This is coming out on January 11th, so you're a little early ; ). But it's from Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey, both of which have good reputations online. It's supposedly (from what i can tell) an updated and advanced version of the Niche Blueprint course, which involves e commerce. And if you want to know more about that, then search the forum for that. There are some extensive reviews there.

They sure aren't having much of a pre-launch. It comes out in a week, yet they've done next to nothing in regards to launching it so far. Odd for a $2,000 product.

Where do you get your information?

The price of the product in launch week will be
just $297. After 7 days it will revert back to its
‘actual’ price of $497 (on the 18th January.)

Not $2000.00 just $297 the first week and NO up-sells
No additional costs other than the usual; hosting and
        Domain names

These guys put out an excellent program well worth the money

Will say something about steve clayton though, his courses are very high quality. I bought his 'Info Prodigy' course last year for $197 and it was great stuff. The blueprint project apparently has over 60 videos and 8 pieces of software so I don't doubt there's a lot on offer for the money. It certainly sounds a lot better than the Magic Bullet System.

It's actually $1497 as someone else already mentioned.

But you're 100% right that there are no-upsells, cross-sells, down-sells or any other type of sells most of these launches have.

          Cheers,

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I own the original version of the Blueprint Project Black course (i.e. Niche Blueprint). Because of this, I have just received an email from Steve Clayton explaining how Blueprint Project Black differs from Niche Blueprint, and encouraging me to upgrade to Blueprint Project Black for a large discount.

I won't be taking Steve up on his discounted upgrade offer, but I thought sharing the information contained in his email might be useful for people following this thread, so here goes:

            • Over-the-shoulder videos showing Steve building an ecommerce business from scratch to $1m in 8 months.
            • A step-by-step project plan detailing the tasks you need to complete to build your ecommerce business.
            • More hand-holding than in Niche Blueprint (e.g. advise regarding whether or not your choice of niche is likely to be a winner).
            • More guidance on finding a niche - including a major update to their keyword tool. Note: You can download this tool for free even if you don't buy the course.
            • More guidance on setting up your business - especially for people outside of the USA.
            • Much improved ecommerce website building software. The software supplied with Niche Blueprint was a bit clunky, so this isn't much of a surprise!
            • Updated SEO module, containing a lot of information about setting up your own link juice network. He doesn't go into much detail, but I assume this is the pretty standard - buy a domain with PR, put a blog on it which you update frequently, link from these blogs to your money sites etc...
            • New module about a non-SEO method of getting fast free traffic (not sure what this is?).
            • Major update to the paid traffic module (specifically for ecommerce sites I think) which takes account of the major changes that have happened since Niche Blueprint was released. Steve stated that he believes this module alone is worth the price of the course (but he would wouldn't he ).
            • Three webinars that will be strategically timed such that you see them just when you need to, as long as you have stuck to his project plan. The topics of the webinars are - 1)Setting goals/project planning; 2)Advanced conversion techniques and link building; 3)How to use a new link building tool that he will be releasing to Blueprint Project Black customers.

As I have said in a previous post, I have no doubt that the training in Blueprint Project Black will be top notch. I have bought several of Steve's courses, and they have all been very good. However, I do have reservations about whether or not it is worth the price tag, but if that isn't an issue, I am sure anyone who buys it will learn a great deal from it.

            Cheers, Gary.

That is not a concern or issue, think about it, Google tells you there are X searches a day globally or Y locally. If the tools say a particular niche makes commercial sense you find a supplier in the terrirory (they help with this too) and you are in business. This is a commercial decision in the end, for example you would not build a shop selling to Cuba with 11m people who typically earn less than $20 a month, also because they have import controls. I don't see this as a solution for mass shipping chinese goods albeit that you could do that. I think it is about discovering unusual niches that have customers looking for suppliers and fulfillment. The process is explained in the PDF they send out.

One would imagine that eventually suppliers will consider affiliates competition and cut them off, but until they can wise up and learn to market their products on the Internet the opportunity will exist.

Thanks for the reply, your absolutely right, I'm with you on that and the understanding of the concept...
I inquired because I heard in the webinair that a few tweeks would have to be made etc. so wanted some specifics.
However, I've since found a blog with these specific details answered by Steven, and all's good!

Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey have just released a new video and PDF on January 7th. Much of the prelaunch is being notified through mailing lists, but I have the video on my steveclaytonproducts signature website. Just be aware, that I am an affiliate of Steve Clayton and all his products.

I would add that I have purchased many of his products and find Steve Clayton to always overdeliver. Peace...

I have a number of Steve Clayton's courses, including Niche Blueprint, which I believe is the original version of the course they are launching on Jan 11. I have found all of their courses to be very good in terms of having very clear explanations, good supporting tools thrown into the mix, and methods that actually work.

However, it looks to me like this latest course is probably over priced - I think I paid around $497 for Niche Blueprint, and I believe their latest course is going to be more than three times this price! I can't believe that they have added more than $1000 of value, because the original Niche Blueprint course was very good and detailed.

In case you are wondering, I did build a Niche Blueprint site (Electric Golf Trolleys Buyer's Guide & Reviews - Electric Golf Trolleys Online), but I found ecommerce wasn't for me. I still have the site, but I converted it to a simple Adsense site, which still brings in a small amount each month.

Could this really be right? I mean, when you look at the videos, they are turning to new guys, as well to experienced ones. But in order to make this investment, I think you need to be quite deep in to this game before getting this kind of money to invest.
He also mention in the video that you are supposed to do this in a shoestring budget.
Does anybody know if this is going to be this really expensive?

    Hi Gary,

Didnt you try monetizing your site with Amazon. If you have some decent traffic to it amazon will bring in alot more cash than adesense.

      Hi Terry,

Amazon isn't really a good supplier for electric golf trolleys - they don't have many to choose from, and they aren't competitively priced.

There are obviously other suppliers I could use, but what I found was that visitors fell into one of two camps - 1) they want to buy one of the 'big names' (e.g. Powakaddy), and they are looking for reviews before buying it from their own golf club; 2) they are interested in buying the best value trolleys (e.g. Protrolley, GoKart), and will buy from anywhere with the best price - although I could arrange drop shipping deals with these suppliers (I did with Protrolley), I can't undercut their price, so the customer ends up buying directly from the supplier.

To cut a long story short, I picked the wrong market for an ecommerce site. The traffic is there, and I get a decent share of it, which converts into Adsense clicks and/or sign-ups to my newsletter, where I can then offer other products on the back end.

      Cheers, Gary.

I have grabbed this tool and would love other warriors who have lots of high PR pages to enter into the link pool.

I over 50 PR2 pages available, 40+ PR3 pages, 15 PR 4 pages, and 4 PR 5 pages all on a 12 year old domain. And I have over 300 PR3 pages so plenty to contribute, hopefully others will see the value in non-recip diversified links.

So get there and use this thing, it is free to join.

The Blueprint Project - Black Edition This is not an affiliate link, just a link to the free tool for others to grab - only way into the site.

I actually think Greg is giving away something called Groupmage (not WPMage from what i understood). Just got off the video he created talking more about it. It's essentially going to be a plugin to add to your Mage site where you can take advantage of the Groupon thing.

He said he's going to sell this in the near future (and it won't be cheap, his words) but you will get it for free if you buy through his aff link. But if you don't have Mage, then Greg says disreguard his email, as you need it to use this plugin.

Just thought i'd clear that up Melody ; )

As good as the quality of this course probably is I'm a little bit cynical about being able to make a killing in e-commerce, purely on the basis of having to compete against all those ebay and amazon listings, amongst other big name brand online stores. Has anyone actually made significant money selling things that you could easily get on amazon or somewhere else?

I bought the original course and it was great. Tim and Steve do provide a ton of value. That being said. This is mainly a course to get if you want to get into the physical product business. A tremendous value if that is you goal.

If you want to focus on mainly an info-product business, then no need to get this.

IMHO the big question is: For $1,500 clams, is this course really teaching anything new/special/groundbreaking in building your IM biz, or is it just one more rehash of basic IM knowledge & skills we can get cheaper or free in The War Room. There's plenty of other $100-or-under WSOs teaching e-commerce site building, site-flipping and dropshipping, as well as all the "push-button" traffic techniques they promise to give you.

Sure, this is a nicely-packaged all-in-one-place compendium, and the Claytons have a good rep for giving high value, but when I look through the description of what they'll be showing you in their 12 modules, I'm not seeing anything that can't be learned for free right here, or for under $300 if you want to purchase a few different WSOs on each topic. At $1500, it seems like the only folks who could afford this are successful IMers who already know 90% of these approaches.

Another question I have is: Is the keyword tool offered, with it's claim of "trawling Google for "hand picked niches," their IMEye tool? Which was touted as being the ultimate reverse niche-picker a while back?

garybooth, above, said you could download this tool for free without buying the course (where, Gary?). IMEye was about $150/mo., so it sounds like this must be a different tool. For $1500, they should include IMEye, I feel.

So if anyone has experienced this course directly and can verify my groundbreaking-or-rehash question, that would help everybody know if they should lay down $1.5K. Perhaps Steve Clayton will chime in here, too.

garybooth, above, said you could download this tool for free without buying the course (where, Gary?). IMEye was about $150/mo., so it sounds like this must be a different tool. For $1500, they should include IMEye, I feel.

I don't know the IMEye tool, but the tool that was offered for free could be downloaded from the pre launch site and is called KeywordBlueprint2

He said he's going to sell this in the near future (and it won't be cheap, his words) but you will get it for free if you buy through his aff link. But if you don't have Mage, then Greg says disreguard his email, as you need it to use this plugin.

Just thought i'd clear that up Melody ; )
Actually, no he is giving away 13 copies of WPMage, per his email this am:

The deal is that WPMAGE is off the market and is NOT being sold,
I have already had dozens of people email me privately asking
if I could sell them a copy. I had to politely reply that this
is not possible. The only way you are going to get WPMAGE
is to be one of the first 13 to buy the Blueprint Black Edition
        right NOW..

The product is indeed priced at $1497 as previously mentioned -

Melody you're wrong, you really need to put on your reading glasses.
I also have Greg's emails from yesterday & today about this. This is a direct quote:

"I will be offering GroupMage as a Bonus to the first 13 that purchase Blueprint thorough my affiliate link. I will also be offering the Modified Magewheel report..."

GroupMage is NOT WPMage, it's just a new plug-in FOR WPMage, offered only to existing WPMage members. Same thing with the Magewheel report.

Nowhere in either email does it say anything about throwing in full copies of WPMage in the bargain. Please read more carefully before you post here insisting you're right.

Ouch Seth!...Melody was actually the correct one here! Greg IS giving away a very limited number of WP Mage full memberships(13 to be exact). Maybe you didn't receive the same email like Melody and I....he actually sent 4 or 5 emails total. Greg is offering the complete WP Mage system through his affiliate link to customers who don't already have WP Mage(limited number) and for those who already bought WP Mage he is offering the Group Mage plugin plus a Mage Wheel report to existing WP Mage Customers if they purchase through his affiliate link. Sounds as if you were a little harsh on Melody...an appoligy might be in order don't you think

uuuhhh, Sparkie, then wouldn't that make both Melanie AND me correct ? If he sent out the two emails stating both, then we were both right ; ).

It's just rather strange that i ( and Seth) just received emails stating JUST Groupmage (along with the video that mentioned just groupmage), and Melanie just received emails stating selling WPmage. Obviously, you received both.

No worries. I'm iffie on Blueprint project anyway, as i'm not sure i want to get into the e commerce game. Would be interested to see what people think of this course in the future. Will keep my eyes on this thread....

Sparkle if what you say is true, then you're right, I do owe Melody an apology (Sorry,Mel .) I was tagging off the way she started out her retort to perswealth with "Actually, no he is..." instead of something less assuming like "Well, maybe I got a different email than you...), sounded a little too sure of herself.

If he sent out an offer that includes WPMage to non-members, and one that doesn't to members (that sneaky Greg ,) I wonder why Melody got the former instead of the latter...I'm pretty sure she's already a member, her post makes it sound like she is anyway.

Since you seem to be in possession of all his various emails, if you want you can quote the part where he's offering WPMage to 13 non-members and clear this whole thing up.

Anyway, back to Blueprint, still waiting for answer from someone who actually HAS this course (and isn't an affiliate) - does it offer amazing new techniques or just a nice collection of all the old known stuff? I could actually afford it without wincing, but only if it's a game-changer like the sale page makes it sound. Otherwise, naah! Maybe someone will post an honest comprehensive review

When you are new to this, you can easy get the feeling for this. When you listen to the videos, and read about the reputation of the guys, it really feels good, except for the price.
However, as I have discovered and also understood, all these $37 software tools can't bee that good for the price they are sold for. Especially when they "always" give you $10 discount when leaving, although they will give you "everything" in just a couple of clicks.
This one on the other hand, cost a lot (at least for a beginner as me) and should??? meet the promises much better.
    Or am I mistaken?

Checked through the buy link. When I did that, before paying, I noticed that I have to pay additional $374.25 in Tax.
Does anybody know why you sometimes need to do this when buying software like this?

$374.25 is quite a lot to add to a already high price

It's the sales tax for your country - so massively overtaxed hellhole socialist countries like mine (UK) and sweden for instance - have a ridiculous 20% sales tax. So, clickbank adds that tax onto the course price at the checkout screen.

          Unfortunately I don't think so.

... Using a proxy may work (from the US or Canada). Never tried it so don't know for sure.

If paying by PayPal be careful though, using a proxy can make PP lock your account because it could look like someone's hacking your account.

          Cheers,

Most big sites try to detect proxies so you usually have to use a paid service. For that money I would hire dedicated server in the US for a month and remote desktop to it, then order from there. Could even pay for a virtual office in the US and still have savings.

Just to clarify earlier post, it was not a socialist government that took the UK into the EU (that introduced VAT) or one that put the rate up to 20% on Jan 3rd (which they stated is permanent). However, once they have paid back the structural deficit they will lower income tax. Of course we may be on a pension by then!

Not that I am political, just like to attribute blame correctly.

If you are a supporter of Steve Clayton and have bought his courses, can you please provide an honest answer whether or not you found success in them?

I hear a lot of these guys have "good reputations" and that several people mentioned they have bought their other courses and are planning on buying this new one for $1497..

What I do not hear is people saying, I bought this course, the content was quality, AND I made some money.

The ONLY reference to this is from one user who was honest enough to say he tried it, picked the wrong niche, and then posted a link to this site.

There's a difference between quality content and training, but it looks like the only ones who are profiting are Steve and his affiliates...

Any NB 2 owners who are taking the upgrade? Is the additional content really worth the additional investment? BTW, I do own NB2-- it's a great course! -- and I'm making some money in e-commerce. "Some" being the operative word there-- nowhere near enough to quit my day job -- so I'm wondering if the upgrade would be a good idea... Plus I almost feel like the traffic portion in NB2 is a getting a bit dated. it's a lot of money; maybe I better go buy some traffic with it?

Well you can't get away from the sales taxes where you live, as it is I can offset it against the sales tax I charge or I can buy it through one of my companies outside the EU.

At the end of the day you are running a business, a business generates profits and profits are taxable BUT you can offset this an an expense.

Of course it is a struggle for those getting started but such is life.

It won't work so well for a physical product that needs to be delivered to you like this one though. Kind of hard to get it delivered to you if you don't give them the right country. It works fine with downloads though.

Disclaimer: I have tried Steve and Tim's link building suite SEO Blueprint, not any of their actual courses.

That being said, I was seriously underwhelmed with the tool and have made a mental note not to buy anything from them again. They have a great reputation, so maybe it's just me, but for one thing, their courses seem very overpriced.

SEO Blueprint, itself, was a waste of money in my opinion. It contains three tools for the price of one, so budget conscious me thought I was getting a good deal. Out of multiple submits, I think 1 link stuck (well, according to Site Explorer, though I know that's not always accurate). I tried campaigns on three different sites - absolutely no change in search engine ranking. Granted I know there are a lot of external factors with these things, but I never received any proof that their software did anything close to what it claimed at the one link I did receive (which was marketed as coming from a PR3-5 blog), was on a subdomain of a PR 2 off-topic site that had no links whatsoever to the homepage.

While I don't knock the marketing of physical products, I find their promotions a bit unclear as to what the course is really about. If you want to start your own e-commerce sites, I'm sure this course will be somewhat effective. It's just a lot of money to blow on a course that may teach you a principle you're not even interested in.

They are. Doesn't mean they aren't socialist.

Has anyone actually made significant money selling things that you could easily get on amazon or somewhere else?
No, no one has. Only Amazon and eBay manage to sell stuff online.

What I do not hear is people saying, I bought this course, the content was quality, AND I made some money.
I bought NB 1 and 2, the content was quality, and I made some money. I have 5 ecommerce sites generating low 5 figures a month total in profit, with at least 6 more planned for release this year. Doesn't mean you will make one dime doing it though.

Any NB 2 owners who are taking the upgrade? Is the additional content really worth the additional investment?
I won't be. It's not worth it to me to spend another grand just to get a physical copy of NB 2, which is most likely all this will be. Even if there is some new info, I doubt it's worth the $1,000 upgrade. On the bright side, they're using Clickbank, so refunding will be no problem if you aren't happy with the purchase.

So far Black Hat Cat is the only responding with actual experience/results, and that's for Niche Blueprint 2, not this product. He and others here seem fairly convinced that Blueprint Black is just an upgraded version of NB2, although I'm not sure what you mean BHC, about it being the physical version of NB2...isn't all the Blueprint Black materials a digital download?

I wonder if NB2 is still available?

When google NB2, I find this at Niche Blueprint 2.0 (no affiliate as far as I understand)
IMPORTANT NOTICE --- Niche Blueprint (usually $497.00) is now included within our 'IMA' program and you will get instant access to it as an IMA member along with numerous other money making strategies worth over $15,000!
I don't know if that is the correct NB2, but it seems now to be included in the IMA.

Sorry if I'm out of order here.

It's mostly digital but there are a few physical items you get.

You are absolutely right. We are democratic since hundreds of years (long before the big travelling to and exploring of North America) :p

However, I am really getting frustrated here. I was there to buy, but the extra $374.25 did not make my sleep very comfortable.
Suddenly, the actual cost for me will be $1872,25. That's a tough stone to eat...

Just cos a country has an ok voting system doesn't mean they aren't horrendously socialist. The UK is hell on earth I assure you because it is run by deranged socialists. And the likes of UK and sweden (and france) that have public sector spending levels accounting for over 50% of the GDP are most definitely insanely socialist countries. If 53% of your countries GDP going back into the public sector doesn't make a disgustingly socialist hellhole then please enlighten me as to what does. Also, the welfar bill for the UK is bigger than most countries entire economies so again, I would hardly call it a thriving capitalist society, would you? Go to singapore, hong kong and you'll see a proper, functional capitalist society where taxes are low and people work hard to get ahead.

I have steam coming out of my ears now so I'm stopping this rant.

Its a pretty high ticket price item with tons of great info that will teach you valuable stuff. The question you need to answer is: "are you going to stick with this course till you succeed or do nothing and babble that it didn't work?" These guys put together some great info and it would be a waste for both of you and the creator if you don't take action and stick with the plan. I see too many people buying these high ticket item and complain that they don't make any money. So if your willing to slap down the money and commit to succeeding, in my opinion I think this is a great product and you will learn a LOT! Don't wait till you see results from other people who tried it, if your hesitant to put down that money, then it won't work for you because your too worried about the money you just spent and not focusing on the value it can produce for you when you force yourself to succeed. Theres plenty of products out there already to get you going, these products are just premium priced and show your commitment and willingness to learn!

    Hi Guys,

I am a member of the IMA and an owner of NB2 and I can tell you that the whole Niche Blueprint Two Course is available for all members of the IMA. Both are very very good resources that I use daily in my internet marketing endeavours.

I saw the video of Blueprint Black and although intrigued, Steve didn't convince me that there's enough value in it as compared to NB2. Using NB2 strategies I've already got 2 sites bringing in good sales so I think I'll stick with that.

Whether there's value for you, I won't comment...

      I am curious though.

Are you aware that BPBE includes a totally new e-comm software platform selling at $897 (see http://pythoncart.com/)?

I don't understand why people don't use opensource products, the cost is zero. It would make their system better value and they would make more profit. I guess they had their reasons but there are some pretty solid solutions out there.

Steve & Tim used an open source product in NB and NB2, so I imagine they have excellent reasons to prefer this one.

Yes, I found out the excellent reason, it is their own product! A few due diligence checks confirmed that.

This is what I HATE about this industry, people either say "yeah use this tool we recommend it" when it is their own or they hype up the value with some notional figure of $897 or whatever.

I think this is a great shame because it is my belief that these guys are some of the best in the industry and this kind of hype just distracts from the true message. The value of their Python cart is not the cart itself which I suspect is built on a GNU product anyway, the value is in the integration into a turnkey solution they offer. So yes you can go and get your own cart software for free but then you would have "a blocker" to your project.

How many times do we see people rant and rave about their "system" and skip over the "blocker"? This is what they have tried to avoid, the whole idea is a system that requires about 4 hours a week and builds up a business.

Anyway I found a back door to this program, I am not an affiliate although I would like to be, I always like to buy the products I am promoting so I can get across the USP's.

There are some issues for people who are outside the US but they are working on those as a matter of urgency, they are not blockers, just not the instant solutions we come to expect.

At the very least I would go and grab the free tools, download the PDF which really explains the system.

As I said, the VALUE is in the turnkey process, expertise, experience and support. Anyone in doubt should see the videos at:

The Blueprint Project - Black Edition

They say they are shutting it down on the 18th Jan.

Just to confirm I am NOT an affiliate to this system.

I don't see it as an ecommerce course, albeit that it would be for some, I see it as a turnkey process. I am sure there are some IM's here who have created their own turnkey process that they have developed. You are right the video are slick, there is a more real one when he demo's the keyword tool.

You were asked not to do this, I found a way to test it for $1, anyone could find it with a little logic. I am not posting because I don't like to mess with their launch or campaign.

What I can say is that there is a very simple ROI on this, it is just a case of cashflow for some.

This is NOT a magic button to make money, it is a systematic process that they say only starts to payback after 30 days.

Remember they say they are BUILDING a 1m dollar business not selling one. The 1M dollar business is selling this.

Yes, it is a 60 day money back guarantee! I have a store from NB1, and there is a bit of customer service involved. Unlike passive sights like adsense and selling ebooks on autopilot, this requires a bit of talking to manufacturers, customers etc! But it does seem to really work if you find the right niche!

Just a note regarding the sales tax issues for non US buyers.
If you run a business there is a trading threshold above which you have to register for sales tax.

Certainly in the UK it is true that once you reach this level of trade you are able to Claim back any sales tax made on purchases.
This would include the purchase of the blueprint black edition.

As I am already Vat registered (Sales tax in the UK) this is a non issue. Sales tax is neutral if you are running a business.

The decision with this product is -- Do you want to be making money from ecommerce? -- The sales page and videos make no secret of this.

If so, this course shows you how and gives you the tools.

I have just purchased the Blueprint project blank. It is expensive but, there are elements in it that all worth $1500 each. That is not a joke. For me, the biggest asset is the fact that it is a complete online business plan in a box. If you can work your way through and follow the steps as stipulated then I cannot see why anyone cannot succeed with this program. At the end, this is what everyone is striving for.

Steve cleared up some issues during the last webinar, which was held last Sunday. For example, the $1,000,000 they made during the experiment was not pure profit. It was gross sales. the profit was about 25% of that. Which is about $250,000. In my opinion, this is very good for any business. If you ever listened to Steve then you know he is telling the truth.

This program is all about E-Commerce. Selling physical products online. The blueprint project provides everything you need to be able to create and run an eCommerce sites and source the products.

I can see how this would work for those who are interested in selling physical products online.

I have taken up a challenge to try repeat the result of the Blue print project. I will open a thread here where everyone can follow my result.

I have no axe to grind and no Affiliate Commission to make or lose, but I will say that though I think Steve Clayton and Co are on the level and have some great products this is far too steep a curve for me.

I have the Niche Blueprint 2 product ($497 at the time) and it is a very comprehensive course.
However, I didn't finish implementing it (my decision - not a problem with the product) and to be asked to pay another $1000 for an upgrade is just a bit ridiculous.
It's too expensive (VAT or no VAT), and I'm out!

I was not saying it was how I run MY business, I have a state side address and it is the shipping address the determines the tax liability. I was merely answering the question asked.

The tax system provides hundreds of caveats, at the low end we have over 1,500,000 electronic devices a month being shipped from China and declared under their real value. At the top end we have trusts, offshore, outsourced and other options. Canadian government is considered efficient so I guess you are happy paying all the tax they ask for. In Europe we have tax on tax on tax. Gas has over 90% tax, we are paying around $8 per US gallon. The EU has yet to have an audited set of accounts signed off. People tend to follow the example of their Government and ours are all doing one fiddle or another.

John, You are right. the price is just too high. For me it was a hard pill to swallow as well. But, I wanted to really give these guys a run for their money. I have taken a look at the training online. There is really nothing shockingly new which you cannot find at the warriorforum right now.

I think the added value here is the step by step plan, the offered software and forum. Again, I agree with you, it is a very hard sell for someone who already have the Niche Blueprint 2.

I can see how this would be very effective for those who haven't made money yet online or anyone who finds it hard to create own working plan and follow it. Someone like that may not even have the money to invest.

I don't think that there is, they include their own cart which is optimized for SEO and the methods they teach.

The same applies to the tools like Niche Finder, Link Box and all the other extras they give. There are many USP's in this program including the support of Dave, Kevin and Mike Hermansen I have seen people come up with a major blocker and these guys provide a simple solution.

Like many things in IM, missing one step can make the difference between success and failure.

The only other advice I could give is to buy it for 30 days or wait until you have made the entry price using another method.

I will be, I have only just started it because I had to leech it all down to my PC after midnight (my ISP traffic shapes). So far it is laid out well, it includes an outline project plan which I loaded into MS Project and will expand out as I go to facilitate the rinse and repeat. I have set myself much tighter deadlines that Steve suggests, many things can be done concurrently and in less time. I am going to set up a US based company which will be time consuming.

The videos are smaller than the old ones, they are shipping them on DVD but there is also supportive materials, tools, Python and stuff to download. This makes sense because software gets updated.

The overview is clearly laid out, there is a huge forum which encompasses all their products with a section for BPBlack.

They seem really committed to keep us all in the same place and there are webinar workshops in due course.

So far I am really glad I invested, I have put all other project on hold till my first 2 sites are up. I will post more if they don't lock down the thread.

The forum is free for everyone to see. They haven't privatized it (nor will they) so if you want a good review, go read the threads at their official forum in the Bluprint Project section.

Also, you don't need the DVDs as those are just some of the videos you have available in the members area already. The DVDs were just a physical aspect to give the product a higher perceived value since they WERE charging $1497 for this!

Actually I think they gave the DVD's because some people like to see these things away from their PC. You are right though they contain little substance, most of it is in the PDFs.

What I meant was, on previous threads in THIS forum I see them as CLOSED.

Actually, I think they included the physical DVDs to discourage returns. It's one extra step people are likely to forget, or avoid, shipping it back. Can't blame them. Smart tactic.

Overall, I really like the course. I only wish I had more time to implement it. I got the course because I thought I might dropship some physical products recommended in my info product.

But, it looks like dealing with dropshipping will be a job in itself. And the course has it's own strategy. So, I may need to just focus on my info product for now.

        Otherwise, it's an excellent course.

They estimate 4 hours a week for a business that aims to deliver $1m of business in 8 months with $200k of profit. In due course you can outsource much of that.

I think you hit the nail on the head though about the need to focus on ONE thing, get it done and then move to the next. If info products give you what you need, go for it. (less competition for me !!)

No, if you've ever done launches before you know it's for a perceived value increase.

Yes I joined BPBE when it first came out! I paid the full price and am satisfied with my purchase. The hardest part of the whole puzzle is trying to find suppliers but Steve and Tim and all of the BPBE members on the forum provide solid information to find suppliers.

At first I found that some of the manufactures will not do business with you so you will probably need to get all of their major distributors and contact them to see if they will set you up an account. Setting up a US Company will definitely open you up to most suppliers but there are some members that were able to get suppliers without it. If you've tried everything that they have mentioned in the BPBE course and still can not find suppliers who will dropship for you just contact the Blueprint guys and explain your situation to them as well as everything you've tried and they will do their very best in helping you find a supplier who will dropship for you.

Everything in this course from beginning to end is explained very well... Take the time to carefully follow it and you will get results! It's a great long term business model but If you don't like a bit of work then it's not for you! Setting up your first store is the most challenging part of the whole course. But you have the blueprint guys to help you out! You can submit your no/go form with all details about what keywords you are planning to
go for and they will get back to you suggesting whether you should go for it or not.

After you go through the whole process you will be successfully setting up multiple ecommerce stores like a pro...

Only thing I can complain about is they have still delayed re-doing last webinar (More than a Month now) explaining how to use their new link building software!. I think they are re doing the last webinar because it just confused more people rather then helping them. So the BPBE team are going to probably release a separate video teaching everyone how to use their new software.

They also provide loads of tools to help you with your ink building but they don't give you access to blog blueprint via the BPBE membership only Link blueprint (which is almost dead), article blueprint, Keyword Blueprint and their new Link Building Tool that I won't reveal.

The new link building tool will basically help you to easily identify all of your competitors high quality backlinks in your niche so that you can grab them as well.

Ontop of that they also show you how to successfully use adwords for your ecommerce stores Although I haven't used adwords yet so most of my traffic still comes from the organic search results and shopping portals .

They also show you how to set up your own Link Juice Network consisting of High PR domains that's invaluable for higher search engine rankings . But setting up your own high PR link juice machine yourself can become very expensive.

On top of all of the information on how to set up and run a successful ecommerce store they also give you a nice ecommerce store platform called python cart.

When considering these things I always start with who is selling it, one of the first IM products I saw was the Free Access To Mining Money Online... course which is not bad for anyone starting out, yes it has an upsell but the course is free and it gives you exposure to the IMA who are not a bad lot.

I saw http://www.blueprintblack.us/ and was quite sceptical, it was an expensive product (albeit with payment options) and made brave suggestions of building a cluster of sites turning over $1m a year.

It turned out that they were saying IF you can build an online store selling an average of 3 products a day with a value of $186, you have a $200 turnover store, then if you can replicate that formula to 5 stores you have your $1m.

I figured this was worth a go, so I went ahead and bought it and was very impressed with the material.

Produced by the IMA and the Hermansen brothers, it leverages IMA tools like Keywords Blueprint for the SEO and includes a new tool called Linkbox, this is a little jewel, but you do need to understand how it works and after a technical screw up on the webinar they still have to get the training going. To be fair to Steve and Tim they have said that they want to get a quality training session out and that is why it has been delayed.

What Linkbox does is use proxies (your own or public) to scour the net for what Steve calls the last 10% of SEO. It finds keyword relevant high PR sites that you may wish to create backlinks on. The results vary because this tool can search in text, title, url, blog or forum and you can specify the type of site e.g. .EDU. As smithy has pointed out above, it can also be used to find the links of your competitors. It allows you to sort the results by domain or page authority and it allows you to export result to a CSV file for import into any automatic tool you use, to give to a service provider or just for your records.

So what is BluePrintBlack about? Essentially it is a way into ecommerce in weird and wonderful niches. To me this was about working smart not hard, would you want to sell invisible shield alternatives from China, NO because the profit per unit is so low and the number of orders you have to process massive. Wouldn't you rather sell 1 to 5 products a day where you make say $50 a unit? That is what BluePrintBlack is about; finding the suppliers for these esoteric products, often sold by people who have no idea about SEO and so can't compete. The course tells you how to find and approach these guys.

BluePrintBlack includes a tool that looks a bit like a Google search engine but instead on results it delivers keyword phrases and their searches per month. S&T provide you with a 2 page PDF of some ideas too and the training webinars for these are online.

No ecommerce solution would be complete without shopping cart software and this is included. In addition to this they you get one of those walk on video people that increase conversions.

The word blueprint really is apt, you get a step by step set of tasks for each stage with special instructions for those selling US-US, US-Elsewhere and Elsewhere-US. These explain the different structures you may want to set up.

Yet all of this is nothing without the input of S&T and Dave, Kevin and Mike Hermansen these guys have been in the ecommerce and drop shipping business for years and they share all their expertise, especially on the BluePrintBlack forums. Sometimes you just need someone else to help you think outside the box and these guys really deliver.

The biggest problem with Internet Marketing is being pulled in 20 directions at once by people promising a lot but just rehashing the same old tripe. The solution to success is to pick one thing and stick with it until it makes money and making sure you track what you do so you can fix your mistakes.

Considering the Google Panda changes and how much Google likes ecommerce sites, I think that this is a good area to get into. I won't list them here but I checked out their own shops and many of them are PR3 and PR4, even the newer ones are PR1. So if you combine your SEO knowledge and the merchandising knowledge in this course it is easy to see how to achieve those small but profitable orders.

If your the kind of person who jumps from opportunity to opportunity looking for a get rich quick money making method, then BluePrintBlack is probably not for you, but if you want something stable, that requires hard work, but is measurable and delivers results then this is one of the best bets out there.

If you PM me I am happy to answer any questions.

I owned all of the Blueprint project courses from the very beginning - Niche Blueprint, Niche Blueprint 2 and Blueprint Project Black Edition - and must have paid three grand over three years. The Hermansens were the only ones over there in "Blueprint Land" that really helped me so when they started their own course at storecoach.com, I followed them.

Store Coach blows away Blueprint Project Black Edition, IMHO. It is a far more detailed ecommerce course and it doesn't contain all of that grey hat/black hat nonsense that Steve Clayton is always pumping in order to get you to cough up more money for a useless tool. Best of all, Store Coach is totally FREE (not "free to try" but actually free!).

I've been a member of the Store Coach community for a year - since day one. Rather than blowing a ton of money, I'd check out the Store Coach free training and tools first.

I DO think that the Hermansen brothers were a great loss, it is a shame when people fall out, but Steve and Tim are doing a good job of supporting existing customers and had a limited release of their new product. Their forum has some great people on it and they support the BPB community.

The simple truth is that anyone can go get an open source cart, what matters is whether your site makes you money and is ranking.

When I got into BPB I checked out Tim & Steve's own sites which ranged from PR2 to PR5. The Hermansen's own sites are mostly PR0 with one PR2 so far out of 10 sites I have seen.

I Don't remember Steve suggesting anything black hat at all, but rather tried to help people understand keyword research and commercial intent. Also Storecoach use tools too and they do suggest Linkthief which is not exactly white hat. I.E. So they are similar in approach

I think both companies add to the community and BTW you do pay for StoreCoach, it is called MVP and costs $49 a month. Also there are numerous money grabs like the $797 to set up a US product and the site they link to is their own.

I think it is great that the Hermansen brothers are still around and helping people, to me it is just a different pricing model.

Wow, could you possibly supply any more misinformation? (I'm tempted to use the term "disinformation" here, really.) The websites that Steve Clayton had that ranked high were ones that he bought from the Hermansens. Then, after using his crappy link building service - Pragmites - and the various link scheme communities that he sells memberships to, Clayton managed to take the pbmissions website that was ranking #1 when he bought it from Dave Hermansen all the way to ... well, it's so far down in the rankings, I stopped looking for it after page 6. In fact, during his last Google-bashing webinar, he admitted that his link building schemes had done so much damage to the website, that he was probably going to scrap it altogether.

And, you are seriously deciding what a website is worth based upon whether it is a PR2,3,4 or 5? I base mine on where they rank in the SERPS - not a stupid PR number that Google has admitted is not always what they say it is.

If you had a clue what you were talking about, you would know that the Competitor Link Thief Tool is a tool that simply shows you what backlinks a competitor has so that you can attempt to contact those websites and get the same link for your own website. Hardly grey or black hat stuff there! We should all be looking at what backlinks the top ranking sites for our keywords have and trying to get those links, ourselves.

Store Coach's MVP program is entirely optional and is not necessary at all to be successful; ALL of the things you need to know to be successful are in the free course, including the free keyword finding tool. The MVP program simply gives you access to a couple of in-depth webinars per month, a weekly open chat with the "coaches" and it gives you access to more tools that make doing things a little easier - tools like the Competitor Link Thief.

All of the very best people left the Blueprint community and are over at Store coach now. I pop in and check on that Blueprint forum from time to time and it simply looks like the blind leading the blind there to me!

Ouch! You are quite bitter and hostile too!

I gave what I thought was a fair opinion based on my experiences.

Could it be that you bought the same product 3 times and failed to make anything of it and even after that you had to go join Storecoach, perhaps you just take a long time to learn or do you have a digital library on your hard disk of things you never even read or implemented?

Well Serps vary per user these days and I was not about to go check all the keywords of the 20 odd sites of each of them. SHHT I will have to go tell everyone on the forum to forget PR. I mean Google shut down BMR and went after over 1.2m website owners because they had high PR sites and Google was not about to rip the PR element out of their Algorithm.

Go install SEoquake intalled in Chrome and type in any commercial keyword and look at the PR of the results. How many PR0's do you see?

Well I went to check 8 HB sites and their best ranked 18th, most were unranked and a couple were ranking 146.

          "
attempt to contact those websites and get the same link for your own website"

Yeh right, that must be a new method, please sir can I have a backlink? Hey maybe you have a WSO there.

I think scrapebox needs a new module to call site owners and ask for backlinks!

I did not say MVP was not optional, I said it is a different pricing system.

Well if you had to buy 3 ecommerce courses and join a fourth then perhaps it is you that has a problem seeing things.

          Good Luck

Uhmm, I made close to six figures profit from my ecommerce stores last year, so I guess it couldn't be that. That is largely thanks to the one-on-one advice that I received via PM's between Dave H. and myself over the past 2+ years - certainly not anything that Steve Clayton ever said or did. "Just build some more damned links - any links" is not award winning advice. And I'm not sure why anyone even mentions Tim along with Steve - has anyone ever even heard from him (other than in an e-mail with the new affiliate link of the week)?

I didn't HAVE TO buy anything. I did, however, buy the overpriced Blueprint courses because they stopped providing updates to the shopping cart software each year once their new course came out, leaving major security holes in the previous year's version. In retrospect, it would have been smarter to have simply used a hosted cart solution that keeps itself up to date and free from security holes. You live and learn. Well ... I mean I have lived and learned.

Huh, I thought Google shut down BMR because it was a link manipulation scheme not because all of the sites were high PR. Thank you for correcting me ... oh, wait ... there are still high PR sites out there that never were a part of BMR, so I guess it has nothing to do with that.

You DO realize that the Hermansens sold all of their major money making websites and that the only ones they have up right now are used only for demonstrating the different types of looks you can accomplish with Zulu cart don't you? I guess not. And yes, they do have the brand new myusbusiness.com website up that offers a service that internationals have been screaming for over the past several years.

I don't need good luck. I KNOW how to make this work. I didn't have to buy my only profitable websites from someone else off of Flippa like Clayton did. I've been doing SEO for more than a decade. No gimmicky tools; no scheme of the day and certainly no webinars where I am practically in tears, baffled at why Google would do such a mean thing to all of these hard working link spammers. Honestly, I thought Steve Clayton was going to have to have his diaper changed during that pitiful excuse for a webinar (he DID manage to promote 4 new paid products while he was choking back the tears, though).

Anyway, you follow who you want to and I'll follow the guys that he bought his only successful e commerce website from (before he link spammed it into oblivion, that is). I'm already successful and I'll support the guys who helped me become that way.

Well I am glad to hear you are doing so well getting close, will help to pay for all those duplicate courses you seem to need!

To suggest the H bros are not actively trying to make sales is a joke, they love it, I also checked many other they host including your own. None of them huge rankers. Perhaps that is why you are getting out of ecommerce for your "huge project".

I am not saying Steve is an angel, he is as obvious as the next guy and there is no doubt that the H brothers were the ongoing value of the product.

I took what I needed from the one course I bought and I use an open source alternative because I do not like my business to depend on the whim of an internet marketer who may go and live in the sun next year.

Although Steve is the front man, Tim has personally contacted me in the past.

I find most of their stuff pretty old now and I would be in tears myself if I had to depend on it, still I am sure they can add value to those at a certain stage.

Boy for someone who has been in IM for a decade you sure have trouble grasping things (hence buying the same thing over and over), Yes Google shut down BMR because it was Link Manipulation but they do not give a damn about the millions of domains doing that. One backlink that did not occur naturally is link manipulation.

A friend of mine has over 10,000 domains across different platforms, just shutting him down would have taken years. What made BMR an issue was that they used high PR blogs and that distorted a part of the algorithm that Google was not prepared to mess with.

BMR was a high profile target and by going after the BMR customers Google was sabre rattling and causing a load of Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt in the SEO community.

With regard to webinars with products being sold, again if you have been in this game for 10 years you really ought to understand the formula; give value, gain trust, sell something? What did you expect, they pay Citrix for up to 1000 people to attend a webinar and don't get something back? If you hate them so much why did you attend?

Anyway I don't really follow anyone, I am confident enough in my own skills. I don't read 30 SEO articles a day as you do only to say that you didn't do any SEO in your sites (on your Flippa page). (if your reserve was $120k why on earth did you not take the $115k, it was the only bid)

You are full of these contradictions but I do admire you for one tactic that has clearly worked for you, it is not any fancy tool or backlinking strategy, it is that you have treid to make the sites a good experience for the visitors.

BTW if you have been in IM for 10 years why does your profile say "Three years self employed and loving it!" Did you take 7 years to make money!

Anyway, I hope your new venture works, personally I would outsource your work on your ecommerce sites and build them back up so that you get more in the future. That would give you something to fall back on if your big venture fails.

Well, the intent here was not to have an adversarial relationship; it was simply to state that I believe the Hermansens are contributing far more quality than the other guy and not asking for a boatload of cash upfront.

I did not sell the websites listed on Flippa because I simply refuse to let something go that makes that much money for less than I believe it is worth and, since it was my first Flippa listing, I didn't realize what the reserve even meant. I would not have ever sold for less than $140,000. I own 6 ecommerce websites and several blogs - not just what is mentioned in the Flippa listing. None has ever lost money. Some of them have private registrations, so I guess you'll never know the full picture (as it should be).

I worked for 8 years at a company in the "real world" where I built their website and did the SEO for it as the director of Sales & Marketing prior to getting into e-commerce for myself. They subsequently attained the #1 position for the keywords "Orlando Car Rental/s." Unfortunately, the owner of that local car rental company did so well after obtaining that favorable position, he decided to sell the company for $8 million, which is when I became unemployed and ventured out on my own. In the long run, it was better for me. I don't have a boss and make more money than I ever made there. It also gives me plenty of time to read and write. Although I do occasional free guest posts, mainly for name recognition, I have never accepted less than $100 for any article I have ever written for a website. Oh, and please don't waste any more of your time researching this stuff - most of it you will never find the answers to. I rarely write under my own name.

As was mentioned in the Flippa listing, I was only going to go for the "big opportunity" if I got the money I wanted for that sale. Since I didn't, I have kept to the status quo.

I would never again consider outsourcing the SEO for any of my websites. The two that I DID have an outside agency working on did not fare well post-Penguin. I am still in the process of trying to get the SPAM links and thin content blog articles removed so that I can get back to #1.

I, admittedly, was lazy with SEO on the e-cig websites. I didn't need to do SEO because the customer base is a repeat one and they also generated tons of referrals from their friends. Those sites grew their bases automatically, so I ignored them and focused on what I like doing best - writing. The post-Penguin plunge in the SERPs had very little effect on the profits of those websites. The main traffic source is referrals and repeat customers.

I'll let you assume that I paid full price or anything at all for most of the blueprint courses and leave it at that (time is money). Oh, and I didn't attend the webinar. Someone sent me a link to the recording of it and I listened to it while writing an article for a good laugh.

Hi Scooter, I can remember you on the blueprint forum around xmas 2010 time, you were doing ecigs in your ecomm store if I remember correct. I was the amazon/ebay/paypal stealth guy then, we spoke about paypal (now I'm the google/youtube/facebook stealth guy too :-) I didnt follow through with my blueprint store as I quickly came to the conclusion that the owner Steve Clayton was a lying robbing ******* :-)

Funny how people who DID NOT TAKE ACTION blame others for their own failure.

Scooter has shown that he was able to make six figures and had an offer for $115k for 3 of his ecig sites.

Had you actually tried and failed it would be something.
