I took a pass on it... even though I wanted to join, initially.

If you quit, you lose your pages.

Good for him, bad for you.

You are forced to pay the monthly fee in order for your pages to remain active. Basically, you do not own the pages, he does (he responded that people could build a bunch of pages and quit if he did not set it up that way).

He is right... they could. More reason to be really good and do the things that will make them want stay. It's the proverbial member site mentality that they will download everything and cancel.

Your pages are also branded with his logo unless you upgrade. Do not know the details on the upgrade as I never received an answer to the question.

He boasts in the videos about other companies charging you extra for everything while he does not - as this is a major feature of his program, but you have to continue paying the monthly. Over the course of having the fan page(s) paying more upfront could have been less than the monthly total?

Looks like a great service if you plan on paying the monthly forever.

I'm not hammering on the product... looks like a super service... these are just a couple things I was not aware of until I did some digging.

He told me the answers to my questions were on the FAQ page... never found an FAQ page.

Adaum, I did not know about the logo branding. It's true that he owns the page, but in all honesty, we never own facebook pages anyway, facebook can shut them down any time. I did buy the product and will check it out. I am not too happy about having to pay a monthly membership fee forever, but if the product is as good as he says, and makes me money, it is worth it for me.

He has an optional upsell for $17.- dollars a month that gives you the right to sell fan pages to anyone and turn this into a business. He says that it will look like it all came from you directly, not from him.

There are a few more upsells, a graphics pack for $77,-, a marketing course and a special deal on all his courses in one mega package for over $500.- He is not pushy about his upsells and says that the course stands on its own.

I think this product might be too much of an investment over time if you only use it for one fanpage, but if you are planning on setting up a bunch of them or sell fanpages as a business, then it might be a real value if it works as claimed. You can use it on as many personal pages as you like, but to sell it to others you have to get the developer's license which he says is $17.- if you buy it with the course, and otherwise $97 a month.

He also says that they are still in the process of uploading lots of material, and that some of the links do not point to much yet. He asks his buyers to be patient for a few days until it is all ready. That's not a problem for me, although I think it would be better if a course is completely ready when it is released.

He seems like an honest and straight forward guy. I hope the course will be as good as it looks in his presentation. I will report on it once I set it up.

I purchased this morning and let me say that out of all other programs out there this has to be the easiest to use. I created a kick butt fp in less that 3 minutes. It has templates for real estate as well as restaurant use.

as far as the usage, Brian is very obscure about the fact that he mentions nothing on his sales pitch about it being only for personal use so I'm a bit bummed out on that.

Yes, if you're only going to use this for personal use then this may not be the option or program for you but if you're building fb fp for others then this is hands down the way to go about it.

I bought this upsell. I think it was actually more expensive, like $47, but I thought I could easily pass on the monthly costs by selling some pages to other businesses. Unfortunately, in my testing so far all the pages have come out with a "Powered by 5 Minute fan pages" logo featured prominently at the top and there doesn't seem to be anyway to remove this. This isn't good since I bought the upsell specifically because he mentioned it wouldn't have this branding. I've put in a request to support about it a couple days ago, but I haven't heard back. So far my monthly fee has bought an email that says I have a "multi-site license" and nothing else.

Otherwise, it's a nice tool for clicking and dragging together custom fan pages. I built 2 within about 20 minutes of registering. It's just that without being able to rebrand the pages, I just don't know if this tool will be that useful to my business.

Why didn't you just say Lujure? What's fancypagecreators? Oh is that your affiliate link?

I actually thought is pricing smashed Lujure's! $27 a month for 3 pages versus 25 for unlimited which Lujure charge $195 a month for.

My associate who has Lujure was not impressed and asked Lujure about this and all their co founder could come up with was it doesn't have Analytics. I'll run my own and save the $170 a month!

Really surprised they let him undercut them but i think the price may be going up although it is not a good thing for Lujure customers to have seen this. It's like they sold the farm!

Basically what I think he has done is intergrate with Lujure and is providing "added" value with his 5MinFanPage membership. He is providing some video training and some little bonuses but nothing that warrants his fee(s) and really anyone who can navigate websites, do point an click etc, is going to learn all they need from Lujure.

Obviously the "page no found' and occasional <grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr> will be coming from the fact there are technical problems some where within either his 5min.... setup and Lujure. He is having his problems for sure.

I haven't personally setup a business account with Lujure so not sure how all the intergration works, branding with your own company logo etc., but there are many systems out there that will allow you to do this now.... take website hosting for example, you can become a reseller with the likes of HostGator and completely re-brand the service.

Hope we get some more comments here as I am interested to find out what other peoples experience has been....

gforces is totally right about this being rebranded Lujure Assembly Line. I made this discovery when my tech support ticket, the only one that has gotten a response so far, went over to the people at Lujure. Now, I'm curious if he really is just paying for a single business account.

As of right now, I've found the 5MFP service most severely lacking in support. Honestly, there's not much depth to the training when compared to something like a standalone product, such as the same guy's Get 10,000 Fans training. If this support thing doesn't change soon, I'm going to cancel and seek a refund. Like I said before, I can't sell a service to people if I can't rely on the company on the back-end to respond in a reasonable amount of time and support their product.

I'll follow-up with some more info once I decide what to do.

I'd also like to debunk a bad math myth that has been going around. The optional upsell is not $17 dollars. The developer/white label/etc upsell is an additional $47 a month. Buying it means your monthly fees are $24.95 + $47 or $71.95 a month. If you want to see proof, I can show you copies of my receipts.

I was on a conf call he did for another marketer in what was clearly a swap situation as I'd seen the guy who was running this call give a major testimonial for Brian at the launch of 5M fan page.

So this was the payback....anyway on this call which was about FB ads he mentioned how he ran a question to all his people about if they wanted to use 5m fan page to sell to clients and the majority did so he decided to bail the standard offer and just make the upsell the only offer you can get....

It would be great if we can all know if the "Powered by 5MFP" ever gets removed at whatever level. Can you let us all know? It definitely makes a huge difference to how the pages are going to come across. I don't think any business wants a fan page with some elses promo on it, especially at the top like that. I can understand it happening if we were getting the system for free, it would be a way for 5MFP to promo themselves, but the normal model on the net is if you pay the 'ads' go away.

  I'd like to report back to let everyone know that after another round of emails to support they did remove the branding straight away. I had to be very direct in asking that the branding be removed, but they did it without any fuss and it was done within a reasonable amount of time.
  
  I don't know if this was some kind of screw up in account upgrades or if everyone who bought the upsell will have the logos unless they ask for them to be removed, but if you bought the upsell and have the logos you will have to email them at brian@get10000fans.com and straight up ask that the logos are removed. Not to beat a dead horse, but you have to say "I bought the 5 minute fan page profits upsell. I still have the "powered by..." logo and I need it removed."

Even if it is $71.95/mo that's better than $195/mo which is what Lujure charges. He's not paying for a business account either. He has a white label version of Lujure's platform. I agree support can be better but he's just sold 1000 copies in a few days so I'm sure he's dealing with a nightmare of emails. I'm also sure it will get better. Email him direct and he will respond within 24 hours. Also leave a message on his fan page letting him know you are waiting for a response.

I don't disagree. Support issue aside, the 5MFP Profits package is a better deal than the Lujure business account on a monthly fee basis. Ostensibly it is the exact same feature set for way less than half the price. That's why I really want to give it a chance.

This is my main issue with the entire system. If they have a set support system, it shouldn't be necessary to go outside it in order to get things fixed. When you sell a product you need to be prepared for the rash of I-don't-even-know-my-own-name-type support problems and have a way to sort out the real issues.

For clarity's sake, I emailed him yesterday evening about this and I do plan to give him a chance. The problem seems much more widespread than just me, and an easy fix would have been to use the list of upsell buyers. One email saying "Hey, we've had a lot of reports of...If you're having trouble..." is all it would take.

I took a quick look around to see if I could find a cheaper way to do this and I found 3 free 5 minute fan page alternatives. There are probably more but I didn't want to take all day looking.

All of them have some pretty good stuff on the free account.

I think that you should just save your money and get some free fan pages from one of these

Have you seen Pagemodos rates ?

I do fan pages at a rate of 5 to 12 a week. sometimes more. 5MFP is in fact Lujure but cheaper.

Look at Lujures rates = 299 a month compared to 47 a month for unlimited with 5MFP

If you're in business to crank out fan pages then there is nothing out there that can touch Brian's 5MFP platform - PERIOD

but if you only need it for 1 or 2 personal pages then you're better off looking somewhere else.

I hope that you guys have had some luck in communicating with Brian Moran and the 5MinFanPage fiasco. I have emailed him (directly and posted on his fanpage) over the last 3-4 days and received no reply. The support desk is 'dead'. There are no longer any emails coming out of the system, not even auto acknowledge, when they did previously. Nothing. Nadda.

You will get a response from Lujure, they seem to be professional and on top of things, providing quick, accurate, helpful information.

It does appear that he does have a white label version (but how do we know that for sure?) of Lujure's product but why has he made it seem like it's his product right throughout the launch? I guess you can do that with white label rights but still..... I feel like he has been "pulling the wool over our eyes". Very disappointed. I have zero to do with him but he seems pretty straight up and down and I have bought his products and refunded on one and got my money back no problem.

I can't imagine he wouldn't have the deal sorted with Lujure properly but who knows....maybe he has gone outside of the agreement??? He is clearly very good at promoting and uses a 1/2 IM 1/2 standard online marketer approach that seems to work for him.

I decided to return 5 minute fan page and get another product of his which is more suitable for me I think, the Fanpage Secrets. I got a very quick and polite response to my refund request. Then they followed up with an email asking me why I decided to get a refund and how they could have served me better.

So in my experience their customer service is very good.

If you quit, you lose your pages.

Good for him, bad for you.

You are forced to pay the monthly fee in order for your pages to remain active. Basically, you do not own the pages, he does (he responded that people could build a bunch of pages and quit if he did not set it up that way).

Monthly subscription for Fan pages, think I'll give this a miss.

Hi Froggie,

The new 5mfp 2.0 is way under valued from what they had before which was Lujure. The price is crazy too. There really isn't anything in my opinion that can compete with lujure. If you are looking for unlimited there is x-tab and fanpageengine. Other than that there are not any good developer apps that aren't pricey. Lujure is pricey but I think it's worth it because it saves me a ton of time when building pages.

Thanks a lot for your quick response! I'm not sure what you mean by 5mfp2.0 is "way undervalued." Does that mean it offers less value than 5mfp(1.0) or, that it's cheap for what it offers? Also, do gather correctly that there is no developer offering with 5mfp2.0?

5mfp 1.0 was unlimited if you had bought the oto when it came out and white label for a little more. Now with 2.0 you get only 15 tabs to be used on up to 15 pages plus it's all template based so no way to really make your own layouts. It's great for beginners or people that want to do their own fan pages easily but for people like me who build "Killer" fan pages

It's not up to par.

Pretty Simple- If you don't own it - then don't get!

How do you build a long term business if you are not in control???

What if he goes out of business or decides to up the monthly fees.

Also, once you figure it out- in a very short time - you are going to quit anyhow and go with a much better and cheaper solution(s).

These people (if they are) are only trying to prey upon the fact you don't know much about FB yet or maybe how Internet marketing really works!

Run from these predators!

Remember 1/2 of the $97.00 and monthly goes to the affiliate- who told you to visit that site- so everything is 50% more than it should be!

They just want to hold you and your business hostage until you figure it out!

Go and sign up for the WSO's here! I know of at least 3 different programs that will work for you and all between $10-30.00. Plus their customer service in most cases will blow you away!

Also, building FB fan pages for business isn't as easy as it once was- there is a-lot of competition now. You better know what you are doing or very experienced people will eat your lunch.

Purchased LeadPages and 5MinuteFanPage to compare them, looks like I need to try Pagemodo too (cheaper than 5Min, looks to be the same). EDIT: Ok, 5MinFanPage is Pagemodo based. Lujure must have become pagemodo.
I DON'T like that if I stop paying or they go out of business all my pages/tabs/etc goes bye bye.
What's the alternative? I've been googling and have failed to find an answer of how to do them oneself. There's a lot to be said for the ease etc of these services, but would not be happy if they went away suddenly some day.
