Article Marketing:

I love TBS, but I use it for other things. I think spinning articles is a waste of time.

Article Marketing Robot. Some of the best money I have ever spent.

Backlinking:

Four tools stick out to me.

SEO Link Robot. Alternative to SEnuke, and way cheaper.
Sick Profile Builder. Great for building forum profiles for backlinks. Can do so much more though.
Scrapebox. Might be the best $50 I ever spent. And I barely ever use it for blog commenting.
Bookmarking Demon. Saves a TON of time for social bookmarking.

Keyword Research:

Google Keyword Tool
Market Samurai
Traffic Travis

I use all three to confirm my findings.

Tracking:

Rank Tracker
CuteRank

Just started using CuteRank recently. Works pretty well. I use it in conjunction with Rank Tracker because I have yet to find any tracking software that is always accurate.

Keyword Blueprint is a lot better for keyword research than Market Samurai.

It gives you a X or a green tick on whether you should optimize for that particular keyword.

With MS, you just have raw data to deal with, and you gotta make your mind up yourself.

KB saves time fiddling about with all the analysing of keywords and competition data, as it gives you a simple yes or no decision.

Oh, and by the way, IT'S FREE!

I like Micro Niche Finder for what I paid and what it does for me.

Some other tools I think were well worth the money are: Magic Article Submitter and Magic Article Rewriter, Scrapebox and Free Traffic System (although I am a free member and not PRO).

I just got a chance to review a very simple & yet powerful webmaster tools for IMers, and it's called bz9. For those who have used this tools, you are welcome to share your experience here.....

This is a tools that consist of several features, such as create a landing page, unblockable popup, opt-in bar, viral tool, & much more, with just a few clicks of your mouse. I have some sites that use unblock-able popup to build my list, and I spent hours to design and create in the past, now with bz9, it barely took me less than 5 mins, and yet with presentable graphic.

** Need Improvement: If you plug in the code to wordpress template, it will popup every time the page get loaded, which will be very annoying, so I guess they can still improve it by placing a cookie to control the number of popups, and the timing.

Another cool thing that I like most is, creating the professional-look landing page. It's real simple and can save lots of time, compare to create it from scratch.

Other things that worth mentioning are the their extensive video tutorials, even tips & tricks on how to use this tools to make more money; other features include graphic creation and autoresponder (i have not try their autorespoder yet, and can't comment much on this, still prefer to stick to Getresponse). Oh ya, bz9 works perfectly fine with major autoresponder, such as aweber, getresponse, & etc.

I personally think that it's worth your investment, after all, it's only $12.95 per month for such powerful tools...

Pls note that I do not own bz9 and no affiliation with them whatsoever, so use it at your own risk....

Hi there, I just wanted to address a couple of points here.

1) BZ9 is free to join and most of the landing page services, the 12 short url and webmaster tools can be used for free whilst being branded with BZ9. Upgrading removes the branding

2) Timing and stopping the pop ups will be addressed, thanks for the feedback on this one.

3) As well as free membership we also have several payment options from monthly as already suggested through to yearly which equates to just $7.80 a month.

We have to make an ongoing charge for upgraded accounts as all services are run from our servers.

Well worth it if you need help with marketing automation. Just record a screencast of yourself performing the task once (use Bloomfire.com, JingProject.com, or Screencast-O-Matic.com), send that video to your virtual team recruited from oDesk.com/eLance.com so that they can get their training, and send your trained team into the field.

One way this system can be applied is SEO back-linking. I know that a top American SEO firm has a virtual team with 100+ members who do all the back-link work.

If you use it to spam forum with marketing message post, I believe it will hurt your ranking, I have never dare to try mass forum posting, and I think you should not too, or your will annoy the forum's owner.

SENuke - This is damn expensive, and it's monthly recurring at $127, however, it save you tons of time to achieve some heavy weight backlinks to your site with just a few clicks of the buttons. Before you subscribe to this powerful tools, you better know your stuffs first, and must familiar with SEO, or your money will be wasted. Not for newbie I believe....

Hi Erin,

Xrumer can easily get your site banned as well as get your site ranked fast, the only thing is you need to know how many is enough & how fast.

From my experience, it depend on how old is your site, how many authority backlinks you have, then you decide how many backlinks you need to generate with Xrumer.

For a new site (assuming you just want to use Xrumer only), I would suggest that you just have to create 200 to 300 profile links from high PR sites(minimum PR4 onwards), then use pingdevice.com to ping your links slowly say once in every 2 days, and only ping 10 to 15 links each time. If you can, sign up onlywire.com and socialbookmark your links (slowly too), so google will index your profile links you have created earlier and stay indexing for longer period. Continue doing so for the next batch of Xrumer blast, and at the same time, you can also do a blast of perhaps 5,000 links that backlinking to all your first tier profile links. Ping all 5000 links at one shot, no problem at all, this is to create more link juice that will ultimately flow to your money site. You will certainly see a good result in a matter of weeks. I have a new site with low competition keyword, get ranked on #3 position on Google in 2 weeks time with this strategy.

If your site is old, have many links pointing to your site, with page rank of at least 3, but just don't get ranked at the position you desire, just Xrumer blast to create 5,000 links directly linking to your site, once every 2 weeks. Then let Google to slowly discover your profile links, or you can ping them too slowly, 500 to 1000 links each time perhaps, just to play safe. Sometimes you will see your site disappear completely, but fret not, just continue building links, so long you never over do it, it will come back again with a better ranking sooner than you ever expected

Just my 2 cents... Do it at your own risk though......

It works for my sites, but I don't know your site, do it with your own judgments. You need to know your stuffs and how SEO works.

I will try the keyword blueprint tool as you mentioned it is free and better than market samurai. That really got my attention. Has anyone else used this tool?

For checking my website ranking, I prefer to use seoserp.com It checks my website ranking within the first 1000 Google results and reports the current position with a lot of accuracy. I love this tool.

I love Magic Article Rewriter, I dont use it to do auto spins. I love the interface so it allows me to do manual ultra spins with less effort than in a word document

I have tried many of the bot such as RSSBot, SocialBot, ArticleBot, VideoBot, Web2.0Bot. I still continue to use some of them but not as much.

Wow how I love automation!

I'm just playing around with Sick Profile maker, and it's now part of my arsenal, It's kickass!!

Also no one mentioned Unique Article Wizard for article distribution, it's one of my powerhouse backlink tools.

I just wrote up a post about all the tools I use to completely automate my SEO and Backlinking, I even have article writing automated without outsourcing...

Me too on SENuke X!!! The up keep on the current software was getting a tad spotty, then got better the last few weeks.

It makes you realize that they are just busting ass on SENuke and I really think it will be indispensable for 2011. If it's not buggy. But, I don't think it will be, that's why we've been waiting for 6 plus months!

A big woo-hoo for when it gets released!!!

- Unique Article Wizard:It does automatic submission, lots of directories to submit to although sometimes, the links in the report are not working so you can't check for sure what directories it submit to
- Submit Eaze: Lots of good article directories to submit to. Doesn't offer much auto submission but it's still a nice software. Article submission and directory submission in one

Keywords/Niche

- Market Samurai: Full features at cheap price (only $97 if you know the trick). I don't link keyword research module much because of inaccurate traffic volume. And I also don't link Rank tracking module much since it's too cumbersome. But love other modules.
- Micro Niche Finder: This software looks for exact number of traffic volume & competition. Although you can go to Google Keyword Tool to get the keywords, this software does save a lot of time.

Not to digress- someone mentioned Video Niche Dominator. I looked at the product and basically it creates videos by combining articles with pictures. Does anyone seriously watch those kind of videos where you slap articles against pictures? Does this tactic work?

Market Samurai is great, I love it!! It's great for competition analysis at a glance.

Here's a tip about creating a TOP NOTCH long tail keyword list with Market Samurai and Scrapebox.

I know a lot of people have both.

Here's what I do:

Take 4 - 5 related short tails (found with the GWT) and pop them into the Keyword Scraper of SB.

Scrape. Delete Dups. Scrape again.

By now you will have a keyword list of 500 - 1,500 keywords, most likely, maybe more. Shave down by eye if you like, but not necessary.

Now, plug them into MS and analyze. Take the filters "off" because some of these are going to be really long tail.

Anyway, this is much easier and faster than using say the GKT by hand. And all your keywords will be extremely targeted! You can build an entire site around these keywords and you'll have a great mix of relevant keywords.

For people looking for an advanced way to find more targeted keywords and track them fast as lightening (we all know that MS, even though it's great, but it pretty slow) is to use Rank Tracker one of the SEO PowerSuite tools. It really is AMAZING.

A little expensive for part timers, but if you really want to get into this business or you offer some type of SEO related services this is really a MUST.

just on the trial for rank tracker and it is awesome. a very fast and professional tool....all the good words about MS, I was going to buy that and use their ranking tool (i took a trial also), but after checking ranktracker it got blown away....will have to reconsider MS for its other features at a later date. im not even going to wait the 7 days on the rank tracker trial....paying for it tonight.

  I am looking into the bookmarking demon....after like 10 videos, looks great, but not sure if it is for me. Currently i only focus on one authority site of around 1000 pages covering around 20 niches and growing.
  
  problem i had with onlywire is that all the bookmarks came from the same profile unless i made more profiles (and the software laggs things down)...etc....just easier to pay a freelancer or a service.
  
  how fast is all the account creation and setup of each project on BD?
  seems like everytime i will need to do a new project from scratch. and i currently dont rent any proxys and that would be an added expense.
  
  can anyone offer me some tips or other angles to get social bookmarks on demand? would BD be worth it for my current situation? or is there a good alternative to outsource the task (ive used fiverr, wl marketing, but not as convenient and wl can end up expensive for unique accounts)

We use SENuke a lot, if you can afford it, it's wonderful...and with SENuke X coming out next month it will be even better.

But, honestly, if you're just starting you might want to outsource your link building. There is a learning curve involved that can be frustrating.

1. Aweber
2. Wordpress
3. NVU (or OptimizePress)
4. Host Gator (or Kavi's UMC) for hosting

I use them all.

No need anything complicated.

For me:

Market Samurai (still the best, especially with the recent updates including URL/Title comp)

Spin Chimp. less than half the cost of TBS and doesn't require the subscription to function.
