Just wondering if any of you guys in the UK can recommend a good hosting company from your own experiences. I am looking for somewhere to host some Amazon sites in the next few weeks.

Why must UK? I personally have never tried any UK hosting yet, but have very good experience with Lunarpages & Hostgator. Have tried Lonex too, but my experience is, I encountered more down-time than any other host.

  I usually host Stateside because most of my projects are aimed at the worldwide market but I've had good experience in the past with Vidahost.com (Don't be fooled by the .com it's a UK company).

Im based in the UK but do all my hosting with Hostgator. If you dont mind me asking but why a UK specific company as the main reason i can think of is for SEO reasons i.e. youre site contains UK specific information, etc

I used just host and there hosting is quite good, be careful if your running auto blogs, as these run up your cpu usage

Web Fusion (not an affiliate link) have dedicated servers - Good customer service albeit a little pricey. I pay £180 per month. Choose carefully because its difficult to change server after setting up loads of wordpress and autoresponders (like me). The hassle of changing has really put me off moving.
