Remember yesterday when I was looking for an Amazon Plugin because I couldn't figure out ReviewAzon. Well once you figure it out, this is one awesome plugin that can do everything except make you toast. I can't believe what awesome things this plugin has done for my Amazon business!

I was meant to be picking this up a while back, but then I heard that Amazon removed the "customer reviews" function from their API, and I really wanted to be able to automaticaly pull them from Amazon.

Have the ReviewAzon people found some way around this, do you know?

I like WPRobot better. The "post layout" isn't as cool as ReviewAzon, BUT you get so much more features, you can add additional pages such as discussions from yahoo answers or you tube videos, and even get clickbank and commission junction products coming in.

And it costs almost the same...

ReviewAZON still shows customer reviews, but per the changes implemented on November 8th, it shows them in an Iframe. Prior to this change, Amazon provided full access to all customer reviews and allowed you to format them and display them anyway you wanted to on your site.

It's worth mentioning that Amazon has several API updates per year and ReviewAZON has been updated for each and every API change. When you are purchasing an Amazon plug-in, consider the fact that you will want and need to have the seller maintain these updates for you.

Some of these updates are significant and some developers/sellers have found it daunting to keep up to date with changes.

There is nothing more frightening than to find out you built tons of sites on a plug-in only to find out one day your site no longer works because the seller is no longer supporting or updating it.

Just something to think about going forward.

I got ReviewAzon a couple of months ago, and totally agree with you. I ALMOST asked for a refund on it, because I couldn't figure it out at first. But by slowly going through the instructions and looking at some online tutorials, as well as checking their support forum, I finally got it, and it is a terrific plug-in for Amazon affiliates. It makes some really nice looking posts, and a whole lot more.

I don't have this plugin yet but I'm going to be attending a webinar which is hosted by Chris Guthrie along with the ReviewAzon product owner Brad. This will be happening on Wednesday Dec 15.

I think they'll be demonstrating how it works and how we can use it to the best of our abilities. Plus there will be a discount on the product itself. I'm looking forward to this call.

    Cheers!
