Market Samurai Is Acting Like A Stinking Teenager

Something has gone horribly wrong with Market Samurai.
If may be happening to the rest of you due to the alarming message I'm receiving, although I highly doubt it.
I am trying to fetch new keywords for an existing project of mine. I decided to open up a new project to do this as I want to leave my core project untouched. I am basically looking for ways to branch my site out to more people. I am doing this by attacking more keywords.
Anyway, after I punch in my keyword and start my new project, I hit the kwords module. I hit the generate keywords button and then I get this scary message:
"Market Samurai has found no suggestions from the Google Keyword tool.
This may have occured if Google's data centers are updating, or if the adult content option in project settings is disabled."

My project has nothing to do with porn, or anything remotely sexual for that matter. I don't believe Google is making some big change; I believe other warriors would be posting they have been having the same problem.
The real bummer about this is I am less than a week away from the end of my trial version of Market Samurai. I want to contact their support, I'm just scared I might not get a response in time. What are my options?
Has anyone ever experienced this before? I have heard Market Samurai has a lot of glitches and bugs. Should I fight with them, demanding they give me an extended trial version? I can tell them that I am very unimpressed, and that if they stand any chance of getting me as a customer, they better give me a second chance to be impressed by their software.
What do you think guys?

    I do not own this program - but as with anything you should let them know. Any reputable company or business person would want to know if there is an issue with their software. Also, you can get an idea of how the customer service will be. (Hint: do a search in wf and see what others are saying.) Good luck

      I've been having the same issue for more than a week. They initially got back to me very quickly--asked me to log my next search and send them the link to the log report. Then I didn't hear from them until after my trial was over. Following their instructions, I uninstalled the program and deleted several folders with MS data. Then I reinstalled. Same error message.
      My frustration is really high because in other threads on WF about this, other users are having no issues at all. The program worked for me once, the first keyword search I did. All in all, it sounds like it might be a great product, but for whatever reason, it won't work for me on my computer. And they must be so overwhelmed with tickets that getting back to the trial users is just impossible. Their logo says "beta" and it sure seems true.

        I had the same problem for a couple of hours last night. I uninstalled and downloaded the latest and the problem went away.

          I just recently purchased within the past week. I have had no problems until today when I get the same message when trying to do keyword research. I have sent MS a request for explanation and am waiting for their reply.

            I experienced the same issue this past week (Wednesday night, I believe). I rebooted my PC, restarted the program and the error message disappeared. I haven't seen the error message since.

              My Market Samurai has been freezing during the keyword search. This has been happening for the past month and a half. It also freezes my Google Chrome.

    I too have been having the exact same problem with Marketing Samurai, which really sucks because I had some keywords I was trying to get some more detailed info on. I also use the Professional version of Traffic Travis as well but it is no where near as good as Market Samurai I hope that they get it fixed fast.

    Same here. Lost one project too, all the information, keyword research and ranking has disappeared. I deleted the project and tried to run a new one. Now it won't run any keyword searches. It appears to be breaking down just before the captcha should appear.

    I may look at uninstalling and re-installing to see if that happens. But that's a last resort really and hopefully an update will be forthcoming soon.

      You can uninstall an reinstall without losing your projects. An uninstall does not delete project data. Obviously, do not just go deleting files. Use Windows Add/Remove programs to uninstall.

    I'm experiencing the same error. I have it on three different puters with three different operating systems and get the same error. Uninstalled, reinstalled still no joy.

    My confidence in MS and other keyword tools has wained in the past few months. When all the numbers changed (Google tool numbers changed) back in November I've seen less and less validation in numbers reported. So every tool that's based on Google numbers has suffered the same lack of accuracy as far as I can tell.

    I run a lot of PPC for clients and you can certainly see the mismatches quickly on valid numbers of searches reported by the tool and then realized during the campaigns.

    Recently I've been doing better by getting into the head of the searchers rather than looking at the numbers of searches. Looking at strenth of competition still has value but looking at the amount of active searches is not what it once was for me.

    And it appears there are many that are experiencing this problem with MS with no apparent fix. Telling customers to reinstall the software is not a fix.

    Can't speak for others but the last update (yesterday) fixed my problems with the errors on accessing the Google tool. Running fine now.

    Issue resolved. Apparently Google keeps changing the way they do their CAPTCHA and this has been the root of the problem. Of course, things will always change, because Google can. I would not want to be without MS.

      Market Samurai has been on a steady decline for months now.

      At this point, i rarely use it!

      So many people were complaining about it on Noble Samurai's forums that they shut down the forums stating 'we're creating a better forum!' That was weeks ago.

      How weak! Instead of fixing their software, they would rather cut off their feedback mechanism. I use MNF daily now, and only touch MS for ranking.

      Oh, and BTW, MS uses google ranking checks at 100 per page, which means it's never accurate. Just do you know...

        MS has been working very well on my computer, no hiccups at all. Perhaps I wasn't using it on the days that Google was doing their "thing."
        I've had the program since its inception, never had a problem, and wouldn't be without it.

        I run Registry Fix at the end of the days work on the computer, to clear any problems that may have occurred. I do this because a tech told me long ago that errors in computer files can cause interactive software programs to malfunction. Maybe this is why I haven't had probs with MS.
