Does anyone know anything about RAP?

Hey Warriors,
So I was sitting here about to possibly get my account banned by doing a huge "please help me by donating post" (lets just say things are falling apart and it's making xmas impossible for me and my family)....

sorry I digress. I came across an affiliat program that uses RAP or Rapid Action Profits. So I went to the RAP website directly and read a little about it and I was thinking about adding it to my signature and sending some traffic to my link so I have enough money to get my car tommorow.

Has anyone used or sold anything with RAP sold RAP itself?
Does anyone know if the instant payment of commisions is true?
And finally does anyone know where I can find a list of affiliate products that uses RAP to pay their affiliates?

As you can see I am in a real bind and I could use the money, then again who couldn't.
Thanks!
#rap

    Will,

I promote all things RAP quite a bit as part of what I do. RAP, the add ons, RAP Bank, etc.

The instant payments is the way it works and the big draw for affiliates. RAP Bank is the RAP Marketplace and a good spot to look for instant payment products.

RAP Bank*Instant Commissions Vault (no affiliate link)

    Does that help?

    Thanks,

    John

Yes, I am selling a product (my WP3 videos) through RAP. It works as advertized.

Yes, the affiliates get paid instantly and directly to their Paypal account in the proportion I've set up in RAP admin.

John already told you about rapbank.com

  • I've promoted several instant commission products with
a lot of success. Like all things you need traffic and if
you search this forum you'll find lots of free ways to get
    traffic to those offers.

The key is to promote something that people want and
are hungry for. I've learned that you don't necessarly
have to be at the top in order to be prosperous in even
the most competitive niches like make money and weight
    loss.

Find yourself a high converting product and then drive
as much traffic to it as possible. Use classified ads,
video marketing, press releases and article marketing
to get things flowing. All these methods are free and
they can bring you sales to a good offer.

But, you will have to do the work.

Does this answer your question ( SEE THE INSTANT COMMISSION PAYMENT NOTIFICATION I just woke up to this morning....):

The answer is "yes" instant commissions are true.

Ironically, we're just putting the finishing touches on an exclusive interview training series with the guys behind the 2 best instant commission networks which will be out this week!

I can personally vouch for having spoken with the folks behind RAP, Rapbank and Digiresults aS great instant commission solutions....

There's a reason why people like Erin and Bill (the brains behind Rapbank), Sid Hale (RAP Software) and Andy Fletcher (founder of Digiresults.com) have such a great reputation!

I hope this helps. I know the thought of "instant commissions" may seem doubtful but I can assure you those paypal instant payment notifications are 100% true. LOL!

    Hi Will,

Instant commissions products will perform for you better than any other option - especially in your current situation.

As John said, RAPBank will give you well over 1,000 products that you can promote, and get paid for, instantly. The trick will be to identify the potential demand for one or more of those listed, and put together a good campaign to advertise those that you select.

    Just a quick note, though...
No matter what product you choose to promote, or what commission structure the merchant has implemented, consistent action on your part is essential. Instant commissions is not a panacea. No commissions get paid, unless there are sales, and that's totally dependent on your activity.

Rapbank is awesome! And yes I have sold quite a few products through Rapbank. I am turning to them more and more these days even over Clickbank. Who I also like a lot.

Another cool thing about them is you cannot buy through your affiliate link through Paypal. Have you ever tried to buy from yourself through Paypal? This will mean more commissions for you as you cut down on the affiliates buying through their own links like in the Clickbank marketplace for example.

By no means am I the "leading" affiliate reseller of the Rapid Action Profits script.

    However, to answer your question:

I have managed to garner a few sales of RAP, and a few of the MemberPlus package too...

    Here's some graphic proof:

I can only suppose that the reason for 0 sales of the "one payment" option for the MemberPlus package is the somewhat steep price point. However, it's still a great value for what you can do with it (as many sites/domains/installs you want), and what it can do for YOU.

    Be Well!

P.S. I don't know how I "missed" this post, maybe my google alerts had a hiccup?

There's RAPBank, which has a couple thousands products in it; David Perdew's Niche Affiliate Marketing system with 1500+ products in it; The Wacky Gals who've got multiple sites with over 100 products in each one; a handful of other RAP marketers I know of who've got several dozen products hosted with RAP; not to mention nearly 2000 RAP customers who've got a dozen or more products each. (I've got a couple dozen products on a dozen different domains.)

All in all, there may well be more products being sold using RAP than are being sold through Clickbank. The thing is, you're not restricted to using just one domain. So they're all over the place.

Search Google for "powered by rapid action profits" and you'll find a lot of sites.

G says there are 3,000+ sites.

But bear in mind that because a significant number of RAP customers don't set up the templates properly, they don't have that string in their footer (or they just remove it). I'd guess that there are at least 2x-3x more sites using RAP than that. (Or, if you're like me, you change that phrase a bit so it's not so easy to find.)

I do have to agree with everyone else. RAP is an awesome place to get instant paymennts. I like it so much I even bought the product. However just a side note. I don't know if it was just me but I had a tough time setting up my first product. It wasn't as intuitive as I thought and required more work setting up than I thought.

But it is soo functional and there are soo many things that you can do with it.
        Good luck

Sorry you found it difficult, but...
did you ask for help on the RAP forum? or at our Help Desk?

Maybe you're not use to it, but you WILL get answers there.

Remember, you're setting up a sales system with protected download, an affiliate management system (including an affiliate center with affiliate tools), instant commission payments, broadcast mailing system, and (optionally) integration with your autoresponder system (via standard opt-in form, or auto opt-in).

And that's just the basic stuff (there are also a slew of Add Ons available).

But it is soo functional and there are soo many things that you can do with it.
It's gonna be more work than plugging a Clickbank ID into a WP plugin just to monetize a feed on your blog - but then... you'll get soo much more out of this.

By allowing you a very flexible set up, we had to implement a lot of different options that are as independent of one another, as possible. That flexibility comes with a learning curve.

Again, there are plenty of help resources, use them.

Well... SOMEONE has to eat the refund, right?

        What do you recommend?

        * whomever got paid by RAP -- they just go into their PayPal acct and issue a refund; this is the recommended method, and hardly anybody has had a problem with it.

        * the vendor -- the vendor can send a payment if they like, which is what most networks do (or they just deduct it from the vendor's account).

Note that RAP can pay a number of parties depending on how the site is set up: vendor, affiliate, 2nd-tier reseller, JV partner, or an unlimited number of equity partners.

I don't know why this keeps coming up. The implication is, "OMG, you mean affilates actually have to ACT RESPONSIBLY? What if they DON'T?" Uh, you cut them off -- the vendor bans them and they don't earn any more commissions. How many people do YOU know who'll refuse to issue a $10 refund that will result in them losing possibly hundreds in future commissions?

look Captain SmartAss, i'm considering purchasing RAP, and i asked a simple question that i didn't know the answer to. your sarcastic response wasn't necessary. replies like that could cost Sid sales as you're reflecting on the type of support he "may" provide to people who don't know. i hope for Sid's sake that you're not affiliated with this product because if so i won't spend 2 red pennies on it.

I used to eat affiliate refunds, but don't anymore. Nor do most of the RAP users I know of.

You can specify in the affiliate terms (i.e. on the sign up page) that affiliates are responsible for refunds on any sales that they were paid for. It costs them nothing, as they will be paid on the very next sale (after they process the refund), to catch them back up per the commission percentage.

Often, the refund request will go directly to them, anyway, but if a customer makes the request to YOU - simply forward the request to the affiliate. If the affiliate ignores the request, you can tell the customer to file a dispute w/ Paypal (and give them the affiliate's Paypal account email address). Of course, you could still decide to "eat" the refund at this point, but the affiliate is not likely to ignore a Paypal dispute from their customer.

Whether you "eat" the refund, or not... the affiliate has not lived up to their end of the affiliate agreement. Simply ban them (RAP has facilities for this), and you will get paid on any subsequent sales from their affiliate link.

RAP is very "pro" affiliate - but that doesn't mean you have to bend over for them. Expect professional conduct from them. Those that are "ethics challenged" - you don't want to be a part of your sales force, anyway.

There's no magic pill. The conversion of each product (whether on ClickBank, or RAPBank) is independent of the conversion of any other.
