Bloghatter Pro Review

Essentially, the Bloghatter Pro plus (or without) its plugins is a desktop application for remotely posting to Wordpress or Blogger blogs. It also makes it simple to import and post text files, eg PLR articles, to blogs.

Is it worth it?
If you only do moderate blogging, frankly, probably not. There is little that Bloghatter Pro does do that the *free* BlogDesk doesn't do. The features *not* offered by blogdesk are 1) importing text files en masse functionality that can be edited with Blogdesk (this is easily accomplished with Bloghatter Pro) 2) option to post via email, and 3) capability to post to Blogger blogs. The extra functionality may justify the expense if that's what you want, either for convenience of because you create a large number of blogs with an abundance of articles. That said, the 100% free Blogdesk application has capabilities that Bloghatter doesn't have, namely posting to some other blogging platforms.

Bloghatter has editing functionality that allows the doesn't to delete any unwanted articles in the editing window (eg duplicates) after they're imported.

How about the Bloghatter Pro plugins (pay extra to get those)?
If you're going to purchase plugins for finding and posting article directory articles, images, or tags, there are lots of superior ones out there. Lots of free plugins are competitive too, if not better. However, image finding and video finding functionality per post in the editing window or en masse are features not offered in many desktop applications (the Wordpress Zemanta plugin is the closest I can think of at this point in time).

Is Bloghatter Support Good?
I don't know. A support request I sent out about the post-articles-by-email feature never got answered.

    Thunderbird,

    Thanks for the review!

So does BlogHatter only work for loading content to one blog?

Or are you able to write an article, spin it, and have the article post to many blogs with a unique version?

    Thanks!

Yes, it does have spin functionality but must work in conjunction with "The Best Spinner" which requires license purchase.

Another benefit if Bloghatter Pro is to search for keyword related images for a single article or en masse (by title or tag) for all articles.

      • Im looking for some feedback from bloghatter users...... Im trying to use bloghatter as part of a total solution for rolling out large groups of new blogs, adding posts/content, then backlinking the new posts.

1- I have the blog creation/cloning process down.

2- I use overseas rewriters using The Best Spinner to provide me with hundreds of unique articles.

3- I use bloghatter to upload and schedule blog posts on all the blogs.

4- THIS IS THE STEP I CANT FIGURE OUT YET -- Backlinking the new posts. I have a small team of link builders that build low PR and high PR links to my content. How do I get these people a list/spreadsheet of the blog posts, their posting dates, and keywords/anchor text to target?

I dont mind using the outsourced link builders and I would also be open to using some automated software to help building links to the blog posts.

Anyone have any ideas how or where I get a list of all the scheduled blog posts, URLS, keywords for each post, out of bloghatter?

        Thanks all!!

Have the workers use an RSS reader and subscribe to the blogs that you want them to work on. The new posts would be delivered right into their RSS reader, and then THEY could provide you with a report of how they backlinked to it.

Maybe there's some software that will convert RSS to CSV for you, that way you'd have a spreadsheet?

          Just some ideas.

I use bloghatter and give it a thumbs up. If you have a lot of content to post to your blog you can load it up and tell it how often you want it to publish a new post. It imports text files en masse or you can paste articles into the interface individually.

I haven't used any of the plugins.

    • Ive been giving bloghatter a test run and its working great so far...!

Im rolling out a large number of blogs and Im trying to automate things as much as possible. What other plugins or software are people using in conjuction with bloghatter to enhance automation, backlinking and SEO for semi autoblogs?

      AutoBacklinks to posts?
      Auto post RSS submissions?
      Auto Bookmarking?

Im using cbnet ping optimizer which only pings when the post goes live and pings a large list of site.

Any other suggestions on other plugins/tools to use in conjunction with bloghatter?

I highly recommend the 'black hat' ezine article and youtube plugins donato is offering. If you have an account with The Best Spinner the ezine article plugin ties in seamlessly with it.

        Good luck

        Matthew
