I too was looking at the Video Domination launch and now TubeFool. I was reconsidering purchasing TubeFool.

    However, after reading this post:
    http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...any-bells.html

    I am not interested.

Especially when most of this can be outsourced in a fashion that limits your accounts from being banned, compared to automation. You can find much more affordable "How To" WSO's that will get you and any outsourcer using best practices.

I also don't like the feedback I saw about how you are treated by the support team. If I am spending $500 and can't find the content I paid for and get a rude response..imagine what the rest of the relationship is going to be like.

I was very impressed with the demo video on the sales page, so I decided to check out YouTube's TOS to see what it said about such activities.

This is from section 4-H at http://www.youtube.com/t/terms:

You agree not to use or launch any automated system, including without limitation, "robots," "spiders," or "offline readers," that accesses the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the YouTube servers in a given period of time than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser. Notwithstanding the foregoing, YouTube grants the operators of public search engines permission to use spiders to copy materials from the site for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials. YouTube reserves the right to revoke these exceptions either generally or in specific cases. You agree not to collect or harvest any personally identifiable information, including account names, from the Service, nor to use the communication systems provided by the Service (e.g., comments, email) for any commercial solicitation purposes. You agree not to solicit, for commercial purposes, any users of the Service with respect to their Content.
Now keep in mind this is NOT a statement about whether or not the system works. Apparently it DOES work.

So I'm not saying you shouldn't buy it, and I'm not trying to hurt their sale. I'm just saying that if you're not OK with grey/black hat methods, then this may not be for you. That having been said, it's only fair to mention that MANY of the most popular marketing software programs being sold are in violation of at least one of Google's TOS. In fact, such tools are so prolific that they are generally considered to be acceptable by the marketing community. I know I've even promoted some of them.

But I felt is was worth mentioning, as others may want to take these things into consideration, as I did.

Me too. They might have had a new customer if they hadn't
of acted like such scammers in their DominatingVideo launch.

And also Tube Fool goes way against YouTubes terms of service!

Do you think You Tube wants you collecting a list of tens of thousands
of their members and spamming them everyday?!?

        OF COURSE NOT!

You'll end up getting banned or sued by You Tube in the end
with a BlueFart tool like this.

And believe me a multi billion dollar company like You Tube/ Google
will sue you if you continue to piss them off by abusing their
        users.

Also if the software is so great and you can make so much money
off of it then why are they selling it?

Because wouldn't that dilute it's power if thousands of people
        get their hands on it.

Oh yeah that's right... They're limiting the amount they sell.

And Andy if you're reading this then I would have sacked you
instantly if you had spoken to my customers like that.

I'm staying well clear of this overpriced garbage.

        Will

Wow, don't get me started on the Tube Fool lack of support and the rude treatment of customers. How does having an open problem report over ONE MONTH old (and counting) sound? How about a couple of emails with Mark Dulisse that clearly illustrates why his support desk treats customers in a cavalier manner.

At first, I thought it was me, but if you want a really nasty reponse from Dulisse, imply that his software is less than perfect. He responded to an error report that I submitted, more or less explaining that Tube Fool is a really complicated script and I had one hell of a nerve attacking it. I guess he thinks that you should just shut up and pay.

IF you can get a problem fixed (and that's a REALLY big if), it won't happen quickly.

My Tube Fool problem that is fairly simple is now almost 1 month old, and I even sent Mark Dulisse ALL the emails from myself and his support group. His response? Don't send that stuff to me, just tell me what your problem is. If he had actually bothered to read the content of the email he would have seen the problem described and the TWO links to my Screencast that I had to send those losers at his "support" desk.

I described the problem again to him and sent him the link to the Screencast that I created showing the problem. It's been three days. No word yet from His Highness.

The problem, I believe, stemmed from creating a user list of over 10,000 people. Tube Fool choked on it and would not let any items be removed from the list, effectively taking it down. Software that can only process a permanently static list isn't worth a whole lot.

I even explained to those folks that I really felt that deleting the user list would solve the problem and asked how to do that. No response.

I strongly suggest that you do NOT buy Tube Fool and think seriously before you buy anything else from Mark Dulisse. He apparently really wants your money, but he and his "support" desk don't like to be bothered with questions or complaints.

I've completely washed my hands of the Tube Fool garbage. Aptly named. You're a Fool if you buy it.

I discovered Tube Toolbox. Much better, more features and a whole lot less money. Check it out at YouTube Marketing with Tube Toolbox

I'll be registering a domain to tell my story about my supremely negative experience with Tube Fool and Mark Dulisse (and promoting it with SEnuke X). I really feel like I've been ripped off with this piece of unsupported crap, and I will not be going away quietly.

I'm thinking that you would be better off using the built in Youtube toolbox to find related videos to the niche you are looking for and reaching out to their "friends" asking them to be your friend.

Using Youtube's tools won't get you in any trouble and I believe you can get their toolbox for a very nominal monthly fee of around $9 or so.

I'm sure their product works very well but I'm wondering how long it will take Youtube to find a way to stop it?

    All the best!

Ahhh, I'm so glad I remember to check the Warrior Forum before buying most things these days.

I'm going to steer clear for the potential hot water I could get into with Youtube. Though I do like some of the ideas it has given me on approaching other's friends and subscribers - but I can do that manually (though of course on a smaller scale) or when I have the funds - outsource.

Thanks, Sally - I'm going to look into the toolbox suggestion as well.

My first thought was this will get your youtube account banned within the 21 minutes that the sales page says it takes to make money using this software just like an account of mine on facebook was deleted when I used automated software. i was considering buying it but then thought of good old warrior forum. Another $77 saved!

I'm glad this is here. I'm still going to purchase it to use it and see how effective it is. If it is, there are always juicy outsourcing lessons to be gleaned.

In my opinion, it's always good to be pushing the limits. It's always the rule-breakers that go farthest in life. (Of course that's not a popular opinion)

I purchased Dominating Video (subsequently requested a refund) and Tube Fool was one of the bonuses. I ran it to see what it could do and yes, it is very effective at downloading the email addresses of "friends" of the video publisher.
This created a dilemma! What do I do now? Do I spam these people? Do I put up a video in the same niche and hope that these people will follow me?

Maybe there is someone here who is much more inventive than me, but neither of the above options were ok with me, so TF just sits on my desktop twiddling its sneaky "thumbs" until someone comes up with an ethical way to use it.

Maybe I'm missing something, but 'when watching the demo of 'tube fool' what this software does is grabs the subscribers off the profile of a YouTube channel owner..

But what good are the 'subscriber' user names, because you don't get any email addresses attached to those user names. So how can you possibly contact these people to market anything to them.

      What did I miss?

        Hi Glen

        I purchased TubeFool.

You don't email the users. Think of this as "social marketing with videos". The idea here is to get them to your video. Then you send them to your url of choice.

The software will get usernames. These are the options:
        Get user's friends
        Get user's subscribers
        Get video comentators
        Get user's by keyword

        This takes a few minutes

Once you have the list of usernames, you can then:
        Send friend request
        Subscribe to their channel
        Share video with them

This part takes very long. The default setting is min 80sec and max 360sec. That is the time it takes to send these requests. I just sent about 100 friend requests which took about 5 hours. IMO it is mimicking manual requests.

I have a question too... in their video they say as a member they show you how to find profitable niches, and they elude to some techniques to making the $45-$200 per day. Was this information actually included?

I love the WF, really useful to weed through the BS.

            Hi Tredd

Any software can be abused. I think Tube Fool, with the min/max time settings, will make it a little difficult for spammers to abuse it. I hope I am correct.

Yes making money is included. It is basically affiliate marketing. Lets face it, if you have the traffic you can plug in and test various monetisation methods and see which works best for your niche and site. Even direct linking.

I purchased because I want to do more video marketing and save time on the time consuming aspects. The automation can run any time, even while I am asleep.

            HTH

P.S If you have any questions, just ask. I will do my best to answer or admit that I do not know.

I had a look at this thing a couple months ago, and as a long-time Youtube account holder with nearly 3 million views, I would be very wary of using such a product. If you must go the way of black-hat, create an entirely new account to try this thing out.

Google has a magical way of identifying ANYTHING automated, and honestly this is a strategy similar to auto-friend finding on Twitter - you are just going to end up with a lot of useless IM friends sending GUNK to each other. That is your best case scenario. At worst, your account will be closed without notice.

I have actually received some of these friend requests that are clearly automated. Not only do I NOT approve them, but I also report them as spammers. How many spam reports do you think Youtube will tolerate on your account from established video producers?

Youtube is an AMAZING tool, but the RIGHT way to go about it is to start creating original content that helps your target audience. It is just so simple. Invest your time doing that, and I promise you, they will come. It may not be overnight, but once they start coming to your channel for REAL content, you will not even be able to stop it if you wanted to.

The way I see it anyhow.

Sounds like Tubefool does exactly what Tube Toolbox does

I really like Tube Toolbox. Its cheaper than Tubefool, thats for sure

They have really good customer support

They make sure the setting in the software comply with Youtube TOS, which makes it white hat(Spammers won't be able to get around these filters)

And, like many said, after they way the owner of Tubefool conducted himself in the thread that many people in this thread have already mentioned, I would go with Tube Toolbox

I'm not being sarcastic here, but the really big difference is one works and the other does not. Tube Toolbox, by the way, is only for a single YouTube account. I assume you have to have another membership for a different YouTube account.

Now, if you could rely on Tube Fool being supported and rely on it always working (neither statements happen to be true), it might be worth the extra money. However, dealing with an individual with anger issues is most unpleasant and makes it completely not worth it.

If you are selling YouTube services, then factor the cost of Tube Toolbox into your customer's costs. You'll definitely like the experience

Yep...I did the exact same thing with a coupon code for TubeToolbox. PLUS...TubeToolbox interface looks much much better as well as all the same features of TubeFool and more. $135 compared to $500 is a no brainer. I also didn't appreciate hearing about the nightmare support issues people were having with TubeFool. Always be on the lookout for alternatives that do more and cost less....it's worth the extra time invested

I posted this on another TubeFool Review Post.
Just thought it was relevant to your post too.

I was browsing around the WF, and ran into
    some reviews about TubeFool.

It just looks a bit too unsafe for me.
I also checked out Tube Toolbox.
    It looks much safer.
And, there are way more 'useful' features than Tubefool.

I'm going to try out Tube Toolbox and I'll review it here

Tube Toolbox does indeed look as good if not better, for a LOT less money. Maybe I'm missing something though. Actual users and reviews are always better than outside advice but that's what I'm getting from my POV.

I thought it sounded like automated SPAM too, so I sent an email to the TF support desk and asked them how this could NOT be black hat marketing. This is the response I got:
'TubeFool doesn't do anything that you can't do manually
on YouTube...it just does it a lot faster!

As for using another person's subscribers, it's not like
you're stealing them from that person, because that
person still has them as subscribers. Plus, TubeFool
sends invites to these people, so they have a choice
whether they want to follow/friend you or not.

So, no, I don't think this is black hat.'
Note the last line... Sounds shady to me.

Guess that would make almost anything White Hat and nothing is really SPAM.

tubetoolbox and TubeFool both seem to be Grey Hat to me.
Still I guess it is save to use them, if one does it reasonably.

I was one of the first users of the software and have been using it for several months now across multiple different accounts. Some old accounts as well as several new ones.

All it does is automate what you normally do manually (which I used to do before the software came along) - add a friend, subscribe to a person, send a link to all of your subscribers.

No, it does not scrape their email addresses at all, only their youtube username so you can send them a friend request or you subscribe to them..so in fact you are giving them the option of being your friend or subscribing back to you. So you can either go ahead and do this manually if you want or use the software - either way it all does the same thing.

Great thread - I did purchase TubeFool... and it really is easy, easy to use - and powerful. However, will definitely check out Tube Toolbox, as I paid the monthly rate on TubeFool to check it out.

I can confirm the horrible customer service. Sent a ticket in 5 days ago, and still haven't heard back.

So, final analysis: Great software, horrible customer service.

Ya, customer service really sucks...but let me explain.

      Membership and wordpress scripts....yuk

With 1k new customers in just a couple days, the support inbox was flooded with "where is my login, where is my software."

      Rightly so...

Of course, this was all tested before hand, but the email server for some reason had issues.

And individuals were sending in, not 1, but 2-10 tickets each, all asking the same thing.

We went into emergency mode, and even I did supports as well. We pretty much got the handle on it now, as only about 100 tickets still left.

So, apologies. We are working our hardest.

Regarding the software, yes, it is very powerful. Remember, you can have as many Youtube accounts as you want. It doesn't cost you $15 per Youtube account per month (like another software does). It is unlimited usage you have.

Also, I am releasing a new upgrade any hour, and it will ROCK your socks off.

      Thanks for the support everyone.

      Back to work...

I can confirm that the latest release is way better than the previous one, allowing you to do multiple accounts was a constant annoyance, since I need to do the same thing for a lot of my clients -- and when you're adding 10,000 friends that certainly takes a while, but with that now dealt with I can queue up jobs for multiple clients and have them all running in the background. Sweet!!

        Thanks

Carl, Does it allow you to have as many channels as you want running at once? For example: channel1 sending friend requests, channel2 sending videos, channel1 also sending videos, channel3 subscribing. so on.
If it does allow this, do you need to be on a VPN or proxy? So it is not all coming from the same ip?

          Thank you so much!

Ummm, I think you answered your own question. Mark appears to be a very petulant person who is also not ethical. He treats his customers poorly and then retaliates for complaints by blocking access to software that has been paid for.

Is there any Canadian entity, like a Consumer Protection Bureau, that can step on this unethical person?

Yep, just talked to a youtube person, and while he did not say tubefool/tube toolbox are totally outlawed or anything like that at this point, he did say that type of action is not something they look at favorably, so it's a risk, that is for sure. And knowing how Google does it, they'll just come down hard and heavy, and the next thing you know, you are off the air. somehow, it seems to me, you can get lot of that done without risking your internet presence. I mean look at this way, would you take it if it was free, but you would risk your website? I don't think so. Then why consider it, if you have to pay.

Frankly, if I'd do it, I would go with tube toolbox for sure, from what I hear tubefool is not the way to go. An incomplete product with questionable refund/support system, so that would certainly add more risk into the equation. A software like this might not be such a bad idea, but one thing is for sure, you should use it with considerable care, and if you cant trust the product, I would stay away from it.

Maxitman - all I can say is "ditto". I just cancelled. I could not run the software because they say that you can't turn off your computer while you are running this "program". My laptop is at least 7 years old, working just fine, but if I don't shut it down for the night windows doesn't seem to install upgrades or whatever, and it slows down to a snale's pace.
I paid with paypal master card, and talked to them. They will make sure i get refund and not billed anymore by going through mastercard. i'm saying that - so others who can't seem to get a refund will know - It seems that both of the partners, Alex and Mark (profit monarch) have the same 'issues' going on - also on WF. Me stupid got both of them - gosh they sounded so good...Now I know for sure, that I wont just read the WF (WSO) sales pages, but dig a little deeper the next time.

I have purchased Tubefool before. To be honest I am not satisfied with this tool at all and the price is quite high ($77 and ongoing). This software is not working according to the tutorials. I returned it and asked for refund. They took more than 7 days to refund the money.

And I totally agree with Marty S. Google will catch the spammers. Quality content must be required to build a long term business.

Mark Dulisse is a Canadian. I don't know what good the FTC would do. On the other hand, if people quit buying his stuff, the message would resonate loud and clear.

If you define a crook as someone who sells something under false pretenses, then I suppose selling products that have no support, cutting off access to products paid for and treating customers with support issues as the enemy would certainly seem to qualify Mark Dulisse as a crook.

However, as long as the sheep continue buying from him, don't expect anything to change.

Don't waste your time with tube fool!!!

Please read all the way through...

In this post we are going to cover a software called Tube Fool, a product by Mark Dulisse. Tube Fool is a monthly-billed software that is designed to automate basic You Tube functions such as finding friends, finding subscribers and basically spaming You Tube users with emails and promotional offers and cost $77 per month to use the software.

In other words Tube Fool is a great way to get your You Tube accounts BANNED. If you watch the video on the official website, which I’m not going to refer you to this crap, they make it seem like the software is incredible and you can start making money within minutes of setting up your You Tube channel.

While watching the video these guys were making a few sales but I got the feeling that they were buying products using their affiliate links just to show you some quick sales. Anyway I bought the Tube Fool software and gave it a shot to see if it lives up to the claim.

I downloaded my copy of the software, got it installed, and started watching the videos on how to use Tube Fool. I followed the videos step by step as I was setting up a test account with You Tube. Now keep in mind that I followed all the steps in the videos to the ‘T’.

So once I got my channel set up I moved on to the actual Tube Fool software and started looking for subscribers of other popular You Tube users within my selected niche. I was able to find quite a few users to send emails and friend request to. Now the videos for the software instructs you to upload your videos to your YouTube account and then start sending links to those videos via email to the people you’ve found on other users channels.

Again I followed the videos to the “T’ and after a week or so I got quite a few friends and about 6 subscribers to my channel. I uploaded a few more videos and the views for my videos were increasing. As far as the emails that I was sending, well let’s just say that all it did was piss people off. Since I was already a bit leery about the Tube Fool software I decided to take it real slow and easy with the emailing to see if was safe to do so.

Fast forward about a week and a half, I go to log in to my You Tube account and guess what… BANNED. Now the good thing is I created a test account just to test things out. You don’t want to use your already established account to test this piece this software, actually you don’t want to use this crap at all.

I don’t know if you know that all the videos you upload to YouTube that you share and post on other sites will show something like this account has been banned for violating terms of service. Talking about embarrassing if you’re trying to build a brand and trust.

Anyway after about 3 weeks I decide that the software isn’t for me and decided to cancel my monthly membership and recurring charge of $77. All I wanted to do was cancel my membership; I didn’t request a refund for the initial payment just a simple membership cancellation was all that was requested.

Well just a simple cancel my membership, I don’t want to be billed anymore turned out to be the biggest nightmare I’ve ever had dealing with an internet company. I put in my membership cancellation request through their support ticket system with plenty of time before the next rebilling cycle. I got an email concerning my support ticket and it stated that the request was taken care of and the ticket was closed.

I went to the support area and all I seen was the ticket was closed so I was like OK they canceled the membership and then closed the ticket. Now can you believe that about a week or so later I get charged again for the next month’s membership even though I request a cancellation and the ticket was closed. Hmmm some shady stuff going on now is what I was thinking.

So I had to write these idiots over and over again and I got emails from a few different people stating that my request was forwarded to the billing department. Yeah right, why can’t one of these idiots just cancel the membership themselves? I know that Mark Dulisse’s company isn’t that large to where he needs many departments, but then again his shady practices probably gets lots of complaints.

Anyway after writing several emails I get a response that was somewhat promising. The email said that they did not receive a refund request and if I could send them the request again. I replied back stating that I did not request a refund but simply a membership cancellation. By this time I had already been billed for the next month, which the cancellation was placed a good 2 weeks before.

After a week or so of not hearing back I decided to write again and check on the status of my ticket and can you believe I got pretty much the same response about not finding my refund request. By this time I was really pissed so I wrote back in a rather forth coming manner and said I didn’t request a refund, I requested my membership cancellation and I also included that I was charged again for the monthly membership.

A day later I get an email saying that they would forward my request to another department and I should be refunded for the second month which I did not authorize. I was like OK sounds good to me. Well about two weeks pass and I don’t hear anything about my cancellation or refund. Now I wasn’t really expecting a refund from these fools but I did expect them to cancel my membership. The third month rolls around after my initial sign up and would you believe these idiots attempted to charge me yet another month? These clowns tried charging me again after all the emails sent about canceling my membership.

They even had the nerve to send me an email saying that the charge was declined and provided a link to get my account up to date. So I wrote these dumb ****s and this time I let them have it saying that it’s not suppose to go through and as a matter of fact I requested my membership be canceled almost two months ago. I also went on to inform these fools that as soon as the charge gets out of pending status I was going to claim the charge as fraud. I sent that response out to everyone that had responded to me previously.

Next I wrote the person that was so called handling my refund request and asked what the status on the refund was and he replies back stating “As of today we are no longer handling support for this product.” Now is that convenience or what?

Now remember all I requested was a cancellation and I had to go through all of this. I feel sorry for the poor sole that wants a refund. All I can say is GOOD LUCK. In conclusion I highly recommend staying FAR away from Tube Fool and anything else that Mark Dulisse offers because if you’re not happy with the product the support is the worst I’ve ever seen and Mark Dulisse and his team try and squeeze as much money as they can from you if you like it or not.

If you’re on others email list and they promote Mark Dulisse products then I recommend you unsubscribe from their list because they’re just trying to make a buck off you. They don’t care about the support being awful and a down right scam as long as their getting their money.
As you can tell by the length of this post I am quite adamant that Tube Fool is a scam and it’s publisher Mark Dulisse has shady business practices.
