Hi,

Has anyone looked at Sam Bakker's FBcash 2.0? As always, trying to decide if it's worth my time, effort, and moolah.

I have FBCash 2 and it is loaded with a ton of tutorials and videos. In the current state of launch products that are kind of weak, I actually find Sam's product to be really quite thorough.

I'd say that if you want to learn how to use Facebook as a serious marketing tool then I'd recommend getting it. There are a lot of tips and strategies for utilizing Facebook.

Here are the titles of the main modules:

      01. Introduction
      02. Facebook Profile Basics
      03. How Business Pages Grow
      04. Unique Features of Business Pages
      05. The Ninja Fan Page Script Templates
      06. Adding FBcash Templates
      07. Further Customizing FBcash Templates
      08. Friend Getting Strategies
      09. Using Other People's Pages to Get Fans
      10. Teaming Up to Get Fans
      11. Communication Strategies
      12. Lead Generation
      13. Safety First
      14. Bringing it All Together
      15. Getting Clients
      16. Conversion Optimizer
      17. Facebook To Website Integration
      18. Facebook Applications
      19. Text Message Marketing

Some of those sections also have multiple tutorials under them for a lot of content.

I've been personally learning some good stuff from it and the app generator is pretty cool, but I've only played with it briefly. But overall if you are serious about Facebook marketing and want to learn more about it, this is the product to buy.

That's just my opinion, but I like this product.

Hi Jason thanks for your post. The sales video specifically states that this is about viral applications not about fan pages but the modules below suggest otherwise. Can you confirm whether the main focus of the course is fan pages or applications?
        Thanks
        Tony

    Hi Tony

FB Cash is a must have for anyone considering harnessing the power of FB in both offline arena and online as well. Sam doesn't leave anything out in the training videos. To answer your question - the course covers fan page creation and marketing and also the use of applications. I haven't seen anything out there currently which provides training on those strategies combined.

The other thing to note is that, Sam talks the walk as well. He is just not a product creator...he practices what he teaches to his students with his own offline business as well.

    Highly recommended.

      Hi Sandy
Are you refering to version 1 of fb cash as that is not what the new sales video says, it specifically says nothing to do with fan pages.

I did also see that it says it has nothing to do with fan pages but creating fan pages or "business pages" as they are also referred to in the training is integrated.

The entirety of FBCash2 doesn't revolve around profiting from fan pages, but the creation of them is part of the process.

    Hey Guys,

Welcome to all those who have jumped into FB Cash 2.0 so far. I hope you enjoying it and if you need anything you know you can get me on the forum inside or email me

I thought id clarify whats in the package...

When we listed FB Cash 2.0 on warrior it was originally a fan page system for offline clients. We then decided to combine FB Cash 2.0 with a new software we have been working with to complement that course. Members now have another option that's working really well right now with Facebook Marketing to local businesses.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to post.

      Hi Sam,

I have bought several of your products (and Wynnes) and they are good !.

I really don´t want to spend money on Fan Pages. I have everything I need. If Fb 2.0 is a large % about Fan Pages and a little about apps then it isn´t for me.

I watched the video and it says it is all about helping local businesses with apps. Is that correct ?. I would love some examples as to how an app can help a local business (all I ever hear is coupon codes !). I have offline clients like carpet cleaners, photographers, removals companies, hypnotist, hotel owner, kitchen company - how does FB 2.0 help me or how does it help me get new clients. There were no examples in the video - could you give some examples as to how you can use apps please ?.

      Thanks

I'm also interested to know the answers to these questions. How does a FB application work for a local gym owner for example? Or a restaurant?

          Hey Steve,

Sorry it's taken an age to get back to you. Launch is over and I now have time to take a breather lol. Thanks for reaching out via a pm. I can't remember whether I reponded. We have had a battle with server outages and al kinds of random things .

Anyway im glad you asked for those two examples because we have a member right now making money with a gym they are helping with an app and I personally have a number of restraurants I work with. One in particular we will be talking about on Thursdays webinar.

Gym: An application is a traffic getting tool. Thats the main point I need to communicate to you. It's a way to spread an idea through facebook fast or engage an audience. It can be combined with a facebook page like this company has here: Lemon & Paeroa - Status Updater | Facebook Or it can be used as a viral app like this member has created here Golf and Haute Cuisine Weekend Getaway on Facebook | Facebook

An example for a gym might be that they want to get more people through their door and using them. So they decide that if you use a special coupon or link on facebook then you can get access to a 30 day free pass or something like that. Then when people go through the app they are encouraged to share it with their friends, the gym captures their email to promote to in future or remind to come in and the user can print out the coupon and walk into the gym to redeem it.

This is a basic example of this occuring.

This can be the same with a restaurant as well. You'll also notice now that if you log-in to facebook and then go to Breaking News and Opinion on The Huffington Post they are using a popout app on their front page. FB Cash 2.0 upsell offers this feature as well among many others. You can see an example here: Untitled Document

The report I release will be about 30 pages of examples and case studies. There really is SOOO much going on with these out there that the time to act is now.

          Hope this helps

          Cheers

        Hey Si,

Good questions. Applications is the main focus in our offline business right now and we are building that into our online training programs. FB Cash 2.0 is now targeted towards both applications and fan pages with training that will enable you to make money with both.

Applications are tools that can help either a big business or small business that wants to boost traffic over facebook immediately.

I could explain their uses but it's probably best to just show you a really cool example I found the other day. Here is a link to it: OfflineBully EVP 2.0 » exampleapps

This will show you an example of an application when applied to the right kind of page.

Here's a message i just got through in the apps section of the course also:

    Hi Sam

I watched the video and tbh I couldn't really see how a local business can benefit from these apps? How are both examples in the video being monetized? Do you have an example of a local business using an app to gain more clients? In the sales video a guy called Mo Goulet is supposedly making $20,000 per month, are you able to give us an example of how his clients are benefiting please?

I want to make money from these apps but only if they truly add value to my local business clients.

    Many Thanks

Sam .. Wynne .. If I had seen this up here earlier guys I would have been lauding your praises days back. Never, have you failed to come up short on any product or course you have produced. In fact you have consistently over-delivered every time! FB Cash 2.0 is certainly no exception!!

Daily, I am applying your wisdom and strategies in my consultancy business showing local businesses how to get the very best out of Facebook. It gets more and more exciting every day, as I see so many businesses clamouring to get a piece of the 'Facebook action'.

For folk thinking about doing what I'm doing and wondering whether they will receive value from FB Cash 2.0 .. I say .. 'Value unsurpassed. This is YOUR big chance to have your slice of the lucrative local business niche. DON'T PASS UP ON THIS'.

      Hey Mike,

Good question, yes many of our members have made money their first week. Here is an interview we did with one who is 15 years of age. http://fbcash.com/communications/jelle-sam-interview

It's not the tool that is going to make you money helping local businesses it's your understanding of the training and how we encourage you to demonstrate the power of the tool to businesses to make money.

Hey Sam - I'm really into FB fanpages and apps right now - for both online and offline - which is why I was initially drawn to FBcash 2.0. I've been grabbing FB related WSOs left and right lately.

UNFORTUNATELY, this offer is just a bit too "blind" for me at this point.. and because of this, I have no idea if this is *new* or just duplicate of things I've picked up from other Warriors recently.

How about some more info about what is actually included in the 'product'? As others have asked, is our $39 actually buying us an 'app' that we can use on customers sites?

Or it is more about teaching us that we can outsource app development?

For those that already have FB apps like Social App Creator, coupon apps, FB Games etc - does this offer anything additional (i.e. good ways to promote those apps to clients)?

As others have asked, HOW are clients making money with these apps?

Finally - word is that there are 3 upsells and 2 downsells

As the FBcash 2.0 "launch" already happened a few weeks ago, do you care now to elaborate on what the upsells are for those of us who initially sat this one out (but are still interested)?

I don't know about other Warriors, but this is the kind of thing that I don't like about the way some guys use the WF.

It seems like he used this to launch a new product .. and then disappeared. I've noticed 4 or 5 people asking legitimate questions ... asking for more information, for clarifications, for examples, for straight-forward explanations of how this would help a smallish local business.

He seems to have disappeared without answering any other questions or addressing any of their concerns .. last posting on 6/30 - going on 3 weeks ago.

I, for one, would like to have seen a "real" example of what a FB application *is* .. not really knowing the difference between that and a fan page .. and an example generated by or created through *his* product - not a fancy video of someone else's FB application .. which apparently turns out to be a fan page and *not* a FB application!?!

Anyway, I realize I'm venting my frustration ... but hopefully in a constructive way.

BTW, is anyone who has bought FB Cash 2.0 willing to show me (us) a FB application built with it?

I also would like to know how LOCAL businesses can make money with FB apps. I find that local guys do not care about "LIKES" on facebook. They want telephone calls, "customers through the door", hard cash... So, does your course teach us how to make money for llocal businesses as well as for ourselves?

          Hey,

Yea thats our view also. Businesses don't care about "Like's" or any of that. They want money coming in as a result of their work. These app can help them do that by directing more traffic back to their website or by spreading the right kind of viral concept over facebook fast.

Example: we were in a meeting the other day with a big bus company. They had a fan page that had 13k fans. They wanted to communicate their message to their target audience far more clearly and they wanted to engage them in the right kind of way so they used one of their particular services.

We suggested that we use the current fans they had on facebook with a competition through an app that would spread over facebook. We would also incentive on the app to get access to the product they were promoting from dairys etc that they sell their product. They loved the idea and we are currently in the process of supplying that to them.

There are many other examples of this but what ill do is package them up into a report and post it for my subscribers and you here.

          Hope this helps

        Hey Richard,

I understand your frustration and will make a better effort this time round to keep up to date.

Here is a recent app a member created with the course --> Golf and Haute Cuisine Weekend Getaway on Facebook | Facebook

There are a number of other examples that we have and I have been showing on webinars etc. Ill get a list of them packed into a report shortly and release it for free here on the warrior forum. It will give you the right ideas about how you can use this either for yourself or businesses you help. Give me a week to get that ready.

        Thanks

Coincidentally enough, I've know TC Bradley (the guy he points out in the video who'd made some $ with it) for years. We've partnered, JV'd, etc., in the real estate niche.

I'll give TC a call or email and see what he has to say.

    Hello Everyone,

I attended a Facebook apps webinar hosted by Todd Gross. I have not had time to start the course or generate applications as of yet.

I paid $247 for the FB 2.0 course which included 4 FB applications and an iFrame Fan Page Generator.

-Every visitor that goes through one of your applications will automatically “Like” the Fan Pages they are hosted on.

-Application #1 - Viral Locker Generator is sort of like Groupon. You can create an application and offer a free drink or appetizer and/or another incentive for individuals who join the application and share it with their friends.

Each time the application is shared, a notification (I believe per the webinar) will post on the individuals’ feeds and/or wall. This notification can be viewed by the individuals’ friends. They can join the application for the special and the notification can be viewed by all of their friends… and so on spreading virally across FB. Thus, this application can drive traffic to businesses.

-Application #2 - Event Application Generator allows one to host events for local businesses (bars, clubs, restaurants, charities, etc). When you combine this application with viral applications (like the one above)…you can drive a lot of traffic to these events. Friends of the individual who joined the application can view the event. They can join and all of their friends can view the event and join...and so on.

-Application #3 - Viral Squeeze Generator claims to help you achieve opt-in rates of up to 85%. Allows one to collect email leads from Facebook and automatically integrate them with popular autoresponders such as Aweber and Getresponse.

-Application #4 - Gotowebinar accelerator allows you to market your webinars on Facebook and/or (?) direct individuals to your fan page to sign up for the webinar. It adds the attendees' email addresses to your email list, automatically registers the attendees for the webinar, and add these attendees to a viral Facebook event that can generate more exposure for this event as it virally spreads across Facebook.

The tool or iFrame fan page generator comes with several templates and allows one to create a professional fan page.

Inside the membership area, there is a FB app generator, iFrame generator, and the applications and tool discussed above.

The FB app and iFrame generator come with instruction videos.

The applications contain step by step instructions.

There are two bonus interviews and three bonus giveaways.

Is this FB Cash 2.0 or some other fb app product your talking about.

Just curious because app # 4 makes no sense. Who hosts the webinar are you as the fb expert supposed to host webinars for all your clients or do the businesses host them. Either way I don't see businesses doing webinars to promote themselves. and in order to make 20k a month you need to have 26 steady clients where are you getting the time to run webinars and still maintain the fan pages.

The apps you describe seem to be geared more towards online marketers promoting niche products than to local business owners.
App # 1 and 2 could be very useful to local business

App # 3 only applies if the business maintains an e-mail list which again would be your responsibility as you are charging to maintain the account which brings us back to the point of where are going to find the time to maintain email lists post fb status updates notify of new events and run webinars for 26 clients each and every month.

Not trying to be negative here just curious as to if this is worth all the time and effort sound like a lot more than 12 clicks to 20k to me. Just sayin'

Sam Bakker's FB Cash 2, 4 FB applications, and iframe Generator package that he is selling for $247 on his webinar tour.

Webinars are useful for local businesses that need clients or customers. Think of accountants, financial planners, and other businesses that market services. They can conduct free educational webinars to draw in prospects, automatically add these individuals to their email lists, and market an offer at the end of the webinar.

One of my buddies is training T-Mobile sales reps via webinars on how to use LinkedIn for business development.

You can offer webinar training to offline businesses. You can teach them how to create, market, and convert prospects via Webinars. Likewise, these businesses can host their own live webinars.

Heck, you could also earn commission from GoToWebinar when these businesses sign up for this service via your affiliate link.

These businesses could also funnel traffic through an auto webinar process (that can market to prospects 24/7).

If these business do not want to maintain their email lists and Fan Pages; charge them to do so and take advantage of labor arbitrage by outsourcing this grunt work to someone you trust.

  • I'm not sure how different people are discovering FBCash2 but the following review is based on my personal experience with an offer I purchased that consisted of FBCash2 and FB App Generator. I decided to purchase because the sales video (and even 2 interviews!) was very ambiguous so the only way to find out was to bite the bullet and see for myself...

First, let me say that I agree with Jason (#3) and would say that FBC2 is useful to someone who is looking for more juice in their FB campaigns. Some useful stuff there and definitely worth the stand-alone $37 price tag.

Regarding the rest of the $97 package, these are my observations:

    iFrame (Fanpage) Generator
    1. Choice of 2 templates ($27 upsell for more) and proceed with dashboard settings
    2. Preparing Content
    3. Basic Server Setup
    4. Generating your iFrame fanpage files
    5. Uploading files to server
    6. Integrating fan page to FB

    App Generator
    1. Introduction
    2. Generating Applications With FB Cash Generator
    3. Installing The Application
    5. Local Business Marketing (mis-labelled; should be "4")
    6. Implementing squeeze page applications (requires $17 Squeeze Pages upsell)

    Bonuses
    Guest interviews
    Bonus giveaways

    VIP Content
    n/a

    Personal Observations

    1) There are no PDFs of any kind (no step-by-step detailed explanation available other than video. Each video has a comment section where many people post their Qs - there are many good and relevant Qs that are left unanswered and in one thread, Sam recommends that people submit a support ticket with their problems. Too bad because there is no way of benefiting from these Qs or other community contributions. (Must be a very busy support system!)

Sam refers to a forum (#8) but for the life of me, I can't find it via Google or the product dashboard...?

    2) Part of the promo for this product emphasized the ability to create and sell apps as a way to make some money. The reality of that scenario however, is that you only have the ability to create 2 diff kinds of apps:
1 - email submit - good for CPA (but against TOS to re-direct clicks to non-FB URLs); also good for landing pages

2 - viral app - basically a "before" image that serves as the invitation to click, and the "after" image that shows the result of the click (the offer/coupon/etc as an image) + relevant dld link(s)
Sam also emphasizes in one video that the App Generator will only create "basic marketing apps," NOT "custom" apps. Realistically, I don't see a large market for farming out your app-creating services based on these two very limited abilities.

    3) A significant amount of the FBCash2 content is clearly original FBCash1 content. In fact, some of the instructional videos show how to edit the fbml templates. There is other instructions on creating iframe pages but the fact the the fbml content is still there, I find irksome. (It's a peeve of mine to purchase "updated" products only to discover that the creator didn't bother to update the original content. I have run into this on THREE other occasions this past June on MUCH more expense offerings and it really peeves me. If I'm going to pay $100 (this one) and up ($500 & $3K for other courses!) for a product, please have the decency to provide current content. At least pretend to respect the people that are paying you substantial money.

    4) The App Generator is web-based. I'm looking for something that I can work with from my desktop.

    5) The majority of videos do NOT have dld links and have to be viewed online (I know why they do it but it's just an inconvenience for us honest people). And because they're not on a dedicated page, it's not possible to capture them. I like to view/listen to vids at my leisure on my ipod.

    6) Based on the physical limitations of the App Generator, I don't see much use for my offline business. A business owners' first priority is to get people in the door, not collect email addys so that leaves the viral app as the primary benefit of this product. And that basically means paying for a web-based software to create a one-dimensional two-image app. Personally, I need something more creative ...but this might suffice for others.

    7) As for offline business ideas - you will most likely benefit from the information in FBCash2, if you're a rookie. But I've been doing this for a while so I personally didn't learn anything that I don't already implement. I'm not writing FBCash2 off completely but I definitely don't recommend paying $97 or $247 for the combo package when FBC2 can be picked up for $37 elsewhere.

    8) There are fields to enter GotoWebinar ID and FB Event ID however, those features seem to be part of a different package (?)and there is nothing to explain how to apply them... or upgrade.

    Please Note:
This review is based on my personal experience with the product and is not meant to be a reflection on the creators. I don't know them personally and I don't mean to present them in a negative light for any reason. I'm also not suggesting that this is an inferior product; these comments are simply based on my personal needs and expectations.

I only offer this review because of my own frustration at not being able to identify what the product actually did from the sales video and hope that this might help others determine whether it would be useful for them. It's not a bad product, just limited in what I'm personally looking for, esp for the price that I paid.

It looks like Sam is nowhere to be found. I did receive several offers from him after he stopped posting here.

About FBCash 2.0 - I watched a few of the videos and they were all outdated. I decided not to bother with the rest. Until Sam does something that changes my mind, I sincerely believe that you can pick up something much better for a lot less and get more support at the Warrior Special Offers forum.

This is my second purchase from Sam. My first purchase was a Facebook Fan page Training course with plr rights before the big changes of March 11th. I purchased because he said that he would update the course after March 11th, but to my knowledge he never did. He answered 1 of my 3 pm's on that.

Sam is very talented, but that's not enough. He has to provide support to those who are the main reason why he is enjoying a better lifestyle -- and so far he has not.

This is my opinion ... and you don't have to agree with me.

    Best Regards.

      Hey man,

Sorry for the lack of response. Facebook just put through an SSL change that is going to come into effect in October. We have been updating the course for that. We have also given all FB Cash 2.0 members a free upgrade to the Fan Page Generator in the course to make generating fan pages even easier and all videos have been updated with the current facebook changes except for the new facebook.com/developers change taking place right now.

We have also decided to invest alot into the next apps upgrade we are doing. I'm not going to give to many details about it but our goal is to make the creation of apps even easier for everyone.

We have added in a support desk into the course and all emails messages through that are being answered within 48 hours. This is only a few of the positive changes taking place. All changes have been requests from members, it has meant I havnt emailed out very often to subscribers of mine. I think it's more important that we get these things fixed up before moving forward with other products or promotions until we're happy with it.

If you need anything and you're a current member of FB Cash or a past member of another program email me at sam@sambakker.com I answer all emails and you will be taken care of

This is a programme with HUGE potential for anyone willing to apply themselves.

Unfortunately the training is a real let down.

I paid my money to Bakker Pirini & Associates on 20th July.

Every day (not Sundays) since then I've spent 3 to 4 hours trying to put the training in to practice.

Following these instructions so far I have created a simple Facebook fan page: Gotta Love London | Facebook

I have created a Customised Fan Page that outlines my offer - it's currently sitting on my computer, almost ready to go

I'm fairly convinced that the offer I have for my fans will go viral... so, following Sam's recommendation, I have purchased a matching domain: Gotta Love London dot com and installed a Wordpress blog.

Facebook are making some changes on 1 October that will require the use of SSL for applications. So following Wynne Pirini's recommendations, I have upgraded my hosting package with Hostgator to "Business" so as to take advantage of the Hostgator SSL.

I have also purchased a further domain, SecurePhoenix dot com - which, again, is installed as an Add-on domain at MyDomain - so as to implement the SSL

I haven't yet uploaded the customised Facebook Fan page I created as I just can't get my head around the, so many, conflicting instructions for creating and uploading the Application.

I read in the forum here that Sam would prefer any specific questions to be sent to him at sam@sambakker.com. So, this morning, after 4 weeks of going around and around, I spent more of my time carefully crafting an email asking Sam for specific guidance in just one area of FB Cash 2.0., i.e. the Application

    I closed my email with:

I realise that I should be able to follow your instructions, but after 4 weeks of diligent application... I'm really getting a bit fed up.

Please don't make me feel worse by offering a refund... I don't want my money back (besides which I've already made a significant investment elsewhere in your programme).

What I want is some clear, concise, instructions... I want to be able to implement this - preferably with a smile on my face
    Sam's response...

    Hey Kevin,

Thanks for your message, I understand your frustration. On the 22nd of August we are starting to test a big upgrade that we've been working on since we launched the program. It will mean you can host with us and there will be no more hassles or having to touch databases or servers.

This will solve your problems. Please wait for an email from me with the details. We are really excited to bring this change to you and it will improve your results and allow you do run the system easily.

    Cheers
    Sam B
Now at this point I'm about ready to throw all my toys out of the pram ... when my phone rings...

"it's Sam Bakker calling for New Zealand... I think we may have got our wires crossed... let's talk it through and see where I can help"
Some 2 hours later (when it's 2:30 a.m. in NZ) Sam has talked me through and helped me upload my first Application.

Now, would it normally take so long to create and upload an Application? Unlikely... my connection was particularly slow.. at one time going down to 7.3 kps

I guess that once you're familiar with the process, creation would take about 30 to 45 minutes - depending on your graphics creating abilities - and upload 5 to 10 minutes - depending upon your connection speed. But, what you would definitely want is a "Check Sheet"... like aircraft pilots... 1. Do this... 2. Do that... etc.

Sam say he's recorded our session and is going to send me a copy. In recognition of his time with me, I've offered to create a Video explanation and a "Check Sheet" from that recording, the details of which I will post in the FB Cash Forum. He also says that they are introducing some changes that will make the whole process a lot more simple

So in answer to the Original Post, "Yes" Jennifer... it is worth investing your time and money - the potential is HUGE and Bakker Pirini & Associates have demonstrated their willingness to go the extra mile for their customers.
