What's the deal with RAPBank?

Hey guys,

Question: right now, all my products for sale are through Clickbank, which I like because it lets me sit around playing Halo all day while affiliates send me traffic.

But a lot of people on here are talking about Rapid Action Profits - I like what RAP lets you do with pricing, commissions, etc. The only reason I'm not using it is because I'm wary of not being able to get affiliates.

So, vendors, is it easy to get affiliates without Clickbank's built-in marketplace? For those of you who use RAP, do you have any trouble recruiting?

    Getting affiliates isn't particularly related to RAP. Just because you list something on Clickbank doesn't guarantee you'll get any either. There's also RAPBank.com, PayDotCom.com, and bunches of other places.

    RAP makes it pretty easy to sign people up as resellers, but you can't make them drive traffic to your site. You have to nurture your resellers and motivate them to promote for you, regardless of what you're using to manage your sales.

    There are TONS of products listed on Clickbank that get few if any sales.

    What are you doing that's generating so much interest by affiliates on CB?

    An advantage of RAPBank vs ClickBank is the lure of the instant affiliate payments (i.e. not waiting 2 weeks for ClickBank to send you cash)

    Also I believe in order to get paid by CB you need to receive payments from 5 different credit cards (or something like that), not so with Paypal obviously.

    Lower fees means everyone keeps more etc.

    As far as affiliates go, if you know how to get them...it won't matter where you place your products...

    One things that RAP has that ClickBank doesn't is that they don't have a mandatory 60 day return period for all digital products (i.e. rampant serial refunders) since you can state your own refund rules (if any)
