Profit Jackpot from Anik Singal, anyone?

Got the emails today through the Callen list.

Anik Signal wants just $47 for Profit Jackpot, a collection of automation plug-ins for putting up 10 sites of self-traffic-generating internet "real state" in 10 minutes, 25 sites in 25 minutes, etc., promising that with enough pieces of real estate, regardless of the niche or domain, you'll make decent money over time.

Anyone know what this is, how it pulls traffic, and what kind of automated "useful content" (Anik's words) it is pulling?

I also got an email on this from Traffic Travis. I am interested to hear from some people that may have picked it up. I don't see how a site like this would pull in traffic with all the changes that Google has made to weed these types of sites out...

I just got in earlier today!

Pretty neat- it says some video's are coming soon as every time i go, more show up!

There are about 12 hours of like a A to Z on affiliate training- some is basic some is more advanced, just extra training?

The main software is easy to install, just started setting up my first campaigns. It does require you to have your hosting and domain names of course. I think I need a good keyword generator- can anyone recommend one to me?

Anyways- overall, i'm very happy with it- the proof Anik shows on his sales video has been amazing- i know i won't be THAT fast but if he can do it in 10- i can do it in 20 mins? LOL.. i'll report back!

Oh btw the front end product was a limited to 25 sites, then the first upsell was the unlimited version + 2 other softwares. I'm glad i picked that up- as these two are very nice compliment.

I didn't pick up the niche theme software but I watched the walkthrough and i might go back and get that as it looks really awesome.

I did not get Brad Seo Link Vine as I am already a members !

Edit- also there a bunch of Free plugins he recommends and teaches you how to setup each as well to compliment the software. When i downloaded it- i was really suprised as he's put together about 6 other plugin softwares for traffic, privacy policy, word press pop up for optin stuff, and a few other SEO things

I'm very happy so far with it.

Yeah, I am in the process of testing out the software so that I can decide whether or not to recommend it to my list. I was hoping too get an early look at it before it was released but I wasn't able to.

Initially that's what i thought about the content.. but then I started using long tail keywords.. MUCH Better.. you should grab a keyword generator man.

I Just picked up brad callen's Keyword Generator and it works perfect with this!

Jim, where are you pulling your long-tali keywords from...by feeding the broad niche into a keyword generator, then sorting out long-tails. And which one is Brad Callen's generator, what's it called?

My own experience has been that long-tail KWs up to 3-4 words, like "Gibson Jumbo Acoustic Guitar," can still find decent auto-scraped articles, but any longer & more specific, like "Gibson J500 Jumbo Acoustic Guitar Rosewood 6-string" won't pull any articles.

I understand how Profit jackpot quickly sets up basic niche blogs with auto-scraped articles and videos, but what's unclear is, what sets Profit Jackpot apart from any other autoblogging program offered here in the last 2 years (like WPMage, WPRobot, etc.)

They're all based on plugins that auto-pull articles, videos, and in the case of WPMage or phpBay/phpZon, auto pull eBay, Amazon, Clickbank and Linkshare offers...so that in minutes (after feeding it a list of niche Keywords) you have a blog with hundreds of fully-populated posts with scraped content, youtubes and a bunch of affiliate auctions/offers.

But you still need traffic. Some of these, like WPMage, does a good job of pulling traffic just from the long-tail eBay auction titles, but even then it's hit-or-miss, about 1 blog out of 20 gets ranked well enough to pull $30-$50/mo. Others, you have to work hard with SEO & backlinks to get some rank, just like any other affiliate site.

So what's Profit Jackpot's angle that makes the traffic pull so much more automated and assured?

This one is WAY behind the game. Note Jeremy's post above - and the install process - at least how it's described in the video is horrible - there were better install systems as far back as 4 years ago for installing hundreds of blogs with all the appropriate plugins and themes in place.

hey guys- i'm a BIG fan of Anik and always follow what he does. When he told me about this software, I knew I had to have it! So far, I'm really impressed, lots of extras inside the members area and after watching his demo, I know I can do the same - I plan on giving this to my team (outsourcers) to do on their downtime for me when I don't have any projects to do.

I got this email too I'm on a few lists (although i tend to filter them as i dont wanna clog up my inbox with crap), so I went over. TBH I loved the video, If you haven't seen it then you need to at least see it as itt's really fun to watch lol

Anyway, I decided to invest in the course, made sense to me. So I grabbed a copy of the profit jackpot, then i was offered ultra jackpot- which ends up being the unlimited license and 2 other software pieces. I passed on the next upsell as I already have the tools for theme development for wordpress

So far, Its been about an hour, i'm REALLY impressed. It's really simple to use and i understand how you can just set and forget and move to the next site and i am confident if i build 25 sites up, i'll be able to at least make my money back for the products, the domain name and the hosting... and hopefully start turning profits in 30 days.

As with anything though you gotto work at it to see results and so far im pleased with what i got. Saying that at that price you really cant go wrong, surprised he sold it so cheap TBH as its worth way more than that ..esp considering the overpriced crap in the market place

    Peace

So is the key to getting traffic from Google the spin jackpot plugin? Does anyone know if the content is readable and natural looking after spinning? Because I would think that Google would drop these sites like crazy for duplicate content if you didn't use the spinner.

I was just watching this video. Actually it's done with code not actual spinning of article. It's kind of neat- it changes the code so google things it's unique? I don't understand it as i'm not technical... LOL

hmmm... guess I better re-watch the video... I missed that part... must have gotten distracted by a fellow employee... I dare them... LOL...

I have seen this technique before on a WSO here. Where the content is somehow displayed differently to the Search engine but it looks like the original article to the end-user. It seemed to be working for people but I am just thinking that it probably wont be long before G catches on to that.

I guess only one way to find out for sure and that is to give it a try. I think I am going to wait little though before jumping on board.

How in the world is this thing supposed to get traffic?

I can believe that the plugins will quickly build a site that scrapes blog posts (and perhaps videos but it sounds like that might be an upsell) but that alone will not get traffic. The articles it scrapes have probably already been spun 100 times. I have a hard time seeing how Google is going to like these sites very much.

In his video Anik claimed to receive a lot of unique visitors after 24 hours. Where did they come from? Search engines? Hard to believe.

My thoughts exactly... those numbers that he shows in the cpanel are not reliable as for actual traffic. They include anything that has an ip address that hits the server... including search engine spiders.

Keep quiet you silly bringer of sobriety!

Automation at the expense of results.. that was my first thought.

What does the video really prove except that Anik would make a great virtual assistant? I'd hire him on the spot, but I'd have to teach him a thing or two about building sites that get results. Don't think he'd want to listen though.

It's certain that you can build an army of these sites and make money. Don't forget that there are domain and hosting costs too.

But If you think you are going to make the amounts of money he shows with 25 of these sites, you'll be disappointed.

He mentions several different affiliate networks, but shows only clickbank screenshots. Hmmm where have we seen that before. With that many sites and his talks about diversification..Could it be that those screenshots are not in any way related to the sites built with this software. Draw your own conclusion, I've drawn mine.

And the "Google will fall in love with you" statement -- sure, I guess that's what he has to say - but the reality of the matter is that this type of site definitely not the best way to make Google love you. Hand-built sites with real content is a much more predictable way to build sites that become, and stay, trusted by Google. But God forbid we should create something real that will likely stand the test of time.

And he says that the tipping point seems to be at 25 sites. That sure is a cool catchphrase to work in there, except there is no such thing as a tipping point in regards to the amount of sites you build. A tipping point is when small things generate exponential results. Building 25 sites has nothing to do with that.

Why is it it that people are so inclined to create sites that are harder to market instead of putting in a little more effort and create sites that are easier to market (yes, SEO too). That's where we can talk about a real tipping point.

By all means, buy this if you absolutely must - just remember to apply critical thinking and adopt a realistic view of the amount of money you're going to make as opposed to blindly listening to the sales pitch.

But seriously, Do we really need this crap hogging up space on the net.
How about building something of value that adds to the WWW instead of buying some software that you push a few buttons and hope to make a couple of thousand a month.
How about getting off your backside and doing some work to create something of value or provides a good service, now that's a novel idea.

And why do people have to keep tricking Google? or smashing Google or Jumping over Google??
Do people really think that Google are that stupid?
They employ PHD's and people who are very smart... much smarter than people who need to use this software to make a few bucks.
Do you think Google can not see that you are using this theme or that theme, ot this plugin and that plugin?

Again, go create something of value that you are passionate about and add some value to the world.

Nothing against you mate, but wether or not this makes anyone money is irrelevant.
I am sure people will make some money, but my question is..
                        1. For how long? until googles next targeting updates and algo changes?.
                        2. Until they target the sites with the plugins that are used?
                        3. How are you adding value to the internet and people?
                        4. Sooner or later, people will know your sites are just rehashed content and go elsewhere.

It may make money at first, but ask yourself, is it ethical and does it provide unique value to people?

The reason why Google now shows big authority sites and brands as apposed to smaller affiliates sites, is because of the very thing you are doing now.
Not providing any real unique content that offers people value.
And the result of that is everyone else suffers because a few people want a push button solution to make money as fast as they can without thinking about anyone else or the negative results it may produce in the long run.
                        Just my opinion.

I purchased Profit Jackpot about a week ago and have started a few sites with it. Being in a hurry to get a lot of content on my sites, I feel that this is one of the only advantages of using this system. I'm not entirely married to the system yet as I have mixed feelings about it at this point and have yet to make a dime with any of my sites. Plus, being pretty new to creating websites as an affiliate, I had not thought of the Ethical side of the equation... Just want to make a few hundred per month after all these years of trying!

Anik stated in his live training webinar on Thursday the 7th of April, "do not monetize your websites before they have been up for at least 30days". Which is a good advantage for him since the system comes with a 60 day return policy and most people won't return it before having proof that it doesn't help monetize.
That being said, I have a few thoughts on this system nonetheless:

                          1) I like the fact that my sites can potentially be populated with content every few hours with this set of plugins; more tags and comments (spun or not) mean more relevant content in the eyes of the search engines, therefore better rankings;
                          2) Knowing that the content being placed on my website is a re-hashed version of someone else's article or blog, so it's not necessarily content I want my visitors to see on the top of my site, I plan to use a Sticky Post Plugin to keep my valuable information posts (along with my cloaked aff links) visible on the top of the site- Google sniper style;
                          3) I was actually wondering how legal the use of a plugin such as 'video jackpot' was. If it is illegal, Anik's got one heck of a problem on his hands.

So far, I'm not enthusiastic about Anik Singal's promotions. The 10 sites in 10 minutes video was just plain unrealistic and utter nonsensical as we all know, but it seems to impress some people.

His training videos within Profit Jackpot (the originals made by Jimmy Kim) were totally useless- you couldn't follow along at all. The updated walk-through (made by an Indian guy named Anchor?) is a little better, but lacks two main things: A) personality B) reasoning behind the logical steps (the why and what to avoid).
There is actually another live training webinar being broadcast tomorrow night, Wed.April 13 (let's hope he doesn't postpone like he did the first time) and I hope there will be more revealed.

                          Comments anyone?

I am a little confused, in the first video Anik says Great Myth is unique content. Then after you buy, for an upgrade, he pushes the unique content as basically the number one seo rule.....which one is it? Whatever sells?

I have used Content Hurricane which changes the code and this is probably the same technology. It's pretty cool as in a few seconds you get an article that reads the same but you will notice that some of the letters look a little off. This is what causes the spiders to see the content as different.

My concern is that you will pump out a bunch of sites using this technology and when the big G catches on (you can bet they are already working on this one) all of your sites will be wiped off the face of the earth.

Maybe by that time you will have made your money, maybe not.

Yeah, I have a plugin that I use called Duplicate Bye Bye that pretty much changes the content so it reads different to Google.

I have several sites in Making Money, WoW, Weddings, Cheating Spouses niches that I admit I get a bit lazy at times and use the same content from site to site so that is why I use it.

I purchased the Product and I just sent it all back because it's a piece of junk!!!!

First he doesn't tell you that the comments are coming from Spammers with auto posting software.

Also he doesn't tell you that you can't host at Godaddy or HostGator because the websites they get the Content from is blocking their IP addresses.

I think its the other way around. Godaddy and Hostgator is blocking the IP addresses they are getting the content from.

Think about that...if Anik's software is suppose to bring in content from all over the web...why would Godaddy and Hostgator be blocking the content from particular websites.

I will continue to post a couple of articles myself each week because I'm getting real traffic not spam traffic.

      Good looking out! Thanks.

At least it's significantly cheaper than WPmage. I'm wondering about the traffic myself though. I agree bot and also initial wordpress installation traffic come in the first few hours up putting up a WP.

I'll hammer tons of sites out in the next 48 hours and see how it functions. I'll probably create a new host and all that as to not want issues with getting slapped.

Oh wow....so it looks like WP Robot and even WP Mage all over again but with an extremely lower price (but, so what on the price?). When the Robot came out people actually cleaned up with it, and from what I hear, there are still those who know how to manipulate/control it so that it's helpful, but not the do-all-end-all on their blogs, as Anik is purporting.

I bought both the Mage and the Robot. The Mage came out and I bought it. I had never seen anything like it! But, coincidentally the next day, I found that people were 'slickly' advertising that you didn't need Mage because of this great alternative - WP Robot, which had a 14 day money back policy. Way less expensive than the Mage, by the way.

I figured that I would test both.....different blogs - different results. Both of them 60% of the time pulled in the most ridiculous content. Long story short, life happened and I missed the 14 day deal so I still own the Robot and don't use it.

But, I have to say just as others have in this forum, that if you were a Mage member there were many, many customers in the Mage forum trying like crazy to figure out how to pull better content, and more importantly, how to make any money on their blogs. Everyone who purchased Mage was under the Strong assumption that they would be using Ebay for monetizaton, along with Clickbank, Adsense, etc. but once 'inside' found that Ebay was a totally different and difficult story. (Does Anik have a forum?)

At least if you look at the WP-Robot site - well, it is what it is, and shows you what it does without any flim-flam, but you're still back to square one.

The key to these types of software is to integrate their posts into your own unique posts. Also, with going back and deleting the garbage. You cannot do that in a mass production. Well, maybe with outsourcing?

We all know about all the $47 down to 27, etc. () click garbage that many of us have fallen for. It is a numbers game. Find the people that have recently gotten on the Internet (to make money) and have recently gotten on someone's list, and hit them (to make money) because they don't know any better AND don't know about great forums like this one.

Just like I said above, "I had never seen anything like it!" People that don't know any better and are Thrilled because they think for a moment (while hitting the submit with their credit card) 'at least I'll be able to pay my bills', or, 'look at all the work I won't have to do while I'm trying to go to work and manage this house', or 'look at all these cool sites I built, honey', or whatever....are going to get taken.....taken bad.
Later they're working their you-know-whats-off and trying' to get this THING they just bought to work. Then they realize they got ripped off - especially if there is no Real support.

Point is: Anik boasted about his price. Maybe I haven't read thoroughly what has been written in this thread. Maybe Anik has some tricks within his member area, but I still believe that you are not any better off buying something that sorta worked a couple years ago, and the search engines hate now.

So has anyone here actually tried this and is making money? One of the things that got me puzzled is that he says that you can use Google Adsense to make the money, but earlier in the video he mentions the Google Slap....I'm sure Google will be able to recognise an auto-generated site (ie crap content) and then ban you from Adsense, so why go through the hassle

Would be keen to see if/hear from anyone else here has made money with this system...

Ok, a bit of an update. I went to some of the sites and basically saw absolute crap content (surprise, surprise!), As an example, I went to the improvesatscoresnow(dot)com and viewed one of the categories and saw nothing but posts related to...wait for it.....Abba !?!??!

    WTF???

But one thing that seems to puzzle me is that none of the sites seem to be monetized in anyway. What's the point of having a lot of traffic if there's nothing to sell on the site? Is it me, or does anyone else thing that he had adsense on the sites originally but got banned once Google caught up with him and saw what crap there was on the site (and the rate at which posts were put up)?

I think I might pass on this one....anyone else to second this motion ?

    regards,

( Ice Lollies with a vaguely yellow shade of husky pee!).

The trade mark "Profit" term relates to his gains, not those of his customers - eg "Profit Spy" a month or so ago.......... empty promises in my view (yes, I refunded that very quickly) and just repeated here behind the facade of a pretty entertaining and highly persuasive (but totally self centred) video.

I've unsubbed from all of his lists as I no longer believe in him - shame, great talents wasted in my view.

Yes they are available but I am going to return mine. I was actually considering the upsells but didn't buy them and I won't now. What is the point of this if it is going to create crap content? But that might be just the upsell that spins the scraped content. The basic product ($47) only scrapes other content out there so maybe it reads better than the upsell software.

This is yet another case of style over substance. The sales pitch rattles along at 100m.p.h, Anik has a style that is hyper and flits and flicks and puts the viewer in rush mode, constantly resetting the attention span. He's clever and effective at it.

He uses this technique to disguise the fact his software really isn't very impressive at all, even at $47. It's just a scrape and spam tool like all the rest of these automated solutions. I guess this goes one step further by lifting comments (from YouTube?) which will only serve to make the search engines wary of all blog commentary, if enough of this garbage floods the net.

All the scammers and spammers and get rich instantly mob are living in the last air pocket before the search engines finally figure out a way to cut off the supply. It'll come, the existence of the search engines themselves relies upon finding a permanent solution to all this auto-content crap. So bank on it happening, maybe not today maybe not even next year. But soon.

In the meantime, for those who are getting on building quality resources despite being overwhelmed by the lazy mob, persevere because one sunny morning you're going to wake up and see a clear horizon with all the junk wiped away. That'll be your pay-off. Keep the faith and keep adding quality to the Internet and don't be diverted by the appalling garbage of the sort being offered here by Anik.

Ok, so this is what it does, based on the 10 sites he set up (keywords written exactly as he wrote them in his notepad file) - most of the sites are only on the subdomain sites:

    Dog Training

Keywords: dog training, puppy training, dog obedience training, dog behavior training, dog behaviour training

    Weight Loss

Keywords: weight loss, weight loss help, weight loss tips, weight loss advice, natural weight loss, healthy weight loss, easy weight loss, fast weight loss, quick weight loss, reduce fat, get rid of fat, reduce body fat, reduce belly fat, remove belly fat, dieting, weight control, good diet

    Personal Development

Keywords: personal development, personal growth, become successful, achieve goals, self improvement, productivity tips, get motivated, find motivation, find happiness, build confidence

    http://buyandsellhomesnow.baddoggooddogtraining.com

Keywords: Buy New Home, Sell New Home, Real Estate News, Real Estate Market, Foreclosure, Short Sales, Market Conditions, Housing Market, Loan Modification, Homes for Sale, Apartments for sale, Homes for rent, apartments for rent

    http://forexprofitsuccess.baddoggooddogtraining.com

Keywords: forex training, trader training, learning to trade, trader education, online currency trading, currency trading, forex traders, FX Traders, foreign exchange, online trading companies, currency dealing

    http://improvesatscoresnow.baddoggooddogtraining.com

Keywords: sat prep, online sat prep, improve sat score, online psat prep, psat prep, sat practice tests, sat preparation books, sat preparation test, sat math preparation, sat preparation classes, sat preparation online, sat vocabulary, sat preparation courses, sat preparation software

    Learn Spanish

Keywords: speak spanish, speaking spanish, learn spanish, spanish online, spanish on-line, spanish cds, spanish course, spanish schools

    Golfing

Keywords: golf lessons, free gold lessons, golf tips, how to play golf, golf for beginners, how to learn golf, beginner golfer, learn golf, learning golf, playing golf, golf tips, golf guide

Keywords: Italian food recipes, Italian cooking, Italian food, italian kitchenware, Italian wine, italian cooking classes, cucina Italiana, pasta recipes, tuscan cooking, italian cooking tips, italian culinary classes, italian pasta recipes, italian lasagna recipes, italian dessert recipes

    Search Engine Optimization

Keywords: search engine optimization, Search Engine Placement, Web Site Placement, SEO Services, SEO Company, SEO Training, SEO Tools, SEO Tutorial, seo Course, Search Engine Ranking, Search Engine Submission

How it works: Basically it pulls from blogs with comments posted on that blog post and the same with YouTube, if you click on the YouTube video in any of the posts you can see the comments are copied from the comments.

If you review the sites (most of them are sub-domained) ... you can see that the keyword tool isn't really working, if you look closely its pulling up unrelated topics on some of the 10 sites. Hopefully this is a bug that Anik will iron out.

However, I think its a reasonably good piece of software if you want to set up auto-blogs.

Sorry to disagree with most people here...I bought this thinking that everything he showed in the sales video was included...it wasnt....only one portion is included and it is limited to 25 sites?

    Talk about deceptive advertising.

To get the package as first talked about will run you over $300 dollars or over $200 dollars (this depends on you declining his first go round, ex: the first upgrade is $297, click away and you can have it for $100 off) and this is without getting the other upsells (templates, and whatever else I got tired of all the upselling and just left).

And he will probably walk away with a cool profit from this...

I bought into one of his hokey easy money programs in the past because the sales pitch was full of deception. Lesson LURNed. I unsubscribed from his list and never bought his stuff again. Someone sent me a link for Profit Jackpot today and after seeing the sites produced with it, I'M NOT IMPRESSED.

How does it create unique content? It randomly converts characters (A to Z) into their individual ASCII code to trick the search engines into thinking the content is unique. For example, on the screen, we see...

      Myths of Search Engine Optimization

but the randomly generated ASCII code might look like this...

      Myths & #111 ; & #102 ; Search Engine Optimization

You're right. There have been other plugins that have been doing this for a while now. I didn't use any of those plugins and I won't be using Profit Jackcrap because I fear the repercussions of the big G.

I doubt you will make much from these sites. This has all been done before...it is so 2008. He is scraping content and obfuscating code with a content blender type of plugin. Just the kind of sites Google falls in love with.... I think the way to do these sites is to put some unique, quality on target content on them and build up some trust and authority and then drip in some auto-content.

I purchased the Mike Harvey's Instant Cash Empire and it was the worst piece of software i have EVER purchased. needless to say i quickly got my money back. I agree with the many comments that the only way to make a good Google lovable site is to create it yourself with your own unique content. Every time i get these emails with claims of fortune all i do is go right to the WF for the REAL review... and since the consensus is do not buy this that is my decision UNLESS someone can come and claim that they have made some money with PROOF. Im tired of pouring my hard earned money down the drain with these gurus fancy words and crafty sales pages.

Hopefully got that I was joking about buying Instant Cash Empire - but the serious point is that the backlash against those kinds of promotions is coming - although I would suppose it won't affect much of the big list owners much since they can just keep churning through new people who don't know and won't check out feedback about them.

Just saw this thread - I put the following in a different thread, but would be more appropriate here:

One thing you should know about Profit Jackpot is that the comments being pulled are simply being pulled from YouTube videos - and the way Anik's promotional video shows them being pulled indicates that his system is violating the YouTube API's terms of service in at least two areas:

Terms of Service - YouTube APIs and Tools - Google Code

      1) He's disabling links back to YouTube in the comments.

      Under II. Prohibitions
"Your API Client will not, and You will not encourage or create functionality for Your users or other third parties to:

#6. "modify, replace or otherwise disable the functioning of links to YouTube or third-party websites provided in the YouTube search results or otherwise provided through the YouTube API or YouTube player;"

      2) Showing ads where the only content of value is the YouTube video.

His example sites have several instances of pages in which there are only the YouTube and some of the YouTube comments.

      However, under "Monetizing Your Application"
Using the YouTube APIs to Build Monetizable Applications - YouTube APIs and Tools - Google Code

      The YouTube terms state:
"Note: If the only reason people go to a page is to watch a video, you should not run ads on that page. If you don't know whether you can display ads on a page, consider whether you would still be able to sell the ad inventory if you removed the video and all references to the video from the page. If so, then you can probably display ads on the page."

In the case of Profit Jackpot the only thing that would be left on many of the pages are the comments that are feedback about the video - i.e. the entire reference point for the conversation would be removed.

Which makes me wonder what he meant when he said in the video when he assured the viewers that it was all being done "very legitimately".

I think the direct translation would be: "in a rather misleading way so I'll sell more units"

Sorry for not contributing with more facts, but I think it has been made clear that if you want to get into auto-blogging (which I personally don't recommend, just my opinion) there are alternatives from people with better credentials than Anik.

To say that I'm disappointed with Profit Jackpot is an understatement. First of all I bought the upsale ($297) so I got Article Jackpot, Video Jackpot, Spin Jackpot (similar to WP Unique which I already own) and a bunch of plugins (All in One SEO Pack, Easy Adsenser, Easy Privacy Policy, Google XML Site Map, SEO Automatic Links and WP Super Popup). Most of these are free and available through the Wordpress plugin folder already. I do like the SEO Automatic Links - you add in your keyword or keyword phrase followed by a link and it anchor texts it anyone on the site.

As to the rest, I'm very upset! I got an email on Friday from Anik stating the following: We will tell you our software DOES NOT work with Hostgator or GoDaddy (because they are NOT compatible). Why tell me this one day after I purchased the software? No where on his sales page does he tell you this little bit of information.

Considering that a vast majority of us use Hostgator I think this would have been important information to tell us! I've sent a support ticket asking if they are going to upgrade the software so that it will work with Hostgator and if not I will be requesting a refund through Clickbank.

I liked Profit Jackpot however I am very disappointed with the whole it is not compatible with Hostgator thing which is what is used by the vast majority of Internet Marketers, it is starting to become a trend with IM software creators that they create a software that is only compatible with what I assume is their own hosting company.

Because it would make no sense otherwise to create a software that is not compatible with the most popular host used amongst internet marketers. I am sure they figure since most IM have Hostgator they won't be getting affiliate commissions so if they create a software that is only compatible with some other host they will make even more money. However, I wonder if they take into account the amount of people who are going to get a refund.

Otherwise the product works very well.

      Congrats, on the sale!!!

I recommended this product to my list despite the fact of the Hostgator issue, however I considered not recommending it because of that, however the fact of the matter is it does do what it says and that is good for a lot of internet marketers because most people don't like to do the blog post, etc. and this software takes care of that.

So I figured the upside on them being able to create several blogs with very minimal work would help them with the content side and they could focus on getting the site ranked, building a list, etc.

So far I have had a good response but as I said it does annoy me that he didn't make it compatible with Hostgator.

I also didn't know that Profit Jackpot was "incompatible" with Host Gator or Blue Host - and of course - all of my domains are with Host Gator. I started a new domain on HG, used Prof Jackpot, and it worked just fine! Contacted support at PJ, they said, if HG worked for you, then use it! But "others" had problems with it in the past. I only threw one dating site up just to learn the software, so no sales yet, but I haven't touched it in a week! Will post later (whether I make money or not)

What a load of Baloney! After wasting almost an hour of time on the training webinar, (with hardly any real instrution, I might add) Anik springs another upsell on his loyal students- Apparently there were 700 of us on the call.
For the first 30 students who apply (after a strict screening of course) there is the offer to get 25 custom sites built for you. All for the modest price of- wait for it- no, not the regular $997, but only $797 to get a bunch of sites done for you. Comes with a full 7 day money-back guaratee.
I like to think that Im a pretty good judge of character and to be very honest, I think this guy is a phoney baloney! It comes off pretty clear the way he speaks and answers questions.
As for the product itself, I was impressed with it and it actually does work the way it's supposed to. But it's not worth the price dished out.
I've just discovered WP Simplicity, which comes with 140 plugins and does a much better job of populating your site with content and a much better means of control.
I think I'll load that tool up instead and get the refund for Profit-J right now.

I found it interesting to note that all of the sites he "created" in 10 minutes are now down.

The scam here is that he didn't really do anything in that 10 minutes. The domains were already purchased, hosting was in place, Wordpress was already installed for each domain, and the plugins were even already installed for each site! "Look at me, I can click 'Activate' for 10 sites in 10 minutes" And to top it off, he didn't even make his own 10 minute deadline!

The fact that he sells this stuff is just another proof that many people will always buy the "easy" way and avoid the work to do it the "right" way.

They've all been down for several days, at least for me. That's good for two reasons: less junk polluting the internet, and you didn't miss out on anything worth seeing. The content it was pulling in was probably 5-10% relevant to the niche that the blogs were supposed to be targeting. Other people on here will concur.

I've always wondered if the "algorithm writers" for Google peruse the WF in search of the latest dodgy tactics people are employing to "make" websites filled with "unique" content.

Did anyone pay attention to this guy's video ?
When he is applying the software, he is pulling in content (video, articles etc), but did anyone really look at their screen to see what was being pulled in?

In a couple of the early frames, I thought i saw porn or at least rated r material being brought into his site, or at least a big breasted chick with her chest exposed, which he quickly moved away from. In addition, he had "content" that was completely unrelated to any of the sites that he was attempting to bring up.

All in all, the video presentation was a big juggling act with a lot of illusion thrown in.

I dont have the software, havent purchased it and do not intend to.

Good luck to those that have.

Ok, I gotta stick up for Anik here...

Anik is not a phoney... far far from it.

I got a lot to owe to Anik for showing me how to do PPC at the PPCClassroom.com program...

He's probably one of the nicest guys out there and no, im not kissing his ass. Im a sharp shooter, i'll say whats on my mind.

However, I will say this... What Anik is doing; giving you a turnkey solution for sites in a box already made for you... wont really work.

first, all content needs to be 100% unique, it cant be scraped off another site.

secondly, if it is scrapped off a site or a selection of sites out there, it needs to be rewritten and most of all, it needs to be legible... and that's hard to do. especially something that is automated.

    $797 for 25 sites = $31.88 each.. thats a bloody bargain!
But is the content good. is it unique, and most importantly is the article built in such a way that it contains all the onpage elements to it for keyword phrases in the article.

And is the content using advanced onpage SEO...

Sorry, but Anik is not a SEO Professional... I can run rings around that guy when it comes to SEO..

Though, his expertise is finding GOOD niches, finding GOOD keywords - buy phrases which a LOT of ppl tend to have difficulty in finding. And PPC...

So 797$ for 25 sites, sounds fair, but would be a no-brainer if the keywords he is using are all buy phrases and easily optimizable for the search engines. and if all the content is 100% unique with correct onpage seo being done.

if its not, then no, its not work $797

I would rather spend my money on a product that helps me increase traffic to the one site I do have and put a lot of hard work into to make sure I have unique, quality content.

Sheesh, even as a newbie, I am sorely disappointed. I want to promote a good product but can't find something that fits within my parameters?!?

Thanks for the video Askolv, very funny.

And l agree it is much better to create a quality site, but it all comes down to what are your circumstances and how fast do you need the money.

I have been at this for more than 3 years and l am just starting to make it work.

Even my, (dead horse) website on toys and games is showing some great results after 2 years of working full time on it, one year of working on it occasionally and recently overhauling it to fit in with 100K Blueprints recommendations.

If anyone out there wants quick money, that is sustainable and scalable buy Charles Kirklands WSO product, he gives out some very good advise.

      Shane.

And l have done PPC Classroom with Anik, overall l was impressed with the training, but paying the $97 per month and lack of profitable results made me pull the plug.

Only now after the $97 pressure was removed and l have learned a few more tricks, l am starting to see positive results.

It seems that Anik's high standards are starting to drop.

      Pity.

Anik is a very successful internet marketer and whatever he does is generally very good. But, I would be worried about creating auto blogs (so to speak) right now, considering that Google will likely be weeding those out in the coming months and years. But, who knows, I could turn out to be wrong. I think it is better to hire out creating unique articles for your site and be very keyword specific for your site. Andrew McLeod has a warrior offer that teaches you how to build unique mini sites this way with original content. That should keep you safe in the long run.

It is said that you can count on two things in life - death and taxes, but I think I have found two more:

      1) Marketers will always over-hype their products.
      2) Warriors will always trash those products.

With that being said, I purchase very few of them and with most of those I hit the refund button fairly quickly. I did purchase profit jackpot and the jury is still out for me.

The possibility of getting banned by Google is always there but as someone pointed out it hasn't happened yet to similar sites using similar plugins. Anik himself admitted to the possibility in one of his videos. He gave it a 2% chance. Whatever! The video/comment issues are a concern and I am addressing that with Anik's team.

I knew going in that the promo video showing 10 sites in 10 minutes was B.S. The reality is that once you are familiar with the system it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to set things up correctly. What takes by far the most time is getting your niches and keyword phrases correct. You have to really make sure that plenty of content is available. I checked out one niche that had hundreds of videos but almost no written content to be found anywhere. If that is the case you will end up with unrelated content on the site.

I have stayed as far away as possible from the "recommended hosting" and the "recommended niches" because that is where the herd is. I have also taken a much slower approach than the recommended speed at which the plugins post. I cut that back by about 2/3s and set the cron jobs to post during daylight hours only. Nobody sits up all night posting to their blogs. Also, paying $800 to have these sites built for you is really a waste of money. It ain't that hard to do yourself but that is how the sales funnel works as we all know.

I have 15 blogs running and out of several hundred posts I have only detected 2 posts unrelated to the intended keyword phrase which is great. I am just now getting started with the off page SEO backlinking phase so we will see how it goes.

My finger is still near the refund button but I hope that I don't need to go there.

      • This is just another autoblog push button program like WP robot. Anik Singal acts like he reinvented making money only when this method doesn't work anymore.

After the google update websites with duped content don't do so well if you are using adsense heck you will probably be banned from it.

And then there are the upsells...

        No thanks

I tested Profit Jackpot out before I promoted it and all I can say is that it delivers good content, traffic, and has made me sales and to be completely honest the pages I tested it on I have never even tried to get ranked.

So it does work! So I honestly think that for your average affiliate who is short on time and doesn't want to write unique content will most likely be happy with this.

              Hi everyone,

I thought I would share this with you. I bought this software plus up sells when it came out. I installed it on more than 20 unique domains after having viewed all the videos and attended all the webinars. Some of these sites I had for a while, the majority were bought for the purpose of completing "project 25" initially I got very little traffic but on my old sites including a page rank 5 with very strong backlinks the traffic steadily increased until yesterday. All sites have lost all traffic  and my page rank 5 site de=indexed When I type site:mysite.com it says that there is no information for it! I was shocked. Well I am new to all this so I thought why not give it a try and bought the software. I did sense that there was a risk using the spinjackpot plugin as well as the article and video scraping plugins, and took the risk. In one of his webinars Anik mentioned a 2% chance of trouble. I guess I was in those 2%! I am getting a refund and using this as a lesson in what not to do!

I mainly monetized the sites with adsense and made 6$.

Wow, amazing! So just where exactly does Anik get his insight for such a specific number? I've never seen it posted in Google's or Matt Cutts blog that doing these practices will net you a 2% chance of being deindexed so I would love for Anik to explain the research he did that yielded this number.

And doesn't the fact that Anik is ADMITTING a "chance of trouble" say something about his products and the dodgy tactics they employ? If you do things honest and legitimately, then you don't "get in trouble" (or maybe I've just been really lucky with all of my sites and my day of "trouble" is coming.)

I've never regretted unsubscribing from his list.

Just to update this post; I did get a refund for this product.

I pointed out to them that the software was violating Youtube's TOS in more than one way, not to mention that by disabling the links back to the article directories the software was scraping, we were also violating the TOS of those sites.

Their reply was that they had been building sites with the software for several months without any problem so don't worry.

I wrote back and told them that what they were saying was like, "We have been shoplifting down at Walmart for several months now and we haven't been caught yet so everything is just fine."

I got no reply for 4 days. Obviously they had no answer for that so I went ahead and got a refund. It's only a matter of time before Google bans these sites.

I bought Profit Jackpot and used it to build a little site for my 7yo that he can track the Google Rankings from and maybe make a few bucks selling a Clickbank guide. His rankings are doing well - in two weeks he's got 5 terms on the first page of Google - and his traffic is starting to increase.

I just checked and his site hasn't been de-indexed.

I just checked out three of his wp sites, the belly fat and the better personal success and they've been hacked.

The forex site doesn't exist. Didn't bother with the rest of the sites since I'm not a babysitter.

Kind of eerie cool music the hacker left though -- but I don't really think that I'm interested in purchasing something that is so easily hackable and also that he doesn't check. Hmmmm...guess he's too busy making money off his software than his site.

    Just my opinion.

Yep. Another thing he fails to mention when dealing with so many sites - you need a way to easily maintain them which I take it his system doesn't do.

I sent in a support ticket labeled "Critical" -- about 24 hours ago and followed up a few hours later. Both tickets are still open with no responses at all.

And, I also sent an email to the person (active Warrior Forum member) who sent me the affiliate email (3 times yesterday) (talk about overkill) regarding Profit Jackpot. He also has not answered me.

Yeah, my tickets are marked Critical too...

I guess after the last two webinars where they tried selling the "Project 25 we'll do it for you service" for like $800 they figure they've milked the crowd for everything its worth, why spend effort on support for no return.

Such a short-sighted approach to business. Imagine if they'd have responded to us in an hour or better yet, sent an email to their buyer's list and said, "Hey, we've got a problem, we're working on it, we'll tell you how to fix it when we sort it out." We'd be on here telling people what a great support mechanism they have.

Instead, we're feeling ripped off, I'm waiting until Tuesday to see if they respond at all before getting a refund and we're trash talking them.

It seems the email list is only used to sell us more products that probably won't work.

Yeah, I own it and have it running on two sites - I really just bought it to play with it a bit.

One site was for my 7yo son and it is what I'd classify as a niche that is not easy, but not hard to rank on the first page for a few keywords - if you know what I mean. His site is ranking there, first page and one good keyword is #2. This niche is hard to monetize, but he's starting to get enough traffic where for fun I might drop $200 on eLance and get someone to write him an eBook that we can put on Clickbank and he can sell on the site.

The other site I put up in a tougher golfing niche to see how it would go without any backlinking or anything. Its getting there, but not for the tough keywords yet - mostly long tail stuff. This site is making a few bucks per week in AdWords revenue because the golf niche has pretty high CPC rates.

Anik Singal has pretty much stopped promoting this product actively. At first he was doing webinars and stuff, but then obviously came the upsells. Once he'd tapped that market, he hasn't written a single email about it since. Which is a pity for him because as Autobloggers go, this one was ok. He could have done better with this product, but the short term attitude got him. I'm at the point of dropping of his lists because its just rubbish swipe copy emails for terrible products - I only was on his list and stayed on it for this product.

My review of the Jackpot software.

    I'm just in the process of getting my money back for this product without a problem. I paid £182.92 and was not impressed on the quality of the articles it produced for my wordpress sites. Read why below and much more;

One example for you is I had so far 98 articles posted give or take a few within a few days (yeh great was pleased) but, on checking on all those articles produced there was a Title in bold (fine) then this apeared first before every writen article (now were talking 98 articles that were posted so far)

AND OTHER ARTICLES WRITEN BELOW UNRELATED TO MY CHOSEN KEYWORDS AND NICHE)

Of course I was not impressed and manually went in to edit each of the 98 posts of what you read above on each post. (yeh I could not believe it) As I'm writing this review for you I have stopped editing and have decided I'm just going to delete this not only one that I set up wordpress site completely, it's just rediculous.

Also, there were the equivalent amount of videos posted that had no articles but were merely just youtube video of my niche.

    What I purchased consisted of;

Article Jackpot software; Article Jackpot plugin, Spin Jackpot plugin (spins the article so google dont recognize), Video Jackpot plugin and the added extras plugins were; Easy adsense, All in one seo pack, Seo smart links, Google xml site maps, & a pop up plugin you didnt have to use if you did not want to activate. Oh I did not purchase the niche JackPot Plugin as I was happy to just find a wordpress theme.

    Also on top of this my hosting company emailed me several times this;

(For the past few days we've noticed extremely high server memory usage from your account .
Have you installed any plugins or other software to your site in the last few days by chance?)

Mentioning the names of the sofware in my last email asking me to remove them. Well this tipped everything for me and I requested a no problems full refund.

My last thoughts, well, I cant say whether the software works to generate an income or not, It may well do but, I expected some good layed out articles on each and every post which it jsut didnt do.

Also one last thing, as recommended you you need to sign up with brain host which charges 6,12,24 months fee in advance, unless you already have hosting that would be happy to except the softwaress. Mine didnt I found out after using the software. HosteGator doesnt except autoblogging software either.

Of course this is just my experience and I cant speak for everyone who decides to purchase the ProfitJackPot Software. It may vary well work and may acheive good results?

Although I was initially excited about the purchase of this software, and I quickly implemented Anik's Project 25, I began to become worried as I started to receive emails from the writer of some articles who did not like the fact that their article was on my site and their name had been removed from the article. I was asked, politely, to remove their article from my site. Which I did. But it became more and more of a hassle. Eventually leading me to request a refund.

      Hi Going Up,

Create a page/post that is going to be your home page.

Go to settings>reading in your blog admin and then from the top part which says - 'front page displays' select 'a static page' and then use the drop down boxes to select the page you created.

I bought Profit Jackpot incl upsell,[except SEO Linkvine as already have this excellent tool as expected from Brad ] when first released but havent done anything with it yet, apart from going thru the details as was busy on another project. Am almost ready for first 5 or 6 sites and will be adding a further 5 to 10 a week till I have around 35 to 40 and will then appraise results. I do expect to put in time checking content and getting better SEO / ranking. Not difficult or costly to outsource this.
Certainly would not have PJ as sole means, I consider essential to have several methods of potential / real income on the go as never know when one may get knocked down.
The software has a problem working with likes of Hostgator so I have set up hosting recommended in PJ, no problems with this and is quite a lot cheaper for a dedicated server so will use it for other projects also.
I'll come back with an update once I have gained some experience with PJ.
