Hi warriors im currently looking for a piece of software/program that i
can use to edit audio mp3 files etc?

Has anybody got any ideas on what would be the best call to action regarding this?

  Unless it's been added recently, Audacity won't work on a 64-bit Windows machine. I found WavePad Sound Editor (free) is a decent enough replacement for my needs.

  I use Logic Express and most recently Pro Tools 9.
  
  Both of which may be overkill...

I use Acid Pro 4.0. My husband is a music head and this was one of his old programs. I've also used Pro Tools but Acid Pro is so much easier for me.

  Another vote for audacity. Once you got the hang with the UI, it'd be just like using a text editor. And a lot of tutorials available, if you are stuck.
