Which Amazon Affiliate Course do you Recommend?

I've finished the Jan Roos Physical Affiliate - which was my intro to Amazon & which I thoroughly enjoyed and can recommend.

What would be my next step?

I'd think my biggest weakness is the first step and arguably the most important the keyword research and kw selection.

So I'd like something with a good focus on that area.

Of the several courses well known on the WF which do you recommend?

Thanks,

I think your next step should be to take action. You will learn more by doing than reading.

You don't want to risk getting into the 'buying wso after wso' trap just trying to figure out the next step.

    Hey

Personally we can't recommend a course. But we can get more details from these warrior threads.

Stick to Jan's course, don't buy any other ones and implement his directions.

Hi Kyle, I don't think you need another course. Jan Roos's course is excellent for making Amazon sites. However, if you feel the need for more help with keyword research, I can recommend Shane Melaugh's Keyword Guide. It's excellent and it is free! Here's the link: Keyword Research Guide | IM Impact

Thank you all for the responses,

I agree that Jan's course is great and I don't want to sound disparaging of it in any way.

I've completely restructured existing sites and - I think - learned how to write reviews as a result. Also, benefited from Jan's focus on optimizing each page for the search engines. I consider it money well spent.

However, whilst I know it will become easier with experience, in the meantime I'd like to avoid wasting time and money building sites which are based on poor kw selection.

I will follow the links provided, thanks.

Dan Brock's course is well worth the investment. But why not take action on what you have learnt already? See what works for you and what doesn't work and then adjust course along the way if you need to.

Sure there are many people to learn from but too much information quickly can become the biggest obstacle so my advice would be to get a few sites up and articles written before looking for more courses.

As much as I agree with the above posters who suggest action instead of another course, I also understand where you are coming from. I'll second the suggestion for Shane Melaugh's stuff-the information I've seen from him is absolutely top notch.

If, after checking that out, you still feel like you want to look into another Amazon specific product, I'd suggest looking for Michael Franklin's WSO. I'm not sure how different the process will be from what you are doing already, but since it is daily coaching, Michael will make sure you have a handle on the research phase before moving on.

If you've already worked through one course then you should now start to take action. I find the best way to master the art of keyword research is just to get stuck in and test out what you find. Unfortunately there isn't a recipe you can follow to pick up a golden nugget every time. For every success you'll have a handful of failures.

There are other courses including Deadbeat Super Affiliate and the Amazonian Profit Plan - but the essence of those is the same as the Roos course.

Yep, Jan Roos' course is hard to beat, especially if you went for the video option. It takes more time to actually go through the course than to actually get a site up there...not a bad thing!

It has a good video on KW selection using MS...awesome!

So go through Jan's course and get building; i know i have and i am not regretting it!

  • Look my friend if you take my advice take action with what you know - not all your sites will work, but by taking action and testing the water, you will learn a lot more this way on how to build profitable sites than you will from another course. Keep up the momentum!

In my (limitied) experience FOCUS is the key - not more knowledge. Remember enthusiasm on fire (action) will always beat knowledge on ice - especially since you know what to do.

    Hope this helps.

Like others have said, it's time to Take Action! Jan's course covers everything you need to get started. You'll learn more once you start putting what he teaches into action.

However if you are still starving for more Amazon courses, you should take a lot Chris Guthrie's Niche Profit Course. Google his name and you should find his website Make Money on the Internet. There is some good information on his site and of course if you end up buying his product too.

The key to doing well with Amazon products is picking products that you can generate natural traffic with. Meaning picking products that people are searching for. Add a "Buying" keyword in front of your main keywords and you should be able to see if enough natural traffic is coming from Google or any other search engines.

    Good luck!

If you want to buy more courses focus on buying courses that teaches you nothing but traffic generation strategies. Traffic is the alpha and the omega in this game and if you can master it then you're set. I hope everyone reading this takes the advice to heart. It doesn't matter which technique you use to make money online, it can be Amazon, Clickbank, CPA or whatever. Everything needs traffic and if you can drive the traffic then you will make money.

    Hi,

Jan's product, The Physical Affiliate, is a great course.

He covers pretty much everything from product and keyword research, to setting up your blog, writing reviews and traffic generation. I especially appreciated the videos on keyword research, which he demonstrates using both paid (Market Samurai) and free (Google keyword tool) resources.

He's also been very responsive to the various questions I've posted. You can't go wrong with Jan's course.

    Best wishes,

You sound a bit like me, always looking for the next thing to teach me what to do.... and like others have said, directly or indirectly, that becomes a trap for inaction. So be doer of what you've read/heard/seen and get to it.

        Gforces,

        You are correct!

I get bogged down on one issue after another. Presently I'm obsessed with backlinking my backlinks.

Oh, I wonder what will be next?

I am making progress but I know I can spend hours researching my latest issue instead of doing real work.

No problem, Kyle, you are welcome.

Whatever product you choose, put it to use immediately. Don't get stuck on the details initially, and certainly don't obsess over what the site looks like (just yet). The key is getting the site up and running as soon as reasonably possible. A great idea or concept without the follow through will NOT earn you any money, so just do it, brother!

Also, stick with it for a time. It's very likely you won't have success overnight (although I suppose it could happen), so don't get discouraged after the first week - the first month even.

        Best wishes,

        Fred

I think that Amazon's affiliate program has huge potential. Still have a lot to learn to make everything work as well as it can.
