Hi I am looking for software to create flashy looking article videos. I know I could do them with Windows movie maker, but Im sure there is something better out there. Help please??

Looked at and explored plenty of solutions but GFX Vid Writer works best for me.

Here's another option I tried that was free start to finish though.

Create a PowerPoint using OpenOffice Impress. Then save as .ppt (Power Point) file format. Next uploaded to:
authorSTREAM Online PowerPoint Presentations and Slideshow Sharing

then just download your vid and you're set.

The whole process is kind of clunky but it does work and it is a free solution.

  I'd seriously recommend MAGIX photostory deluxe. It's got a wide range of professional looking transitions and effects that are pretty easy to use. Not much of a learning curve either, I produced a really professional looking vid article that converted well within an hour of first using it.

  The problem with GFX Video Writer is that the audio it produces is horrible. Other than that it works great.
  
  Honestly though, Windows Movie Maker and Paint/Power Point is the best I've used for good quality.

  I have also brought the videos into sony vegas to change them up. Real time saver ...
  
  I am sure you can bring them into WMM and change them up on the timeline.
  
  To be honest it is hard to beat sony vegas ... I use platinum and you can download a trial for free. Best price is Amazon

  My last post there is an articles to video but you need to supply the photos or video. I am sure some powerpoint or open office files could be used. Great product. Kick out a bid in about 10 minutes with article and photos in hand.

  I just found a neet litle video called Convert Articles to Videos, uses a text editor like Editplus and Microsoft Power Point. Slick as a whistle and flashy enough for me until I get my technical wings.

I use MS Powerpoint and PhotoStory 3 for Windows. Photostory works like a champ. Very easy to use and a unique feature- it creates music by itself. You just choose the tempo & style, it will create it. Fast & easy.

Hello!

I suggest you should try and check out Video Pad. It's a really effective and esay to use video creator and editor. It's handy and has less hustle. It converts into any video formats but it does takes time in saving depending on how long the video presentation is.
