I just bought the $34.95 version and was not happy (I thought the sales letter was very misleading). I will be posting my review shortly, let me know if you want the link.

It's only a short review - I posted it at my blog earlier today => PLR Angel - but will also paste it below (without the aff link). Please remember that this is my opinion only, you should make your own assessment of the product when deciding whether or not to purchase it.

Why did I buy Bloggers Payday? I bought this product because I was wanting to see if the methods used in the guide could be done with PLR articles. But the product was not at all what I was expecting (you'll have to keep reading below to see what I discovered). It's not a very nice review but I don't like being misled by a sales letter.

Firstly, there were FOUR upsells - and one was for $195! One upsell is expected, two is pushing it a bit, but four, they've got to be kidding. And the final upsell is a special "gold edition" of an entirely different product (though this one actually looks like it's about blogging - but is very expensive). And lastly, yes there's more, the download page is smothered in affiliate offers that belong to the seller.

If you were hoping this product was going to show you how to build a blog that earns you thousands every month - forget it! The sales letter and video are very misleading as it's not even about blogging, not in the expected sense anyway. Of course I can't really say what the exact steps are because that would be telling everyone what's in the product, but I can say that it was not at all what I was expecting and it's not at all suitable for newbies.

So who is this product good for? It's good for those who already know quite a bit about putting a blog together and adding content... then it goes off on a different tangent all together... and covers nothing about blogging! It discusses a particular method of making money with blogs, and that's it - nothing about how to blog and make the thousands of dollars it claims.

And if you want to automate the process (remember it's not really about actual blogging) you need to purchase the upsell, of course! So all of the claims about making thousands a month seem possible only if you buy the upsell. If that's the case why are they claiming you can make so much in the main sales letter? That's what I find very misleading.

Good points: it does mention some free WordPress plugins that will help automate a few processes, as well as some plugins to help with SEO and advert placement, plus a few other plugins. As far as actually building a blog though - nothing.

So in a nutshell it discusses what to do AFTER you've created a blog (actually many blogs) to supposedly earn thousands in your first month.

Is Bloggers Payday a scam? No I wouldn't say it's a scam, but the sales letter is very misleading so some people may find that it's not what it's claiming to be.

If you want to check it out here is my affiliate link => (link removed by me) <= though I'm guessing that there will be a high refund rate for this product, especially when newbies discover that it's not actually about how to blog.

Brava Kristy ... everything I was going to say. And may I add:

The sales piece is very misleading ... I have decided that I will never again pay for something that doesn't say it is original software or explains somewhat what the product is about ... in this case ... domain/site selling???? Please!!! And the ebook is so old with really nothing new at all. And it has nothing whatsoever to do with blogging.

The upsales were endless. And after looking at the product ... I now realize that they did need for you to buy something other than the original product because it was somewhat vapid.

The sales piece threw around not hundreds of thousands of dollars but millions. I sat there and said to myself ... really????? Millions???? But he has a good reputation, up to now, and I bought it to see.

Seriously, thinking of asking for a refund. I think it would send a message to him not to "pull" this again. I, for one, would never have bought the product if he said it was domain or website selling.

Suggestion: don't be an affiliate of this product ... the refunds will be flowing.

I can't really say what the exact methods are as that would be giving the info away. The impression I got from the sales letter was that the product would show you HOW to blog, but it actually shows you what to do with the blogs to make money AFTER you've made many of them.

I don't know about you but four upsells is annoying (especially when the sales letter implies that you'll get all the info you need for $34.95).

If people can't tell what the product is about then the sales letter certainly isn't doing it's job very well.

Great point Kristy, if the sales letter isn't going to tell you what you are buying then common sense says close the page and leave it alone.

Yes, Kudos to Kirsty, on all but one point - and I do respect her position on this, but our attitudes need to change:

    What is this product?

The sales information is so vague that it's impossible to tell. We come to Warrior Forum to try to find out what the offer is about! These 'blind' product launches have got to stop. Anybody want to create a site where people openly reveal what is in the product? It's not illegal, it's not an infringement of copyright. Consider it a public service. That's the active approach.

The passive approach...just trash the email if it doesn't tell you what it's selling. Stop the rot before you get to the web page!

And if you do get taken in, use the guarantee if it's not what you want.

      Hi pgreenwo,

I actually own a site as you suggested, the problem is how to monetize such a website....

      1. I'd have to buy all the products and upsells first in order to be able to credibly talk about them and there are 100s hitting the market

      2. If I told everyone that it's a crap product, they'd say thanks and leave the page.

      3. Sure I could offer a different product that delivers what it promises and maybe monetize the site that way, but that would only be a personal opinion and it would take only ONE bad suggestion from me to lose ALL credibility.

So the idea is nice, but IMHO fairly difficult to put into practise and profit.

I do in fact have such a site, or more to the point I started it but it's one hell of alot of work and the ROI doesn't really compensate time and effort.

      best regards

true. you gotta learn how to write a review that gives more meat. you're worried if you say WHAT the product does you'll give it away.

WHAT it does, is very different than HOW to do it. Thats what the course/book is for.

This is something you gotta learn how to do if you wanna compete in the review space...

Agreed. I can't see a problem with saying what the product is about. In fact in this thread someone says its about flipping aged domains.

Couldn't agree more Dave, if you can't write a review then you'd have to outsource it and that as to be learnt and paid for too

I would personally call those who have a misleading sales letter as scam.

Personally I am happy to have made it past that stage but I still do feel bad for the newbies who may not yet have a good knowledge or are technically short! These types of products are the reason why most people fail online. There is already too much info out there without mis-leading people.

My personal advice is: if something is too good to be true, then it isn't.

I have been let down by products purchased from this seller before, and refunded them.

The first was Affiliate System X, which as a rough guide to autoblogging using multi-site features of Wordpress was reasonably interesting, but not specific enough.

The other was a product I never actually received due to a mixup with me accidentally deleting the welcome message...I tried for 59 days to get them to re-send the email, but all I got was dumb responses, so I ended up refunding both in disgust.

Just Google the guy's name from the sales page...you won't find a lot of positive things said...

Guys, I'm a newb like so many others...but I have learned more from $7, $17 and $27 WSO's (as well as a few free ones, such as Hitesh's great free WSO), than I have from these crappy sensationalized "guru" packages...

Also, do yourself a favour and look at Paul Count's new WSO, just posted on WF yesterday. TONS of great learning to be had, AND you get resell rights to the entire, very well-regarded course materials.

My advice (if advice from a newb means anything), if you want to make money, it seems clear that you need to get yourself educated and learn the basics the hard way...by reading, learning, applying, experimenting. There is no magical fountain of money, or at least, you aint gonna get one for $30!

Don't let this guy suck you in! I suspect he sells a sub-par product to unwary customers...and lives off the ones who don't bother or forget to refund within the 60 days...

Just sayin...perhaps Mr Bloggers Payday has a counter-opinion?

    Hi
Kristy is right. Sale page is very misleading. 58 page book has little bit information about blogging. Simply said it is mostly about flipping aged websites...
I do not know if it is scam but I think there is 60 days guarantee to get money back.

Let me first start by saying that I havent purchased this particular product so please keep that in mind.

I spend a lot of time in this forum reading the different reviews, how potential buyers react to different products...etc, if there is one constant it's that people in general are tired of being misled by vague and over hyped (or worse yet) sales letters.

I'm glad people are starting to take a stand against this and hope it continues! Maybe, just maybe...in time, product owners as a whole will start to take note and change their ways.

      Thanks for the review Kristy..

It's a fact that people will fall for these promise the earth sales pages...

They are all designed to take advantage of human emotions..they press the greed and averice buttons..and we are frightened of the fact that we might be missing something...

When deep down we should realise there is no fast fix to millions..though, there are quick ways to earn a living or make extra cash...

Rob has made a stack of money from a string of products..and as he says in the sales letter..this is going out to a 100K list plus all his marketing mates are pushing it...

The last product I bought from him was affiliate game plan, not all bad but, quite a few dubious methods...

The main problem for new marketers is simply this...

There is one hell of a lot of information required to have any kind of success online...which ever way you decide to go it's a steep learning curve...think of it like building a house, you must have a good foundation.

Yes, you will waste time on the latest guru mouse trap...yes, you will spend a lot of money until you realise that most information is available for free or very little money...yes, you will try 10 different ways to make money of which perhaps 2 might work...

Whatever IM product you buy, you will learn something to your advantage..a tip, a small piece of information that is part of your jig saw...

Each and every day we learn something new no matter who you are or where you are on the IM ladder...what worked last week may well not work this week...

Finally, as this is turning in to a bit of a rant...

Get the basics right, keep tuning and testing and be a bit patient things will start to happen in time...

I was checking when I put my first web site live, had to use wayback machine to find out, it was 24 November 1999...it has been no 1 on page 1 of Goog for years because, it is in a very specialised niche...
