Looking For Yellow Pages Software That Generates Biz Leads W/ Emails

Hi Everyone, Sandy here..

I'm looking for either a WSO or website, that is selling software
that utilizes yellowbook, yellow pages, etc. business contacts,
and leads.

It must also include the client business's email address.

I remember 'Jonathan Teng' aka WF User: 'nathantk'
having an offer for this, but he temporarily closed it.

Anyone know of any other Warriors who are offering this kind of software?

Thanks so much,
Sandy

I bought Yellow Maker software in 2003, it suited its purpose to create online yellow pages for my home town. You will probably be able to find better software now.

    Hi Sandy,

YellaBot (Not Yellow Bot) came out in 2010 (not 2003 like mentioned above) and is recommended by a lot of marketers. It's a one time $97 price tag with free updates for life. Probably exactly what your looking for.

The people who make yellabot seem to have disappeared, not responding to emails and support tickets, and even their main website is down.

    Anyone know what's going on?

I have been looking at these to - for yellow pages
    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ails-urls.html
the Aussie version has been removed - yellow pages here will go after anyone selling this type of software! - so I have not used this one

    I have used
    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-150-sold.html
at $10 - good value - it stopped working for a while, but I got an update a few days ago and is working again - Is pretty basic - will extract info from google places - only gets emails if they have been added to the google places page

I am looking at this one
    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...per-month.html
bit more pricey but loks to have a lot more features and could be a big timesaver

rehttp://www.powerleadspro.com/ - pricey! not half ... tell 'em they're dreamin' ,son

YellaBot for the win if you want easy to use. Updated all the time. Support is good. A new version coming out soon for scraping many keywords/cities/countries on autopilot with rotating proxies.

Are you, by any chance affiliated with YellaBot? I like the idea of a new version coming out soon but, am concerning with the post of 06/20 (below) in this thread:

Did they stop remove the Aussie option? Do you know if the new version will remove/add other County options? For $97 I'd like to be sure it's something I can use for a long time and the post of 06/18 (below) does cause a little concern.

The people who make yellabot seem to have disappeared, not responding to emails and support tickets, and even their main website is down.
Thanks for any reply to help me with the decision to fork over $97.

      Thanks,

      Patsy

        Hi Patsy,

YellaBot still supports Australia. We do updates regularly in case any of the supported countries cease to work for any reason. Currently, all 11 of the countries Yellabot supports are in a stable, working state.

Although every host experiences down time every now and then, I've personally never seen the site offline for any length of time. It must have been an intermittent issue.

There are no significant support issues with this product other than an occasional installation issue or there are times when one of the countries we support may stop working for a short period of time until we can fix it. We do our best to respond quickly to support tickets and issues are usually fixed right away... updates are usually made within 1-3 work days.

Keep in mind, only heavy hitters will need the Power User version we will be releasing later this month and there will be a price increase for this version. The price of the standard version will remain $97. Price of the Power User version will be announced on YellaBot.com.

        Cheers!

Thanks for the prompt response! I am mainly interested in USA and South Africa listing right now and apparently YellaBot has both of these. It's down to YellaBot and Business Lead Miner talked about in this thread. Wish there was a comparison of the two. Do you know what you have that BLM doesn't (other than I don't think they have the South Africa database -- and will be a deal breaker for me)?

Sure. I know YellaBot is very fast whereas BLM is very slow in comparison. YellaBot will scrape 30 results in a few seconds. It looks like BLM takes a few seconds per listing... so, maybe 10-20 times slower, at least.

Also, because he doesn't mention it, I'm assuming BLM does not have built-in restart features. So, if the site errors out, it just stops. YellaBot will restart for you right where we left off if any error happens while scraping.

Proxy support is a huge benefit, especially if you do deep scrapes (thousands of results) or if you scrape often. If so, you run the risk of any of the Yellow Pages sites temporarily blocking your IP address. It's important that you have a way to use proxies in case this happens, otherwise, you'll be stopped in your tracks.

With YellaBot, we have rotating proxy support. You can upload a list of working proxies, Yellabot will test proxies and automatically rotate to the next proxy if it times out or fails. For me, this would be a deal breaker.

    YellaBot covers more countries.

I just went through and did a thorough test on all countries and it looks like a couple minor updates are needed for Canada, Germany, Ireland and S. Africa. I'll get the wheels turning on that and an update should be completed no later than Wednesday, 09/08/2011.

    Cheers!

My time is worth money and I hate waiting around on things to process so this put YellaBot in the lead.

Another huge point in your favor.....

I want to keep my options open to earn some extra income selling small targeted databases -- so another point here.

I will drop back in on Wednesday -- please update this thread when the updates are done. I'm in hopes of having the $97 to purchase YellaBot as I think it will work best for me. Any Labor day specials????

    Gerry,
Any updates??? I also replied twice to the email sent to my personal email, this week, with no response. Yellabot may be faster in processing but, support and prompt responses are huge. $97 is a lot of money to me to lay down on software.

Have purchased power lead x & sniperbot.

sniperbot still got to wait for activation code - read their thread saw the 'heated' arguement they had with a warrior who claimed no reply from them and they reverted with prompting refund... Real worry about their service style - not favour in buying something ending up unhappy experience with heated vendor

Power Lead x... the price was not only pricy at $297... after purchased then realised it breaks into many many plugin which u need to pay and pay and pay....

eg. yellow page for $197 + and facebook + + + +...... the a package of coming to a $1,000. Hidden costs - lots of hidden cost..

Whereas Yellwbot - not suitable - the country I wanted not in it...

      Just a point of sharing

        @YodaRules

Sorry, I don't always see these forum posts come in. I try.

As for support, you really need to put a support ticket at Eatworm Support Desk if you want prompt replies. My email accts get 1000's of emails and don't always get replied to.

As for this product sorry I didn't update this thread. I don't spend a lot of time on the forums here like I'd like to. And, I saw you posted to me at twitter but couldn't for the life of me figure out what you were referring to. Only now, seeing your user name here did I make the connection. Sorry.

Anyway, all these updates are completed and have been for awhile now. So, if you're interested feel free to grab a copy.

        Cheers!

My apologies. Normally your license would be in your hands within seconds of purchase. I looked into this for you just now. You may want to check your spam box. We've sent 2-emails so far, the automated license and welcome letter delivery at time of purchase and it was resent a 2nd time in reply to your support ticket. My guess is your activation code and instructions were routed to your spam box by your ISP. sbcglobal is known for being difficult. I've had a member of our support team edit your license to use your paypal email instead (your gmail account). That should do the trick. If not, please let me know.

There are a few pieces of software out there, but only few live up to the expectations as some are rather expensive & do not perform at the level that they claim.
