BuildMyRank - Effectiveness on New Sites?

Just wondering if anyone has experience with BMR on new sites? By new, I mean exact match keyword domains, about 1-2 months old, ranking 120-200 for the main keyword, and approx 3,000-8,000 searches/mo. I read the rave reviews on many sites but I'm starting to think it only works on aged domains trying to move up from like 20 to 3 or something.

Also, how long did it take for you to see movement? Reviews I had seen seemed to see big movement within a week and final results within a month. We're going on 1-2 weeks with 20-30 posts per domain for 7 domains and nada in the SERPs.
Maybe I just need to wait longer, but zero movement is concerning. Thanks.

    I use them successfully, but it is really hard to say based on the keyword. I go for longtail, so I don't have to work as hard. If you are in a very competitive niche, it will be tough. And, you do need to mix up your links, not only get links from them. Add bookmarks, articles, profile links, a mix of both high and low p/r.

    I also just started adding links to my BMR posts, so I can't say how much difference that will make, but I figured it can't hurt. They sure do get indexed well, but I have been seeing a decline after they fall off the homepage. So, adding the links should help.

    Yeah, I think I may have just been seeing too many reports of amazing results with just 10 posts in 1-2 weeks. My niches are not very competitive, but the sites are all new, and I believe it takes way more posts (and more time) than some had led me to believe in order to get a new site to move. We're going to pump 60-80 posts per primary keyword (all 2-3 word phrases with EMDs), and 20 posts for long tails that get like 70-400 searches/mo.

    I think the numbers on linkvanareviews.com are probably closer to what is really needed to see results (he did 50 for med comp terms and 90 for a tough one).

      I remember seeing his post about build my rank. I am glad I use it, I believe it does give your site more 'google trust', but I honestly don't do near that many. I write them myself, and even using dragon, that would be impossible.

      I find it easier to make a few posts to build my rank for each main keyword, then do bookmarking and articles to catch the rest. Both of those are more automated, so it is less work on my end.
      If you can accomplish all of that, you should really see a boost.

    BMR is astonishingly effective right now. However, if you think that 10 or 20 posts over a couple of weeks is going to get you on page 1 then you will (most likely) be disappointed.

    Personally, I try to do 5 to 10 posts a day per keyword. It has worked very well for me (and for some competitive keywords - not longtail). Day after day. If nothing happens in a fortnight (rare) then something else may be required.

    You will need to use your own skill and judgement regarding site age, competition level etc.

    Good results are very achievable with a little work and effort.

    Yeah we started out with 5 per day for primary keywords and now we've set it to 2 per day and going for 30 days. So all told there should be around 80 posts for several 2 word keywords that get around 3-6k searches/mo. The sites already had other links built too, so this isn't the only links we have for them.

    Sorry for dragging up an old thread - but I was just wondering if after several months using BuildMyRank if you have had as much success with your keywords as you were hoping for?

    I'm seriously considering using this, as I have heard a lot of good reviews - but most of them are from people who have made relatively few BMR links and seen surprising jumps in the SERPs. I'm targeting some medium competition terms, and I expect that it will take a lot more than 10 posts to get to #1, so I was wondering what you think of BuildMyRank after having tried it out for a while

      Well, yeah you will get good results but for relatively competitive terms you will have to diversify these links with other stuff fairly much (as already mentioned above)

      Another problem with the is that when posts go off the home page you are losing those high PR links right away (since these are blogs and they seem to be showing only 10-15 posts and posting rapidly) and those secondary pages that posts can be found at seem not being indexed as well as expected.

      All in all it definitely worth $57 a month if you add at least 2 projects and hire someone to do posts for you (odesk.com might be a good solution)

        Do you think this will mean that my sites will slip down the rankings after a few days because they have lost their PR1-7 links?

          You need to keep posting in order to get the most out of these types of services (since the posts fall off the home page after a couple days).
          That doesn't mean your rankings drop that fast, but it's not like you can add 10 posts and call it good.

            I have found that BMR posts need to be consistently done over time to sustain rankings. I have had sites with medium and low competition drop once i stopped doing 5-10 posts daily. Whatever post amount you do you just have to keep that consistently to keep up your results. I did 10 posts daily for a competitive keyword and got to page one but dropped once I lowered my daily postings, so you really need to consistently post to keep rankings.

            A few of my low competition keywords stuck when i did 10-20 postings spread out over 3-7 days.

    I think the key is just to go nice and slow, especially with a new site. I am for 1 per day per domain. This will give me 30 quality links each month, which will be 180 after 6 months. Mix that up with some other links and you will be well set to dominate page 1 of Google.

      I also wonder how many C class ip's their blogs are located at. If the amount is limited then the SEO effect is also fairly limited. Some sites go up in serps well but for more or less competitive sites get stuck on page #2 without implementing an aggressive push (using other strategies).
