George Pluss Turnkey Websites

You are quite right. I believe George Pluss is no longer involved there, maybe he retired, maybe he passed away, I don't know. But I do know whoever is running all that now, isn't taking care of business. I lost 4 "turnkey" blogs because I did not control the hosting. In fact I paid for a year, but lost the blogs with at least 6 months to go. I don't believe there is much point in trying to get a pro-rated refund, which is really what I'm owed.... The domain names simply expired...

The paypal account name was always Lin Lin Bu or something like that, but I always got responses from "George Pluss" for support - then it stopped several months ago.

So, I agree, don't buy anything from "George Pluss" unless you can put it on hosting you control, and the domain names are pushed to you.

I have something there also. My first problem came when I late paid a 4 dollar hosting bill. No reason just kept forgetting. But I had recieved an email saying it was late and I paid it. The the last 2 months I paid on time but still got the message saying I was last again but I wasn't. Last time I submitted at the help desk as they say to do and it just sat there unanswered. So I emailed George directly and it was taken care of and I got the thanks please use the help desk form message too. But it was taken care of. Not at the help desk it is still setting there now.

The payments still seem to go to George. This time I paid and didn't go through the hassle of emailing George and finally got the account suspended email. He sells the stuff and now he tried to split every thing up. He was still selling. Had started MyProfitHosting and MyprofitName. I don't know whats up but something sure is.

I wasn't going to use the hosting any more any way. I still have one domain name at MyProfitName so I better try to transfer that if I still can. It's paid up.

I had also bought an item form George a while back that was supposed to be up to date and it wasn't. Had many dead end links in it. There was so much wrong I spent days going through everything. I got through to support but it was pretty much useless. Screwed up my cron jobs and wanting me to focus on a different part of my project. I feel it was one of the times I truly was ripped off. But it was a valuable lesson for me so I don't dwell on it.

What happened was the hosting was moved into MyProfitHosting automatically. The domain name was originally to be pushed to NameCheap and but then he created MyProfitName and said if I want to get it it had to be moved to MyProfitName first and then could be pushed to NameCheap. I better do the push. lol The domain site still seems active so we'll see.

When I got results for the hosting problem I sent an email to to different addresses at the same time. I did this after I saw my support ticket sit there for a week and was never looked at.

If it had MyProfit in the name it was George. Now I don't know. The last sales email I got from George was Nov 16

I was comfortable buying some of "the small stuff" from him, you know, "dime sale" type things for $5-$7 here and there but I never felt right about making a bigger investment. Thanks for confirming.

Nick George has been on the web for ages. He used to have a good reputation. Thats why I purchased I don't purchase from people that I don't know usually.

Has anyone just bought the portals, without their hosting - I just bought one of there packages - it was only $3.50 - surely these should be ok, right - if I use my own hosting company, like hostgater - and if so - could I use wordpress with it
