Is WP Syndicator plug-in any good?

Hello Warrior,

I was wondering if any of you guys use WP Syndicator plug-in. If you use it can you share your thoughts?

    I use it every day - it's brilliant in the most part.

    The only problem with the tool is that it's only designed to work with a few services and it only works after you post. It basically means that it's a bit of a pain to use.

    Also, it's "sold" as being a way to get traffic. The likelihood of getting traffic from your sites which use this is very slim, so I'd only use it for backlinking.

    I use it and like it. HOWEVER, I also had to use strategies to get the links it generated indexed.

    I have the plug-in too - not sure why it cant be set to automatically syndicate a % of the posts like the multiple account onlywire plugin (set the plugin to social bookmark a specific % of posts in increments of 10 - 100%, 90%, etc). I am setting more of my blogs on autoposting using wprobot and it is a pain to login to each blog and syndicate a post or two.

      I believe that the plugin now does auto-syndicate a specific number of posts that you set. However, I have an old version (1.1) and can't for the life of me find out where on earth to get the latest update. I am assuming you have the older version as well...

      Can anyone out there help us find out how to upgrade? I purchased this back as the WSO in June and now am feeling left out in the cold...

          I just found version 1.5 in my email folder. Andy, is this the latest version? I have this on 30 blogs so it is a pain to upgrade, especially if a newer version exists.

    I bought the plugin this week and will install it over the weekend. From what i read so far it seems like a great tool for backlinking. I understand that for it to be most effective, you would indeed need to "backlink the backlinks". I hate it when that happens! But I plan to give it a try anyway.

    I plan to make the plugin a central part of my backlinks strategy for 2011 and see what happens. So look out for my "report" 12 months from now!

    Does anyone know if this is a Set & Forget Plugin that can be used for autoblogs? I just want to make sure there isn't a lot of followup maintenance on a regular basis once the plugin is activated and set up. Thanks for any input

    Care to explain the "millions of platforms"? How does it actually post articles?

    Last time I used it, it only posts to a dozen platforms (not millions) and posts a snippet of your blog post (and not the article).

    Do you even know what wpsyndicator is?

    I can only presume you posted this for exposure of your own signature.

    To clarify -

    WPSyndicator has not in the past, does not now nor will ever be likely to "post your articles across millions of platforms".

    It's also fair (for full disclosure) to point out it's not even 100% reliable as sites come and go and stuff changes. We always issue updates to fix that but right now for example YouAre.com is gone and I'm in the process of replacing it.

    Also ...

    I'm going to report your post since I don't really want outright lies being posted about my product ... even ones that make it sound more awesome than cake.
