Anyone been Conned into Buying Comission Siphon?

Hi all, i learnt a valuable lesson last month in IM, which has fuelled my awarness in buying products blind.

I was emailed details of a webinar by 'Sean Donehoe' of 'Extreme Niche Empires' of which is a great well put together course and he comes across as very genuine and the course content is great, as per the great reviews and testimonials on WF.

So, apparently Sean had met this guy 'Simon" at a conference and his system blew him away and then persuaded him to reveal it via the webinar, of which 'Simon' agreed reluctantly.

The webinar was hosted by the developer 'Simon", with an introduction by Sean himself (Probaly pre-recorded by a script, as i will tell you why later) who had developed this amazing underground software that is streamlined to make quick profits setting up niche blogs as everything is all in one place. Anyway this amazing system was netting Simon and his family including his Granny $100,000/month. As it was his own system he decided at the end of the webinar to allow 15 people to use the system for 997 dollars OTP. And yes i was one of them suckers who went and paid for it!

I know what your thinking, its my own fault for buying into somthing like this and yes your right it is my fault and as i said earlier i learnt a very valuble lesson and a major kick up the arse, which i will use as an advantage as i wont be beaten!

I instantly tried for a refund and there was absoulutly no chance of this happening, Simon said he only needs serious people, it was not conveyed in the webinar that there would be no refund! I expressed my disappointment and anger yet again and then my emails were ignored from that point on.

The major problem i have with this is the following.

Sean Donahoe has promoted this product seemingly as an exclusive, however that is BS. It turns out at least one other 'guru' promted the exact same product and webinar using the eact same words, that he persuaded Simon to reveal his sytem. How do i know this? Well when i first logged onto the 'Comission Siphon" Website one of the links was wrong and it took me straight to a video page used by the other IM Guru and law and behold it was the exact same bull **** that i had heard from Sean Donahoe 1 hour earlier? Figure that one out? There may have been other IM Gurus promoting this system, which is likley

The system itself is very weak - It does have a few decent componenets and it could be a good sytem if it was developed properly. You have no flexibility in your WP site set up as its all through the sytems own server, you cannt even add an RSS Feed to it. I have bought more valuble WSO's for less than 20 bucks. 997 is just scandlous.

Overall it was the way that so called trusted IM have mislead you into buying some crock of ****e products, when they preach to you that push button systems dont work and then convince you to go and buy them, obviously they are making a tidy profit per sale just for sending out emails to people on their mailing list and prerecording some crap. Easy money Sean! Please do not email crap like this again unless you genuinly feel its worth it.

Oh buy the way, please be wary of this product if it rears its head again.

BTW: Is there any governing bodies i can make a complaint to regarding this and getting a refund??? Any help appreciated as i feel like i have been conned good and proper!

Yes i was one of the people who also bought into this scam. I have sent Sean a private message and he has still not replied, this has been over a week now... Within this message was evidence all across the internet that this software is indeed a scam including various links to message boards and conversations with other buyers. Like you i never suspected foul play, as this was recommended by Sean and so far his failure to respond certainly makes me doubtful of his honesty. Thankfully i was lucky to get a refund through paypal if you require further assistance, please feel free to pm me. Together we can build substantial evidence to hopefully get something done about this and prevent other users falling victim also.

WhiteChapel- i find it funny you consider yourself "conned" by buying a product. Did you put your CC info in? Didn't you press BUY NOW? .. it's not conned.. your just upset you're not making a gazillion dollars with a push of a button.. now there are rules you should follow with ANY ONLINE product..

    1. Always - ALWAYS look for the refund policy or cancellation policy before buying anything on the web. If it's not stated- there is a chance there is NONE. \

    2. Have you tried using the software? I actually got it quite some time ago, and I've been pretty happy with it. It does what it says it's supposed to do.. I found the education material very well lined up and organized. It does do the step by step.

The keyword research is clear and works nicely. I love the feature of the domain names with your keywords. Creating traffic generation and the reports are also a plus.

    3. RESEARCH. Don't you know by now? When you see an offer out there- come take a look and get an opinion. USE THE SEARCH FEATURE.

In the end, I don't think it's a scam, I bet you're one of those who have bought every program with disappointment …

How about you start putting that software to good use and earning money .. it can be done..cause i'm doing it!

      Thanks for your input.
I think if you do your research on this product the general opinion is that the way it was marketed by a so called trusted IM'ers was concerning!

There was no mention of a refund because it was marketed via a webinar not a sales page!

I am not the only person that feels the same way regarding the way the product is marketed and as i stated in my original post i have only my self to blame, but hey lets move on, thats not the problem.

My gripe is, as well as many others, is the way it was marketed, and the final product was dissapointing when i looked over it. Just a load of rhetorical crap and at the end of the day the product and sytem is limited and gives the user no flexibility.

Its not worth 997 bucks. If i had paid under 100 i wouldnt care less. The way this was marketed by trusted sources disappoints me.

As i said i have learnt my lesson and i am glad for it.

Furthermore i dont agree with you that its a good software, not for that price. Maybe you are trying to justify your purchase by finding some good in it!

I recently bought stealth keyword analyser for about 30 bucks and has more value that Commsision Siphon.

I have no intention of using the software! I have my own methodolgy developed which gives me the flexibilty to maximise my ROI.

      Cheers

99.9% of these programs are junk. Why you people keep falling for them is beyond me. I do feel for you and it's an expensive lesson. All these money making programs that follow the same style are junk products. You know the ones where they claim huge profits, hardly any work, text highlighted in red, Clickbank earnings, Adsense earnings all over it and so on. It's all bull.

All these guys are in it together pushing each others products and getting a nice cut from it. I don't know either of these guys you mention but they fit the formula.

Goodluck to Jimspeed, hope you make your money back soon.

I watched that webinar, but when the "pitch" revealed it was going to cost $997, and no mention of a money back guarantee I immediately hit the close button.

In fact I never buy anything online without a moneyback guarantee, as most items in the "make money" niche are pure garbage.

Don't get me wrong, if an item is actually of good value, I don't mind paying a fair amount for it, but that has happened so rarely.
