I think that one of the main differences between the two is that LPR has unlimited installs.

OptimizePress is unlimited installs as well, but from the looks of it OP also has a lot more flexibility in terms of layout of the pages and content.

Seems that LPR is mostly a template with fill-in-the-blank spots already (like the bullet points in the example)

Not to mention its $197 for LPR and $97 for OP

Optimizepress has tons of features that's more suited for a person who actually create there own product. So if you are into product creation Optimize press is the way to go

LPR is great for creating landing pages and squeeze pages that do not get punished by Google. It is a good product but Trey Smith was full of himself in the sales video. I checked out the videos and am having my tech guy kick the tires.

So I watched the sales video, and I don't know why should anyone pay $197 for a HTML editor?

The video demonstrated a "software" where there are squeeze pages, sales pages, review sites and blog templates hardcoded into the software. And you can change the color scheme and the texts of those templates. Wow, really a revolutionary software

You can achieve the same with a little Wordpress, HTML, and CSS skill. Why pay $197? I don't get it.

And why would Google "love" those templates? Because they are nice looking? OMG. Google is a robot, not a human. Google cares basically only about the number of backlinks, and your trustrank. You cannot create trustrank with only on-page optimization, and with a $197 software. I wish it would be that easy!

I think this product targets n00bs who don't know what Wordpress, HTML and CSS is.

Here is their super duper website generated by this software (they showed it in the video):

And this took 13 months to develop? Common...

Trey didn't build this site for SEO dude.

He did it for PPC.

The problem is Google HATES templates.

And as soon as this one is out there, it's gonna get slapped.

Guess what.

Google wants your site to look like a real business.

Does Macy's have a squeeze page? Lands End? Forbes? Cosmo? Amazon?

No.

It's time to stop fooling ourselves that these sites are real businesses.

They aren't.

And trust me, Google is gonna bite you hard sooner or later.

Build a real site.

Give real content.

And Google will let you run PPC ads to your heart's content.

So you don't believe it will work but encourage people to promote it as an affiliate?

If you want to create high quality score Adwords landing pages, go to the Adwords Help Center. They tell you how to create landing pages with high quality score. Those tips works for me, without super-secret-guru-softwares.

Google tells you for free how to create pages what Google loves. Have you ever read their help?

A Wordpress theme has nothing to do with quality score. Your content matters. So can this product write the content for me automatically? I doubt it.

You can create high quality score landing pages with ANY Wordpress theme. I have a few landing pages with maximum quality score in STATIC HTML.

For someone like myself who got banned by Adwords and can't get back in, this is extremely tempting

But something tells me it's too good to be true, so I will probably pass

Plus, since Google took away my income, so I really can't afford to spend money on PPC anymore anyway

Simply using LP Robot will not get your account unbanned nor will it stop a suspension/banning without other actions being taken.

I know its positioned that way but its not true.

Trey Smith loses a lot of credibility in my book by indicating that it does as well as other statements he makes in the sales video.

I received the promotional email as well. Adding to the above comments, I noticed that one of the features was a template for a review website. So far as I can determine, that is not a feature of OptimizePress.

I also notice that in the Order Now section, there is a box that needs to be checked in which you acknowledge that this is a monthly payment (I'm going by memory here, my wording may not be precise), indicating to me that you will be making ongoing payments. Did anyone else notice that?

I didn't notice that before but you're right it is there and needs to be checked to make the transaction.

The listing on CB states that it offers "$100 payout plus recurring commissions", so it would appear that it IS $197 per month. That does seem a bit unusual for what is apparently a customizable WP theme, unless I am missing something.

Sorry for the confusion. It is a ONE TIME fee of $197.

My programmer is setting up a 1-click-upsell into my monthly membership
and put the "I understand this is a monthly charge" checkbox on the
wrong page!

It's fixed now, sorry about that.

Also, I see some people were talking about this fixing the Google slap.

Obviously you must have great content on your site to fix the Google slap
as well. Google DOES like this template, but if you put junk on there it
wouldn't work.

When you get the software, we have a full section that goes over the EXACT
things you must do if you are promoting affiliate offers. We break it down
step by step.

The software just makes it super easy to implement this stuff. And it's great
for people like me who aren't that good at doing the design stuff

My adwords account is suspended for some stupid mirror pages I used 6 months ago!
They now want me to make pages that are in line with there policies in order to reactivate my account.
So do you think I schould use this software to make the pages?
(I'm not planning to advertise the websites anyway, I haven't advertised these url's since 6 months ago)

As a noob who doesn't know much html and no css, this sounds good to me. The price is a little high, though. I guess it's the Kern factor. I think I'll pass for now but I just want to say that It's great to be able to come to this forum and get the scoop. This is the best money I've spent online.

Beware! I just read about someone finding trojans in Trey's Keyword Localizer. It's free software that he gives away. The blog showed a virustotal scan that showed a 4/42. Just trying to keep us all bug free.
