easily swayed and often jump on this stuff because the sales pitches are sooooo good. I now always come here to check out products first. I also now have a personal policy of never buying a product with an upsell afterwards. If the product is as great as the hyped sales letter says it is. Give it to me straight. If it works as advertised, send me an upsell 1 or 2 weeks later when I will be ecstatic to further my business ties with you. Thank you all for cutting through the hype.

i'm gonna jump in and test it during the trial. if it does half of what they say it can do I'll be pleased. With apps like this, they need testing and constantly updates. if alex is committed to it, i'll go with that. if i'm not happy with it, then i'll go with SEnuke.

This may be a dumb question, but doesn't going from a few backlinks to thousands of backlinks per month raise a huge red flag to Google, and get a website sandboxed?

I'm taking on a customer with an aged website who is scoring poorly. If I get him banned, I will do him a terrible injustice!

As far as I can see the only input from our side, is the original content/seed article.

A seed article that is spinned and imported in the Rank Builder Software. Inside the content are the anchortexts/backlinks to our site.

From that moment everything is automated (when you have a decpatcher service running) or is there more? I read about problems with the email verifications and other bugs, but when everything is working as it should do, the only manual thing I have to do is import an article with spin syntax and backlinks inside the content?

How many profile links does this software create and does it require a third party de-captcher service or can do it self like SE Nuke?

There's SENuke, SERPassist, EVO, now this one. Competition IS good, no doubt. And maybe this Rankbuilder is great. But reading it's a rebranding, and then a $500 a month OTO to "really" get the results??!!??

Shady sales tactics won't get me interested unless they ARE really that much better than the others(and I really doubt it). Sure these guys will make a quick buck at first. But is losing their reputation that worth it if they're in for more than the short term?

A LOT of "gurus" I pretty much trusted before have now gone the route of "we'll promote anything to our list for a quick buck" these days.

Yep - i have had the "make sure you clear your cookies because mine is the best bonus" round of emails too. Drives me nuts that they do it so blatantly, but that is a topic for a whole separate debate......

Anyhow - from those that have taken the plunge - how does it compete with SENuke? Does it do everything that the Nuke does and if so, is it better or worse (launch bugs aside?).

I use SENuke and yes, the price is a hefty one, but it makes me more money than it costs so am OK with paying it to a degree, but if there is a better less expensive cousin around, i'm more than interested.

I guess the question isn't so much in the price tag, but in the capabilities. If like so many others, it's a less expensive but inferior model, i'll stick with what i know. Again, that is another question - is the learning curve anything like as steep as SE Nuke or like that product, do you have to fork out for advanced training courses to actually learn how to use it properly?

And the beloved upsell? Is it a requirement to get the full benefits of just a further attempt to extort money from our pockets? I know Black Hat Cat has already mentioned this, but nothing makes me ask for a refund quicker than a product that is sold on these pretenses.

Am I missing the boat here? Doesn't thousands of new backlinks raise a big red flag with the Googlemonster, and get a site sandboxed?

Got bitten by this aswell I had bin so good ignoring emails after recieving so much trash. But this one come from traffic travis and I quite liked the software .

I cant trust any emails anymore.

I bought the upsell 2 days ago I still havent received it. I did find it weird how apparently I bought the concept on the front page but had to then pay $77 for the concept..

When i receive it ill try report back im pretty sure ill be cancelling this.

FYI my email verifications worked flawlessly.

However, I did use a pop3 address instead of the yahoo or gmail.

If you purchased the software that Maulana was selling in this forum do not buy this one ...Is the same software but the difference is that Alex Goad is selling it more expensive .....

I bought the trial and so far, I like it!
Like: I was able to create my web 2.0 properties and signed up for profile links (around 75% success rate) EASILY.
Dislike: No customer support to speak of. I submitted 3 tickets, none were answered. Anyway, I was able to discover on my own the answers to my problems.

Also had a problem logging into my Profile Link Builder at first but I discovered that you just use your paypal email for the username and clickbank transaction number for the password.

After signing up for profiles, Profile Link Builder could not verify the emails. But when I tried it the second time around, email verification was working already.

Same thing with web 2.0 sites, Link Wheel Builder would sometimes not work on some sites, and sometimes it would work. But more often than not, it was able to signup and post articles without a problem.

I am seriously considering continuing this beyond trial period. I just wish that it can do a double pass for the profile link building.

Well, the software is working flawlessly for me so it doesn't really matter if Alex Goad did not make it. I've personally experienced coming up against Maulana (the one who made the software) in the search engines and it was frustrating! Overnight, he just shot straight to the top. I've wondered how he did it. I was using SEnuke at the time. I'm sure he has other tricks than just by using this software but at least I know that he walks the talk.

Support has improved vastly. I now get a response to my tickets within 24 hours.

I've stopped using Senuke because it is beyond my budget and I have to admit that I was not able to maximize its potential. So far, I can do in rank builder what I do with Senuke which is create random linkwheels on web 2.0 sites and create profile links automatically.

I ended up not keeping this one. Only being able to have it on 1 computer was a dealbreaker for me as I want to train an outsourcer to use it.

I'm going to look at Serpassist and wait to evaluate the new senuke x (if they ever get around to launching it).

the only thing I dont like about this is using onlywire service, onlywire is always down and required manuall re-post

also hosting XML link on a third party site is not sustainable what will happen when myhostrss close down just like others ? all the work will be gone


iam using WTG plugin for RSS submission I can host my own XML and it done on autopilot , rank builder is good if you have best spinner and rely on article marketing only. however an extra $10/month to get SERPassist will do the job without need to buy any Ip address or captcha services

bookmarking service with onlywire is a pain and I prefere bookmarking demon ... i am thiking to refund as I dont see any better advantage than the other tool i already have

I've been using LBP since the beginning, I'm still in at $30/mo and that hasn't changed.

The program, at least for me, works flawlessly.

Ther are THREE parts to the program.

1. Rank Builder - created web 2.0 property links at Wordpress, Squidoo, Webs, Wetpaint, etc. etc. etc. I 40 or 50 of them. Does linkwheels also and fully supports article spinning. This is the main program. It automatically creates the email to use for registration too, which is nice. I've found it extremely stable with a very high success ratio.

2. Profile Link Builder - creates profile links on forums, they have several different forum engines. This is similar to Angelas and Pauls backlinks, but fully automated. This works very well also.

3. Article Submitter - creates accounts at article directories and submits articles. This is brand new and currently only 10 directories, but seeing how often this software is updated, more will come quickly I'm sure.

Overall, I've used this software for many, many months and seen it get better and better. I have zero complaints at all and use this almost daily. I use it to generate emails for Bookmarking Demon, I use it to create Web 2.0 links, profile links, now article links too. I use it for link wheels from time to time as well.

It's a great program that should be used in conjunction with other techniques.

I just don't see why go with this when there is SEnuke

My take on RB is that it's so incredibly buggy, and needs more work.
Every part of it has a problem on my end.
Creating the Yahoo email is the only part that works 100% of the time.

Between creating the accounts, verifying, and then posting, I'm left with about 25 out of the 48 Web 2.0 properties.
The RSS submitter - not working fully either. It uses HostMyRSS, which seems to have its own issues. After the RSS is created, it has no associated links. It's blank.
And this propagates to the rest of the RSS submitters.
And the ping.fm feature hasn't worked since RB's release. I still have to do this manually.

Now, in this last version released on the 17th, I'm having new issues.
For some reason I'm getting: The remote server returned an error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required right after starting Captcha. (I'm using my own proxy - XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:XXXXX).

The Profile Link Builder has its own set of problems. After the accounts are created, you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can check the emails and activate. That's fine. But if you happen to check it too early, see that only a couple got verified, wait and recheck - those first accounts disappear from the todo list and wont post. You can't even manually go in to Yahoo, and restore it from the trash, so you could run the activation again (so it can post). Those first accounts will never post.

RB has great potential. It really saves me time with some tasks. But the fact that I have to sit in front of the PC and baby it is annoying. And the fact that I have to manually fix some things RB missed is counter productive.

If the developers could just start from step 1, and fix everything along the process, I believe they could fix all bugs quickly. They don't seem like hard bugs to fix.

Another thing - if an auto update feature could be included, that would be great too.
I had to uninstall/reinstall and lost all my previous settings.

Oh, and the upsell is really just for SEO newbies. Any somewhat experienced SEO enthusiast learned this stuff a while ago. But it really is wonderful knowledge for someone just starting out.

Customer support is horrible, but I understand the process - being a programmer myself. It's a bit overwhelming trying to do 20 things at once. Amish & Jay's Magic Bullet went through the same process, and turned out to be the best CPA software ever created.

I think to make customers happy, maybe a cool bonus or free something of value, will allow people to be patient.

I purchased Rank Builder the day it launched and purchased the SEO Formula too. I never did get access to the SEO Formula. Tech support said it must be a server error, wait and try again. Well, 2 weeks later I still had no access, tech support was not responding to my tickets, so I got a refund through ClickBank. I purchased on other Alex Goad product a few years ago, he basically copied someone other persons idea and he totally failed, nothing worked. I am not buying anymore Alex Goad products even if he is a partner with someone else. Nothing works!

Hmmm I already used the rank builder pro, and for my opinion, this is senuke alternative for limited budget like me...so rank builder will work like a charm too if this software is LBP

It does work, I'm a lazy git so i haven't used it all that much but my business partner has and he is starting to rank higher for some of his keywords in the dating niche, such as "Neil Strauss" etc.

So it does work, if you do the work.

My criticism, and Alex knows this, could have done video manuals of it instead because the ebook is fricking annoying to go through, so much easier to show you how he did it on the actual site.

I have a decaptcher account, that i am unable to make it work with rank builder, because i don´t know where to put my decaptcher account port.

Does anyone know the answer?

I'm looking for some help here - really to assess whether it's worth my while spending the time trying to set this up.
I appear to need to get a US Proxy (I'm UK based) and though I have a growing small number of sites to promote now, the whole palaver is made to sound extremely awkward in the comments I've read in this thread.

It sounds great (marvellous even), looks great on the Sales Page, and despite needing IE instead of my usual Firefox should be a simple step at a time system..... BUT - any more recent comments on its worth would be very welcome please.

I bought into it, but have not yet had time to get going and have to decide whether to get stuck in and spend a lot of time setting it all up or just cancel and write off the 3 months costs I've spent by delaying. My next payment is in 2 weeks, but I'm extremely busy off line in our shop selling Christmas Candles etc.

Too be honest I had nothing but problems with Rank Builder. It always seem like something was messing up and the submission process took way longer than expected and I run a very high powered machine.

It might of just been my experience, but I also didn't have the best experience with the support staff. I honestly think part of it had to do with the product not being 100% ready when released. I think they were opening it up to more users to get some of the bugs out but not sure.

Anyways it is worth taking the trial to see if you like it or not.
