Affordable, Reliable, Autoresponder <not> Aweber or Listwire?

I just wasted the better part of a day trying to figure out Listwire and I'm not ready for aweber yet, especially with the rumors of their having been compromised recently.

What else do I have to choose from?

I'll take a free one with ads if it'll just get my subscriber to my download page without having to re-invent the freaking wheel. Hell, I could have hand delivered it by now.

Thanks in advance...
Steve

So far I've been very pleased with ImnicaMail. The owner is a Warrior, and there is a WSO here for it that makes it dirt cheap.

The ones I hear alot about are imnica, mailchip, icontact and get response

I personally am with profollow, PLR of aweber, I would recommend it, but sounds like you wouldn't be interested

Personally, I prefer Aweber. I don't know much about Listwire. Mailchimp is quite user friendly, if you are having problems with Aweber. Once you take the time to figure out Aweber, you will love, because of the cool stuff you can do.

It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction.

I actually found a product by another Warrior, Igibbon, while I was surfing the WSO's cooling down.

I signed up for a free trial and already have my campaign set up! Maybe it's because I learned so much already today, but it was easy-peasy compared to what I've endured.

        I think it's autosenders.com and I like it!

    It's not a rumor, it's a fact.

There's another thread here on the first or second forum page:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...d-again-3.html
    Or read about it here:
AWeber Database Hacked, Email Addresses Stolen. Again. | BustSpammers.com

    Try:
Campaigner, Constant Contact, GetResponse, iContact, Infusionsoft, Mad Mimi, Mail Chimp
If you just want to play around with a small list, some of them even offer free service (like <100 subscribers or so). AWeber charges you from day one and after their promo $1-month it's at least $19.

But looks like you already found something anyway...

If you want a free autoresponder and Listwire is driving you nuts, then I'd go with Mailchimp. I do think Listwire is worth the effort if you're truly set on using a free autoresponder, though.

    Hey Steve,

This is Gary Ambrose, the owner and creator of List Wire ... just wanted to chime in, and let you know that we have a full guide available for all members, and it's on the forum. If you're still having problems after reading it, we're available on the forum for support ... both myself, and our lead developer.

    Thanks,

Can I get people subscribed automatically in a list when they purchase my product? I know that can be done with Aweber and with its Private Label versions but I am not sure if that can be done with Imnica

I have used aweber but now I use Response2-0. The interface is very easy to navigate and create mailings. It is also very affordable at 12 usd/month.

Anyone should be very cautious using MailChimp.

    Their terms of use state:

    • Escort and dating services
    • Pharmaceutical products
    • Get-rich-quick or work-at-home schemes
    • Online trading, day trading tips, or stock market related content
    • Gambling services, products or gambling education
    • Multi-level marketing
    • Affiliate marketing
    • Credit repair, get-out-of-debt content
    • Mortgages and/or Loans
    • Real estate prospecting or listing
    • Nutritional Supplements, Herbal Supplements or Vitamin Supplements
    • Pornography or nudity in content
    • Adult novelty items or references in content
    • List brokers or List rental services

I just signed up with imnica and it looks pretty good. You can do a search here on wf and check out the wso. After comparing prices it was a no brainer as far as I am concerned. I haven't set up any campaigns yet but I was checking out the fact that they have a wp plugin and that should help.

    Hi,

I'm an ImnicaMail user and I love it. It doesn't have as many features as Aweber but for the price they're charging, the value is fantastic. The mail deliverability is as good as Aweber's.

I have just switched from Aweber to Profollow. Profollow is an Aweber reseller but the big difference is that with profollow you only pay $19.95 per month for up to 10k subscribers and then just an additional $9 per month for each extra 10k subscribers you add to your list.

Yes , I'm use Aweber private label as well , but now all the private label including profollow has raising up the price structure similar to aweber since January 2011

Lucky for us that already signup before jan 2011

I wonder if those private labels are also affected when AWeber gets hacked. I'd assume so since they use the same backend, but would like to know more.

    Hi Steve,

Don't know if you are still looking for a list management system. iMediaMarketingTools.com has a WSO going on which will save you money. It's an integrated platform where you get everything and more features than any others out there.

    Check it out.

A decent, not great, but decent autoresponder I've just come across is emailsender.org. Their GUI is ok and overall the performance is alright considering their ultra cheap pricing compared to the other big dogs in the industry.

I've had few problems with them and my 10,000+ list.

A few cons: no ability to bulk remove unopened emails over a certain period, no bulk remove feature for bounced emails (everything is manual for each email = pain to clean up list)

BUT I do get a high open and click through rate with 95+% success rate on delivery to my list.
