Alternative to Main Street Marketing Machine?

I am looking for more "training" and less "tools". (I already have tools. Not in just one single package, but tools anyway)

What would be the best offline training courses out there?

    For the Local Business niche you could do a lot worse than looking out for some of Matt Bush's video training courses. Always top notch! And always released as WSO's.

      I agree with Kevin. THE best way to start locally
      is just do it. If you know someone who owns a business
      get with them, if not here's what I did way back when.

      I found a business who had some credibility locally and
      offered to market them FREE if I could use them as a
      reference for future business. (Provided I did a good job)

      I gave them a lead capture page-and started building a list
      for them. Everything I could think of I did to help them.

      Won't go into all the specifics but here's the gist of it:

      YOU have nada to lose except your time.
      THEY have nothing to lose but your time LOL

      Everybody in town knows who they are.....you're in.
