I just watched the sales video, next step is I'll get a secret pass to buy Monday 10th, valid for just 2 hours. New way of scarcity marketing?
Guy seems genuine enough if only he had cut all the useless info from the video. I object to these sales videos with no control bar, no indication of length, and drivel on for yonks.
I am not in the slightest interested in how others ripped him off, if he lost his job and had to move back in Mum and Dad, repiticious sales patter, I should charge $heaps etc etc.
Give me a very quick background on why developed, what the product is, what it specifically will do and how much. 10 min max.
All I know is its a software, and targets a huge audience of [free??] traffic, and there are only 199 licences. How often do we hear that??
Must have taken 30 or 40 min to tell me that.
Product may be good but right now I am septical, perhaps Monday when I get more info might change my mind.

Yeah...I like video with a text sales page better. I have a Clickbank product that is successful and it does a combo.

[+] Watch the videos if you want.
      [+] Read the sales copy.
[+] Tell people exactly what they are getting.

Works well or me. I'm not sure what is the deal with the video only sales pages.

(My guess is that they work best on high ticket items)

This product is not launched yet. No one here already get their hands on XTA. Just wait for another 24 hours and you probably receive feedback from buyers here.

      Wanna see the amazing software?
I've attached a screenshot to this reply... prepare to be blown away.

      DO NOT BUY IT.

I've seen misleading sales pages... but this is ridiculous.

It explains on the sales page how you can make tons of cash from Clickbank right?

Well I bought it... I love software... I have a handful that actually DO what they say they do.

But this is crap. I've never been more disappointed. Refunded instantly. I got inside the training area and it's all about building SEO'd wordpress websites and reselling them to local business owners...

Clickbank wasn't mentioned ONCE. What the heck?!

      And what is the software?

It's a software for TRULY lazy people. Anyone who doesn't know how to go on GoDaddy and find their own SEO'd domain name can use this software and find an available domain name...

It's easy enough just to go and look for a domain name!!! That's ALL the software does...

has nothing to do with getting targeted traffic (except the SEO purposes of a domain name)

$39.00? ripoff... I can find my own domain names. And I have been... for years.

DON'T BUY IT!!! It is NOTHING like what they say it is.
      Awaiting my refund...

This is a sad time for IM when product launch after product launch seems to be littered with this crazy nonsense and "snake oil salesman" tactics.

I cannot believe people will fall for the absolute crap coming out of that actors mouth in that video. That is the cheesiest, least compelling sales video, full of blatent lies that I have ever seen. If that really is you in that video Mr Sherwood, then I would really like to know how you manage to sleep at night, knowing that you are completely lying out of your ass!

What is worse is that so many well known marketers are literally copy and pasting this guys emails and blasting them to their lists, not even a single bit of their own creativity added.

Promoting products like this is a sure fire way to destroy your relationship with your list. This in turn will give IM and people associated with IM a bad name. I hope clickbank starts banning products like these that are bound to get a massive refund rate.

Im sure the reviews in this awesome forum will save a few people from getting ripped off!

        Lol, agreed.

        I'm just glad I got a refund.

I didn't even watch the sales video. I thought the software would be free... that's what the email said, so I saved the "secret license code" they emailed me for the "2 hour time window" today, and discovered I had to buy it...

        lol.

Anyway, glad there's a refund policy. I go straight through CB.

        again...

        DO NOT BUY.lol

Yeah, bought as it was only $39 to see what it was all about. What...2 videos in members area and nothing about the automated software....only about domain name choice? Wow.
Before buying I made a blog comment that the guy was either a saint (to let this out) a smart marketer who had a leverage play set up, or a knuckle dragging psychopath. Well my post never got approved. I wonder why?
Yeah...I hit the refund button very quickly.

I just joined the refund club too. Bought it mostly from curiosity, has upsell after upsell to wade through, and these are repeated in the download page, so much for a "buy now or never see again" plus pile of "bonus's" most of which are Clickbank products requiring a payment.
Clickbank need a quality control check and stop this sort of stuff ever getting on the market, lets hope the refund rate is extremely high.

The email I got came from the owner of Info Product Killer (Craig K) someone that I wouldn't expect to get rubbish from. Was it not for the IPK updates I had already unsubscribed from his list. He offers a bonus and I received 3 follow up emails in the last 2 days! So for one or other reason he's pushing this product very hard.

Since several months now there seems to be a group of UK "marketers" - or maybe it's just one individual - who seem to launch really poor crappy products again and again following the same kind of misleading salesletter format (blind video, CB screenshots all over the place, $37-$39 price tag, only about 200/250 copies available,...)!

Other products that come to mind following the same poor and misleading practices are...

                autotrafficavalanche.com
                autotrafficmonopoly.com
                zerodowntraffic.com
                ...

Just take a look and find the differences!

My advice: avoid these products like the pest! Feel free to complete the above list as I'm sure I forgot some.

Haha!!! Not to mention, if and when you DO get a refund for the $1,997 product, it feels AWESOME, cuz you just got an extra $1,997 deposited back into your account!!

Anyone else feel this way when they get refunds?

In the past, it was $77. Most of $37 products is targeting beginners. They are not serious and therefore, they won't pay for higher price. Plus, if it is sold at $37, the refund probably will be low, compared to $77.

Yes, every launch now from a group of about 5 marketers is really crappy software. Or rebranded software that you might already own.

I think all of them are making false claims about what the tool has done for them too.

At least you can get a refund from Clickbank. But its a pain going through the trouble of buying.

I think the safe way to avoid these tools now is if they don't show you the tool in the sales pitch, or there are no videos of the tool in action, then its likely to be a disappointment, otherwise why wouldn't they show you the tool?

I am planning to go to FTC with this stuff, or the new Consumer department in the U.S. Is there a similar agency in the UK.
There are many people who are trying to figure out any way they can to make money and just do not know about scammers. It is getting past ridiculous.
It is time these people go to jail. There is a conspiracy law that can be applied here, notwithstanding all the disclaimers.

        Thanks everyone !!!
I did the exact same thing and now have convinced myself to come to the forum in the future!

Perhaps we should make a list on the Warrior Forum of the most common bogus pitch lines out there. Are there honest marketers out there? Here are a few paraphrased ones:

"We will be taking the offer down in next 5 days..." (one month later it is still there)
"There are only 211 copies available...." (500+ sales later, it is still being offered)
"Don't tell anyone, we don't won't this to get into the wrong hands..." (saying this in a "public" sales pitch)
"You won't ever see price again..." (exit the page, get a discount, exit again, get another discount...) Have they not conditioned people enough already.

A note to some of the marketers that have better quality stuff, but do some of the same things above, shame on you. Say what you mean and mean what you say!

        Basta!

This is indeed one of the funniest pitches I have ever seen, and as one of our fellow warriors pointed out, there is a UK based group who's pumping out such worthless crap with outright, blatant lies. I purchased one of their products a few months ago and have written the most angry e-mail of my life asking for a refund.

But I must say that I was quite amused by this: "Blackhatters ate my food" :p

It's funny I don't think I've seen a single positive remark about this product anywhere online. Usually a massive product like this would have some support from at least a few, but for it have a general consensus of being awful it must really be bad.

The sales tactics they used such as false scarcity really boil down to complete lies. You can't even call it stretching the truth so its no surprise why the FTC keeps making new rules.

      Hi Folks,

Thanks for your info on this latest dud launch.

As others have mentioned, I've lately developed the habit of checking in on the forum before excitedly buying the latest, greatest $37 app.

Thanks to you guys, I've saved a lot of money AND time over the past few months.

I see all these product launches and wonder if Clickbank is becoming like the "National Enquirer" Classifieds of the late 80s. They would advertise all kinds of "Envelope Stuffing" and various other money making schemes. I'm sure some did very well with that.

It is hilarious to see all of the big name marketers send me those canned emails for these products too.

I don't know this product specifically other than some reviews I read, but that script is far from making you easy money. As a programmer, I could throw that script together in an hour, but will I make a dime from it? Will I make what the clickbank ad says? Probably the same chances as taking the $37 and buying lotto tickets.

The product also involves "selling to local businesses." This is a skill in itself, and many people are just not capable of sales. They might as well tell people they can make easy money if they become graphic designers or php programmers.

I almost feel insulted sometimes, like they think I'm stupid and I should fall for it. Maybe I am just too analytical to fall for it. I AM SURE THOUGH that people are buying these products like hotcakes. There also exists a high percentage of people that will never return them. Either they don't bother to read it, feel they got some value from it, or they try it and blame themselves when they make nothing and wait for the next launch. That is why these products will never stop. The $37 price point is not the end of the world, and they are making $$$.

The emails are basically software for your primal emotions and are crafted by high paid copywriters. I believe the products come with a kit of emails that you can send out to your list.

The holy grail of internet marketing though is to build a list and send out clickbank offers, no? And you train the next generation who will eventually realizes that is what you need to do and the cycle continues.

I'm surprised none of them them just go outright to say paypal five people on a mailing list $1 for a backlink...and so on. That would make a new twist on some nostalgia!

Thank you warriors. It seems many of us are thinking the same way. I look in the forum now before even considering buying a new product. I've saved a bunch of time and money in the past few months. I appreciate it.

I mostly look to WSO's for info or products to consider for purchase now. I look thru some of these launches and many seem like the same BS and not very credible.

    GUTTED GUTTED GUTTED!

Not really with the product or launch itself as I am getting used to these type of launches now and always check here first before buying.

But I am gutted at the amount of, as well call them ''top gurus'' who are supposed to be helping us little guys succeed online and are actually pushing this crap to our inboxes. I have no problem naming and shaming anymore as I am getting fed of people who I truly believed in pushing me crap to make a quick affiliate buck from me.

The lastest in line is Mr Socrates Socratous. He is supposed to be one of the big players but I have now received so many emails from him pushing the likes of:

autotrafficavalanche.com (yes I bought and refunded)
autotrafficmonopoly.com (same again i bought..do I ever learn) and now...... xtremetrafficarbitrage.com (not this time!)

and what annoys me most is that I am on his VIP bonus updates list from a product I bought through him so why is he sending me promotianl crap all the time, he should only be sending me updates and tips on the purchase I bought if it is indeed a VIP updates list I signed upto.

Needless to say another ''top guru'' I have unsubscribed from. He tells people he has a list of over 500,00 subscribers - must be burning and churning his way through that then if he is pedling this crap week in week out without any regard for his subscribers needs and wants!

Anyway rant over - I just felt I have kept quite about this for far too long and I somehome feel that the people who promote this rubbish are actually worse then the product creators themselves because they are the people who put ''mr nobody with his crap product'' in front of our very eyes, they have the massive lists and dont mind abusing them.

Just my 2 cents, anyone else who has similar problems with so-called ''top gurus'' pushing rubbish?

LOL. Do they ever do anything different? I'm on most every one of their lists, just to see what they'll come up with next. It's hilarious to see 5 different gurus ( almost simultaneously ) push an email for the same product on the same day like clockwork.

Haha! Great stuff Phil! Hopefully some of these WarriorForum SUPER "gurus" will read that. But then again, they probably won't and just keep doing whatever makes them money. At whatever cost..

This should be mandatory reading... everybody read that blog post that Phil linked here. I may put this link in my sig, it is THAT good. 189 Comments!
If there were medals awarded to IM, Andrew Hanson would deserve one for that...

This is a quote from Andrew's post about “Systems”:

"What they do is sit around mastermind meetings thinking of one question: “What would sell?” They think of ideas for things that those poor unfortunate souls would buy and they create products based on them. If there was a list of things needed for a good launch, laid out in priority order, the factor of whether a system works… whether anyone’s actually going to make money from it… would be at the bottom. Great sales copy at the top, bunch of JVs next, perfect upsell third… good product? Who gives a ####. As long as it’s good enough that we don’t get too many refunds, it’s fine."

Just want to add my thanks for saving me $39 and a lot of bad feellings. I am so glad to be a member of this forum.
It's such a shame there is so much crap being sold with admittedly very tempting sales pages.

This is the last bum steer I'll get from Steve Iser's email list (I hope). I was surprised to get his email as I thought I had unsubscribed from his list already. Out of curiosity I stopped in here to see what he was pushing lately. No surprise, as this is the type of product I came to expect from SI.

Guys not to trash and get my post deleted so I will choose my words....wisely LOL

I bought the basic....I didn't need it why? because it is a local google keyword locator. There are a lot of strategies for local keywords out there.

The reason I bought was out of curiosity. I am smart but not too smart to think I know everything. What I didn't like was the way the sales page elusively hid what it was instead of just saying it in plain English. Plus they tried to upsell me to death...in fact i think one of the upsells WAS DEATH (kidding LOL)

It just didn't work for me on so many levels

The worst part is that I was sent this off someones list that I have total respect for.. In fact one of his quotes in a course that he doe's is "Always research and give a detailed review of a product fully, to give your customers a great experience" Are we that desperate as marketers that we need to push crap on each other..

My advice is not to buy clickbank products that have "traffic" in it.
Seriously... I have bought many traffic products in the past and none have
    lived up to its hype!

Why don't we warriors get together and draw up our own guideliness for ethical online marketing standard practices, then work closely with other likeminded agencies to create something like the Warrior Standard Practices for Online Marketing. We can issue our own seal of approval to sites that meet our criteria, so people know that they are getting good value when they purchase from such a vendor.
The online marketing place has become lawless like Gotham City with no Batman to save the day. Why don't we pull together and do it ourselves?
All of us who are a part of it would increase our standing within the community and we'd have a real power to say what's ok and what's not ok.
No more lies. No more mis-selling, just good, honest, quality products that serve their customers, they way they were supposed to. If we don't do it, it's only a matter of time before someone else does, perhaps even a company who has alterior motives.
We can be like the online moderators like the BBB but better! . Anyone with me on this one?

Here is Mark Dulisse's take on this (quoted from his blog):

"This breed of internet marketers need to be confronted and exposed for what they are: IM Criminals. And they need to be investigated for being misleading, making false claims with the intent to financially injure innocent people, and sent to Alcatraz…"
Awesome ideas Darren... you are so right, we need to DO something... The key words here are "Why don't we pull together?" WHY don't we? Don't let these words fall to the ground! The gooroo's are the modern day jokers! What they are doing is so WRONG & causing people serious grief and it MUST stop! Remember 911? LETS ROLL! Andrew Hanson gives ideas on what we can do to fight back in the blog post linked above...

I bought this and reviewed it. Then returned it. It isn't anything like the video/sales page says. Has nothing to do with traffic generation. It is simply a basic software you don't need to look up domain names based on niches and local places so you can build a website that will rank quick and then resell. Nothing about generating traffic.

Sales video and sales page, in my opinion, were a complete lie. Total blind copy.

    Stay well

    Bought, Watched and Immediately Returned

As another Warrior Stated it has nothing to do with Clickbank, it's all about doing offline SEO for Small Biz owners and the content of the course is absolute crap, as well as the software.

If your into that niche you will find quality products on the subject on this forum.

The clown in the video spent half as much time on the actual product as he did on his sales pitch, he still have a half baked product.
