Hi everyone,

I am looking for a free PDF to Word conversion tool to edit my e-book. There are a number of such tools out there, but the free trial versions only allow conversion of 3 pages. My e-book is 93 pages. I am not in a position to make any purchases.

Can anyone recommend a tool to accomplish what I need to do?

It's not easy to find a free PDF to Word conversion tool as you've probably found out.

You could take a look at these two websites and see if they are appropriate for you.

1). Free PDF to Word Converter version 1.1
Free PDF to Word Doc Converter - easy and powerful pdf converter software.

2). Free PDF to Word Converter v1.3
Free-PDF-to-Word.com - Free PDF to Word, PDF to RTF, PDF to DOC convert tools!

Alternatively, you could try an online file conversion at
Zamzar - Free online file conversion
and concert a PDF file to Word.

Yet another solution is the free Open Office. Open office can read Word documents, and can create PDFs.

I use Open Office and it works really well for converting docs to pdf. Not sure if it will reverse engineer them?

  It can be done with the Sun PDF Import Extension for OpenOffice 3:

  Unprotected PDF's can be imported into Draw using 'File - Open', then 'Edit - Select All' copy & paste into Writer. It's not perfect yet though.

open is useful for conversion of DOC files to PDF but is useful for PDF to DOC files too? I used to go through many ebooks. If any one suggest any other tool, that will be great for me.
