PRODUCT REVIEWS

Hi Guys,

I could do with a little help here! I have got a good niche but I can't keep up with the content creation for it, but as it's a viral type website i want to set it so that users posts make up the content like "fail blog"

I want users to be able to comment on posts and have there own profile. I originaly set it up as an affiliate website but i think there are loads of possibilities with it.

So if anyone knows a good pluging or the one that fail blog uses please let me know..

Use the MU (Multi-User) feature of WordPress. Try to go one step further, use BuddyPress and turn your site into a social network if that sounds feasible to your plan.

Thanks, I have looked at BuddyPress but might go back to it again. MU is that a feature or a different version of wordpress?

No need to use MultiSite (there is no such thing as MultiUser anymore) and BuddyPress is a pain in the arse.
You can use this plugin for the "fail" posts: WordPress Plugin: User Submitted Posts | Perishable Press
Or get GravityForms.
For members stuff:

I have the User Submitted Posts plugin and love it but so far all I get are spam submissions.. good thing I have the posts set to "pending"..
