I just got an email for this new IM product Profit Siege for $47.00

- has anybody bought this yet?

if you x-out of the page, you get a very cool tip though called the sub domain trick with com- domain names. I thought that tip was GOLD!

Anyway I would like to see what others think...

    Just purchased to see.

Upsell 1 is "2 done for you campaigns" - keywords, copy, traffic source, landing pages, how-to videos and monthly Q&A (one month). Price $297.

I didn't accept this, I click the link saying "I don't want all this work done for me, I'd rather spend hous of my own time getting it done..."

Hold on, maybe I didn't understand the sales pitch - isn't this now software I purchased for $47 going to do all the work for me?

Upsell 1(b) is "1 done for you campaign". Price $197.

    Again, I didn't accept this.

Upsell 2 is a "plugin" that "adds 10 landing pages for the hottest markets and offers to the Profit Siege software.." Price $97

Again I didn't accept, I clicked the "I don't want this Profit Siege software niche landing pack plugin. I'll pass up this chance and go it on my own, hiring someone else to create them for me for much more..." link.

Upsell 2(b) is as above except with 5 landing pages. Price $47.

    Again, I didn't accept this.

And now, inside the members area.

I am going to start with looking at the software first and then at the training.

    The Software
    -------------

The software is called PPV Demon and it is a script that one installs on one's host.

If one does not want to install it themseleves there is the option to register a domain and take hosting with "Brain Host" who will install said script for you. They recommend selecting a domain such as mytrackingsite.com as this will be the domain that tracks sales.

You can also install it on your own hosting.

The basiscs of the software - as described by the author.

Builds custom landing pages in minutes with no HTML knowledge required.
Modify campaigns without having to resubmit to CPA network
    Rate landing pages
    Auto real time payment notifications
    Real time stats

Inside the software you basically set up a a list of CPA networks you work with and can create/manage campaings inside each of these networks.

It also comes pre-loaded with a list of PPV networks where you can place your ads.

A campaign can be via landing page or direct linking. You would also set additional info about a specific campaing (such as max amount per view etc) and create a campaign for a specif offer.

The software creates a tracking link (that is used as the PPV link) and tracks all the clicks etc.

Also, a trackback link is created so that you can tell the CPA network to update the PPV Demon software for real-time tracking.

For the campaign setup and management, the software looks very good as it looks to have a simple an intuitive interface. The author has obviously spent time and money getting it the way he wants it.

Landing pages: when creating a campaign that requires a landing page you can select a page template from per-loaded templates and the software contains an editor to edit the base templates. The editing looks very simple and there is no need for HTML knowlege.

Again, it looks pretty good and it looks like the the author has thought the process through and actually uses the software.

    The Training
    ------------

    There are 6 modules.

CPV/PPV Marketing (8 minutes) - this gives an overview of what PPV marketing is etc

The PPV Networks (16 minute) - overview of the 8 PPV networks that you can/should use. Author offers to help with referal into Traffic Vance as they require a minimum of $1,000 deposit and referal. Also, he goes through each of the PPV sources in detail telling viewer about that source and how he uses it.

The CPA Networks - (18 minutes) - an over view of what CPA marketing is, how to get approved and how to work with them.

Depth Charge - (15 minutes) - This video explains the types of offers to target (such as walmart.com offer) and where to to target them. How to use compete and alexa.com so that you can use URL (instead of keyword) targeting.

Claim Jumping - (32 minutes) - This video explains how to target fake blogs and fake articles that are using media buys to promote on sites such as TMZ etc.

Single Click Cash - (27 minutes) - This video explains how to build a list by capturing name/email prior to sending PPV traffic to the offer you are promoting. There is an example landinging page in the software (note that for this one would need to know HTML to plug in ones own autoresponder details).

    Bonuses
    --------

There is a $40 PPV coupon code for Direct CPV if you deposit $150 for ads.

    Resources
    ----------

Thios section contains details of the CPA and PPV networks and sites where you can do research on offers etc.

    Summary
    ---------
No doubt, the author knows his stuff and the PPV Demon software looks excellent for creating and managing campaigns/landing pages - from the tracking perspective.

If I were looking for a tool to do this (I have done some PPV marketing) then this is the best I have seen.

If you are a current PPV marketer who wants to streamline the process of managing/tracking etc, then this would be a good choice.

The training is good. Again, if you are a current PPV marketer then I would suspect that the last three modules will expand you knowledge and give you better insight.

Something I didn't like was the glossing over of the importance of URL/keyword targeting when setting the campaign on the PPV network.

In one part of the video when the author was setting up a campaign he said (and I paraphrase) "you can enter a short, targetted list of a few kewords/URLs and then expand later - or you can enter a long list of keywords/URLS at first and then scale back. It is up to you - I tend to enter a small list and expand - but both methods are fine and it really is up to you".

While true - this is definately not what a newbie wants to hear. The keywords and URL's in the campaign will be a major factor in the profit/loss equation and their research and maintenance should be a major factor in a course such as this.

Note: - in the relevent section of the training videos the author does say to use "only URL's" for certain types of campaigns.

For me, I am no longer interested in PPV, so I will be getting a refund.

For the person already in the PPV market, the software is well worth the 47 bucks and the training will no doubt expand on your knowledge.

For someone who is determined to start PPV, then this is a good course as the software is good and the training, basically, solid.

So, if PPV is your thing or interest you, this is worth a look. If not, then probably you should move on to the next big hyped-up product.

When-oh-when will these over-hyped sales pitches stop (rhetorical question).

LOL! Black Hat Cat. Too funny.

WahbReview: thanks for the very detailed review. I gotta admit, these sales pitches need
a little new flavor. However, gotta give it up to them for taking action and following
        persuasive techniques that actually convert.

The ultimate answer to making money online really is taking massive action instead of
watching it happen before our eyes.

Thanks WahRbReview for your deep review.

I do not recommend Free Mass Traffic software. There is a bunch of bugs. I complained many times & finally a woman called Sarah (I think Chris' wife) offered me a free product as long as I do not ask refund.
After that each time I mailed her to ask support I got auto respond email that contains that offering.

Seeing that they can't fix the problem I asked clickbank to refund.

Thanks for the detailed review. My impression of the sales pitch was Steve Rounds claiming that basically all you need to make money from Profit Siege was to let the software run and collect the money. He also made it seem you would be getting "server metling" traffic from free and little known sources. There was no mention of PPV or having to pay for any traffic in the sales pitch.

To be fair it's quite refreshing to hear "For the person already in the PPV market, the software is well worth the 47 bucks and the training will no doubt expand on your knowledge. " So this is not one of your average snake oil jobs.

I'm not currently into PPV, but never say never. Noted for future reference.

      Many thanks.

Among recent products, I can recommend Google Sniper 2. It's a nice combination of ebook and video (read a chapter, see the associated video) and the method is pretty simple, easy to follow and it seems like it should work. I've only earned a few dollars with it so far, but I do have traffic.

Very good review. If the software is good for doing PPV, it deserves a place for its price. After all, $47 for a piece of good software is not a bad deal.

Perhaps, it's better if the product creator gives more information about the product, then the refund rates will be a bit less. Give people what to expect so that they won't be surprised to see what's included... especially with so many upsells.

          Hey Guys,

Let me give you my own little review of Profit Siege. I bought it on Thursday and I got the basic membership and went for the upsell of the Gold package which was the 5 landing pages. I'll be honest I was actually going to go for the main upsell just to try and get a god jump on this program. However the paypal program wasn't set up to receive Bank account transfers. Anyway I'll be honest with you guys I have never ventured into the area of PPV so this was an all new experience for me. The main reason I even ended up buying Profit Siege was just knowing of Steve Rounds and his reputation, I usually don't buy that many products. Anyway I got the membership and dove in head first! I first watched every video and then installed the software. I signed up an advertiser account with Direct CPV and you get a great bonus of an extra $40.00 in advertising budget through Profit Siege as well. I went through my CPA accounts and picked a simple zip submit and followed through setting it all up by watching the videos as I did it. Direct CPV approved the ad later that day and I was off and running! I have just been running with this one simple zip submit but will be scaling up quickly. In my opinion I thought if you got nothing other than the training videos you would be ahead of the game, I learned ALOT from them. I logged into Profit Siege only to see they are adding more bonuses and they don't seem like they are stopping any time. I was more than happy with what I had gotten for 47.00 so you can imagine how I felt when I saw they would be adding more features! Anyway if you are sitting on the fence go ahead and jump on this, I really feel as though this is going to be one of those golden investments. By the way no one asked me to do this review, I'm just doing it out of support of a really good product. I think it could really help alot of us out. Anyway best of luck to ya.
Thanks for the review. So what results have you been getting with the zip submit as you are keen to scale up already?

I've been using CCleaner for a few years now and haven't had to pay a dime, although I haven't upgraded to the new version, maybe that's the difference? Anyway, I donated a couple of bucks through their Paypal donation button a while back, but was never 'required' to do so. FYI.....

Just curious guys but how did you make your decisions on not to buy without even trying the product?

With most of these CB products I tend to ignore the sales page and press the buy button and take massive action for at least the duration of the return policy. Profit Siege allows a 60 day return so my thinking was WTF lets give it my best shot.

My initial take on the course is that it was well worth the price of entry. There is a ton of value and some methods I had never considered when I last tried CPV.

I keep ya posted on my progress and ROI. I'll be trying depth charge and/or claim jumping next week.

      I don't get it ! !

What makes the .com TRICK "cool" ? ? ?

OK, might be cool to respect how some creative dude thought it up, but NOT cool to do it. Same as talking about stuff in The Anarchist Cookbook is fun, but not cool to do it.

Exit the sales page and you'll get a free video all about it.

You buy some deliberately screwy domain name, e.g., com-abc123.info for 9 bucks. Then prefix it with your own subdomain name; say, walmart. That part's instant, easy and free. Until Walmart's attorneys track you down. Probably a good way to get banned by every CPA network on the planet, too.

Then you post a full-page graphic ad for a Walmart CPA offer inside an iframe so the visitor/chump clearly sees the ad as being from:
http://walmart.com-abc123.info/more_stuff_to_confuse_him so you've fooled him into thinking he's looking at a page on Walmart's website.

Even used-car salesmen, lawyers and politicians aren't quite THAT cool.

How long has deliberately fooling people so you can sell them something been "cool?" (I mean, besides whole-life insurance?)

Just because you know enough code to know how to cheat people doesn't mean it's OK to go ahead and DO it.

If you think it's so "cool" why don't you tell me your address. I'll call your electric company and tell them I'm you, and have them shut off your electricity because we're leaving town for 6 months. "And if someone tries to get it turned on again, it's my creepy, homeless ex-brother-in-law, so don't listen to him, no matter what!" Ha-ha-ha. Playing dirty tricks on people is a lot of fun, isn't it?

All this kind of behavior will do is turn a lot of people off to buying anything on the internet.

So, as near as I can tell, you'd have to be bone-stupid to follow this advice. But it does give the impression the guy's got some kind of 'secret knowledge.' It just seems like a poor way to present yourself to the public. Criminals probably think it's a GREAT idea.

(Sorry for shouting. This one really got to me.)

I've been going through Profit Siege and thought I'd shed some light on it.

I think this is a VERY good product on PPV, both the tactics and the software.

The very first time I even heard of PPV was in 2008 from a Joe Lavery/Matt Bacak product.

The tactics and technology have come a long way since then by the looks of it inside Profit Siege.

Some people may not "get" the power of this stuff. That's ok. They're not ready for it or they don't quite see what they're looking at for what it is.

Then there are just people who will whine because that's what they do for just about everything...

Then there are others who see that PPV is still really like the Wild West (there's A LOT of opportunity here) and you'll take this and run with it.

    This is all totally legit.

To me this training and software is a huge leap forward compared to what I previously knew about PPV. It's going to help me and people like me make a lot of money, I'm sure of it.

Though I appreciate the reviews and input herein, and as I understand it, the course is very educational. However, where's the money?

Is there anyone who has gone beyond the "training" to make any money with this course? If so, what is your conversion? How much in advertising did it take to make $X?

I am always intrigued to read about some program's good training, but rarely does anyone ever post positive revenue generation about anything. This particular course/software is supposed to be a money generator, not an educator, so where's the revenue?

Wow this forum is so awesome - and thanks to everyone who has taken the time to post re: profit seige, I recently purchased and for once did purchase a few of the upsells - however to date, I have only gone through a few of the training videos and they seem okay, very informative for someone like me who wants to know more about PPV

Traffic is the key to this game and I want to understand all avenues of driving it... and that is what the sale page inferred. PPV seens very intriguing and as I learn more I will definitely share -

The one thing I know I don't care for is the brianhost portion of program - where you can get a free website made for you -value for some ridiculous price like $2,500 or more... however in order to get the free website you have to purchase hosting from BrianHost... and the price is way to high, no 24 technical support, plus I believe the host you purchase is only for one domain name... and that really is not good...plus a $20 activation fee that was written was waived if you do 6 months or more... said you got a free domain name however my domain name cost me $14.95 - and I never pay more than $9 for a domain name.

I fell for the 'trick' and will probably be getting a refund, I ended up paying close to $100 for 6 months years of hosting with many limitations and already have unlimited hosting with two different sites -(one site I paid $120 and have 4 years for unlimited hosting of websites and blogs)!

However - back to the actual product... lol - the author really seems to really know his stuff and I had originally brought Mass PPV and should have asked for a refund.. but didn't... however, this training seems awesome..

I will keep you informed as I make my way through the entire course before the 60 day refund period expires.

Thanks WahbReview for the thorough review!

I tried PPV last year - Deposited the required $200 into account - ran keyword campaigns on 5 products - dropped some, added others - I made $9.95 after spending $150 of the account money - stopped all and got the remaining money out of my account and closed it
Almost as bad as PPC on the big G!

I did all the research and had several e-book products back then as guides - what a waste of $$ (at least for me)
I also know there are some out there that do very well with this, but I'm not going back there again!

I'll stick to the "work hard, do better" work ethic.
      Again,

No thanks; been there, done that. Maybe it's possible that no one has made any significant money from this program yet. I do believe this program, like most others, do have some value, but where's the real proof that they actually generate revenue as the program was advertised?

Author credibility should mean a lot, right? In his rehearsed/scripted promo, the author mentions a guy who he said had trouble purchasing xmas gifts, but made $5k-6k his first week using the PS software/process. There's no mention of the advertising dollars spent/needed to make that dough, nor how much of that was profit. Pardon here, but I find it very unlikely that a guy seemingly living paycheck to paycheck can earn $5k in his first week in the PPV market.

Secondly, the author, trying to relate to broke affiliate marketers, mentions he made $8k+ one week which normally took him three months to earn at PayPal. Really! PayPal, in CA, was paying a key coder less than $3k per month...again, not likely.

Pardon...this is not AM program bashing...for once, I would just like to see a raw, honest presentation, and some revenue results, not just read it is good educational material.

This is a great program, I was one of the beta testers for the software and all I can say is WOW what a great time and money saver this software was. It helped increase my sales and my ROI.

Also got to look at the course training as well and it is just great insider training and I was surprised to see that they where sharing these secrets. I bet they are getting some hate mail from the large gurus for sure.

All I can say is that it is worth the $47 hell the bonus vid alone is worth $47 and that is just one of the secrets that they reveal.

I do not normally give reviews but this one I could not keep from sharing my opinion with the great members of the WF.

        Hope this helps,

How did it help increase your sales, specifically?

If a website has traffic, every single one of these AM programs will work. Sadly, 99.9% fail to show the marketer how to generate the traffic necessary. Does this program show how to generate traffic, specifically?

I purchased this plus the upsell for the template plugins 2 days ago but I didn't know it was for PPV or PPC which I know nothing about. That was before I came here and found these reviews but before I send it back for a refund, I have an idea and a couple of questions:

Did you ever wonder why these programs get 95% bad reviews? Could it be that there is too much work involved for one person and nobody knows how to do every single thing that has to be done? Nobody knows everything and the smartest people on the planet will tell you they don't either. The questions and comments are always the same:

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm tired of running on the Hamster Wheel just fast enough to exercise my bank account a little bit so I can get off and back on with no help. The faster you go, the more money you spend and the more help you need getting off but nobody wants to catch you when you're broke so what do you do? I would be very careful around using trademarks in subdomains at the moment, Microsoft is suing Digispace (the guys behind "The Magic Bullet System") and yMultiMedia (their affiliate network) for "inducing" others to breach trademark in domain names. Here's a link to the story.

I think its ironic that this guy is promoting that technique and a product that does something very similar to what Magic Bullet System does - albeit at a significantly lower price.

Why do i need to learn methods, his sales pitch said he hit the button and left for 7 days, thought the software was suppose to do it all,

I know what this is really all about,

1st he worked for paypal stealing peoples money by freezing there account, He got fired so

2nd he decided to create a BS program so he can continue to steal from you,

May be good info and neat tools but i am so sick of these over hyped offers, I bought commission crusher was same crap turn on the software and watch the money role in, there was no software he made a search page is all he did that got you info you could get from Alexia or Quantcast, no where did they tell you that you would spend hours researching and i am sure this is no different, Ill stick to the methods that doesn't cost $47 to $97 bucks that return the same results,

Guru's take advantage of people who are new who see crap like that and believe it, Mean while they get rich when the new guy could of fount everything in that $47 package on google,

I've noticed there's nothing new with most of these new products. I've been purchasing
internet marketing products for last decade and most of the content is amazing but really
it's just rephrased and graphically enhanced to make it look like a new product.

I think most of us buy too much without trying.

Thank you very much for such a detailed review I nearly fell for it . Looks like there's a lot of these products they come with a small price tag on the front and then a bunch of upsells that if you dont get them the "software's" functionality becomes limited. I think in future as soon as I see these my first port of call will be the forum so i can save myself some disappointment.

The Warrior Forum continues to be a treasure trove of information. Thanks to WahbReview for the detailed review. If I was ready for PPV it does sound like pretty good training and information for that business model.

Buying traffic like that intrigues me, however I would wan to make sure everything in the sales process was in Top condition and working order as well as an offer that converts. Seems it would be easy to run through the dough fairly quickly.

      Cheers Warriors!

This stuff is a rehash of a rehash from at least 4 other 'çourses' that have been released over the past year.

I mean how many times can this sort of stuff be regurgitated?

Thanks to everyone who posted a review about Profit Siege plus many other reviews. Now, everytime I get an email or some other msg about a "fantastic" product that will make me millions of dollars over nite, I check out the Warrier Forum.I am sure I have saved myself lots of dollars and frustration.

Just a thought, On a slightly different note: for those of you who were looking into Profit Siege, doesn't it sound very similar to Commission Crusher and Commision Worm? maybe slightly different methods or markets, but same ideas and similar techniques (and sales pitch?)

Thanks again all of you for all of the very helpful reviews and comments.

Thanks everyone for contribution here. I saw this from a marketer I respect sending me the link, basically saying the seller is the "real deal".

OK worth a couple min to take a look. ( look at most of these early am on my iPad, when I'm awake, but not ready to get up.)

Plenty of pushbutton hype on the sales page, enough to make you think, hmmm did someone find another ethical way to automate most of the income process?

Then I jump over here on the forum to see other opinions...

Thanks for saving me loads of time...

I don't know if there is a discussion on opportunity cost going on on a different thread or not, but that may be the biggest, cost on any of these products.

We all only have so much time in the day to deal with our business and personal lives.

Chasing these products down the rabbit hole can take valuable time away from things that may already be working for us, that with more focus could lead to increased revenue. But instead we just lost two days learning something we may never use, that may have an entry point ( the front end marketing investment never mentioned in the copy) too high for our current situation. ( OK off the soapbox now)

That's true opportunity cost, not only the time/energy expense, but the lost increase in revenue from your current focus.

I was invited by a millionaire friend of mine, and just spent two days consulting with a businessman who sold his company for $500 million. We had dinner at his home (largest home west of the Mississippi. ( yes larger than Bill Gates 60,000 sqr feet.)

If you are "done" chasing this kind of product and want to learn about real business, PM me here or search me out and send me an email, I'm not hiding.

I have video I shot, that I'm processing and should be able to get you a link shortly.

Back to my original point for posting, thanks again to this forum and members who take the time to contribute so that others can make better informed decisions about items out there ready to distract us...

Nobody else has mentioned it so I will...

I have refunded this product for a different reason. It does roughly what it offers, it's a PPV tracking tool. It isn't as good at what it does as say Magic Bullet System, but it's not $3000 either.

I received an email from the creators of the software the other day saying something to the effect of, "It looks like we're onto something! We're ruffling someone's feathers. They've hacked our licensing server, gotten some email addresses but your passwords are all encrypted and we only store a hash (blah blah blah - try to blind with science)."

So about five minutes later, the "hacker" sends me an email telling me how he got my email address and how the Profit Siege makers are spying on my campaigns, etc.

I went right to CB and demanded my refunds due to this security breach.

For an "elite" programmer like this (i'm being facisious) to get done like this on his own licensing server is embarrassing.

I purchased this about a month ago, as I was looking for an alternative to Prosper 202 for my CPV tracking. I attempted to install the software on my server, and was not successful. I've installed other tracking programs, such as Prosper and PPV Dominator, so I'm not new to this.

I finally got a support response close to a week later, and they were wanting my log in information on my server to "SEE" what the problem was. At the same time, I started noticing a LOT of spam e-mails that were mostly CPA offers. Since he, Steven Rounds, stated in one of the training videos that he hammers his list(s) with these type of offers, it got me to thinking...

Needless to say, I ended my relationship with "Profit Siege" immediately. The software "looked" good in the demos. But, for only $47, I had this inner feeling that something just wasn't right, and now all those "life changing" offers that keep showing up in my Gmail spam folder proves it.

I cannot comment on the functionality of the software, as stated I never got it installed. After seeing all of the "ready made" template up-sells and then watching ALL of the videos in every section in the members area, my gut told me to bail, and that's what I did. I didn't even ask for a refund.

Heck, the next day I found what I was looking for in CPV Lab. It's a lot more expensive, but it's already paid for itself many times over. Profit Siege wasn't about the "software" anyway, it was about the upsells and who knows what else. My opinion....stay away from it.

      @ WahbReview

I really don't know why everybody is talking about a great review.
      It is not.

Saying, "I'm sure it's a great software for tracking" without having set up one campaign is far away from a review, not mentioning a great review.

The best comment so far? The one from Black Hat Copy Cat. Doesn't sound nice but it so f**** true.

There is no and there never will be a tool that will make you money on autopilot without learning the ropes and investing time and money.

You have to learn, apply, test, adapt, learn, apply, test; Rinse and Repeat.

Get it or continue buying crap and cry about it in the all of the forums.

Have heard of PPV for long time and find it is hard to start PPV always was taught how to get approval from the PPV supplier. Seems like it is tough as many has told how to apply to them till how you talk to get them approve your membership before you could market.

First time this Profit Siege make me feel going into PPV could be less stressed. Agree with the above review that the PPV Demon set up are well organised. Though not started yet. Giving me the courage to squeeze out my busy schedule to start this area with them. Hv purchased the basic and gold and just finished the first webinar video. Feel go - saw demon on how to input - though needs to hands on. Will be back to update and hope to contribute to this forum
