I haven't scratched the surface of AP but it much more than just a theme.

One example is the squeeze page generator.... you can get the plugin free (it may be on their blog and is probably not on the sales page now).

Another example is the built in affiliate link cloaker. There are about a dozen or so widgets that come with it.

I believe it will become the "go to" marketing theme for WP.

    HTH.

BTW - This is being promoted by many marketers and there are some webinars where you can see the "behind the scenes" of what it can do and how to use it.

Haven't heard about Authority Pro until now so I checked out the site.

Looks interesting *but* I could not find a working demo.

I'm also wondering what fellow Warriors who've purchased this theme think.

        Hey Kevin

Yeah we wanted to "see" a working demo too.

Hasn't anybody let Alex know that 75 foot sales letters drive people nuts.

We just want to SEE what it can do - and how fast.

        Regards

            Hey John

Looks like Alex has been reading this thread.

A video demo just popped up.

Anyway, just type in the URL and then do /apdemo and you should be good to go.

It's one of those annoying ones that doesn't allow you to skip bits but the product looks like it is at least worth a look given what we saw on the vid.

            Regards

Can you provide a link to one or more of these webinars? I'd like to see this in action before going any further.

Also is this AP something you upload as a plugin/theme after the initial set up of the WP site using Fantastico Deluxe?

The sales letter isn't very clear.

User comments would be much appreciated.

The sales letter is disengenous, I think. They say not $297, not $197 but only $97.
But when you click the order button $97 is only for single site. Multi Site license Will cost $197. Put me off right there, otherwise I probably would have bought it.

If they spent 20 pages telling you what it could do instead of hyping it then the 20 pages might be worth the read...

    Hi Guys

There is an AffiliatePro video demo but its soooooo slow and breaks up every few seconds with long pauses in between making the whole demo pointless. Anyone able to offer a solution to a less frustrating viewing experience? Would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

      Hi!

Just Down Load the .FLV video.

      Use
      DownloadHelper
      and
      FreeFlashPlayer 5.0

      All free.

I just continue doing other things until DL's finish,
then view it with control: start/pause/restart/etc.

My, the things we learn at WF!

Oh! PS: There seems to be more behind the curtain:

      Look here:
      http://jointventures.jvnotifypro.com/

Scroll down to: "JV Launched Just This Past Tuesday, November 9th 2010"

      Find:

"97$ or $197 front end (either single site
license or multi-site), the one-time upsell for $77 and
the continuity upsell for $67 a month."

        Hi,

I know this is Authority Pro vs. Flexibility Theme, I'm wondering if anyone has compared Authority Pro with OptimizePress, which sells at the same price.

        Thanks

Considering that flexsqueeze is $127 and can't do 1/4 of what this can do it's a steal. Plus you have to $47 for 90 day access to get the extra stuff.

Now if you want to see a working demo the sales page is part of the theme where it's being sold at but the blog itself is that's authority pro in action
    Authority Pro Theme Official Blog

Granted you can't log in and play with it but you can see what it looks like live

        Hey Bobru

We looked for a WSO and couldn't find one.

Alex doesn't seem to bother with WSO's he seems to go straight to the wider audience of which the WF members are only a small part.

        Regards

authority pro is now launching v2, I saw the sales page and really like it. It looks even slicker and more powerful than before. Does anyone have opinions on v 2?

I know this is a little late, but I am the dude that programmed a bunch of the cool new stuff in AP2 and did a lot of the graphics.

If you (or anyone) has questions I'd be happy to help out.

      Best wishes.

I've seen the demo of authority pro...
but unlike your competitors.... there seems:
        a. MAIN CONCERN: No option to do anything with the footer?
I mean your competitors are offering a fully editable footer... (i.e. with the privacy, affiliate, contact us, pages etc.). They've even automated it, i.e. they are offering filler pages where you can input your company / product's name through the wp dashboard and it get interchanged with the filler text. Thus, creating a custom privacy page for example...
However, with your product the demo doesn't even have a footer?!

        b. MAIN CONCERN: The after purchase back-end: I couldn't find any info whatsoever about this? I mean, do you'll offer a secure download area (specifically for CB)? So that my content isn't stolen by those who haven't purchased the product...

        c. Any upsell options (mainly for CB)?

        c. Email Optin: There seems to be no email optin option in the demo blogs..

        d. I'm assuming the header, footer, background images can be changed. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

        e. Any adwords specific squeeze page? I mean google adwords seems to have a requirement for allowing clickers to be able to see the site content even if they decide not to input their email address details?

First off, it's not "mine" or my company, I just did a lot of work on and with that script. So this is not officially endorsed by the company, but more or less my insider experiences with it...that out of the way I'm still happy to offer input and share what I know.

          a. Yes you can put in links and modify the footer, include or not include it.

I don't believe it has pre-built policy pages though. Hadn't seen that elsewhere though.

          b. it's built on wordpress, you can secure content through WP accounts.

          c. you can make as many pages and upsells as you want, that's just a matter of changing the links accordingly from your payment processor, and or no-thanks link.

dunno what you mean by email option?

          d. header, footer, background, and more..plus there's a space for custom css on each post or page which will let you do anything (if you know css at all). I also programmed it so you can just drop images into the various image folders and they will be recognized for your order buttons, squeeze buttons, arrows etc that are selectable in the page builder options.

          e. don't know on the adwords thing.

          Hope that helps a little.
