Product with 80 bonuses VS. Product 5 bonuses

Which would you value higher?

A product that comes with 80 related bonuses claimed to worth $3000 OR a product with 5 highly relevant bonuses worth $250?

Personally, I think having too many bonuses cheapens the deal. Let's face it, there's no way that you can make use of so many bonuses, and if they're really worth $2000+, would they really be free?

What are your thoughts? Which one would you choose?

I will certainly value higher 5 very relevant bonuses than 80 irrelevant, but the problem here is that for each person something else may be considered relevant.
The solution may be to let people choose 5 bonuses giving a choice of 10-20 good quality products.

5 bonuses no question about it.

Having 80, would look like a discount clearance sale...and take away from your main product.

  IMO , the higher the quantity of bonus, the lower is the quality of the main product.
  
  If your main product quality is good, 1/2/3 bonus is fine, but after that, credibility goes down.
  
  And I like unique bonuses, not stuff that you see as bonus on 80 other sites...

80 bonuses would make sense if people are joining some sort of club where they are required to pay some sort of annual or monthly membership fee. The bonuses would provide a variety of resources for the members and encourage them to stay.

  IMHO, if someone has to have 10, 20, 30 or whatever bonuses to 'bulk-up' their 'real' product, to me, it doesn't say very much for the quality of his principal product.

I've got to be honest here.

I am sick to death of bonuses (unless it is something specifically related to the product that I am buying). I also really hate the "unadvertised bonus" when it does not say what the product is. I end up downloading stuff only to realise that it is already some stuff that I have already got and probably didn't want in the first place. I would rather one quality product and if there must be a bonus that it is a bonus that is directly related to the product that I am buying. What I really and truly hate is the bonus offers with a pile of stuff that has been flogged to death on the internet already.

Sorry that's just me and I hope that I haven't offended anyone.

Bonus is a waste of time. Most of the time, bonus are either outdated info or software that have few days trial.

Basically, i just focus on the item that i am buying and ignore how many bonus or what bonus that is bundled with the offer.

That being said, if you actually provide bonuses of value instead of the standard junk, then you'll stand out from the crowd.

There aren't 80 'bonuses of value' out there! They'd have to be the 'standard junk' to get to that number.

Any product that needs 80 bonuses to sell at all shouldn't be on sale in the first place.

I would have to agree with what most have posted.. 80 bonuses means the product they have is very low quality and they dont have enough faith in their product for it to sell itself.. If they have no faith in their own product then they sure dont need my money because I will have no faith in their product either..

This something all marketers should bear in mind... less IS more.

I get bored after reading the first few bonus descriptions... then click away...

It's like those guru promos when they try to convince you to buy through their affiliate link... they pile on all the old junk.

I focused 100% of my efforts into creating the highest quality product that I possibly could. I offer no bonuses. I wish more marketers would do that.

I feel that several bonuses are a distraction and in the past have caused me to lose focus and become overwhelmed. I don't want that to happen to my customers even if it means that I make less money. I think I'll make more in the long run with my loyal customer base.
