There are tons of products out there, most are over-hyped, few are awesome.

My question for my fellow warriors today is
"What is the best IM related product you've ever bought?"

By best, I mean the ones that actually yielded results when you applied them as stated in the product

THE CURRENT LEADERS
War Room Membership - The best place to be
Market Samurai - Awesome Keyword research tool
Chris Farrell membership program - Perfect for for mastering Internet marketing
Best Spinner - An Article spinner with a difference

  • Brian Johnson's Commission Ritual is awesome! If you're just starting out, this is the course to check out...
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • hey David

What exactly is Commission Ritual about?
    • [1] reply
    • Brian shows you how to target profitable niches and build websites that rank extremely well with Wordpress.

In other words, building a ton of mini sites for various keywords in your niche...
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • A 39 dollar membership to something I found the week I first learned to surf yahoo... called the warrior secret forum. No fluff. No lie.

Thats the plain truth. Alot of things have come and gone but the WF is solid and you can rely on it to keep you informed about whats goin on on the cutting edge of IM. It is also a chance to be involved directly as a cutting edge player, in the center of the IM universe. This is the capital of the IM world right here.

    • For keyword analysis, I like Market Samurai. Easy to use and
includes different functions like a find and publish content module,
seo competition and a rank tracker. Most of your tasks can
      be accomplished from one interface.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Is Market Samurai a one time payment tool or a recurring payment?
    • [2] replies
    • It was a one time payment when I bought it, but that was awhile ago
    • I bought it a few days back for a one-off payment of $97 the day before my trial period was about to expire.
  • An ebook/report called "$3500 weekly" that I purchased over 6 years ago. It was my first introduction to writing and publishing your own ebooks. I've never looked back.
    • [1] reply
    • Hahaha.... You said it is a good product? Just look at this website.

    • Chris Farrell's program was hands down the best program for me. I struggled for 6 months trying to figure everything out. His program takes you through internet marketing like a school would. Kindergarten - College.
  • 1) Paul Lemberg's Formula 5. Rocked my world completely!

    2) A close second is Frank Kern's overall philosophy - primarily the "Mass Control" strategies.

  • Instantpaydayformula.com

This is the best all in one package I buy for my Internet Marketing Business.

    • The best IM marketing book I ever read was the 1st one and was from the producerslounge (NSFW) the orginal sales page and product is gone from the site now.

It related to the adult industry and making money through it.
Making original content and buying it.
Affiliate marketing in the adult industry and so on
How to generate traffic and so on

It was over 100 pages long including various links (10 pages of such)
There was a message board attached too and support

Before anyone asks I never took action I red it when I was iving in germany and when when I moved back to Ireland the recession had started early for me and I was never able to raise the investment needed

      It was an excellent book
However I read it around early 2007 and I'd say it was writtin 2005 or 2006 before all the porn tube sites and therefore was based on the theory that if you want porn you have to buy it
      Which is no longer true

      Still a great book

  • An old book (gee whoda thunkit) that I bought way back in 1988 written by a guy named Theodore Levitt, "The Marketing Imagination".

    Introduced me to marketing.

  • Probably CPA Tsunami by Mike Hill

Market Samurai which has been mentioned a lot is a great tool also.

I like most products from Ryan Deiss also, they usually do the business.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Yeah Market Samurai seems to get awesome reviews
  • A few years back I purchased Jimmy D. Brown's Small Reports Fortune. This really switched me on to how easy it is to create small products quickly in your niche and 'crush-it'.

Paul Myers 'Build Your Own Empire...20 Pages at a Time!' is also an essential read for every product creator!

    • Conversation Domination by Howie Schwartz, 3 years ago changed completely my perspective in traffic and seo.

a wso, something about writing a book a day and publish it in Amazon, was the door for me to write my first book, get it done and publish it.

yesterday I read from the war room a short version of The triad Manifesto, by David Bynon... and it is making serious noise right now.

  • CPA Instant Cashflow. by Imran Naseem..
  • Many - and I'll probably forget some here, but I'll try...

Seven Day Ebook - my first product ever.
The Amazing Formula by Marlon Sanders
    Minisite Secrets
    Easy Paycheck Formula
    AdSense Secrets by Joel Comm
    Article templates by Jeff Herring
The Zeus article method by John Schwartz (WSO)

Except for Easy Paycheck Formula (which is new) these are the products responsible for most of my online income, and I'm a full time marketer. EPF has among other things taught me how to get a huge CTR on my articles, and I've made some money with it already.

    • For me it was James Martells' "Affiliate Marketers Handbook".

Because it opened my eyes to the possibilities.

Until that time I had no idea what a super affiliate was.

I thought it was just a select group of people who got really lucky with popular sites.

I didn't know it was possible to make money on purpose.

Have I had any success with the methods James teaches?

No. But it's my own fault.

Others have. I'm still working on it.

      Haven't given up.

  • Another vote for Market Samurai here.

I just bought Tiffany Dow's PLRATM which looks to be quite good too, but haven't put it all into practice yet to see what results I'll get
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Definitely EPF for me. Makes more sense than half, well actually, 90% of all the other overhyped MMO products out there and very fairly realistic.
  • Terry Kyles Backlinks Hydra, hands down.
  • Two products/websites got me started and going in the right direction.

Wealthy Affiliate (made my first $1 and many more because of it) and Affilorama were my launch pads, but I didn't make serious money until I came to the Warrior Forum.

Wealthy Affiliate and Affilorama gave me the structure and foundation while the Warrior Forum opened my mind to more possibilities.

I see a lot of people love Market Samurai. It's a nice tool, but it's only a tool...it won't do a darn thing for you if you don't know what you're doing. I bought MS and have used it, but I use free tools (Google KW Tool, SEO for Firefox/SEO Quake) for virtually all of my market research now. I haven't used MS for a few months.
  • Jay Abraham's Getting Everything You Can Out Of All You've Got. Best marketing information I've ever studied.

    • Turbo Membership by John Delevera. So much value for so little. You need to have a membership if you are an Internet Marketer. Its that good
    • Amazing amazing amazing book. Every Warrior should have a copy in their personal library.

I really like Jay's "Mr. X" book too. Although it costs quite a bit more than Getting Everything You Can Out Of All You've Got.

Wow, tons of great resources here.... For me,
    -----------------------------------------------
1.) The original Internet Marketing Center (IMC) course by (late) Corey Rudl.
2.) Yanik Silver's Internet Marketing course was good
    3.) John Reese: Traffic Secrets.
4.) Another great one was this deal from Mike Filsaime, if you're signed on to PayDotCom you can get an offer to buy everything he's ever produced, and also credits for selling your products on PayDotCom

That's all I can think of for now, will check back later after looking through my bookshelves!

I have learned all aspects of Internet Marketing and have used what I learned from their training to start my own Internet Marketing Company in 2008. It's more expensive that a WSO but has over 200 hours of recorded webinars and mind set calls.

  • i would say that micro niche finder is an awesome product and it has made the research work much easier..
  • I don't know if this is a product, but I believe my best purchase online was Bill McRea's Covert Coaching Club (CCC). There is so much to learn about making money online. The CCC has taught me to treat online money making as a BUSINESS. The concepts I have learned are invaluable, and there is no turning back.

    • Thanks for the recommendation Byrt! For me, it has to be Market Samurai pure and simple and of course Wordpress for being the most useful site builder ever.
  • Mike Hills CPA Tsunami, which is anyone who wants to build a $1m a month internet business it's not for sale any more though it was a one off by Mike I think.
  • Warriors,

There are so many IM-related products (and services) that my favorites (or "best" purchases) are seldom static. Some that came to me off the fly were:

    The Warrior Forum War Room
    eMarketer.com
    Keyword Elite 2
    Keyword Discovery
    Wordtracker
Frank Kern's Underachiever Course (no longer for sale)
    Perry Marshall's Google Adwords Course
    Jonathan Mizel's Traffic Evolution
Eric Louviere's Traffic Crusher (not for the faint of heart)
    Word Press
    Coffee Cup HTML Editor
    Coffee Cup Direct FTP
Coffee Cup Visual Site Designer (a pretty decent WYSIWYG website builder)
    Anything from Paul Myers
    Marlon Sander's Amazing Formula
Jeff Walker's latest Product Launch Formula
    Aweber Autoresponder service
Jason Fladlien's Productivity Report (everyone should own this bad boy)
    Anything from Seth Godin
Make Your Words Sell! By the late Joe Robson (even though it's now free, it's still one of the best primers to copy writing I've ever read)
Any article marketing course written by Tim Gorman, Dean Shainin, Steven Wagenheim, or Allen Graves
Promote My Articles Article Directory (no ads, higher CTRs than EZA by a long mile!)
IdeaMarketers.com, Goarticles.com, Buzzle.com, AssociatedContent.com, doc sharing sites (for article submission)
    Product Creation by Kevin Riley
    Kevin Riley's Traffic Course
    Gmail
    Skype
    Gizmo

I could probably list a few dozen more, but these some that came to mind.

  • by far....the "War Room" here on WF. There is no commission for this recommendation so you that should tell you how serious it is. The only thing(s) I've purchased since is whatever is highly recommended in the War Room and automation software.
  • I attended numerous internet marketing seminars, had private coaching, was part of expensive membership programs, and must have wasted close to $40,000 before I bought this $7 ebook below which changed everything.

One question though: What do you mean by "My Whiteboard"

  • The BEST free product is Tiffany Dow's 52 Week Lens Building Journey and the BEST product I've purchased is a tie between IPK (Info Product Killer) and ECB (Extreme Cash Blueprint.)
  • Market Samurai for sure. Has saved me 100's of hours and thousands of dollars, easily.
  • The chris farrell membership was the best IM product I have bought. It was one of the first IM products that I ever bought and I made my first commission online using what was taught there I don't mean to be preaching but I really do owe Chris Farrell big time! Under a month in his program and I had reached the $100+/day mark

    Other honorable mentions:

    Mike Hill CPA Tsunami

    among others
  • I've never bought an internet marketing product that I thought was anything amazing (and I've bought a fair amount)
  • My two favorites are...

    1. Always Be Launching
    2. Ryan Deiss Listbuilding course...can't remember what it's called off the top of my head but the content is awesome!

    1. Teaches you how to present your product and gives you everything to write in your email sequences and gives you the wordpress theme to do it all.

    2. Is great for driving traffic and getting people to opt in.

Market Samurai will show you exactly why.
    Couldn't do anything without it.
    Just my $0.02
  • Someone said Xsite Pro good product though not the best.

Humm best product ... Wordpress ... nope the OP said bought and Wordpress is free.

Ok then how bout Market Samurai.
    • [1] reply
    • I have been thinking of making this post for quite awhile. This is as good of an occasion as I have found. Ok, and you'll see this nowhere else. And before you CSS jockeys scarf and chuckle, tell me that you used and mastered my favorite product before scoffing at it.

If you like xSitepro, you'll rave over FrontPage. While Wordpress has its advantages, it's not the end all. FrontPage 2003 is the easiest page builder to use.

The power part is that it's so darned easy to do massive revisions. Using what's called , and the awesome never excelled global features (that work equally as well on page as in page code) it's a pure snap to create tons of pages with minimum clicks. Actually the two most powerful features are the includes and the find and replace options. There has never been a page making product built to anything near the power of FP in that the engineers somehow anticipated every page making shortcut you would ever need. I'm still finding new wrinkles even at this late stage.

As for the page creation, TinyMCE on Wordpress comes in a very poor second to the native WYSIWIG that is the cornerstone of FrontPage. I cringe when I attempt a really creative page with WP, whereas with FP, I just say to my hands, "Fingers, do your duty." They go to work and before I know it, a delightful new page appears.

FP will work with FTP probably forever, although a bit clumsily without the powerful server extensions for massive sites. However there is still no sign that the major hosts have any notion of doing away with FrontPage server extensions that still make it revolutionary.

I use it for niche sites and authority sites both. Knowing what I know now, thanks to my exposure to Wordpress, Joomla, etc, my start from scratch page design is even better than it used to be.

I have found that in many instances with Wordpress and with CSS some picky little things often boil down to "workarounds." With poor, frazzled, toothless, old CSSless FP, it's always a "workwith."

Yes, there are FP uh-ohs and idiosyncrasies, about like everything else, but they are few, well documented, and once you learn em, you'll never have a problem you can't lick.

I can get my FrontPage pages to top listings in Google far easier than I can with Wordpress. This is a true fact. Even with all the bells and whistle SEO plugins available for WP (which I use and cling to like little codey life rafts), it just purely can't match the love and SEO respect that hateful Google bestows upon FP pages once you get the right mix of on page, and in code keywords balanced properly. I don't know why this is, but it is.

On the down side, while WP will, to some extent do your Search Engine work for you automatically, assuming you have the right plugins, there are plenty of things and services out there for you to use to manually do it for your FP pages. At no charge, I must add. Once you get your backlinking, pinging, rssing ducks properly lined up, it's not so bad.

So, in conclusion, FrontPage is good for what it's good for. I'd say it really shines for niche sites serving up sites that you want to get up quickly and goodly. It's the quickest, easiest way to toss up a really good looking, unique looking static site. There is no Wordpress-like automation to mention with FP, but you weren't going to use it for a blog site anyway.

      All things considered, I'd give xSitePro a 3 and FP a 5.

However, where FP is lovable, but dead, xSitePro is very much alive, and being so, it could, with a few more enhancements, meet and surpass FP. It has a lot going for it, but I find it a bit buggy, from time to time. And, it is missing in some critical areas of functionality that FP has always had. I don't believe it would be too hard for them to catch it up. They clearly had FP on their minds when they set about to create xSitepro in the first place.

In the meantime, if you aren't looking for another page maker, and WP is all you have ever used, stick with it. But if you're newer or flexible, you'd do well to give poor, dead, much maligned, venerable, FrontPage 2003 a try. Go forth and make some unique, one of a kind, elegantly designed websites from scratch like you can't do with rock ribbed Wordpress. If you do, some day you'll think about thanking me. Ha!
      Norm
P.S. So far, using FrontPage starting with FP 1998, I have never had an issue with my plugins after an upgrade. And since 2003 I NEVER will.
  • I agree with Brett's recommendation, viz., "The original Internet Marketing Center (IMC) course by (late) Corey Rudl." This is an excellent tool with which to get started. If you're interested in an ongoing mentoring program, I would recommend that you check out one of Jim Paris' coaching-programs.
  • If you're just starting out in IM, Chris Farrell's membership is excellent (and I'm not just saying that because I'm his graphic designer!). He really does take you by the hand and walk you through the whole process of getting started and getting traffic.

It's not entirely IM related, but the AWA copywriting course is by far one of my favorite products that I turn to, time and time again.

Sonia Simone's Remarkable Marketing Blueprint (Remarkable Marketing Blueprint with Sonia Simone) as well as the Third Tribe are well worth the membership fee!

  • Chris Farrell membership is the best product that I have bought. It builds my basic IM knowledge. Chris is a good teacher. I highly recommend this to newcomers.

Other than that I learned a lot of FREE info from Michael Brown and Hitesh. I really enjoy their tips and advise. Top class....

Most of IM products that I have bought cannot beat the FREE information I got from Michael Brown and Hitesh.

Recently Dan Brock also has been giving valueble tips.

p.s: I almost forgot to mention apart from Chris Farrell membership being the best product I have bought, Article Marketing Robot also gives good result and worth the money spent.
