Need A Membership Site Script & Recurring Billing With Clickbank

Hey Warriors,

I have a client who wants to set up a membership site on Clickbank with two member levels. For example...

Level 1 (Standard) $20/month

Level 2 (Premium) $100/month

I've emailed Clickbank over a week ago and never got an answer.

Has anyone done a multiple membership level site with Clickbank? If so, what membership site script did you use to run it? Will the script allow people to upgrade/downgrade their member level on their own?

I usually use LFM but at this time it only supports one-time product purchases with Clickbank.

    If you're using wordpress: Wishlist member is good and easy to use

    If you're using wordpress or not using wordpress: Digital access pass is good, has more advanced features than wishlist member, but has a slightly higher learning curve... you may want to look at digital access pass features in depth to see if they will benefit you now or in the future.


    For my needs, I ended up being ok going with Wishlist

    I've used Wishlist for this exact thing...

    I did need to contact their support initially as most people don't seem to use it for CB payments but we got it working.

    One thing I would say though is - test your server before going live. I ran into php resourcing issues once I launched and had hundreds of members joining and it took the server down twice, so whatever the documentation says about required resources - double it.

    I'm using Wishlist member and have found it to be very good so far.

    Easy to set up and they just keep making it better and adding more features.

    You can have multiple levels and sequential content delivery so it's pretty flexible as long as you want to use Wordpress.

    Hey Mike,

    I've used both. Definitely go with DAP. It's easier to use and it does a LOT more. And they'll install it and configure it for you for like an extra $20, which is nice. Wishlist doesn't have built-in affiliate tracking, but DAP does. Hope that helps.

      I think DAP (Digital Access Pass) is great! It has so many features built-in for all types of billing and works great with Clickbank. It will protect your download pages perfectly as well.

    I think we have a plugin iminent for LFM to do that Mike, let me check on the ETA for it

    Mike,

    For what it's worth, DAP supports both one-time and recurring payments through ClickBank.

    DAP also integrates with their INS system (like Paypal's IPN), so CB will notify DAP on your site of any recurring payments.

    And DAP also supports CB's 1-Click Upsells, which uses INS. So using CB & DAP, you can do multiple 1-Click Upsell offers after someone has completed their initial purchase, without them having to re-enter their credit card information.

    And the upsells can be to additional recurring products, or to one-time products.

    Everyone I have spoken to keeps saying we should look into continuity websites. Someone spoke about these very two programs to look into using. I think it is time to get out the note book and start brainstorming some idea.. so thankful I stumbled onto this thread very helpful.

    A membership site script that I have used in the pass that has worked well for me for different projects was the Easy Member Pro script.

    It offers the functionality that you are looking for re: multiple membership levels, and the ability for members to downgrade or upgrade themselves amongst others.

    I've used it exclusively with Paypal, but you can use Clickbank as your payment processor if you like, it does offer that ability.

    Now, if you were looking for more of something that would work with Wordpress, this wouldn't be for you, as it is a seperate piece of software altogether.

      Glad to hear that Easy Member Pro worked for you.

      I tried it on two of my sites last year and had a very bad experience with the script and their tech support so I no longer recommend their product.

    having multiple levels is simple with the scripts mentioned .. but can this be done with clickbank as the cart?
