Should I use RAP for My Client Site?

Hi,

My client wants a membership site set up where people can buy credits to use the site...

Should I use RAP member plus for this site? Will it be branded inside the admin panel or can I remove their branding?

I tried to see some demo sites but the sales page gives none... Can anyone point me to some live sites or backend pictures so that I can evaluate the script?

Only if your customer owns a license to RAP

Source code is provided, so a RAP customer can do pretty much anything they want with it - but modification could make software updates a pretty horrendous experience.

I was planning to buy a purchase for his domain... In the admin panel does it show RAP logo?

Also is RAP better than e-junkie when it comes to affiliate management etc??

      Absolutely!

You cannot sub-license RAP. Your customer becomes a full-fledged, bona-fide RAP customer/licensee, with all the rights and protection of that license - and our logo does show in their admin panel.

We are glad to work with a developer, one-on-one, so that you can purchase RAP, and then pass on the license to your customer, but at the end of the day, they are also our customer, and we take responsibility for their satisfaction with the RAP product.

Also, immediately after admin login, the merchant (your customer) sees the RAP Admin Dashboard page containing:
      • Update notification/download link (for patches)
      • link to the RAP Help Desk
      • link to the RAP customer support forum
      • links to each of the RAP Certified Add Ons

The menu in the RAP Admin panel then allows access to all elements of the RAP admin panel, so that the user can setup/configure options and sales process options for all products on the domain.

      You tell me...
First, the affiliate center is branded with the RAP merchant's page header/footer. It is the RAP licensee's affiliate center, and they can brand it as they see fit.

RAP allows for 3 different revenue sharing schemes for each RAP-driven product. You can set up
      • standard affiliates, with a separate percentage for 1st and 2nd tier commission rates,
      • JV partners, with different 1st and 2nd tier rates than what you have set up for standard affiliates, and finally...
      • one or more Equity Partners (i.e. co-owners) who are paid a specific percentage of net sales (after commissions).
First and second tier commission rates can be anywhere from 0% to 100% (inclusive).
You can define any combination of the above revenue sharing plans, and they are unique to each product.

Your affiliate center has two sections.

The first, shows the affiliate's statistics for each product, with raw clicks, unique clicks, number of sales, number of refunds, and their net earnings for that product.

Just below that, your affiliate center shows any/all of your products, with a
      • product thumbnail image
      • product description,
      • price,
      • commission rates,
      • the affiliate's link for that product, and
      • a link to your affiliate tools page for that product (containing affiliate branded product images, peel away ads, banners, pre-written emails, adWords ads, etc.)
This section serves as a constant reminder to your affiliates, so that they always have the necessary tools available to promote your other products.

      Hope this helps,
