Have You Used WP Robot?

Hello,

I am looking for feedback from anyone who has been using the Professional version of WP Robot. I downloaded the FREE version and have been experimenting with it.

I am wondering if it can help to turn a blog into an ecommerce site.

If you have been using it, has it helped you to generate more traffic?

Have you been able to make sales and generate income?

Thanks in advance.

David

Yes, it's very good in the sense that it does what it says on the tin. But from my recent experience I would say there's a good chance of being flagged by google for duplicate content after some time, so all the work and links may be for nothing....

I've heard that this tool can work if you don't over use it.

      Yes.
Have you been able to make sales and generate income?
      Yes.

But it has less to do with the solution.. success comes from picking good niches and keywords that convert. A tool by itself is only a tool.

Its not an ecommerce site, but it can generate plenty of content from Amazon.com that offers products for sale using your affiliate ID.

You can improve and protect your SEO by monitoring the auto-posted articles and making sure they are strictly related to your niche. Additionally, you can create a dozen or so personally created posts to drip feed to your site every 4-6 weeks. This will keep your site with fresh content as well as on-topic auto-generated content.

Do I like it? If I had to discard every product I ever purchased but one, WP Robot is the one I would keep! I have it installed on every blog I own, even if I don't use auto-content, because I can set it up to provide periodic content when I need it or want it.

Thanks for all the feedback. I write all my own stuff and it would be nice to have another source on occasion.

I am really interested in how well it does with Amazon and Clickbank.

    Thanks again.

David, it does great with Amazon, but I did not do well with CB the one time i tried it several versions ago. I haven't given it the College Try yet, so don't write CB off.

There is a plugin you will want that shortens titles. Amazon products often come with titles that contain the first full paragraph of the article. You will want them trimmed. My host is having problems right now so I can't tell you the proper name. You'll have to look it up.

Also, with WPR you can create a campaign that includes a specific set or a random set of criteria for articles.

For example, you can setup a campaign that posts one article per day that looks like this:

50% of time Post from Criteria A
25% of time Post from Criteria B
15% of time Post from Criteria C
10% of time Post from Criteria D

      Criteria A: (Article)
      Article Title
100% of time: Post article from ArticlesBase
50% of time: Add an Amazon.com Ad
50% of time: Add an eBay ad
50% of time: Add a YouTube Video

      Criteria B: (YouTube Video)
      YouTube Title
      100% of time: YouTube Video
      50% of time: Amazon Ad
      25% of time: ClickBank Ad

      Criteria C: (Amazon Ad)
      100% of time: Amazon Ad
      25% of time: ArticleBase Article
      10% of time: YouTube Video

      Criteria D: (Article)
      Article Title
      100% of time: Article
      10% of time: Article (2nd)
10% of time: News Article from News Source

In case this is confusing, I just randomly picked criteria out of my head. How it works is that for each campaign, the different criteria (A-D) have to total 100% and only one is picked per posting. I chose to post once per day so I only get one of each of the four. Over 100 postings, I should have about 50, 25, 15, and 10 respectively from each criteria, but in random order.

Each criteria deals with random chance rather than a choice so you will want to choose the first part of the post 100% of the time. Then you set a random criteria for each of the additions to the post so for the fractions (less than 100%) you may get 0 additions one day, 1 another day, all of them another day, or any combination any given day.

Of course, you can setup a simple campaign as well that only contains one article (or amazon, etc. whatever you desire) and nothing else. Or you can configure it to post one article and one Amazon ad each time. Of course you can set it to post from one hour to XXX days if you like.

Another example would be to set it up to post once per week a YouTube video followed by an Amazon Ad and an eBay ad. It would post the exact combination every week, but with different articles, of course.

You say you write your own information, so you could write several articles and drip feed them once every Monday. Maybe another short series could be drip fed every Friday. But have WPR feed an article or ad every Wednesday.

One experiment I did (it failed, so consider that) was to post an article every Monday about RV Care. On Tuesday it was about hiking. On Wednesday it was about Tent Camping, on Thursday, it was about RV Camp sites and on Friday it was about Fishing. On Saturday I posted random, uncategorized information such as RV insurance, choosing a bass-boat, etc.

It was basically a weekly magazine broken down into days of the week. It did well until it was hijacked by phishers and crackers started taking down the site. Once Google Blacklisted it, it lost all momentum. It has since recovered and I am in the process of re-purposing the domain I used.

      Anyway, there are some ideas.

WP-Robot does everything it says it does and more. Seriously, it is also the one tool I would NEVER give up!

It does have a bit of a learning curve IF you really get into it, it is a VERY powerful auto generating tool.

Because it is so powerful, you do need to handle it with care or you will have blog exploding with just stuff.

So you do need to make sure you get it set up properly for your blog and it works beautifully.

It still is the best auto generating plugin and the support is A+.
