Russell Simmons - Super Rich

I've been listening to Rusell Simmon's latest motivational tape, and really getting inspired. He is not only successful but also into Yoga, Buddhist and Hindu texts, and a Vegetarian.

The current chapter is about not being attached to the result, but instead remaining focused on this moment and doing what you know is right; doing what moves you forward and choosing those actions that will make other people's live's better. It's easy to let your ego become attached to the result instead of focusing on staying focused on moving in the right direction at all times.

Lots of great stuff in this book. Highly recommended!

    I agree I am not only a big fan of Russell Simmons but of both of his books Do You! and his newest Super Rich he certainly knows what he is talking about.

    Another book you may like that I think is a must read for any entrepreneur is Dan Kennedy's No B.S. Wealth Attraction In The New Economy!

    This is kind of off topic, but my cousin just did a painting for an art catalog that he curated - which was pretty cool! She got to meet him a few weeks ago. She told me it was very obvious that he was VERY wealthy.

    What it does show is that he leaves no realm untouched. He started as a rapper, and now he curates art catalogs that illustrate R&B songs. That is how a true entrepreneur works. They have their hand in everything. Always keep that in mind. Open-minded people are most likely to succeed.

    I'm glad I read this. I just purchased "Super Rich" the audiobook after buying the actual book ... and not even having the time to crack it open and get to work. I'm traveling a lot and purchased that to listen to along with several Dan Kennedy seminar snippets on CD (they come in the back of his books).
