What are 'Awseome Affiliate Earnings' trying to sell?

I found the Awesome Affiliate Earnings website from an email I recieved with the standard new program hype. Just can't figure out what they are selling for '$30 positions'. Free access is basic, I signed up, got taken to the 'purchase positions' page where they kindly filled my number of positions to buy with a '3' (at $30 each!). I've got no intention of buying 'positions' when I don't know what I'm paying for or going to get.

This is mostly about my curiosity about the site as there appears to be no reviews of it online yet but has 106 members, probably most of them free like me. The email I got was spammy with no unsubscribe link, but then it did come from an affiliate called 'earlybird' (apparently).

Can anyone figure out what is the point of this program other than to do exactly what they say they don't do on the homepage, ie get you to get paying signups for them as an affiliate.

Quote from home page:

"Other programs lie to their members and offer impossible riches as an incentive to get you to pay and just to take your money and vanish almost as quickly as they appeared. These are just schemes or outright ripoffs and what they both have in common is they are completely dishonest and the member makes no money except maybe for the lucky few members who joined early, usually the admin and their cronies."

In the FAQ they state affiliates earn 10% commissions. Is that just 10% of $30 or 10% of however many positions your signup gets? $3 for referring someone seems hardly worth it. I think Awesome Affiliate Earnings is hard to understand, what do you think?

I didn't understand it either after I just read it.

All I can gather is your paying for a "secret system".

I wouldn't touch this mess with your ten foot pole...

The language sounds like many of the binary mlm plans, but there's no actual outline anywhere of how 'members' actually make any money.

They 'guarantee' you'll double your money and no one ever loses money, but that's not what their legal terms of service says.

I'm also put off by the notion of "we'll pay you from whichever account has the most money in it". I see months where the only account with money in it is the one you don't have.

The final straw is the banner garden at the bottom of the page, along with the pathetic plea to click banners to generate income. Someone with an ax to grind might want to let the various affiliate companies know about this ...

    My advice: avoid this site.

Systems like this suck, the site sucks, and if the "total sales" really is only $540, don't be banking on earning much any time soon (and don't bank on receiving your payment even if you do, neither - they don't look too trustworthy).

    Nothing to see here ...

If you are going to get paid from new money coming in, which I suspect is what they mean by saygin they are going to make up the shortfall with outside income, this really sounds like one of those hot potato schemes.

The kind where you do not want to be in the program last because you will be holding the hot potato.

      Don't sign up.

Spend your money and time in building a real business online.

Thanks to all for your responses, gave me some more to think about as to why I shouldn't join, plus now Awesome Affiliate Earnings are listed on this forum for other people to be wary of. It was the 'get in at the top' part of the email letters sales pitch that had grabbed my attention. I do look for new sites that are not saturated & may have some potential and now thanks to the replies I've got a few pointers to recognise the alarm bells ringing when looking at new programs.
PS- can admin correct the mis-spelling of 'Awesome' in the title? I couldn't do it yesterday when I corrected another typo of mine.
