Traffic Kaboom -- any reviews?

I got a promo for Jason Potasch's "Traffic Kaboom" product, but the sales video is not showing examples of what it is, how to use it, etc.

It sounds like a blog network, but I'm really not sure that's all it is.

Price tag: $497/yr

i just attended the webinar, it does sound good, basically submits articles and videos to a blog network. The one thing i didn't like is that you are limited to 3 submissions per day. I'll be keen to hear reviews from people who use it and the results they get.

As a devoted fan of Jason Potash and Jason Katzenback, I would like to chime in on this one. Why am I a fan of those guys already?

As some of you know I am a customer and member of another product that include training, strategies, software and SEO and traffic tools. So I have first-hand experience that these guys not just deliver, but over delivering might be an understatement.

I might sound biased here, and of course I am...

What I have seen inside the membership of other programs owned by these guys convinced me that they work virtually day and night to be on the edge of what is happening in the industry and they know the marketplace, because, what you get when you buy is a line of tools they use in their own business.

Yes they actually have a business outside IM, and they build websites and promote those sites using all the tools and strategies that they give us, the members of their programs.

It is not about friendship, but it is that I see what they are doing. It is perhaps not so much about inventing the perfect tool, or having the best strategies or being the first one to figure out something.

I guess it is about consistent work and teamwork, and trying and failing as well, when you see successful ideas emerge as a result of your efforts. And you observe the results others get, implementing your systems, constantly tuning everything based on real results and real changes in the environment [google among others].

You can go high and low and use different strategies for implementing external SEO. On site seo is perhaps only going to be successful implementing one basic set of rules, though off site optimization is an ocean of possibilities.

You do not have to invest in Traffic Kaboom in order to get top ranking, it is one tool among many, but as I see it, using the tools and strategies from "the Jason’s" has helped me figuring out a lot and I am rising in the search engines for many good keywords.

My experience is that I get a lot more than the cost of the programs, but that is not the most important.

        Most important is Result.

Traffic Kaboom is a new tool though it is about video syndication based on a network of real niche blogs started in 2006.

Just think for yourself, would you like to have access to such a network, included innovative video distribution tools? Would that give you results?

Personally I cannot wait to start using this new tool and system.

Yea, its a video and blog submission network....

Here is info taken from one of the email

    Traffic Kaboom…

    1. Blasts your videos to the top video directories (making sure that
each video submission is totally unique)

    2. Drip-feeds your content (articles and videos) to the huge, high
quality Traffic Kaboom blog network... geting massive exposure
to your submitted videos PLUS backlinks directly to whatever
    site(s) you are promoting.

This two-step process provides a big "KABOOM" effect that makes
Traffic Kabom so incredibly powerful at generating traffic.

    Its still not clear.
How many video submissions and where will the videos go.
How many blog in the network?

Is it mainly a video syndication network or is it equally good as a blog network.
Do they accept spun content ?

Based on how syndicate kahuna works, your amount of submissions is related to how many quality blogs built out with unique content you register in the system

It is both article and video syndication. You do not need to do video in order to get advantage of the system. However as you know, video is the thing today, but not all sites ranking well use video, as you might have observed.

Spun content, I am not sure, but ask your self do you know how many video submissions you need to get top ranking? or do you know how many articles you need to submit in order to get desired results?

The reason I ask this is because you are offered a system which is designed to work, and if you need to supply hundreds or thousands of articles, you should perhaps go the spinning way, but if it is enough with 5- 10, you could as well do it by hand. Submit 10 different articles on different keywords. but this is probably thought of by the creators, either way.

What I mean to say is that the system is designed by its creators to be effective. If there are any rules, they are to protect your interests, and if you need to spin articles in order for it to work for you, I guess this is taken care of by the designers of the system.

      I hope this helps

In syndicate Kahuna, the power you get without submitting your own site to the system is plenty to promote at least one site of yours.
[3 articles per day syndicated to the network].
If you want additional power to fuel promotion of many sites, I guess you have to contribute to the system, adding quality sites. I am not sure yet about the exact numbers in Traffic Kaboom.

Additionally, there are solutions in place so your content and headlines comes out in different variations so just a handful of the sites will have the same content on it. It wouldn't look good if thousands of sites linked back to you with exactly the same headline and article body and text link.

You don't actually need a blog with unique content to add to the system, I have a friend who added about 4 blogs with a complete mix of articles to the network.

Looking at it it is a smaller version of UAW

The idea is the blogs you add into the system need to be worthwhile. We do not want unindexed, crappy RSS fed blogs that are worthless.

As for saying that it is a smaller version of UAW... uhmmm... NO!!

Not being defensive but first of all we have video directory integration like no other service combined with our huge network that started in 2006.. just saying

Yes, they accept spun content. They recommend a third-party content spinner to automate it, but also have a spinner included that does one sentence at a time. I've been using TK and I'm at #7 now for my keyword in a few weeks. I also got a personal replay from Jason Potash with a question I had comparing his software with Jeff Johnson's Traffic Voodoo. I have high confidence in Jason Potash at this point.

    1. Each video submission gets promoted with a keyword-rich back link.
    2. Your videos will get views which will increase their internal rankings at the video directories.
    3. You will get powerful keyword-rich back links directly to the site of your choice from niche-specific blogs.
    4. Your submitted articles will include a video in them, which will help to increase the ranking power of your submitted articles

I pay $147 for linkvana per month, and while it works great for me, it's not exactly cheap. If I had the $500ish right now to invest, I think I would go with it for sure, based on what people are saying about it above...

    Hi Stefalex

I am very tempted however am waiting to see if a more detailed explanation turns up, the sales pitch does not seem to let us know the basic details.

: For example are the videos we submit youtube or our own?
: How many sites can we use this with?

I would also like to hear from someone that has gained improved rankings, also if we left the program for some reason would we lose all our links?

Making and submitting my own videos has always been my weak point, and this system obviously depends largely on that point.

                1. Are we talking professional looking vids that cover your promoted niche from all angles, or will a simple 3-min. power-point or screencast of you just talking into your computer's camera be sufficient?

                2. Does TK include some good walk-throughs on what kind of vids are best, how to make them, and what tools to use. I've got Jing, and I think I have access to Camtasia, but haven't used it.

If videos are gonna be a cornerstone of how we promote with TK, I'm gonna need to feel comfortable with making 'em before I buy this

Guys, your answers are making no sense at all. Kev, I have no idea what you are trying to say. Majestic and I had 3 questions:

    1. Can you use Kaboom for multiple sites?
    2. Will the links stay active if you decide to quit?
    3. How many links a day do you get with Kaboom and can you control the output?

    And, I'll add:
    4. Just how context sensitive are the Kaboom network sites?

      SEOLinkVine is just article.

I think the big difference though is that in the past with SEOLinkVine your odds of getting your article to distributed is pretty close to the same odds of you winning the lottery - maybe they fixed that now?

Yes, submissions "per day" can be VERY high with SEOLV. The thing some don't realize is that SEOLV continues publishing old articles, whereas other networks stop after x days. We added a feature that allows you to see how many daily publishes you've had each of the past 7 days. If you consistently add articles to seolv, seeing days of 100+ publishes per day, IN TOTAL, are very common.

          So,

To Kaboom authors and Brad, I'm not seeing what the benefits are if options like Kaboom and SEOLinkvine are blasting out to blogs if Google is penalizing this type of traffic building. What is going to stop them from penalizing your site?

If you are a member of Blog Blueprint you will get Traffic Kaboom included and more tools too.
I got this email from Jason...

If you are already a member of
    Blog Blueprint *Platinum*, do NOT
    sign up for Traffic Kaboom.

    All Platinum members will get
access to the new TK platform
    soon.

If you are currently *not* a
    member of Blog Blueprint
    Platinum you are better off
upgrading to Platinum when you login
    to the BB member's area.

    You actually get MORE cool
    traffic-building tools as a member
of BB Platinum... PLUS, you get
    access to Traffic Kaboom too.

I've been getting quite a few
    emails about this and wanted
    to clear things up.

So if you were thinking to pay $67 per month from Traffic Kaboom you would be better to pay the same for Blog Blueprint and get traffic kaboom with it.
See my sig for details on Blog Blueprint...it has some brilliant tools and great training!

Not cynical at all, that is what it is, but SYndicate Kahuna's network has proven to get results and has only gotten larger with each product it has been incorporated into...so now it's been given some beefed up new features and voila!

here's my assessment after using TK
    - the idea is having article & video posting.

Thus far, I'm less than impress with the service level.

    Pros?:
They do review the content. However I find that the way their admin feedback on the errors are not clear.

    Cons:
I encounter connection reset error very often.
Support was not as fast as I would hope.
Disappointed on the quality of the sites that the articles are being posted to - found a couple of them. Looks like sites which are put up just to get auto content instead of what is claimed.

I'm not here to smear the name of anyone. In fact I really hope that it would work and it can give the quality that it promises. But after signing up it fell below what I expected. I will see how it goes to see whether to ask for refund.

Anyway if I have more updates will post again.

Read the post/review above and was just wondering if Linkvana has a much cleaner network, or may auto gen type sites are an inherent characteristic of link farms like these in general?

SO no matter, which network/link farm you sign up to, you will always encounter auto gen sites as merely par for the course??? After the panda update, am rather curious to see whether the effectiveness of such farms, are diminished somewhat??? Will run my own tests on an aged site to see.....

Look forward to further insights in these discussions.

And please rubbish reviews like, this works etc...just do not cut the mustard anymore. No matter how many thanks/posts you have notched up in the joint.

So what is that link in your sig: 'click here to find out more' pointing to this url: hxxp://blogblueprint.com/go.php?offer=0download&pid=1 ? (seriously, is it an affiliate link or not? I dunno, it may be your product! (doubtful) It was a genuine question you seem to have taken the wrong way. Just trying to help you out but if you want to go there...)

'Still in school, telling tales, and past my bedtime'...oh pls don't verbally rape me!

That line was almost as good as your review of traffic kaboom:

              'it works'.

              Well hoo-f'in-rah!

              'It works' everybody!!!

That's kevintg1's honest, unbiased, and THOROUGH review of the service...so it must be true!

Maybe you should work on your tale telling. You might be able to come up with a more compelling review, other than 'it works', because (evidently), tales are what you'll be needing judging by some of the current (and real) reviews in this thread and elsewhere...

But good luck with that!

Traffic Kaboom is a link farm and as with many link farms the quality of the sites are pretty bad. So many posts full of over optimized SEO anchor links to sites of varying quality.

So ultimately you get low quality sites linking out to many low quality sites. Google already doesn't think highly of such sites. That's not to say they don't work, but they have limitations, and in some instances can be dangerous if mis-used.

Yes backlinks can harm you despite the misinformation spread by people who don't have a clue. Here's an example:
Preventing Link-Based Penalties - Whiteboard Friday | SEOmoz

The blog farm with spun content idea has been around since at least 2005, and while the networks have got larger the quality has typically remained poor for most of these sites. It won't be long before Google makes a serious dent in this sort of practice and may even start taking more drastic action like they did with paid links (which is of course a sign it works to some extent).

That's not to say these services don't have uses, but tread carefully, be aware they have a shelf life, and be smart about your link building.

As always real editorial citations are your best bet for good link juice and it is a tactic that will only grow stronger in the long term.

I have been using Traffic Kaboom. It actually seems like a good system. I am not sure of the quality of the links being created because, as far as I can tell, it does not give me access to the actual links. It would be better if it did, so I could do some indexing work on them.

It also has a nice plug in with it called Auto Blog Buddy. You can get targeted ( for your niche) posts, automatically posted on your blog.

I get one post daily from them on my blog, decent content. Not the total answer to my content needs, but it helps.

As far as what types of links the system creates, I'm not sure yet, since I don't receive a report of back links created.

Due to the launch of TrafficKabom and all the "hype" , I decided to actually start using Syndicate Kahuna.
before this I thought it was just a regular tool among many, and postponed this, doing other things.

I had done some promotion to this new blog [domain registered Feb24 2011] but could not get past the second page in Google for my
main keyword and because my initial promotion started to slow down daily visitors started to decline, and I lost my position on the second page.

I submitted one article, spun it and submitted to SK, and was promised delivery to some 50 sites. The article got rejected.
It turns out I had forgot to format headlines correctly. I also caught myself in other formatting errors during revision.

Well, I resubmitted, and it finally got approved. In less than one week, my new blog is finally competing on the first page of Google, with more real visitors coming in.....

And, keep note, I have not yet started to use TK with video syndication........

Someone compare metrics and analyze how many articles are you allowed to submit etc. I spent a few hours writing and spinning my first article.
it take time to get used to the spinning code, although I thought it would be much harder to do than it really was.

I guess submitting a few posts per month, if done properly with thought, should be more than enough for most sites.

One can be careful, and of course any tool or service can stop working or something can happen. So you should absolutely use this tool with care and thought and it should not be the only promotion you do. And, why stop everything you are doing and use only Traffic kaboom?

But at the other hand if the tool works, why not use it?

Someone claims to have analyzed this and that, and claim this and that. It doesn't matter. Results matter.

Of course all the blogs in the network are not PR5 sites and above. What do you expect? really?

But if the quality of the network is good enough to get results, and lasting results. that is what matters.

      It comes down to this:
"based on my knowledge about aerodynamics, this insect cannot fly. Its wings are too small compared with its body weight and size". but real life observations indicate that it indeed is capable of flying. "capable"?. Well it is actually flying all day long, everyday.

I have just started doing video. my first videos are of low quality. I will work a few more days and improve this. then I will finally start to submit videos to the TK network. I cannot wait to see the results.

I decided to invest because I am making multiple mini sites and have been evolving a way to get them ranked.

I use Unique Article Wizard ($67/mo) but wanted diversity and the system seems to be getting long in the tooth, not growing.

SinceI discovered Video Niche Dominator which is perfect for creating multiple videos in no time for links. I hooked it up with a free trial from Traffic Geyser ($99)to evaluate. Also testing Linxboss ($147/month), but it is limited to 5 sites and I have outgrown it.

It seems that Traffic Kaboom will do what all three will do for the $300/month I would be paying to maintain those 3 systems.

That's why I bought it. Unfortunately, still waiting to hear from support as I never got access...kind of tweaked me to pay for a new toy and not be able to play with it right away.

I know these guys reputation is solid so I have no fear. I will check back with results because I monitor my sites 3 ways from Sunday and have a new site with no linking I am saving just for Kaboom as a test.

I am using it and the guys are very regimented about the quality of the articles so be prepared to have a few rejected while you get used to theie requirements and their system.

You need to put in a couple of blogs into the system if you want more submissions so I have sacrificed a PR 3 blog and added it into the account which gives me more submissions. My only criticisim is they seem to be backing up the site regularly and at that time the members (or maybe just me!!) have limited access so that can be frustating however they are aware of the issue and working on it. the guys that run it (Jason and Jason) seem very genuine and willing to help. i will be measuring the quality of the backlinks and my google positions for the keywords i want to rank for with interest over the coming months.

Pretty happy at this stage cheers

The network is much larger now and powerful. We have about 100 new blogs from real blog owners being added everyday. Also we incorporated video submissions to video directories and then the system automatically submits the embed code and links in the blog posts so your video sites start to get real back links and views. Together it works very powerfully!

Well, I'm lost. Where exactly do you find this function?

I can't find it anywhere under 'Video Submit' or anywhere under 'Video' heading at all

If I target medium competitive keywords - how many articles should I submit to traffic kaboom + how many days should I wait to hit first page for Google for my youtube video and for my website?

I know this question cannot be answered accurately as there are many factors involved and Google rankings are so unpredictable, specially after the Panda update. But still I want feedback from people who used this network and how soon have they got results.

Just to get a rough idea!

      Consistency wins the race.
It's better to submit 1 article a week than to submit a ton of articles once and then never again.
The nice thing about TK (and others like it) is that by design it spreads submissions out over time for you. You can also schedule into the future when it will start dripping.

    Hi Every one,

It is really interesting to see through all the queries. I just have one ultimate question and I need a real and genuine reply. Just ask your own heart and see if you are providing me the right answer.

I came across Traffic Kaboom many times, today I just thought to go for it and give it a try and see if that works. But when I could see the price it made my mind think again twice. I wanted to try but what if that fails? as usual like other tool?

I have been signed up for three networks ArticleRanks, SubmitYourArticle, TheLinkJuicer and have been using them since about 2 months. They are all good, but not quite powerful to give results for most competitive keywords. I just saw TrafficKaboom testimonial but wanted to know if that really works and gives the results specially Post Panda update?

Can anyone give me fair frank opinion whether TrafficKaboom works and gives the ultimate results at the end?

    Looking for the fair answer.

Not right away... change in project due to a couple up and coming things. I jumped the gun and should not have posted that as a couple things came up since then.

One important thing to note however, we are going to be closing the doors in a few days and keeping them closed for a few weeks while we do some upgrading and then when we open the doors we will be raising the price of TrafficKaboom for new members.

Remember there is a 60 day full money back guarantee as well... and you do not lose anything if you quit... and submitted content will remain.

      1. 200 words Minimum and only one link allowed in any content less than 300 Words. 300+ you can have two links.

      2. Without adding a blog you can submit three times a day (no restrictions on domains except you cannot use aff links or link shorteners) and each post can get posted to a max of 120 blogs over a 60-day period, depending on the spin uniqueness but on average people get about 80 posts out of one submission.

Not sure why you can not access. The site is up and running and you may need to clear your cache and do a dns flush or something. Everything is 100% up and running on our end.

It will get links for you. The more articles you put in it the more links you will get. It drips them out.

For each article, 3 dripped per day until you hit the maximum for that article. I think the maximum is around 110 if it's spun with high uniqueness. But you can always put more articles targetting the same URL.

So if you put 3 articles in you will get 9 articles dripped per day with 2 links on them (3 if you have a video). So let's say you don't have a video and you put one link in to your main URL and one deep link. That's 2 links per article times 9 articles per day and let's say you get 80 articles submitted for each article (80 becuase that's what your uniquenss score got you). That's 480 links.

If you work Traffic Kaboom it will work for you and get you rankings and traffic. I know because I use it.

Hi Jason, I am a TK member and I know I haven't used the system fully yet but would like some guidance.

You say traffic could dramatically increase in the first month. I know it would depend on the keyword etc but could you give me some indication on what you would consider a bare minimum submission?

I.e. is it 2 articles and 1 video a week for 4 weeks or what?

As I have a full time job (at the moment) I have found the system a little clunky to use but this isn't a slur on TK as it is definitely down to user error. So if you could give me a target then it would really help.

          Cheers

I did a trial of Traffic Kaboom. I submitted around 10 or so spun articles.

    What they do:

They are a blog network. You submit articles with your links and anchor text and they publish it.

Videos are also used - you can embed one video in each article that you submit and a link to the vid url is automatically included with your chosen keywords.

Unlimited domains (but only one per article), 3 article submissions per day on the basic plan, they also have an interface where you can create accounts on video websites like youtube, dailymotion, etc. where you can upload the video to Traffic Kaboom once and they will publish it in all the video sharing websites with your spun titles, descriptions, tags, links, etc.

    Pros:

Good blogs in the network, nice themes and my categories are covered (online entertainment is my niche)

User Interface is clean and easy to understand

It did help my SERPS ( the most important thing, right?)

    Cons:

They do practice quality control on the articles and something like "you need to put one line space between the video and your paragraph" will mean your article is rejected until you fix it. *ahem* Could they not have just used the enter key and put in the space? Seems like a big waste of time to write that instruction out, wait for me to fix it, them to review it again....YMMV. It would have been better for the article to be approved with that message, rather than wait 3 more days for approval.

Seems a waste to me as I could never make and submit enough videos. Also, you need to factor in the time and cost of writing 3 articles per day. Not really the "fault" of the service but rather something to think about depending on your resources. For example, if you already have lots of vids and articles, then it's easy.

For myself, I canceled the subscription and will re-subscribe when I have 30 or so vids.

Conclusion: it helped me with the SERPs and that's the bottom line. Just be prepared to feed it quality articles and vids, just like any other blog network.

I have no connection to TK, but in regards to them editing the content for you...I think that would be a costly mistake on their part.

Sure it takes 3 seconds to do that for YOUR article...but then multiply that by 1000s of users.

Not such a minor issue anymore.

It makes much more sense for them to send it back to YOU, and then in the future YOU know that you need to watch for such issues.

Now when you submit your 90 articles a months (3x30) it's not costing them 5 minutes of time to do the minor edits for your article that you could have been doing yourself.

Just a thought as to why they have it setup that way...if I was running the network I'd have my staff doing the same thing.

      Cheers,

      ~Dexx

Like I said they could have approved the article since it was simply one line space which would take a lot less than 3 seconds to fix but 3 days to get it approved. If they approved it and included the message - then I would know it and act accordingly in the future while not wasting 3 days of time.

I've edited other people's stuff for a living and you don't reject an article for one line space if it is good. You just fix the one line space yourself and drop off a message - "hey nice work on the article but in the future don't indent the paragraphs, put one space in between them" is the standard practice because it makes more sense and reduces the time it takes to publish material.

Note that nowhere in their UI does it say you have to format the video that way, AFAIK. You only find that out when your articles get rejected which is a big waste of time. I don't know about you but I don't have enough time to waste submitting and then re-submitting articles.

Hey Lyanna, sorry that you got so frustrated but our network has been online since 2006, and our priority is to give the bloggers as good as quality and formatted content as possible within balance of return on investment (ROI). This is how we can retain so many decent blogs in our network.

A big part of the ROI is we do not correct errors as this used to cause us nightmares because people would simply keep doing them.

This is not something we decided to just do because we are lazy. It is because we have tried the other way and a huge amount of the times, people didn't care. They saw it was approved and did not bother to read the message. We even tried in big red letter and giving three strikes your out, but nothing worked until we just rejected straight away.

Again, sorry to frustrate you but its this way 100% on purpose and as always, I really do appreciate the feedback.

            Whoa, really?

Well then that is a reasonable idea I can understand. I'm more used to dealing with other professional writers, designers, etc., especially offline where such behavior would never be tolerated. I guess it's different online... lol.

No problem, like I said your service is pretty good but it's meant to be used in a certain way - for example, the users will need to submit good articles. Auto-spun crap articles won't do at all, right? I mention this because in other blog networks they just accept anything.

Like I said, this isn't a negative but rather something potential TK users have to keep in mind. I'd probably have to hire someone to write the articles and make the videos for me since I don't have the time for all that.

Bottom line: IMO TK users need have enough content to submit, otherwise your time and monthly subscription fee will be wasted waiting and waiting for your writers to finish their articles.

The only problem I see with Traffic Kaboom is you are allowed to submit 3 articles a day....

Now if you go back in and edit one of your articles one day then that uses up one of your credits so you will only have 2 left. You definately get the feeling of being cheated when this happens. The only thing you can do is completely delete the article and re-submit it which, is frustrating

Another issue I've seen recentely is the best spinner which, they have intergrated doesn't spin to the quality they require so they reject the articles, you can't use USA's and you need high quality orignal and well sun readable articles.

With video on Sales pages you need to have patient, after 10+ minutes it shows $ 197 per 3 months , then if you leave the page you get an offer for $ 77 per month. HORRIBLE this way to sell a product.
