dead beat super affiliate review

Hey Everyone,

I had the chance to look at Dan Brock's new Dead Beat Super Affiliate, and I must say for the price point, I'm actually quite impressed. This isn't one of those "guru" launches, where you feel that you got ripped off, Dan's known for his quality, and that's that.

This is {I think} my first product review here. So take that as it may. I've just gone through a couple of videos in it, and I think its worth the $37 already. If youd o want to be a super affiliate, this is the product FOR YOU!

I hope this hadn't already been posted...

Caleb

Im sort of in a buying frenzie lately so I picked this up. I know Dan is a well respected member of the Warrior forum so I thought Id give it a shot.

I have had some success promoting products through Amazon so I wasnt sure exactly how much I would learn from the course. Well I was pleasantly surprised at the new the new things that I was able to pickup from him. It is a well laid out course and easy to follow. I thought is was well priced as well @ $37.

If you are a newbie, this would be a great buy.

Tiffany Dow is also a respected member here. You may want to check out her latest post on DSA before buying. She was asked to give a review of his product...seems he didn't like some of his own customers' comments on the upsells.

Dan's been promising his previous customers a special link to the new system, but after constant emails, day after day, promising to send it, we still have not recieved it.

            You'll get your link.

We are having major problems from this whole CB maintenance fiasco and can't get the info we need until it's straightened out. Once the API stuff gets sorted, we will get you the link. Working with what we got here.

            Thanks,

You can get it for $27 if you try and leave the sales page (the price i got it for).

I myself have also gone through a couple of the videos so far but it is way too early to say whether it is worth the entry fee. I believe he is also due to increase the price shortly also...apparently!

Dan, in the video you log into your paypal, clickbank, and easy paycheck something accounts.. it seems you are lacking some transparency here. None of those sales are affiliated with sales from your IM related list(s)? If so, that would seem a bit contrary to the angle of your salesletter.

Do yourselves a favour and stop buying the B***** WSO's that promise $$$$ with no work.
Everyone who has spent any time on line sees through all that CR*P.

Although I have had some great success with Physical product sales, I bit the bullet and purchased Dan's course, and must say .... for the price, it's one of the best courses I've seen ANYWHERE over the last 12 months or so.

There are lots of tid-bits in this course that many others don't mention.

Highly recommended for anyone interested in targeting the physical products markets.

Thumbs up from me ....well done.

Except for you, apparently. Have you actually read his sales letter? I'm guessing no. Let me help you:

Sleep Walk into your first $3,000 month... then sit back and watch as you start passively banking $11,461 a month or more... and once the money starts coming it's UNSTOPPABLE... even if you stay in bed all day and hardly touch your PC for weeks.

Yeah, that has hard work written all over it, lol.

Let me enlighten you on my comment.

I did not buy off the sales letter, but based purely on another marketers recommendation ( who I respect greatly).

Any Online business is work (some hard, some a litte easier - but whatever road you take, there is an element of the word that everyone seems to avoid - WORK.

Sales Letters are well ... Sales letters. I've actually become immune to them now - but I take your point.

I did purchase this with my refund finger ready if this turned out to be another collection of rehashed info ..... IMO it beats other courses hands down that sell for twice the price (& and yes, the upsells are very annoying

it is definitely better to have you own domain

since you better use WP to enjoy the flexibility and SEO benefot from WP

plus, WP will allow you to make a review site more easily than blogger

Blogger in my experience is hard to rank. Also, they can pull the site if someone reports you and there is something out of compliance. Then again, YMMV.

            hi Everyone...

I haven't been on this site too much and therefore am not really sure how to make a new thread post, so I am going to just ask on here.

I have been using Sara Young's Easy Paycheck Formula....And, I have found it to be the best beginning affiliate program in comparison to many others I have tried. I have made a handful of sales over the past few months (mostly the Christmas season), and now I am at a dead stop.

I seem to have mostly trouble trying to find keywords and SEO in general. I asked Sara what I should do to help me generate more sales and what not and she recommended Deadbeat Affiliate.

I have read a number of posts on WF about this program which all seemed to be good. My question is:..... Is there anyone here that has had good success from this program when starting out struggling....?????

And, does anyone offer any kind of coaching??

            Thank you

Good find sir. Yes, that is covered in part two of my training (included with the front end product), after the core training modules. The info for that is listed in my sales letter near the bonus section after we go into Amazon. In total, that part is roughly 11 hours worth of video training.

      Thanks!

    Hey Daniel,

I distinctly remember you releasing a list building product stating that because Google started listing it's own affiliate links in the search results above your Amazon affiliate sites reducing your income, that promoting Amazon products is dead.

Is that not the case anymore?

I have also a few questions for Dan...
the earnings you show on your sales page are quite impressive, since you constantly emphasize how lazy you are (which I personally don't believe, I think you're working your butt off..).. and your course explains very well how to build review sites for amazon products... however, building a review site is the easiest part, I personally have a lot of them, but I'm not as near to those earnings you have..
      So I wonder...
      • How many review sites do you have to make this income?
      • How are they ranking in Google for your keywords?
      • What do you do to rank them?
      • How many unique visitors do your sites get?
      • How do you get traffic? (don't say ping.fm,or similar, all my sites are submitted and I didn't see any traffic improvement..)

      etc, etc...
if it was just about building a site with 3-5 product reviews, then we would all be millionaires by now..

Nah, it's been fine so far. I really haven't noticed any dips in my sites because of that. I guess I was a bit heated that they would start doing that, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

I think the reason is because the google pages offer little in regards to valuable content. You make valuable content, good to go

        Hi Sheryl

I hope you and family are well.

I bought it and believe it is well worth the $27 (dont buy on first page and close out second page which is an email optin in form).

The course is a great introduction to marketing amazon, it takes you from a to z on how to find and market products and how to write a review. While other areas of my online work are taking off Amazon remains one that I havent got a hang of yet. Dan has put a lot of work into the course and it is obvious as it comes across.

In answer to Chris's point, I have no idea what Dan said about Amazon but he does suggest that you build a list on some sites and market to them via the list but not just amazon products. What I also like is the list of alternatives he gives to Amazon -I have been around for a while  and havent seen half of the affiliate programs he suggests.

What I HATE about the course are the upsells. Not the fact he offers them as that is part of the course with IM but I absolutely hate being told "you will only see this offer once - skip it and it will be gone forever" and then when you go to the site it is there at the same price on every page of the training. In my book you either see an offer once or you don't. English is a very simple to understand - once means once or at least it should.

With regard to Dan's outburts on Tiffs page - I do think he behaved badly but I really believe it was in the heat of the moment and in response to what he considered a personal attack on his product. BUT I am sure we have all sent an email that we regretted and wish we could take back. I know I have. AND he has apologised and not just once.

I don't know Dan from the back of a bus but I bought his course and would buy it again. I didnt buy any of the upsells and dont regret not buying them. If I met him in a pub I would suggest he stop listening to whatever "guru" has advised him with regard to this product launch and get back in touch with his customers. I would tell him to back off on promoting all the other stuff - some of the bonuses are affiliate offers which also annoys me. Again no issue with making money but I think they devalue a product. Let us in to see what we paid for, put it into action and then after helping us for a while send out whatever product promotions fit with the initial product offering. That works for me.

If you read his JV request here in the forum the tone is a bit like his initial response to the posts on Tiffs blog. Also his response above here in the thread is a little off as well. Ideally he should have apologised for the mix up with existing customers, explained there is a massive issue at clickbank and he will sort them out asap. He kinda did that but could have use a softer more client friendly tone.

So perhaps he does need to go to charm school for a couple of weeks or to learn how to write a text reponse with a smile (which is difficult) but he is young and he will learn (or meet someone who teaches him lol). But do I believe his product is worth the investment - yes. I believe he offers good value and he is genuine about trying to help (he also wants to make some cash himself).

WSO link deleted by moderator -- against the rules.

I have also read the Amazonian Profit Plan and while it a great book on how to write reviews etc it is very pricey especially when you can get Jans video step by step training for the same money. That is my view anyway.

        Hope that helps a bit

        Take care

        Rach

    Hiya Rach,

I couldn't agree with your assessment of this product. Furthermore, he does go into marketing Amazon products on the foreign Amazon sites, he uses Germany as his example. It is really quite interesting and seemingly easy to do! This would be really beneficial as an additional and, as of yet, an apparently untapped income stream.

As an aside, haven't we all come a long way since the days of marketing those sites on Ebay!

    Hope you are keeping well,

Now I had to buy it specifically because of this thread. I really should stop commenting on these review threads, they end up taking way too much of my time

        Anyway, here are my thoughts.

The product is well laid out, and does a good job of explaining many basic concepts, and it is in-depth in terms how to do a number of mechanical things related to building a content based site. Compared to a number of downright useless products that have been widely promoted recently (that I know of) Dan's product is - admittedly - better. There are several useful tips and things that some people might not know. Nothing new for me, but I have probably been in this longer than most people (10 years).

I would describe it as a good introductory course. If you want to ramp up your income to 5 figures per month, it's going to take a different strategy - or a whole lot of this type of sites. The one-sided verdicts in this thread that this is somehow the one and only answer for people looking the become a super affiliate (maybe because they know/like Dan) I find quite disturbing. It is certainly NOT a lazy way to make thousands of dollars per month. Either Dan worked his butt off or there is some truth to the transparency issue I raised earlier in this thread.

I don't have time to go into great detail about each module in the course. But since it was brought up here as a particularly good thing about the product, I can't help but feel obligated to add a few comments:

The part about foreign markets may sound alluring on the surface, but in reality it is mind-boggingly flawed. It seems that he did a bit of research on the German population, and that they live in smaller spaces, and therefore they don't have space for bigger things in their homes and would be less likely to buy such items. Anyone who lives in Europe will surely have a good laugh about this. Sure, maybe there is a higher concentration of people who live in urban areas in smaller homes/apartments - but millions and millions of people live in residential/rural areas. But that's really completely irrelevant. It's about how many people search for specific products: Demand. It's not about how big or small people's living quarters are. Just because a lot of people don't have lawns, doesn't mean that those who do have lawns don't need a lawn mower.

Speaking of keywords -- he shows an example of how many people search for a specific product name in Germany. One example is a keyword (in English), but of course he chooses targeting "Germany" in the adwords keyword tool. I've managed seven figure per year Adwords accounts (lots of product specific keyword research+campaign data). It is a FACT that Google is notoriously bad at determining keyword search volume for international terms (in english) when targeting non-english areas (countries). In other words the keyword search volumne shown is pretty much ALWAYS wildly inflated. This is highly annoying and a problem for pretty much everyone who actually builds foreign language content based websites because Google really is the only source of data we have. Anyone who actually create sites in foreign languages ought to know this.

And -- for those keywords that do matter, don't think for a minute that there aren't other (local German) internet marketers who are going for the same terms. Non-english languages aren't some sort of secret Wild West thing. The competition is in fact FIERCE for important terms. I know first hand. In Denmark alone there are huge internet marketing companies who specialize in content production, backlinking, and so on. On top of that there are more and more people are geting into creating SEO sites; useful as well as spammy thin sites. It's just not that easy.

Something that resembles a positive review from Martin Brock? I must have done something right

To answer your points, I have worked no more than one hour per day the past 9 months on those websites and have been earning more than ever before (that's excluding figures generated through my launch), so I feel that my message on my sales letter is accurate.

As for the foreign sites, out of all the German sites that I tested these techniques on, it was the niches that offered smaller sized products that did the best. I'm merely reporting on what worked for me.

Maybe it's not because of space issues in the customers house, but I'm willing to put my money on that being the reason why.

In Germany, isnt the majority of the population concentrated in cities? And for the rural peeps, wouldn't they less likely have access to an internet connection (just like in the US)? Thus, the issue with conversions on large objects.

How's conversion related to internet access .. Either you have an internet connection or you don't. In other words, if you were right it would be related to traffic volume, not conversion rate. Probably around 30% of the German population is non-urban. That's 20 million people or so. A lot of that is residential areas. Anyway, all of that really doesn't matter search engine marketing is first and foremost about demand/supply - and there is plenty of search volume and Adwords bids for large sized items in Germany - and even in Denmark that is under a 10th of the population of Germany people buy large sized items online.

And from the research that I ran, there wasn't enough search volume on the large items to make them worthwhile to promote. Sure, there may be a few items, but from all the research I ran, it was the smaller items that had the search volume to warrant working with my system.

The same can be said for the sites I tested this method on. The only ones that I had success on were the smaller sized items.

          Anyway, here are my thoughts.

The product is well laid out, and does a good job of explaining many basic concepts, and it is in-depth in terms how to do a number of mechanical things related to building a content based site. Martin, thanks for the review, you mention that "if you want to ramp up your income to 5 figures per month, it's going to take a different strategy". What strategy do you suggest? DSA is good for me in my rookie stage and I'm utilizing Dan's instruction. I would love to hear your ramp up suggestions.

Well, that's clearly not an accurate statement...

It's all about scaling up. Just like anything you do online.

What I meant with the strategy thing was a comment about this somehow being the "easy route to 3k per month and quickly scaling it up to 11k per month" or whatever the figures were exactly.

Of course it's about scaling up. You can scale this up, you can scale a lot of things up. The question is when/if you will be in a position to do so.

If it was that easy scaling up your income from physical products with Amazon or similar, I wouldn't expect to see such a significant portion of the income proof attributed to clickbank/paypal.

And Richard - this thread isn't really about my strategies, and it would take quite a while to write what I do. But I'll gladly send you a review copy of anything I might release in the future if you want my perspective.

My course is not purely on physical product marketing. It is a hybrid course, so the comments about Clickbank proof are irrelevant. That training is covered in my List Building Samurai Bonus which is also disclosed on my sales page as well.

I am reporting on what I did to make those incomes on my site. I started out learning the ropes with physical product aff marketing, then progressed into the more advanced digital product marketing.

I hate to do this here, but does anyone know how to contact Dan? (Or maybe you'll see this, Dan.)

I purchased Turbo Commissions through his link and have been attempting to contact him about the promised bonuses for the past several days.

I've sent a PM, used his customer support link, sent an email to the address he's using for another promotion (other contact emails I have for him are not working)... and I have heard nothing back.

Just purchased ~$27 copy no up sells. looks like Daniel did a great job with over delivering and everything is real easy to navigate through. I have a few niche sites that could use some better review/structure and believe this product is going to really come in handy.

I live in England, and own three rental flats in Hamburg, and I'm not laughing.

It seems valid to point out to a mainly American audience that there are cultural differences between the US and Europe. Of course any such comments are generalisations. And the great thing about internet marketing is the freedom to do what you believe is best, so anyone who wants to promote sales of lawnmowers or Cadillacs in Germany is free to do so.

I do agree that Europe/Germany is not a soft backwoods market. Easy money remains elusive.

As a general review comment I would say that this product is well worth the $27/37 price tag.

I wanted to come in and say two things:

1.) Dan did come back in several times and apologize and finally "got it" I think. It wasn't the upsells I was annoyed about but his attitude to people who disagreed with them. I'm fine with his apology.

2.) I just bought DSA - not through my own link - the core only. Why? I was enjoying the product and I personally don't need any hand holding so it won't matter to me if Dan's got a 'tude or not. I may continue my review. I haven't decided. Some of my list felt let down because they wanted the review. But I don't want any freebies from Dan being an obstacle when I know he's a bit hot headed and I want to be blunt and transparent. I have some thinking to do.

I think thats great Tiff - it is a good product and he does try to deliver and to be honest I really do think he is/was listening to them "pile em high and keep it coming" type "gurus" and not to people in IM for the long term. He is only young and he has a lot to learn but I do think his heart is in the right place. I think he has yet to master the art of text speaking where facial expressions cannot soften the hot headed approach.

If you do a review and HE listens (which he seems to have as to be fair he did come back and apologise more than once - a little bit more each time ) to what you say I think he will gain a huge amount and his next product offering/launch maybe even more successful.

I do think people should give him a break though - he made a mistake on your blog but he has now apologised so everyone should move on. You have accepted the apology so maybe some will. The amount of people saying they wont buy a product from him after he has apologised is in my view a little harsh. I mean who has never made a mistake?

And I have been watching more of the videos and they are good. He does share plenty of tricks and in one he has a rant but it is funny although if he put it on paper it would probably not be seen that way.

@Michael - yeah we sure have come a long way although I am still buying too much stuff:rolleyes:

Just the info about going into foreign markets is worth the $37 alone. Think about it. You get to page one of Google in Germany and you make 3 sales on a $200 or Euro product and Bam! you just made back your whole investment. If you are serious about building an Amazon business I would get Dan's course for sure. I don't have any experience with the up sells so I can't comment on those.

        Cheers

Oh bugger - now reading your review Martin I'm back to sitting on the fence. Although this is very reasonably priced I don't want to spend money on another product that really isn't going to offer me a good solid plan.

Truth be told - I'm not making as much money as I'd like to be and I'm looking for something to get me going. I've read product after product - probably too many, just like most people. But I've never committed to one thing long enough or really seen major success with one thing (except the site flipping on Ebay but that isn't what it use to be).

I don't want something that I can 'sleep my way to earning $3000' or whatever, I'm willing to put in the work, but I just want to know is this a really solid plan that will work and will earn money if you follow it???

What you are getting when you buy my course is literally everything I have been doing the last year and a half to make money online through amazon/physical product sites and list building. You can apply your list building techniques to your physical product sites, and vice-versa. I use list building on one of my physical product sites and make anywhere up to $2.5k/m with that list. The techniques taught in the second part of my training are universal and can be applied to mostly any niche (In the training I list the niches that it works best in).

The goal of my main training is to get you up to $3k/m taking the easy route - physical product marketing. Once you master those techniques, going to digital route will make much more sense to you (that's what happened with me - physical product marketing gave me a chance to earn and figure out the basics to making money with affiliate sites and lists). From there you can move on to the more competitive niches with your new-found experience (it really is much easier once you have initial successes). You can also scale your physical product sites up to whatever income level you want (people out there using this same method to make up to $14k/m with Amazon alone). It just depends on what interests you more.

      Thanks,
      Dan

The price is going up at midnight Monday (it's Monday here already but not sure about over there) and unlike most threats of putting the price up I'm pretty sure Dan is going to put it up - by reading a comment above that he made.

There is also a money back guarantee and I'm not saying for anyone to just buy it and ask for your money back, but if it doesn't live up to what it claims then you can always get a refund. I think with anything, as long as you are willing to put in the time and effort and follow it 100% then you should be able to make it work. I'm saying this as someone who hasn't bought it yet, but that is generally how it is with most things. Staying motivated and focused is the big problem!

The Most Important Steps: 1) Define a goal , 2) List the easiest steps to accomplish it , 3) Focus and Work hard , 4) Don't buy another WSO until you have applied the one that you are working on , 5) Evaluate your progress constantly , 6) Tweak, Correct and Improve , 7) Rinse and Repeat

My 2-Cents.... Dan's Dead Beat offer is new, but his training in selling physical products has been around for some time. The original product was Profitzon and offered in the WSO section. I am a Profitzon customer, and I can tell you that the training is top notch! I have built a number of successful sites using his methods. The only reason I'm not a Dead Beat customer yet is because we are waiting to be upgraded. If you need proof on Dan or his product, just search Profitzon, and look at all the positive reviews.

Still $37, which is disappointing. I hate promoting things and telling my list it's going up and then the vendor makes me look like a liar.

Didn't Dan bet someone $100 it was going up on Monday? Looks like that post is gone.

But I guess for those who have not bought the price didn't go up for them so that's a good thing.

I got this. The course is okay. I think for newbies it would be a good course but if you already know the principles of affiliate marketing and micro-site niche marketing this won't be the magical button (hint: there is no magic/easy button).

But for $37 you do get a lot good information so it's worth it. I would pass on the upsells and the other stuff.

      Hi.

I read the salesletter, but still am a little confused.

Is this course a beginning to end plan for being an affiliate in Amazon - from niche selection to site creating how to that is specific to this course, to traffic and maintaining the site after that?

Are the sites made with WP platform or html sites? How long does it usually take to go from point 1 to start seeing traffic and sales? Are these large content sites or mini pages sites?

In what format does this course come with - video only or with pdf manual?

      Thanks.

I decided to purchase it too. I have just briefly gone into the members area but haven't watched any of the videos yet so it's too soon to give my opinion. There certainly seems to be a lot of content on there though.

Although, I can now understand what everyone was complaining about with the upsells - it is a bit of a pain to have to go through 3 pages of offers before you can finally get to the product you have bought. Honestly Dan, there must be a better way to promote those upsells than making your customers HAVE to view each of those sales pages. It would be interesting to see how much success you actually have with those.

The guy keep starting his emails with "Thank you for your email below. You will receive a reply shortly." try to making me think that i requested that crap, which i definitely did NOT and never will do!

              EDIT:

The guy seems to have a Blogspot blog too:

I googled his email address "ubermensch@gmail.com" which gave me this
There is a Clickbank link on that blog that goes to

As you see "?hop=justdialuk" is the Clickbank spam affiliate ID from this moron and i will report that to Clickbank too!

              EDIT 2:

His Plimus affiliate id = seventhmillionaires

ARggg!! Thanks for the heads up!

This guy is so annoying every time I shut him down he pops up with a new domain under a different plimus ID. Pain in the ass dealing with Plimus to get the accounts shut down too.

              I'm contacting them now, thanks

Back in Feb./March, 3 people including myself asked Dan if DBSA was the same a ProfitZon, 'cause we already had that. Dan never responded ( bad, Dan!), and hadn't shown up on this thread since April, so I figured he was carefully avoiding answering that (didn't want to expose himself as a "repackager," maybe?

Ben Armstrong, above, says he thinks the ARE exactly the same, but I'd like to hear it and clear it directly with Dan, and I notice he hopped back on the thread earlier this month to address another problem.

C'mon Dan, answer this. ProfitZon was pretty good, and we need to know if this adds anything new, or not. Alternatively, I could just buy it, find out for myself, and get a refund it it's the same old same old, but I don't like to play with Warrior WSO's that way.

Yes, Dan mentions Profitzon and says (if I remember correctly because it's been awhile) that he changed the name. He might have added some changes or updated a couple of things but it is pretty much the same product.
Just so you know, I bought DBSA and I think it is a good product and Dan explains things in an easy to follow format.
I know you are looking for Dan to answer your question but I hope this helps clear it up.

If you were on Dan's owners list for Profitzon, he did email an upgrade link for DBSA not long after it came out. It was really cheap and well worth the upgrade.

I wasn't aware there was a requirement that I had to respond to every question brought up here....

But I'm pretty sure I responded to that question a number of times in this thread. Deadbeat Super Affiliate was originally going to be called Profitzon 2.0, but I decided to start building my Deadbeat brand instead.

Profitzon 1.0 is included with Profitzon 2.0 (now known Deadbeat Super Affiliate)

Let's all remember that this was conveniently relaunched right before the holiday season (not that there's anything wrong with that), though. So a true indicator of its worth will be after the season for me.

I mean I had one teeny Squidoo lens making me $500 a month - and this year I have IPK and BTF sites from early on (IPK from last year and the year before) so I'll be able to compare if this is what elevates my earnings.

Newbies to Amazon may make good money using DSA, but may still benefit from the use of other courses too. Either way, let's all enjoy our Christmas earnings!

I gave some thought to ordering, but the commissions are so small from Amazon wouldn't one need many sites on different niches to make any money at all. I tried in the past to promote Amazon products and made about $36, so I gave up. Maybe people will buy during the holiday season, but what about after that?

I bought the course. I paid the $37 because I didn't realize there was a flippin' SECOND exit script offering the discount. Anyway, who cares. it's $10 difference.

I didn't really like the sales letter or the video because I found them cheesy. And I was really annoyed with several affiliate marketers who promoted this thing like it's going to make you rich or something.

Anyway - I LIKE THE COURSE. I bought it to pick up some tips that would benefit me. As long as you pick up 1 or 2 useful tips it's worth while. I picked up more than that.

The other BIG reason I bought the course is so that I could hand over the training to my outsourced staff in the Philippines. I have guys working for me full time and I like to put them on various projects. Some are proven projects, and some are experiments. To me, Amazon is proven. Dan's system make sense.

So I gave my guys my training and they'll implement it in my business.
In all honesty, this is probably a perfect "newbie" training but it is also perfect training to give to a new hire to see if he or she is worth their salt.

Imagine the process of interviewing someone for a full time job working with you, and then handing them this training as their first major task. Their job is to find a niche, find the products, pick an URL, write the reviews, install Wordpress, do the social bookmarking, and report back to you when that's all done.

Then you see how they did. Perfect affiliate training program for your staff!

Whenever I hire someone now this will probably be one of the first assignments I give them just to test them out.

(I didn't buy any of the upsells either)

I would second Rachel's views on DSA. I buy a lot of products (and I mean a lot) and given the low price of DSA, when referred to it by a affiliate, I thought if I pick up just one new tip from it, it would be well worth the price.

Not only is there a great deal of real content, it's also so well organised and the information so clearly conveyed that even a newbie could pick and run with this and, dare I say it, succeed.

Thanks, Dan, for a super product which is worth a great deal more than the humble price tag on it at present. I've bought many a similar product for $97 or even $197 which have not been a patch on content compared to the DSA.

By the way, I loathe upsells, downsells and every which way sales that follow when one clicks on the "Pay Now" button for the first product. I don't mind, however, if the vendor, like Dan, gives me the option to decline the invitation. What bugs me is when sites don't have that option clearly visible and overdo the number of upsells. Two is bearable, more is just plain irritating.

I bought Dan's Profitzon 1 product and thought it was excellent! I'm just curious if Deadbeat's 2000+ new customers and other Amazon affiliate programs like Easy Paycheck Formula, which was also popular, have flooded the Amazon affiliate market. I understand there's a bunch of products on the site, but that's a lot of marketers trying to do basically the same thing. Finding niches may not be as easy as they say it is. What are your thoughts? What are some other good affiliate sites?

If he sells 2000 copies I bet only 200 ever build a single Amazon site. There are TONS of niches. I wouldn't worry.

      Hey,

Profitzon is the predecessor to DSA. DSA has more advanced techniques and information on list building as well which you can use in your profitzon sites to make more money. DSA also has focus on other physical product networks outside of just Amazon.

      Thanks!

    Ah here it is:

    Hi. It's Dan.

Long story short, I screwed up.

I increased the price of the Deadbeat Super Affiliate
to $67 last night. It didn't go over so well, so we
made an emergency decision to revert back to $37 price point.

Since you took early action on my offer before the price
increase (if you got this email, you paid $37), I wanted
to give you something as a way to make up for my mistake.

In the webinar section of your members area, I added
a 2nd webinar which is between a fellow Amazon Master and
I where we talk about our businesses (Chris, my co-host, does
up to $14,000/m an Amazon, averaging $6k/m) so there's a ton
of golden nuggets of info shared throughout this webinar:

    Deadbeat Super Affiliate

    (you have to login)

Again, my way to make up for that little mistake. This webinar
alone is worth the entire price you paid for my course, so I
think it should do the trick

Here's a link to get instant access to the Amazon Masters webinar:

    Deadbeat Super Affiliate

It's labeled "Amazon Masters w/ Chris Guthrie"

    Thanks for understanding!

      Hi.

Yes, unfortunately we ended up having to lower the price back down to $37. We had it running at the $67 price point for a day and let's just say it was a miserable, miserable, miserable failure.

I'm in the process now of issuing refunds to the people who paid for it at the higher price. For the people who took early action at the lower price point, I added a very nice webinar on Amazon marketing to their accounts to try and make up for it. I emailed all my customers to let them know what the deal was.

I know... I know... not the most elegant of moves... but learning on the go here.

Definitely won't make the same mistake again in the future, and I apologize if this issue has caused you trouble. I tried to keep it at the $67 rate for as long as possible so that people could see the price change.

      Thanks,
      Dan

I have 20+ amazon review sites that make me all together around 100$ a month, and just two of them are on page 1 no matter what I do with the others, and they get about 10 uniques a day.
That is why I constantly ask how many of those sites do we have to create and how to rank them high, what traffic do we need to get Dan's results...cause building the review site is the easiest part here...

I already use many of the pricinples outlined in this course.

Like some others, I purchased the course in the hope that I pick up some new tips (and yes ..I have)

I currenty have 4 sites, which I haven't touched in over a year. Averaging about $50 to $200 per site every month. And I'm doing nothing to promote them at the moment. All traffic is organic.

How much will you make - Depends on your niche selection, competition, site quality and promotion efforts.

The method does work IF you apply it. (like anything else).

The only thing I've done differently is that my sites are not wordpress. They are all HTML static site, and all are in the top 10 on google for the main targeted keywords I'm after. Surprisingly I've also not had to do a lot of link building to get to this stage, but will focus some efforts on this in the coming months.

      To your success!

That's a good average figure to aim for with your sites. If each of your sites aren't making $50-$200/m, you are either doing something wrong, or something to do with your niche.

I have some sites that completely failed - a few never even made 1 sale. But that's OK because these sites are so easy to set up you just move onto the next.

I know a lot of you are thinking 'why should I make $100/m sites when I can do $2,000/m+ on CB and everything else?'

        Well two reasons:

        1) Do you have a $2,000/m site yet? If not, you may want to be a bit more realistic about how easy (or how not so easy) it is to build a $2,000/m site. You definitely won't be able to do that in a few days...and most likely will have to do continuous work on it to make it succeed.
        2) You build these sites once and you're pretty much done. Most of my sites haven't been touched in over a year and still earn just as much today.

        Thanks!

Woo hoo - I just made my first sale on my Deadbeat Super Affiliate website. I actually haven't worked on the site at all for the last week as I just haven't had time, but logged on to Amazon this morning to see I'd made a sale.

My site isn't ranking all that highly, I have to do more backlinking to get higher ranking, but I'm quite happy that I made a sale even when it isn't ranking well yet. I hope that's a good sign of things to come when I stated getting higher rankings

Deadbeat Super Affiliate | this is the link to my 'progress review' I guess you could call it. I've been recording my progress on my blog.

I bought DSA on the 8th November and started watching the modules that day. I installed Wordpress for my site on 11th Nov and I added my first page of content on the 12th Nov, the second page on 15th Nov and then another 4 pages over the next few days.

At the moment I have 6 pages of content but I do plan on adding more I just haven't had much time to work on it for the last week or so.

I have done a small amount of backlinking, nothing major. I have done a couple of Squidoo lenses, written one article and submitted it to 6 or 7 article directories and also done some backlinks from my other blogs and that's about it really.

So I do plan on doing a heap more backlinking plus add more pages to the site.

All up it's been less than 3 weeks and that is not doing as much as what I should be doing, so I'm pretty happy with that

Yes - I used a WYSIWYG builder and did quite a lot of hand-coding as well.

You're gonna laugh when I tell you this, but the majority of my sites are built using Frontpage.

I've heard many comments from users indicating this program is buggy and not web friendly, but I haven't found any issues at all and my sites seem to rank well in google, so I don't think it really matters what program you use, as long as you optimise your site for best results.

Reason for Frontpage - It's the very first website builder I've ever used from day one to learn the basic of html. I've also built some hobby websites for friends using NVU, and Komposer with similar results. Horses for courses.

I am planning some projects for the new year, and for those I intend to use Worpress (for the very first time).

I just wanted to give an update on my thoughts. I really like this system and although I'm not making money yet, it has only been a couple of weeks so still early days.

I have only created one website following this system and I am still adding more posts to it. Dan's course suggests around five or six posts, but I am going to do a few more - just my personal preference.

I've started doing some backlinking also and will continue to do more and hopefully when my backlinks start getting indexed I should see some visitors and hopefully some income.

I really is a good system that is simple to follow. I have bought a lot of products over the years and this is one of the best (and probably one of the cheapest) so I give it the thumbs up - good value product for the price!

I bought this and also missed the $10 discount on the exit pop. I felt like Dan did a good job presenting his information and it was worth the cost of even $37.

I have been getting into Amazon sites for the last 6 months or so and there is money there. I can't say that I am building my sites exactly like Dan is, but something along those lines is working for me.

As far as I am concerned the best approach is to select higher priced, evergreen items. Those are your best bets. Build the site, get your individual product pages ranked and leave them alone.

Pappy- I agree with you on Front Page. I have tried the high dollar editors and always come back to good ole FP.

Easy Paycheck Formula uses article marketing & web. 2.0 sites to generate Amazon sales. It's more concerned with ranking aritcles than your own site. while....

Deadbeat Super Affiliate - is more about building your own site & ranking that site.

Both products are very good, they just attack the marketing slightly differently.

Just a quick chime in here (I buy anything that is even remotely related to Amazon it seems). This course is easily worth the $27 asked for it. Lots of hours of content. Plus all the video's are fully downloadable (instead of waiting for them to stream across - a pet peeve of mine). Dan has thrown out some good stuff on his list as well.

I've only watched a few videos so far so I'll reserve judgment but it appears it could be as good as another Amazon based training I've also gone through which is priced at $97 (a good, informative course)....as with all of it, the trick is to actually apply it.

That's my New Years goal....no more buying--except domain names, etc....I have learned alot but I've probably learned more by starting to apply some of that information...

Big surprise, huh? Probably the best tip I've read this past year is to spend just as much time doing as reading, etc.....even in the beginning.

I'm pretty sure which 97 product you're talking about. In what way is it better than the 97 dollar one? Is it better in terms of traffic generation or is it better in terms of conversion ability?

I probably shouldn't be making comparisons--I edited to say could be as good--but again, the proof is in the pudding--ya gotta try it out, and keep trying..and then try again.

No way to know about traffic or conversions of anything until you actually try it...but the Deadbeat course is worth the money ($27) most definitely..hope that helps.

I purchased DBA on launch day. Its a very complete program. Its all video based, so don't expect PDFs for offline reading. With that one caveat, I can recommend it for anyone wishing to get a fundamental understanding of Affiliate marketing with Amazon.com (and pick up some very good tips to shortcut the learning process)

Its the #1 reason I created the "Amazonia" template to allow DBA users to automate the creation of professional quality DBA sites.

I'm pretty sure they're exactly the same product.

In the first Deadbeat video he talks about how it was originally called profitzon but they changed the name at the last minute before launching.

        As for a review....

This was my first (and only so far) IM product. It's a great guide for anyone knew to marketing physical products. I followed his strategies fairly closely at first but have since tweaked things here and there to my own liking and used better strategies for backlinking etc that I picked up elsewhere.

If you're new to IM or promoting physical products then DSA is a great place to get started with easy to follow step by step instructions.

I am happy with his course, and have not quite completed the last part of it yet, but have two fully-functional websites up that are getting decent traffic.

I actually did not choose Amazon as my first affiliate, but am almost ready to put up a site with physical products.
