Anyone using a free VPN service?

Hey folks just wanted to ask if anyone could recommend a free VPN service for use with Scrapebox.

I'm currently using Security Kiss' free service, but it's quite easy to cap their daily allowance of 300mb. Wonder if anyone here has used an alternative?

Thanks

You will search HIGH and LOW for one only knows how long and still not find what you are looking for. Most IMers don't realize this but these free services start out thinking they can maintain the fort until they actually start charging.

    And then it happens...

They get hit with a flood of traffic and are literally forced to shutdown because they cannot afford to upgrade to meet the demand. This is what happens to free VPNs, free RSS Hosting sites and free web hosting sites that don't offer upgrades, so forth and so on.

IMHO, you might as well stop looking and PAY THE MAN!

Security Kiss has a good pricing structure...

Security Kiss is fine as long as you dont download much. However I know Cyberghost VPN is another free alternative. Takes more space than the other though.

I completely agree with jeffreyhuan. I use PureVPN service since a while and I had no problem. It's so fast that I can't see any connection speed difference.

At $49.95 for 12 months instead of $143.40, it's a no brainer! And it's more than 50% off!

Using vpn instead of private proxies is a better option, there is a good service provided by vpntraffic. but if you are on a tight budget than shared proxies are good.

Forget the free ones. Consider Cisco VPN or Netmotion VPN.

For scrapebox it is best to go with private proxies or semi private proxies. VPN has overheads and that's why it uses more bandwidth & is much slower.
    proxy-hub.com & buyproxies.org worked well for me.

SB need private proxies else it is very hard to scrape blogs as well as other resources, apparently the vpn service and the free proxies couldn't meet SB. There a lots of free VPN service available, but they have the same problem, unstable and slow speed. I highly suggest you try HMA VPN or Strong VPN which I used before.

Free are always not good enough. So,i would suggest everyone here to avoid free service and use the paid one. There are a lot of security or privacy facts.

I'd recommend just getting a premium VPN, they will work much better and their IPS won't be blacklisted on popular sites.. can get a good vpn, for example Witopia for only $50 for a whole year!

Well seems free VPN can be good sometimes https://www.bestvpnservicemag.com/fr...disadvantages/

      1. Cyberghost

Cyberghost does offer a free version of their VPN, which allows access to their VPN services. However, it means that the person can only access the VPN for a total of 3 hours per day and are only going to utilize a few of the servers that are available by the VPN. Learn more about CyberGhost.

Don't waste your time with free vpn services.
I use private internet access for my vpn. It's fast and reliable.
It cost like $7/month or you can pay yearly for $39.95
Been using them for years...no issues.

Scrapebox is still great for scraping targeted blog sites for manual posting. There's just so much functionality within Scrapebox that you can really drill and dissect the list of scraped urls to your liking.

The days of mass auto posting is not as effective as it once was, as that's what I'm assuming you're referring to.

One disadvantage of using free VPNs is having limited security. I tried quite a few in the past like Hotspotshield, Cyberghost, Tunnelbear, ProXPN, Spotflux but I only got limited access so I decided I should switch to a paid one. A friend recommended ZenVPN so I tried their one month access then I ended up getting the yearly subscription. If you value your privacy, better get a paid one.
